Casapulla's Subs Rehoboth Beach in Sussex County

Never in all my years have I’ve gotten bad food from Shawn. But tonight a Mike guy made our sub it was the worse Sub ever and on top of it they spoiled it by using oil . Next time I’ll make sure we go before they close and Shawn makes our sandwich what a disappointment for a Saturday night sub about 14.00 went in the trash .

We had a large order yesterday for an office birthday luncheon in our office. I called in the order for 18 people. Every order was perfect with no mistakes. Best subs around. The owner even put a whole cheesecake in our bag free of charge. Outstanding service. Outstanding owner. Highly recommend you try them out. We will definitely be using them more in the future.

Hands down one of the best hoagies I’ve had The kids had a pizza steak which was equally amazing highly recommend if looking for a good lunch or dinner spot prices very reasonable

you say the word "sub" and maybe that doesnt light a fire under your shorts, but baby, get the match because these subs are lit! all the flavors meld in your mouth in such a beautiful combination that its hard to believe youre eating a sub and not some divine concoction from the gods. love you, thank you for existing.

Classic sub spot. I really enjoyed it. A little pricey but you get a stuffed sub.

I have been going here for almost 20 years now and its still one of if not the best Italian sub you can get. The "classic" is my favorite for sure.

Casapullas has always been my go-to sub place. The cheese steaks are the best in our area (chicken and ribeyebut their Italian subs have always been my guilty pleasure. My kids love the deli sandwiches too. One of the few Sussex County gems that hasnt really changed since the 80s, and I hope they never do.

Great subs. Quality of ingredients, bread, meat to veggie to bread ratio, great service. Found my sub shop at Rehoboth finally.

They actually charged me for sweet peppers and mushrooms it was $4.00 the sandwich is $14.00 how you going to do your customers wrong like this. Two subs two Drinks and one order of frys $43 and they lost our business, this place is a rip off. I wish you could see the cheesesteak there was literally all condiments you could not taste meat because of it or see the meat I felt like I got a veggi sub. Then $7 for 6 ounce cup of fries that was probably a half of potato. Oh and you can not forget the $4.50 FOr a small fountain drink they cost like 15 cents. I am a local I used to eat here a lot and the changes have ruined it I will never eat here again and I will tell anybody trying to eat here it’s not worth it you’re better off at Wawa

I got a really good salad. Ive had there sub and they r all great. The employees r fast, helpful, and patient.

Love this place! I act like a fool Everytime I go here. They remember their customers and treat them like family... The subs take me back to Brooklyn when I would order a hero( yes, my country friend that is what city folk call a suband just be happy cause the hero was perfect. This place has the best subs. You are encouraged to enjoy, and just so know how delicious their food is .... I was hesitant on doing this review fearing I would not get my order when I go.

Perfect Italian subs (the large is good for two meals), meatball sub, and well-fries onion rings! Fast and delicious.

Tonight I ordered two 12 inch steak and cheese subs with extra steak. I expected to get a cheese steak with ribeye steak as advertised. These very expensive subs ended up being made with steak-um (processedmeat. I called the store to complain and they said this is the steak they always use, which is not true. Weve gotten steak and cheese there that were very good made with ribeye steak. These were supposed to be "Casapulla" subs. My family and I have been buying subs there for 30 plus years. We wont anymore. Buyers beware!

I had the best cheesesteak from here. And I dont like cheesesteaks. The menu states its fresh, sliced ribeye. They were not lying! It was wondering! I will definitely be going back.

This sub place has a lot to offer, my sub was delicious and the service was expeditious, the young man at the counter walked me through my choice . This is not my last time visiting them.Job well done 👏🏽

Ive been going to this location for 20+ years and their Italian sub is the best Ive ever had. I also love their cheese steaks and their lunch specials are great too and a good deal. If you like Italian subs you have to try one from here.

Arrived just before closing and they did not rush us. Always a Great Hoagie and Pizza Steak. Stop in and enjoy!

Was told this is one of the best sub shops in Rehoboth prior to our vacation to Dewey Beach. So my family and I had to try them out. I honestly can say we were not disappointed at all. The subs are great and filled with meat. We will definitely be stopping here again upon our next visit to either Rehoboth or Dewey Beach.

I can always count on getting a delicious meal at Casapullas subs in Rehoboth. They use the freshest ingredients and their bread is fluffy and delicious. Its a great value for the money and we often use them to cater events. Fast and prompt - you cant miss with these guys...

Salad was very disappointing. Chopped iceberg lettuce with a few extremely thin slices of onion and cucumber. 2 thin slices of ham and turkey just rolled up and placed on top. Definitely not worth the price I paid for ot.

Best subs in Sussex County, worth a visit. My favorite is the Italian and the meatball. You cant go wrong here, they have a wide selection.

Absolutely amazing-why didn’t we visit sooner? The Italian was amazing-all of the high quality meats you would expect on an Italian hoagie. No cheap meat here! The rolls were delicious and we will certainly return. Thank you for a great Italian hoagie.

