The service was amazing and food is soooo good!! Definitely coming back
Very quaint little restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food! Prices are pretty good and portions are generous!
Husband and I went for my birthday. Food was wonderful and our server was very friendly and she checked on us several times to make sure we were good.
Service was fantastic, that’s the only good thing I can say the food was one note and expensive. We had the calamari to start it was bland and tough, I had the shrimp and crab special over linguine the sauce was watery and salty and one note , no depth of flavor at all for a 30 dollar plate of food. My husband had shrimp scampi again the sauce was watery and all you could taste was capers like they use the brine of the capers to make sauce.( Imagine a sauce made with pickle juice)I traded plates with my husband because he liked mine better but neither of us finished any of the food. I really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere is fantastic. It gets two stars because of the service and atmosphere some people might argue that we ordered the wrong thing, but I feel like a restaurant that charges their prices, everything on the menu should be delicious.
Food was good. Service was great. They serve homemade bread which is delicious. I could smell it baking when I sat down. I will definitely go again.
While the food is solid...the service, friendliness and caring of the staff and owners makes this a top restaurant in the area. Highly recommend for the nice atmosphere. Decent Wine selection as well.
No exaggeration, if you like Italian, youll love Capriccio!!! Beautiful presentation, excellent service, delicious food!!! If you want a treat, give this a try and thank me later!😃
We came unannounced and were seated quickly. There was a very large group of people who were celebrating a birthday. However you couldnt tell by the staff! Top notch team they are. Even with the chaos, we were treated very well. Definitely not disappointed.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Can’t wait to return!
The Spinach Gnocchi was superb!Highly recommend this restaurant. Will go back.
Really liked dining outside. The weather was great that evening. Veal was perfect. Marinara sauce delicious. Service was excellent. Wine selection very good.
We had a wonderful meal. Suggest doing something about the gnats however.
Great Italian restaurant. Very good service, each person that helped us was very nice. The food was great!
Great food and our server was the best. No bud light but the excellent food made up for that. We will definitely be going back to try the cheese cake because they ran out.
I went with a group of five, so I was able to sample a few dishes 😊. The entrees were fabulous! We also had some wonderful appetizers. The wait staff couldnt have been better. I cant wait to go back again! The filet mignon with gorgonzalez cheese and a demi-glace and the chicken parmesan are calling my name!!!
Second time there to celebrate our anniversary and they did not disappoint. Food (my husband had one of the specials pork chop in Alfredo sauce and I had Linguine pescatorewas delicious and our server (who I’m guessing was the ownerwas very attentive and professional, which made the experience even more relaxing and special. Will definitely go back with my husband and kids in the future.
My wife and I had the Calamari for an appetizer. Wife had the Mahi Mahi with asparagus and linguini, I had the Alfredo Linguini. All of it tasted great. The owner personally came to us and asked us how the meal was. Very nice, professional, and polite.I highly recommend visiting, over abs over again. You wont be disappointed. One more thing as a desert you MUST have the homemade cheesecake. Very smooth, and tasty
Great service with very good food. If you are comparing it to Olive Garden, the gnocchi is buttery soft in comparison and both mine and my wifes meals were cooked very well. Our server was very prompt and kind and our overall experience was very good.
Over priced, no soup or salad included with entrees. Food was ok, not worth the money. Also, thank you for the recommendation of Olive Garden. I looked it up and no health violations!
We arrived for our 6:45 reservation and was told that there would be about a 10 minute wait for the table to clear. We got the same story at 7:00 and at 7:15. We left at 7:30. While we were waiting, I watched two different people come in to get there carry out order, but left empty-handed after waiting 10-15 minutes. Management needs to be trained on customer service in a big way.
