Family restaurant with really good food. First time I ate there and was pleasantly surprised by how good the good was. It is pricey.
The food was good. The salad was great, the lasagna is delicious, and the sirloin is also but it was a little too chewy. The dessert brownie was delicious as well.
1st visit. Unimpressed. Salad was so overdressed that we were calling it soup salad. Service wasnt very good. Serving wasnt very good for the price.
This used to be our go to place for many, many years. Since the remodel it’s gone downhill. The vibe is very sterile, bright, corporate, and uncomfortable. The food has gone downhill. My steak and my husband’s salmon were both under cooked on the bottom half and overcooked on the top half last time we went. This time the salmon was burnt and my steak definitely had very dark char marks. On the menu it makes it sound like a topping sauce comes with the steak and then they charge your $4 for it. Also most of the sides cost an upcharge as well. Then, they put the plates tipped on the tray so all the Marsala sauce was on my fettuccine Alfredo instead of the steak. The food is now mediocre and overpriced for the much smaller portions. My son barely ate any of his food and refused to take it home because he didn’t like the spaghetti and meatball. The service used to be 5 star, now it’s less than 2. We were seated promptly and there were maybe 5 other tables. It took us an hour to get our food after we ordered. Also, tables that were seated after us ate first and one that came in at the same time as us were leaving by the time we got our food. This last visit the waitress hid in the back almost the entire time. My water cup (and only drinkwas empty most of my meal and the one time she filled it she only filled it half way. She forgot to put in our appetizer and was had to ask another employee about it. Our waitress then brought out our food, said she forgot to put the appetizer in, and asked if we wanted her to put our food under the warmer while they cooked and brought out our appetizer. Anybody who works in the food industry knows that food placed under the warmer slowly dies and loses its quality. It really upsets our family to see a place we used to love going to go down into the dumpster. We gave it another try after our first bad experience, and this last time was worse than before. Honestly, I’ve had better experiences at Olive Garden and we used to never eat there because this place was so amazing, even if it was more expensive.
Newly remodeled location. Fast seating & service. Standard Italian restaurant food. Great warm bread with seasoned olive oil for dipping. During peak hours check in ahead of time using the Internet and get seated quicker. If you find this review helpful please give it a thumbs up.
Always been a big fan! I love the chicken brian and especially now that its part of a sampler!
A little busy, but the service was amazing. We got the Caprese and Burrata as an appetizer and it was beyond expectations. All of the food was extremely good. Will be going again for sure.
Food was great! Atmosphere was nice and clean and calm. Manager went out of his way to make sure we were checked on often and got ketchup and extra sauce for our child and became friends with him. They were kind and everything was great. Totally recommend and will come back. Definitely better than Olive Garden.
Cesar salad, mashed potatoes, and chicken noodle soup was good. Received the wrong drink, after getting the right drink we were being charged for the wrong one too. Steak was quite over peppered.
This place is honestly comparable to (if not better thanRuth’s Chris steakhouse with how yummy and high quality the food is! The prices are reasonable and every single thing I have tried I have loved. We also had amazing service by our waitress, Gina. She was juggling a lot and still made the time to bring my husband and I a free dessert because we were celebrating his new job. 11/10 would recommend!
Love this place. Almost always great service and not too long of wait. Their bread and oil they serve is yummy, but dont forget to ask for balsamic vinegar 😋. The prickly pear margarita is the bomb 👌.
Their chicken Parmesan is always a favorite. Delicious and plentiful portions of both the salad and main entree.
Was very disappointed with the food. it was after lunch and the food was just dried up like.it been sitting out to long! I wont go back! The prices are not worth the meal! Sad day when you drive out of utah and go to Colorado for good Italian food! 👍
Ive had some good experiences at carrabas during off hours hence the 3 instead of 1 stars. Dont go on Sunday or busy hours. If youre anywhere near the kitchen youll be treated to the boh arguing with the foh for 20+ min before being served a slop of pasta.
Food was okay but not great. Fettuccine Alfredo was a little bit dry and didnt have enough sauce. Lasagna had hard crunchy noodles on the bottom like it had been burnt. And they were out of mozzarella stick appetizers.
Honestly would give this place closer to a 4.3-4.4 if I could. Service was great! Service and food were really fast and even then so our waiter was beating himself up saying they could’ve been faster but in my opinion they were doing amazing. Only thing I would’ve changed if I were the chef is I would’ve liked to have my pasta a lit more Al Dente. That being said it was great all around but for a more traditional Italian standard is could’ve done with a little less cooking.
Good food, capable service, broad menu, and sensible prices. Wine list quite lean, but fairly priced and well matched to Italian inspired fare.
