Had appointment at 10am this morning it’s been 10 hours my trailer still not ready yet they keep lying about loading the load

A typical violator of drivers privacy! Is it legal to collect pieces of information such as drivers license, truck registration, license plate, phone numbers, etc.??Product often loaded and unsecured by loadlocks. What is worse is that they refuse to cut the seal, open doors , and secure the load. If product shifts, who is responsible for damage. Right! A driver.. Illogical and stupid...

One star is two more than they deserve. 26 hours and still waiting. Drivers lose money every time theyre sent here and still, nothing changes.

Usually not too bad. Today, seal missing on trailer. So far over an hour waiting for someone to bring it. Incompetence and laziness on Cargills part. Load will be late, and I missed chance to swing by house and see my wife and kids. No one here cares. Park in front of their exit at quitting time and take a 30 and theyll care. Haha!

Load was due at 3pm, but they said 7pm. Actually ready around 5:40 am the next day. Almost 15 hours later than we were originally told. The back end of the trailer wasso heavy I can only stay legal by not fueling past a half tank on the front end while putting the tandems all the way back. Its kind of inconvenient having to stop for fuel more often.Really, its not even the worst Cargil Ive ever been to so I cant complain too much. At least their lot isnt a mud pit and its not in the middle of nowhere. The Walmart nearby was convenient too.

Fast in and out .. they wash trailers here, Reata Travel Stop with CAT Scale right down the street.... Nice people working here.

Always slow and make you wait to get loaded. My first time I waited 39 hours exactly before my load was ready. Its always games that any Cargill in America will love to make you play if your a truck driver.

So far here waiting on a 3 am end of window load for 10 additional hours. No communication. Mind blowing!

Been here, so far, 31 hours waiting for them to unload my trailer. Staff great to deal with but something should be done about their receiving.

Most incompetent group of people I have ever delt with.The gaurd that checked me in put the wrong trailer on my load number and after 24 hours of trying to get it corrected they finally loaded the correct trailer. Thanks for the huge waist of time

Cargill has zero respect for truck drivers. 12 hours+ late on loads that could have been preloaded makes zero sense.

This is the worst shipper I’ve everrrr been to waited over 27 hrs for them to load a trailer that’s unheard of never again

The older lady that works security should be given a job that doesnt require talking to people shes rude and I think mentally unstable. She did mention recovering from a brain injury to someone else (not sure if that was a jokeBut she started talking to me from 30 feet away so I moved closer and said "sorry I couldnt hear you" so she angrily screamed at me said shes trying not to yell and she aint no young punk shes old enough to be most peoples grandma blah blah blah... shes honestly insane.Ill provide a photo of this lady to cargill if they request it.I didnt get her name because shes to crazy for me to even want to ask it...

I arrived 10 minutes b4 my 0600 appointment & the guard tells me to go park & wait on the street because they don’t have anyone to unload me yet. I notice the guards doing a shift change & hence the reason they didn’t want to deal with me. I walk in my bills and a new guard tells me to park in their lot but I get the bills back marked as late. Learn from my misfortune & demand your arrival time stamp. Report this place to OSHA if you see health violations, it’s the only way to clean this place up. Who wants spoiled meat?

Check in people were all nice, easy drop and hook, walmart and loves near by. Picked up here quite a few times only had to have 1 load reworked so far, 1200 lbs over on drives took a few hrs to fix, not my favorite meat shipper but not a bad place. A wildlife sanctuary is about 40 miles west its pretty cool to check out I think its over 3 miles of walking a little pricey but if your sitting with nothing to do its worth it, the loves near by has a pond out back with carp or something, they are decent size if you have a fishing pole.

Security always friendly here. One of the better meat plants to load out of.

Security guards are pleasant, but here it is day 3 and still not loaded. 50 bucks says it will be ready just in time to get caught in the blizzard.

Nice location, friendly folk in the guard shack. Washout on site, just drop the trailer and they will take care of it ! They do take some time to have your load ready though, but that is kinda expected at most meat plants. Said I will receive a call when trailer is done and ready to be picked up. Keeping my fingers crossed on that. Truck parking available around the corner and a few miles away.

Arrived at 8 am for my 8 am appointment, didnt get out of there until 8 pm. No detention paid and I couldnt leave as they had my trailer. Do yourselves a favor drivers... stay far away from this place!

So Cargill called me at the Loves to say my load is ready. So I finished my break and roll back to the plant to pick up my trailer, hook up and notice there’s no seal on the door. I’m thinking maybe they’ll seal me when I get to the gate. Get to the gate and the security guard is just as dumb founded as I am as to where the seal is. So here I sit after 30 minutes waiting on a seal. Cargill. Come on Man!

No Semi staging area but, if you Bobtail out lots of parking on street, Walmart shopping or other place to hang.Not so busy, like hell, just last year so nice to pickup there!! Denver is home for so I just go home!!

based on my personal experience. If you have to pickup here… i hope you have at least 24h. To waste. Shunt guys are almost useless. Loading staff? Completely useless. Security is ok. 3 times they got it wrong. Even than was still over weight. But i was fed up, so at that point, wasting another 5/6 hours just wasn’t a option anymore. Never again.

All the years coming here,have always had my load ready at list 10 hours early. Thank you.

Slowest place Ive ever been to, over 34hrs of waiting. then when I hook up and head over to the loves to scale out the front end was over weight and I was sitting at under half tanks of fuel on the truck and the reefer, so had to back into a dock and have them reload the whole trailer.

Guard shack not helpful at all, came for a Meat & Bone load, youre pretty much on your own as to figuring out where to go...No signage either!What would of taken 45 minutes to an hour anywhere in the world took 3 and a half hours ( no one in front of me)

They are hard and unkind to theyre employees. That being said they do offer alot and if you can cope in the environment that is there then they offer great things to their employees aswell as a decent check. Their management has improved well over the years and is still getting where it needs to be, to be a hospitable workplace. If you work here keep on keeping on and be safe.