I’ve been coming to Rehoboth Beach since I was a baby. And an age old tradition was always to get our beach sandwiches from Casapullas. Every type of deli sandwich you could desire. Definitely the best cheesesteak around!! Will always love this place!

Ordered a cheesteak. 6 inch. There was next to no meat on it. Mostly roll and cheese. On top of which they charge extra for the cheese. I had heard how great thier cheesesteaks were and wanted to try them out. I am sad to say there are better places in the area to get one at a better price. The place was clean and the service fast and friendly. Maybe you have to try thier other sandwiches as they might be better. I dont know. I just know they shouldnt be making a cheesesteak like that.Very disappointed.

We arrived just 15 minutes before close on 9/11/20 and they acted as if they had all the time in the world of our order. The roast beef was amazingly tender and pink while the seafood salad added to their house salad made the perfect gluten-sensitive option for me. Weve found our new favorite place for our next visit to the beach! We ate outside and they get bonus points to happily letting our younger kids eat the pizza we got for them from a nearby place.

Due to working in the Rehoboth area my boss and I have stopped in 4 times to get subs for lunch. My boss gets meatball subs and I get an Italian. Every single time they have been made by the same very attractive girl(with a mask on...lolwith curly dark hair who today had a black visor and green yoga pants on. She makes the best subs. Everybody there is nice and eager to make customers happy.

Good subs and sandwiches, lots of quality meats, fair prices. Great steak fries. Theyd get 5 stars if they added Coke products and some homemade lemonade or tea.

First time here and takeout subs were exceptional. Old School Italian was amazing. Tuna sub was outstanding. My kids loved their turkey and Italian subs. Old Bay chips hit the spot. I will be a repeat customer.

My friends and I broke down on Rt 1 right outside of their shop. 85 degrees in the hot sun, the staff at Casapulla’s allowed us to wait in their restaurant, in the A/C while AAA came to get us. Their hospitality was 10/10 . All the staff were so accommodating, helpful and kind.(Also their French fries were cooked to perfection lol!

I visited this establishment today with a Wounded Warrior program which takes disabled military members and veterans away for weekends, and away from the hospitals we stay at for long periods of time, to establishments that have an appreciation for the military. The employees were very appreciative, friendly, and supportive. The manager, i believe his name was Mike, was friendly and ensured we received our orders with a smile. The sandwiches we ordered, cheesesteaks, were very good. I would recommend visiting this restaurant and see for yourself how good the food is.

This was my first visit. The dining area seemed clean but I didnt find the staff to be terribly friendly. They werent not friendly either. The atmosphere was what you would expect of a sub shop. We were eating in but our orders were packed and bagged to go. I ordered the cheese steak with white American cheese with just mayonnaise and ketchup and an order of fries. My companion ordered an Italian sub. The rolls were very good and comparable to what you would get at any reputable sub shop in Philly. The Italian sub was packed with meats and toppings and I was told it was very good. As for the fries, they were a fair deal for a little over $5. There were an ample amount of fries and I should mention they were steak-cut fries. This is where the trouble starts. We had intended to share the fries but since everything was bagged to go, we had no plates. I know they would have provided some if we had asked but we chose to just eat them off of the bags our sandwiches came in. They provided self service ketchup and malt vinegar in packets but we couldnt use the vinegar because that would have made a mess. In the end, though, the fries were cooked well and tasted good. The biggest let down was the cheese steak (see pictures). There was very little meat on the small sandwich making the bread-to-meat ratio far too bread-y. Making matters worse, although the meat was good quality, there seemed to be very little seasoning making the sandwich taste, mostly, like bread. The sandwich costed $8.15 but, in my opinion, it was a $6 sandwich at best. Overall, not the best experience and I wont be back. There are far too many better options in the area that offer a better value and an experience that makes you feel that your patronage is appreciated.

Great place for huge subs. There subs are filled with meat and cheese. Made to order. The old Bay frys are amazing as well. The prices arent bad for the size and quality of these subs. Never had a bad experience. Love that place.

Best subs at the beach and better than anything in Jersey. Ive been stopping in here on beach weekends for 20 years and they are always making the best sandwiches. Cheesesteaks, Italians, ham and cheese, you name it, and its good here. Got a steak today and, Surprise! It was amazing. The rolls are out of this world.

Best tasting Subs I have ever had and they definitely do not skimp on the meat. Its worth every penny. I live in New Jersey and actually asked the proprietor if they would open up a store here lol

Best Sandwiches in Delaware. I got a steak sandwich and it was the best I have had, not that I had had many before. Everyone elses subs looked awesome and the bites that were shared tasted even better. Had a group of guys near us while we ate our lunch and they all agreed that Casapullas was the best in the area, to which I couldnt see any point in arguing.

Great food. The Italian is the best. Subway could learn a lesson on how to make really good subs that give you your moneys worth. They stuff their subs to overflowing with fresh ingredients. Try them instead of going to Subway the next time you visit Rehoboth.