Last night I took my family for dinner. My mothers spaghetti meatballs were dry and flavorless as well as her sauce. My son got grilled shrimp and steamed broccoli, the shrimp was not grilled it was fried and it tasted like rubber balloons, the broccoli looks like it was sitting there for a very long time and there was what I believe to be chunks of garlic sprinkled over his broccoli. My poor husband got the calamari, oh my poor husband, he was very sick after the visit. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes for our 9-month-old, which I tested, I was not impressed apparently neither was she, she gagged. My penne Martino was not pasta and sauce it was a soup the shrimp in the soup was overcooked chewy the whole bowl had no flavor and when I got it, it was cold. We sat and we waited for our orders while we drink our drinks and ate our bread about 45 minutes went past Bread and drinks had already been gone neighbors that came well after us were already eating, we didnt receive refills my husband and son got their food first and finished by the time my mother and I got our food. All the dishes were under luke warm to cold. Very disappointed in this knock off "Italian" grill, there is nothing Italian about it. My father would want to speak to the owner if he had experienced this visit with us. The one star is for the water, my husband and I enjoyed the cup of water, and I guess the noodles were not overdone. If I had the option to not give a star there would not be any stars.
UPDATE!!! I gave them a second chance. I ordered soup to go today. I waited in the pickup spot #1 for 15 minutes. I finally walked into the to go area and asked if my soup was ready. No, it was not. They had not even attempted to fill my order. They were all standing around chatting. It was supposed to be picked up at 1:58. It was now 2:16. They put the soup in the bag along with some oil and spice. I turned around and asked for the bread that usually comes with the soup. (That is why they gave me the oil and spice after all). I was told that they were out of bread. Were they not going to tell me that in the first place. They said I could have a free drink. That doesnt do me any good since I dont drink soda. Why dont you offer to refund the tip I left you for doing nothing or the complete price of my meal. This place has horrible service. They really do not want customers to return or they would train their employees to make sure the customer has a pleasant experience. The service is the worst in the state! I tried to give them another chance. They all just sat around talking instead of filling orders or making the customer experience a priority. Wow! This place is horrible! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Terrible service! Ordered chicken soup online. Husband picked it up and they sent sausage lentil home. When I called them they said , “ Oh we are out of chicken.” No refund, no phone call just charged my card for something I can’t even eat. They didn’t even put bread in the order. They said they tried to call, but that was a lie since my cell phone showed no calls from them. It took almost 40 minutes to get soup that wasn’t even delivered to our car. My husband had to go in to get it and it wasn’t even what we ordered. This used to be our favorite place, but this kind of service it is unacceptable. I paid for something I can’t even eat and then they lie about how they tried to resolve the issue. They didn’t do anything to resolve the issue just take your money and run. Terrific customer service here. TERRIBLE SERVICE!
This started out as a 1-star experience but turned out much better. I placed my order online for carside pickup, arrived a few minutes past the specified time, parked in the carside space, and waited for over 5 minutes before losing patience and going in to the restaurant to pickup the order. The staff seemed a little surprised to see us come in the door (seems they were not paying attention to the carside space). The order was sitting on a shelf, ready to go. Upon reaching our destination, we discovered our drinks were missing (our bad for not checking before leavingand did not have the time or motivation to go back, so I emailed the restaurant about the issue and asked for a credit for our drinks. The manager replied to my email, I called him back and had to leave a message, but he returned my call and was very kind and took care of us. Though the service was initially rough, I felt the manager was very kind and cared about my experience, which makes me want to come back.
The food was alright, the service was alright, I would have liked more time between appetizers salad and entries to enjoy my food
Service was good. Food was lacking. The Alfredo tasted and looked like the smart ones microwave meal. It also tasted like the spaghetti bowl of mayonnaise was unflavored. We won’t come back.
For years this has been a favorite place to dine for a nice evening and good food. We went this past weekend and had such a bad experience I had to leave a review. One of our guests ordered a steak (medium rareand it came cold and uncooked. Not even medium in any way. The steak was tough and did not cut apart. As the waitress (who was greatnoticed the issue and asked about it, she sent the manager to the table. He proceeded to argue with us, say his grill is 600 degrees ( and ‘what should he change it to for us’and basically ignored the raw, fatty, cold steak in front of him. Then he walked away.No apology, no discount, no comped drinks- nothing. He made us feel awful. We will not ever go back to this restaurant again. The dinner was expensive and not near the quality we remembered. Maybe they lost their owners or good chefs during Covid- but I will not ever go back here.
My husband and I had dinner here once and everything was absolutely outstanding! Customer service is the face of most places and your servers are the best, and food is hands down amazing as well.