We made a dinner reservation in advance for 6:45. The entire party was there early and we waited over an hour for a table that we were never seated at even with our reservation. I asked to speak with the manager who left mid conversation and never returned. When I asked to speak with him again I was told we would have to wait longer to speak with him because he was unavailable. This was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced and as we waited in the small entryway I watched other individuals with to go orders and reservations decide to leave because of the untimely service. We were disregarded and ignored while waiting for a table they said would take “15 minutes”. I would not recommend this restaurant or it’s service to anyone.
Daughters college graduation we made reservations for 6:45 and was there early for a party of 8. One hour later we were still waiting on a table because the party there before us had been there since 5 and manager made no effort to help us get a table or speed things up. Manager came out once and said he would see what he could do and never followed back up with us. Whats more frustrating is eating at other restaurants we have been warned ahead that tables were reserved and would need to be finished so the next group could be seated. Not here. Insincere apologies were all we received
Loved our experience here. Calamari appetizer was great. Food was excellent. Our server, a young man, was top shelf with his attitude and attentiveness.
The service was C- at best.My boyfriend and I spent what felt like forever here waiting on our food and check. We ordered the calamari appetizer and it was obviously frozen as some pieces were still ice cold, and when the appetizer plate was empty it just sat on our table the rest of the meal as a reminder that we shouldn’t have eaten it. My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti and if it weren’t so greasy it might’ve been better.I however ordered the gnocchi with a pesto cream sauce and steak. When it hit the table I couldn’t have been more surprised at the sheer appearance of my food. What looks like gnocchi sat in a swamp of green slime looking sauce that had little flavor if any at all. The steak ($8 upchargewas a teeny portion, crunchy and bland. When you mixed it all together it was a nightmare.I knew I shouldn’t have eaten much of it but I did.Upon getting home I was sick the entire rest of the night. Will not be back.
they were out of complimentary bread, so that’s a great start. pasta was soup-like, and i got ham in my dish when it was definitely not listed in the description AND it had a bone in it. boyfriend got gnocchi and it was undercooked and way too doughy. paid way too much for mediocre food and service. definitely did not expect this from a Pinnacle restaurant.
The best Italian weve had in a long time, and a great atmosphere as well! The calamari appetizer was incredible, and the Linguine Pescatore was amazing. We shared the wntre and so glad we did.. it was a lot of food,, but still light and flavorful. Definitely recommend!
Way overpriced for what you get. First off, they served stale french bread cut into squares with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as the complimentary bread and dip. No herbs or seasoning. Most pasta dinners start at around $18 then they charge an extra $6-$8 if you want meat on the plate, bringing the total for common pasta plates to well over $20. Then to add insult, the food they serve is both cheap quality as well as small portions. The pasta on the plate was only two bites worth. Ive never seen an Italian place serve so little pasta before. It was also cheap, packaged pasta that was overcooked. The meat was thin, tough, bland, and clearly baked quickly in an oven, as there was no browning whatsoever on it. The alfredo sauce tasted nothing like alfredo sauce and actually ended up upsetting my girlfriends stomach. Then we have the issue of poor service. It wasnt very busy when we went, but somehow it took over 15 mins for the waitress to take our order and longer than that to get any bread to our table. Drinks were never refilled. They only devote time to your table if youre purchasing wine and other high margin menu items. There are far better places to go in the area for Italian - Napolis, Bocca, Pastafina, even Johnny Carinos and the Olive Garden is better and they give you more for your money. Dont waste your time and money at Capriccios! If the restaurant is located by McClards BBQ and Tacos 4 Life, then I have the right restaurant. The bread was cut into small squares/rectangles and the pasta served was a tiny portion. What the owner says in the reply is simply untrue.
I asked for "no vegetables" because "Im an adult and dont have to eat them."I got no vegetables at all. No complaints - they gave me exactly what I asked for... But I meant the side of vegetables, not every single vegetable including the main dish. I think it was actually commendable they were willing to go to that trouble. I mean, it was kinda weird because I didnt figure it out later. Just the chicken and sauce. Where are my capers, tomatoes and olives? Ooooh, ok.The bread was good. And some other appetizer thingies my friend ordered before I got there... Mysteriously google routed me from Springdale through pea ridge, so I was late. Totally my fault, too.Anyway, a bunch of thumbs up. Or two since thats all I got.