Their security needs to get All Staff on the same page.Tell me why after parking bobtail across the street in the dirt-gravel lot out of the way for 10+ hours was suddenly a problem at 2230.Daytime guards said anywhere out on the street or across the street.Signs on the roadway are clearly posted, (most likely by County/State DOTthat it’s a NO Parking Zone.I’m sure any driver out here Hates being woken up to someone pounding on their door in the middle of the night & talked to with an attitude.

Fast, nice people...Pull in wait for security to check your trailer, slide your tandems to back, go to wash out and unhook, bobtail back to office/security get your trailer # sign papers go hook your trailer come out theyll bring your papers and youre good to go.

Call before you start your clock and check on your load, they seem to often be behind schedule. No need to sweep or wash out trailer as they have their own wash bay which is nice. Walmart down the street is convenient for shopping and parking.

They have a trailer wash bay here.Watch out for some pretty big potholes if youre picking up a trailer.

Speaking on behalf of trucker point of view. This place is ridicously slow. Being put on a load and waited over 24 hours for one box of merchandise to be put on the load and here almost 27 hours finally leaving after taking 2 hours just to get the bills signed. They really need to communicate between the loading dock people and the guardhouse staff. and the trucker not leaving everything up in the air for the guessing of when a load is ready.

Attention truckers! This place takes for ever to get your load ready expect at least 1 day of wait till they have you ready to go. I never had to wait this long before. There is a walmart near by which is the only good thing

The workers in rendering loadout are extremely rude and offensive. They try to play all high and mighty. I had someone call in one me with a bold face lie.This place has absolutely no respect for freight relocation specialist

The gentleman in security were quick and professional, and the yard switcher was very quick to pull a freshly cleaned trailer out of the wash bay so that I could back in. Its pretty of space and well organized.

As a worker with previous experience in the military, construction, and even warehousing this has got to be the worst place Ive ever worked. Unsanitary conditions left myself and many others getting continuously sick with the flu and respiratory infections. Unreliable and incompetent supervisors make it impossible to find common ground on the work floor. Cargill is a for company workplace and employees are expendable which shows why their turn over rate is the worst Ive ever seen or heard of.

Stay away from this place and this shiper start with the security and the rest of the crew. Drop the trailer at 11am know is 6 am next morning and still not ready, rude and lazy people,al together mean losers,lost in time

Once on Gateway, turn right just before bldg & park, guard will come out, start unit, open doors, slide tandems. Wash bay is immediately on your left once guard clears you. Drop your trailer, find your empty & go back to check out. Ez-peezee

This company here is typical to Colorado work ethics. They ALWAYS are late on getting loads out they seem to not really care at all. The guards are lazy as well, they say they will call you when your load is ready, but they wont its just too much trouble. You have to go up to them to remind them that youve been waiting on the load for 15 + hrs. Whomever is running this place should be replaced with someone who is serious about getting the job done, not people who are related to one another with no sense of work ethic. Thanks Cargill for waisting my time every time. Good job on that.

After 24 hours waiting for my load, I realized that my trailer was loaded and ready to go 4 hours after I dropped means I waited 20 hours for nothing. Thanks to security, who are good for nothing. They say we will call you but they never do. Hold on guys....., this is not the end of the drama. Security lost my paperwork and shipment denied to print another copy. Waited another 6 hours until I got the paperwork. Havent seen such a pathetic company in my whole career.

I love coming here. The staff is always amazing and I have never had an issue. It’s fresh meat so you will have to wait sometimes for it to be perfect to go out understand it has to be USDA inspected which can take a while. Follow directions and you won’t have a issue like most Refrigerated shippers your reefer must be full don’t complain when they send you out because it isn’t full. There’s a cat scale right across from Walmart if for some reason you can’t scale or it’s over gross they will fix the issue. They will do everything they can to ensure you are taken care of but remember they are human as well sometimes mistakes are made but if you go in with a bad attitude that makes things worse. On 18 years of trucking coming here quite often I’veNever had an issue and will gladly come back!

Over night parking on street and at Wal-Mart. Lounge is basic with chairs, a table, vending machine and a sink. Clean head and shower stall. Security and shipping are nice. Still waiting for my preloaded trailer thou 🤔. Ive been here for at least 24hrs now. Im told the load is still waiting on product 😪

They made driver drop trailer and they are not loading after 24 hours. This is 5th time they said it will be ready in 2 hours. Refused to release trailer from the lot. DO NOT drop trailer at this facility, you will not be able to get it back until they decide you can take it. Driver is waiting for a second day now.

They seem as theyre very much about business, and not socializing, and to me thats a beautiful thing.I arrived around 04:00 so I could knock out a ten hour break so I would have a fresh clock.Went back in just before noon to see if my load might be ready early but was told "no paperwork yet" in very short order, I told her thank you, and was sincere and she reciprocated with a sincere "youre welcome."Moral of this story? Be nice, you may not get what you want, but it does make the day better for all involved.

Simply because they did not cave to pressure from a special-interest group. It sounds as if they did all they could without sacrificing company excellence to accommodate - that is far beyond any business in which I have worked!In reading the reviews, it sounds as if their trucks and loading has a problem in efficiency - make sure you all are taking the proper channels to air your complaints to get results and not just verbally venting..

Terrible. Had me drop my empty in the wash bay and hook up to my loaded trailer. As Im pulling up to the security shack to get my bills, they come out and tell me to "put the trailer back and go park across the street. No trailers are allowed to leave". Been sitting here 12 hours now, no phone call and the bobtails are just piling up. Very rude as well. Definitely will decline load in the future.