Eh. Wasnt too wowed with my food.To start off, yall are way too pricey for the average family. It was $50 for two people and we didnt order apps or treats. We were seated pretty quickly after going online, securing a spot and driving 15min + . Has a small waiting area, so a lot of people had to go wait outside in the heat.Bread was nice and warm . And thats kinda where everything went downhill. Our server seemed rushed, didnt catch his name and he never spent more than 30 seconds at our table. My husband order a steak and it ended up being very rare, instead of medium rare. The mashed potatoes also ended making him a bit sick. My Martino penne looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The supposedly creamy sauce was extremely soupy and then there was hardly any. Sausage looked and tasted like hamburger. Wasnt seasoned at all . The penne noodles were cooked well.Next time I want Italian, Ill save some money and gas, stay home and cook or go to Olive Garden and get better service. Sucks we drove out of hometown to get a special meal and ended up wishing we ate at the mall next door .
Five of us. It took about an hour to get our entrées. Salad and appetizers came out AFTER our entrées but only after I asked about them. Our waiter was nice, and kept our drinks full, but service was extremely slow, and prices were extremely high for the experience. Disappointing.
Loved my trio with the marsala steak, Brian chicken and mesaluna! Fantastic!
Pricey, BUT--worth it if youre looking for an excellent food experience--dinner of the best Italian food Ive ever tasted - - and Ive been to Italy! Our waiter was also to notch and because it was my sons graduation celebration he brought us a dessert on the house and I thought that was a really nice touch.
Ate there for the first time on 6/5/2022. We were seated promptly and no complaints on the service in general. But the food was average at best and portions small for the price. Just didnt see the value. But you need to try a restaurant to find out. Some are gems and some are not. This one is not and I wouldnt recommend it and certainly wont be returning. I truly believe this to be a fair and honest review without exaggeration.
So thankful theres a Carrabbas in UT! Drove an hour and a half to get here and it was well worth it.Large portions, fresh food, plenty for leftovers.
So good. The cannoli cake for two was a great way to finish, and the bread dippers was an amazing way to start.
Wonderful fresh Italian food, quality service, coffee machine broken 💔
Carrabbas is always one of our first choices when we think of restaurants where we want to celebrate a special occasion. All of their food is well prepared and tastes amazing. However, their woodfire grill choices are our favorites. My wife loves their grilled chicken...simple but so delicious. I really like their chicken trio, with 3 of their popular woodfire chicken options (all wonderful but the Chicken Bryan is my favorite), or the Johnnys trio, with chicken, steak and pasta. And to start off every meal they provide warm bread and an oh so tasty bread dip (olive oil and seasoningsthat is incredible. Its hard not to fill up on the bread and dip because it is so good. It is a 30+ minute drive for us but worth the trip for sure.
Didnt wow me. I was hoping for more than what they could provide, so that might be just me. I wasnt looking for run of the mill Italian restaurant, and that is how the food and atmosphere was. Olive garden has some competition, but Tuscany does not. The prices also are around the level of the food; the prices were in the menu in this case, yes. Ill swing by when that is the restaurant Im looking for, but not for Valentines...unless the family is in tow.
Its been years! Food is still excellent, atmosphere went down hill. Feels like a cafeteria. Steak marsala
Excellent service! Food was delicious and drinks were really yummy too. We cant say enough about the staff, everyone made us feel like we really mattered. First time here, will definitely be back. The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture..
The food was great and portions were good too. I got an Alfredo which I loved. We also tried a chocolate cake which was had a very nice balance of textures, some soft gooey parts and some crunchy parts too. The chocolate wasnt overly sweet nor did it taste dark either. Also, the bread and balsamic they serve as an appetizer is delicious, ours got to us fresh out of the oven.