Absolute Must !!!! I just moved here 4months ago from a big city. I have tried Numerous restaurants. No Success on finding on what I call upscale, quality dining. I was craving Italian and we walked into Capriccio, Oh My what an Absolute Delight !! Carlos greeted us and I felt right at home. Lori our waitress was AMAZING, so Fun to talk to and EXCELLENT service !! We visited with Carlos and Lori. Frank Sinatra was playing, white cloth tables, atmosphere took me back to Real Italian family atmosphere. Food was OUTSTANDING !! Thank You Lori, Carlos and Capriccio for a Wonderful dinner. An Absolute Must to go !! See you soon ♥️
I was very disappointed in the lack of flavor in their ravioli. The tomato sauce had no flavor nor any seasoning, the cheese filling was bland, and the shrimp was flavorless rubber. The calamari wasnt bad
Being married to a New York Italian, we tend to know real “Italian” when we run across it. By chance, our usual Italian favorite was closed permanently and we needed to feed our craving. One quick Google search did not leave us disappointed. From the outside, it doesn’t look to be what you are treated to on the inside. The atmosphere only primes you for the amazing appetizers and entrees. We were constantly trading dishes to sample the cuisine. No one left hungry or disappointed. I’m almost afraid to leave this review in fear that I may not be able to get a reservation once the word gets out.....
Service was pretty good. The salad with fruit was really good but everything else was just so-so (there were 4 of us and we each ordered different things). Definitely not worth the cost. We were overcharged for one of our meals (mine). I wouldnt go back.
Our first time was this evening for our 9 year anniversary. What an amazing atmosphere and staff. Walking in the door and being greeted by such an friendly staff made us immediately feel like we were regulars. The food was spectacular. The mouth watering, made in house dressing drizzled over our berry salad was phenomenal. 10 out of 10 will recommend and cant wait to return.
Honestly been looking for a place that reminds me of grandmas cooking and this is the the closest I’ve ever found. Great food Gnocchi’s definitely fresh with some amazing flavor. Great service and were very welcoming. Definitely will recommend and be returning
Let me start with why 2 stars. We went for my daughters 21st birthday dinner. Service was slow and we only got one of the two appetizers we ordered and it was half the size of what was posted by another patron on yelp. It said antipasta for two, hahahaha... if it was for two you Are the size of a fairy.. Bread service was very slow, had to remind the server. Not sure if our server had to many tables. The food was good and if I was just grading the food it would be 4 stars.
The only good thing this place had was nice serveres. The majority of the dishes were super salty, the wine was stale, and and the end I was charged for the wine that was returned. Although the servers were nice, the service was still pretty slow.I wouldve given them 3 stars, but the last straw was when I was charged for wine that tasted as old or watered down.
My family has been eating with Carlos for many years now, and it is where I like to spend every special meal. Their pasta is so sinful and that ricotta cheesecake is something everyone should try (even if they don’t like cheesecake). Carlos treats everyone like family and provides a true Italian dining experience, relaxing and indulgent.
Number one place for authentic Italian hands down! Great food and amazing service, will not disappoint. In house pasta and sauces, fresh salads- you can’t go wrong with any dish choice. Not to mention the hospitality, thank you Carlos for a wonderful evening!
This place consistently has great food. It is surprising they dont have a more well stocked bar, but it does fit my typical needs. Service is on the spot and they are very good about splitting tickets when with coworkers.
Great food and service.Gnocchi and risotto were amazing, you can taste the freshness.
Great Italian food with a twist. Calm atmosphere. Wonderful friendly and competent service. Reasonable prices ($$$). Try their veal and shrimp special, its very well prepared and flavorful. Carlos and Courtney are excellent wait staff. We have had a delightful evening every time we go.
