Catfish Heaven in Tuscaloosa County

My work seems be to Alabama alot. This place was recommended by one of the local..and let me say they didnt disappoint. Although Im not a fan of fish fried in corn meal. The fish was absolutely delicious. Even 2 days later...

They make wonderful catfish and other foods. Even have great drinks as well. I’ve come here many times before for my mom and she is always pleased with the way they make the food so good.

Catfish was amazing! 10/10 recommend. We will be back!

Catfish tasted fishy and gave me the runs, I don’t know if it was old or not. wings was ok, but small. The place is Kinda taxey. Not worth the money in my book

Food was good, but it took way longer than promised to get me my food, it was the wrong order (luckily the wings I was brought were delicious but I ordered fired catfish), and closing at 6pm makes it pretty much impossible for me to order from here when I get off work. Not really sure why anyone would close at 6pm tbh.

They never disappoint food wise. Food is always amazing, hot and cooked just right.... I love the wings (all flavorsbut lemon pepper and jalapeno ranch or my top two.... The Hurricane juice washing my meal down nicely

I really want to give a 1 star but trying to be nice but at the time we went the reviews were consistent and at a 4.8. I was very excited to think we would find a hidden gem that we could feature on our new cooking show vlog. Well, if you like frozen fish and fries from a bag then that’s what this is. The fish was dry and the crinkled fries were over cooked. I was expecting fresh fish hand battered and fried and hand cut fries not the normal fast food cheap ones from a processing plant. Huge disappointment here and we realized that the standards for great seafood has become very low in the south. We are not interested in cheap cooking we are looking for really good food and this is not it!

The food was piping hot and delicious. Cant wait to return.

Always close at 6 pm even though. The workers are standing outside in a group of 4 on a Thursday night. This is the third time we have gotten off work thinking we can get food, and the internet says close 6pm, the door says 8pm. And their excuse isn’t even to covid. It is “oh we take the phone off of the hook at 6pm”. Looks like you guys need to tell the public that. Really. And humble yourself. And management, owners or someone need to step in and make it known the correct times. Please and thanks.

Great food for a small place best fish in town, wngs can be better, good deserts and the house made sodas da bomb.

I normally do good when I go there but last two times I got catfish smelled like grease was old and this time I got sick from eating it!! Almost like that burnt popcorn smell but wings were ok..2/15/2022 fish was on point thought I clicked both boxes for half lemon pepper and half jalapeño ranch but ended up with all 50 being jalapeño ranch. Still hit da spot!

Very good, but no sauces and the catfish could of had some more flavor in the batter. I would like to try their wings.

They did a fine job of renovating the restaurant. It is still small however. but you will be covered and waited on. There are TVs all over the place. Some of our young ladies need to smile and show obliging ambiance though. This is the case in many places. Smiling can be contagious.

THE best fried catfish and wings Ive ever had! I dont really even like wings, but their wings are on a whole other level! Love the jalapeño ranch wings. Also get the hurricane drink if you love kool-aid or sweet tarts

The catfish was crispy and well seasoned, the fries were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the outside, that piece of strawberry cake HIT, and the sweet tea (made with her whole heart 🤣 was BANGIN. 10/10 if you’re ever in Tuscaloosa stop by for great food for a great price. They even hooked me up with an extra piece of catfish 🔥🔥🔥

If you want a great meal stop here because you will get one. My wife and son got the catfish dinner and 10 wing meal deal. Let me tell you they were delicious we ate it all.Fantastic crew there also

We had wings Cooked perfectly, with a great Buffalo sauce and a very tasty box of fried catfish. The fries were crispy and sweet tea was delicious.

I love this place. The food is always great, and so are all of my previous experiences. Today, the cashier was wasnt pleasant, and when they brought my order to the truck, I didnt realize until I was miles away, that they didnt give me NOT ONE single condiment. The fish was still delicious though.

Got a catfish plate here. The catfish was fried perfectly, not greasy at all. The fries were just right and the pieces of bread set it off just right. I ate it with out any hot sauce which I typically dont do. Definitely recommend this place!

Very good catfish, pan trout, wings and all sides. Fast and friendly service. Even though I live out in the country and this place is near downtown I will definitely be going back.Their online ordering worked great too, plus they send you a text when they receive your order and a time when it should be ready.They also send you a text and email receipt.

I order food from catfish heaven often and the wings and the catfish specials are both wonderful. I usually call my order in and it’s always ready when I get there. The red velvet cake is good too. I totally would recommend you try them if you haven’t already.

All I can say is delicious, fresh, & affordable food! Good Customer service! I been eating here for years and never been disappointed or had a bad experience! My favorite is the catfish fillet or whole, trout and mild lemon pepper wings!!! The absolutely best hurricane red mixed with pink lemonade, get you a large because I promise you are going to want more!!! Stop by and see for yourself!!!

Best catfish Ive had, seating is a bit limited So you may not want to bring a big group.

It was VERY reasonable for the amount of food that you get. HOWEVER.....the MINIATURE chicken wings......LOL......like CMON!!! Those wings are visual PROOF of WHY chickens DONT fly!!! 😂🤣💯🤷 Just NO!!