Enrique was punctual and kind, and the only server I saw wearing a mask, deserves a raise, hes worth a 5 star and the food is too, the majority of the serving staff not wearing masks is where the star is lost
Carrabbas has well lit, peaceful atmosphere. A handful of proactive servers and hosts to fill a hungry tummy with a glass of fine wine on the side. Carrabbas is perfect for Graduation dinners, Birthdays and Anniversaries. My favorite thing about Carrabbas Italian Grill is the clean and fresh experience within the restaurant as well as the food provided.*Below is an appetizer: Grape Tomatoes drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar, ground pepper, fresh basil, highlighted with a center of Burrata cheese.*
For me personally, this place was just ok. My family and I went around 3pm on a Friday afternoon and didnt have to wait which was nice. The server was nice and he kept checking up on us as well which we were not used to, as most servers weve had at other restaurants dont do that. So the service here was great! However, I didnt really care for the taste of the food. They bring out warm sliced bread and some oil with seasoning that you can dip it in. The bread was bland tasting and the oil was gross to me, but my husband liked it. Our kids just ate the bread. It would be nice if they offered butter or something else with the bread in addition to the oil.The pasta dishes my husband and I ordered came with a side salad. They do not have a house salad, nor do they have ranch dressing, so we went with the caesar salads. Their version of a caesar salad had a bit of spice to it which my daughter and I did not like so we didnt finish it.The Fettuccine Weesie I ordered was ok, but the pasta was stuck together and looked like it had been pre-cooked then placed in a container as the noodles hidden under the toppings were definitely stuck together in a container shape. The alfredo sauce also had some spice and was definitely not like normal alfredo sauce which made me disappointed. I did like how big the shrimp were. My daughter ordered the cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, and my son ordered the penne mac and cheese. They both liked the taste of their food, although their food came out barely even warm. My husband got the Fettuccine Carraba with extra mushrooms and he said it was ok in taste.Overall, this place is ok, but we probably wont be back. We will go somewhere else for our italian fix.
Excellent food with great service. A little pricey, about $16-$25 for an entree. The remodel looks great! It definitely has an “airport bar” vibe in my opinion haha, but it’s modern and very clean! It’s weird cause the menu and food feels “fancier” but the location is pretty casual.Would definitely return.
The food was great. The prices were high though. For a cup of marinara sauce to go with my calamari it was $3. I recommend you try the Ricardo sauce with the calamari. I got an Italian salad with my entree and wasnt impressed, but everything else was great. Unfortunately, because of the prices Id probably make them a once a year kind of visit. But if you want good food, they are a recommendation from me.
They have a lovely sauce with red pepper I think. Just beautiful. Its on the broccoli and the oil for the 🍞.
Went there for my wifes birthday! It was wonderful I got the alfredo with sauteed mushrooms, shrimp and scallions. It was WONDERFUL!! Loved it. She loved her alfredo with chicken, mushrooms and peas. Definitely will be going back. And great service!
📅 Date of Visit: 8/18/2020💬 OVERVIEW - 4.75Came here with some friends for an early dinner. I know currently we are trying to social distant from people in restaurants, but I found that we were closer to the adjacent table than I would like.🗺️ LOCATION - 5Carrabbas has a great location there along the busy University Parkway near the mall.💲 PRICE - 4I found the prices rather comparable to other dine-in businesses in the surrounding area. My dish went for $17.99 which I guess is a bit more than I typically pay for just myself.📱 PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5I got the "new" Chicken Penne Martino, which was delicious, and I enjoyed the mushrooms 🍄 in it as well as the sun-dried tomatoes 🍅 which gave it a zing! It came with my choice of salad 🥗 or soup 🥣, I went with the salad, but it had onions 🧅, which a note for my future self, to request it without onions.📢 POINTERS/PERKS - N/AIm sure there could be some kind of perks or pointers, but being as this was my first time coming here, Im not sure what theyd be.🤵 EMPLOYEES - 5The waiter, I think his name was Enrique, was nice and hospitable. No complaints about his services.
Despite everything going on with the pandemic, they did a great job and everything taste great. Our server Alexis was awesome and very attentive with our requests (my requests for more bread). Flavors were rich and made me wanting more. No complaints
Went on a double date to Carrabbas. The food was exquisite. I 100% recommend the Salmon Z. Super delicious you wont regret it. The only thing I didnt like was the 40 min wait but to be honest it was totally worth it.
I ordered the chicken Bryan. It was the best chicken Ive ever had. Ever. Staff was nice, quick and efficient even on a busy night. The tea was great, the salad was lovely. But that chicken. Damn. I usually avoid eating chicken at restaurants, because often it comes out too dry, etc. This was moist, well seasoned, topped with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Mmm. MMMMMMM.
The service here is always amazing. We got the zucini appitizer, house salad, and some pork chops. The meat was okay, not great and not terrible. Everything else was amazing though.
I love the smell of grilling meat, baking bread, and an honest, glad to see you greeting from the front desk! They have a lentil, Italian soup that I love to the point of trying to replicate at home. The Marsala Sauce, served with steak or chicken is AMAZING ‼️ Like, last meal, delicious ‼️ I also really like the garlic mashed potatoes. Caesar salad-yummy‼️ They hand chop , daily, herbs, spices, and garlic and put it in a bowl with olive oil to dip your hot bread in...its soooo good‼️ The desserts dont disappoint, all are "worth it", even if youre full! Order & share! Carrabbas treats everyone like family ‼️ Come, eat, relax, enjoy‼️✨