My husband and I just got off a 16 hour shift. Decided to try something new since we will be back at work within 10 hours. He called to make sure we could walk in with regular blue collar clothing, Carlos welcomed us in as if we just left a wedding! Our server was the sweetest man and put up with me being very particular (thank you). The complimentary sourdough with olive oil and vinaigrette was delicious. We ordered a bruschetta and it was flavorful and fresh! We love heat, Carlos made sure we had an extra red marinara sauce with the heat we crave and flavour everyone else lacks. We couldnt decide and we left the main dish up to the chef and our server, we where served a spicy Chicken Parmesan and was not disappointed! We paired it with an Old Fashioned and my glass of sweet red (I had to bring home a bottle), by far the best experience weve had in the last 4 years traveling the U.S.This place will be our kitchen weekly!
We are so glad we decided on this restaurant! We arrived on a Saturday around 6:30. It was moderately busy and became busier the later it got. The staff was attentive and friendly. Courtney did a great job! My Gnocchi Verde (which is homemadewas delicious and the Arugula salad with candied pears and a light lemony balsamic dressing was fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered the Veal Marsala and was very pleased. Nice wine/ cocktail menu. I just wish we lived closer so we could dine again.
First of all this was a fine dining experience. Being well traveled and many experience our party of four all agreed that pour meals were perfectly prepared with some amazing flavors. Service was enjoyable and just wonderful. The lady who filed my water I never knew when she did all for times. Thats professional service. Upon leaving we were thanked by the staff which is how they treated all the patrons. I would say the negative reviews are from inexperienced diners. Our individuals not familiar with quality dining. Thank you chef for the amazing journey to authentic Italian cuisine.Steven
Great homemade Italian food at reasonable prices. Great service! I had the antipasto salad for 2 at $12. It was huge and really tastey. We were a group of 10 and everyone e was very happy.
One word: flavor. Sabor! The pollo marsala was delivered as advertised. The chicken was tender and pulled apart with ease. The side of pasta (to order-- I chose bowtiewith shitake mushrooms was perfect. The mushrooms were fully cooked, not chewy. Optional parmesan cheese from the waiter, to order, was fresh and ground as it was served. The free bread appetizer was still warm (there was only one business couple present at noon). The cheesecake is worth every penny-- it is not your standard New York cheesecake. This one was made with TLC and had a strong cream flavor-- tasty!- and served chilled. Capriccio Ristorante was a fantastic find; thanks to Google for recommending it! I will definitely be back with my family.
So after a year being open, we finally stopped in to try the food. My only regret is that we didnt go sooner! The area is clean and the lighting is very comfortable. The waiter was working several tables, but he still took 100% care of our needs. The food was very hot and the presentation was excellent. The portion sizes were very large, and honestly they could make them smaller and not affect the value at all. The wine is a bit higher than expected, but when balanced against the delicious and perfectly prepared food, it is really nit picking. Carlos, the owner, stopped by and greeted us. He even poured our wine during dinner as well as brought us a piece of cheesecake for our anniversary. The food was very much Italian. All the ingredients were fresh and colorful. If you want an authentic and moderately proceed Italian dinner, I highly recommend this place. Ask Carlos to tell you about his time in New York.
This place is AWESOME! 7 of us girls came from Bella Vista for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with steak and the steak was cooked perfect, med-rare. The side salad for $3.00 was large and the bread was real good. You will not be disappointed! Go see them.
Awesome owner, awesome place! Upscale obscure itiain with hand made flare. Everything was piping hot including the bread. We ate the grilled calamari salad for starters and main course dishes were all great sized portions, the desserts were all fresh and very tasty. Not your everyday chain across the highway.
Carlos is such a terrific host. We were a party of six and he just starting bringing us appetizers and main courses that we shared family style. The pasta, the fish, the calamari, and the steak were all very good. What a nice evening!
