Cardtronics ATM in Monmouth County

Used ATM at Co Op which it was free. However, it added a charge on the transaction. I cancelled it, but they took the money from my card anyways. Now Ive had to put in a dispute for my bank to follow up.

Transaction of £40 to be withdrawn, the cash machine did not dispense any money. The machine was inside the Co-op branch and they were no help at all. Disgraceful

If youre lucky the whole process will go entirely as expected. Alternatively you may find yourself in a position similar to mine...no cash card, no money and a hundred pound down out of my account and upto 28 days wait for its return (pending investigation into the transaction by cashzone). Joy of joys, next time Im looking to get money from my bank account I wont be using a cash machine the looks, works and performs like a commodore 64. For the record, the machine states that I didnt remove my card in time, however, Ive used a cash machine more than enough times to know how to do it correctly. If the machine doesnt eject my card but rather makes an odd clicking sound several times before informing me and subsequently punishes me for not removing my inaccessible debit card it will most likely lead to an angry customer and a passive aggressive review similar to this on Google!!! (Not that it will change anything but its a very healthy channel to express my frustration at your service/ update 8/6/22 money has been refunded to my bank account 20 days later. Review has been updated by 1 star to reflect the fact that cardtronics have acted reasonably promptly in investigating my failed transaction and acted accordingly

Charging fees without letting you know and double charging without your authority

we have been trying to buy receipt paper for over 3 weeks numerous phone calls all ways told sorry about that we will send them out straight away !!STILL NO PAPER ROLLS

Took £20 out of the account. Got a new card.

Had to submit an ATM dispute via my bank to get my money back, eventually refunded 3 weeks later.

Just had £250 taken off my credit card, not used it in ages but used it for one item last week.

Scammers... they claim to provide free cash withdrawals, but then charge you in a foreign currency which carries a 10% commission for them over the exchange rate

Cardtronics UK ltd or Cash Zone mashines avoid them please! I was withdrawing 200 at BP petrol station in Edinburgh and mashine gave my card and then error message stating that dont worry you have not been charged but I checked my online banking on my mobile and guess what I was charged 200 pounds cardtronics UK ltd. BP of course cant help they dont own mashine and dont run so you stand like idiot without 200 pounds you wanted to withdraw. First called cardtronics UK ltd number what you get on cash machine they of course cant help even they own mashine and have my cash now! Need to call my bank. Call bank need to wait 24 hours. Called Police they cant help either ofcourse. Waited 24 hours called again say need to wait another 24 hours I said no thanks please open dispute. Transferred to someone in UK they open dispute then need to wait up to 14 days .Cash zone cash mashine looks like from scrap yard sale restarted itself 2 or more time with out of order message and with WIN XP start logo no camera in cash mashine either. I called them Saturday and told about all this do you think they send technician of course not only said will send after I called on wendesday next week second time to check with them again. CCTV records are kept for only 30 days and I requested my records from BP as per law you can request your own recordings were its only you visible. On 2.10.21 when asked about dispute was told by my card issuer Barclays will get charge back for my 200. Need also to cancel my old card as I dont trust after my card been at Cardtronics cash zone mashine. And guess what why you think Cardtronics mashine at BP petrol station does not have CCTV inside it ? You guessed it so they can keep your money since its your words against them. Keep safe people and if you see Cash zone logo on cash mashine avoid!!

If you can avoid a Cardtronics machine please do (mainly sited at Co-op stores).If the machines fail and dont give you your monies even though its been taken from your bank account its hard to get your money back as they investigate and then decide if they will refund the money and even then its a good chance that they will refuse.Useless, scammers, unfriendly, unhelpful, just a few words to sum them up..

Used this machine once. Have had to cancel both my card and account with Revolut as I have withdrawals from cash machines made multiple times that were not me. -53.39 from a cash point? How is that even possible!!!Do not use these machine at all!Go-op in Tadley is the problem one it started from.

Ive used this and its took over £200 out my bank over the months do not use and still unsure if they can take anything else out so keep an eye on your bank statements

Avoid this ATM! I took out 20 pounds for urgent use and i was charged 26 pounds at last!

Do not use these cash machines , steal your card and money and dont like to give it back , the staff are the most unprofessional womans ive ever known.

Absolutely useless cash machine that charges a lot just to use it then will periodically charge you again for your previous cash withdrawals. Avoid at all costs.

I was shopping in Makro and they were having problems with their card machines at the tills. They advised the customers to withdraw cash from a machine in the store.I went to draw £100 and received a receipt but no money. I spoke with a member of staff in the shop and was told that the cash machine is run by another company and to phone the number on the machine to contact them.I phoned the only number on the machine which was an 0845 number. After phoning them, I realised that it was a premium number. Emailed customer service but they refused to refund the money for the phone call despite accepting that their machine was faulty.I have written to the Ombudsman to complain about the 0845 number which should be removed from the machine.Just another to boost their profit.
