I would like to attend this school for 2 more years

the school is absolutely gross. the food sucks. they dont care about anything you have to say unless your white. they have favorites, and are NEVER fair when it comes minorities. smh, this school is honestly sad. the bathrooms havent been updated in how long? they stink and people smoke weed, juuls, vapes and EVEN DRINK in there.. and THEY DONT DEAL WITH BULLYING, they just let it go. this school is honestly trash.

One of the better schools in Lebanon County but still not that great of a place. This place does not embrace diversity. Alot of faculty here with control issues since they all follow a very harsh germanic style enforcement of rules. You cant breathe without getting a pass and filling out some bs permission slip. Just very bizarre rules to make it very prison like. Lots of favoritism goes on here and overall a very homogenous school in a very homogenous area. Perfect place for sheltered country bumpkins but if you are anything other than that, dont expect to be represented much. Racism is very casual and treated very normally here. The only reason this school toots its own horn as "such a great school" is because its only a few steps above the more run-down garbage city schools in Lebanon. Big fish in small pond syndrome.

This school sucks teachers r horrible and pick favorites. I like my principal for my grade. But other than that the food is gross and its dirty. The wrestling room is tiny. And is humid bc its right next to the pool

Let me paint a picture for you of the Cedar Crest landscape. Every other review on here about the disgusting state of the campus is absolutely correct and without exaggeration. The walls ooze slime, the bathrooms reek and can be smelled throughout the school, mold is everywhere and dust from the probably carcinogenic ceiling tile material floats like clouds in the classrooms.It is one thing if an underfunded school prioritizes its education and teaching resources over its appearance; this I can understand. However, Cedar Crest receives more money than its neighboring schools, yet clearly fails the utilize it efficiently. The administration makes no effort to remedy the crumbling structure or even to acknowledge that there is a problem.To cut back on drug deals and marijuana smoking, the school conjured up a strikingly innovative plan. The administrations brainchild: remove doors from the bathroom stalls to completely eliminate any semblance of student privacy; remove the ceiling so drugs cant be hidden in the tiles; remove privacy protectors from in between urinals even though they are so close together they are literally touching; and appoint a staff member to watch students use the bathroom (remember, no stall doorsat all times.Other reviews acknowledge the yellow water problem. This too is not an exaggeration by any means - in fact, I believe it was downplayed. The concern regarding the fountain was so serious that worried parents arranged to have it tested (the administration exhibited no concern whatsoever, and actively gaslighted the student population into believing there was no discoloration). The results: inconclusive, further tests would have to be issued. These tests were never completed.Crumbling infrastructure aside: most teachers were astoundingly ignorant of the material they were designated to teach. They did indeed choose favorites, just as the administration did. I was lucky to be on the good end of these favorites. AP teachers were usually the exception - most were surprisingly competent. The school also offered a surprising amount of APs for its rural location and income level. These classes were also surprisingly well attended.Next is a rather touchy subject. I am all for the equal treatment and accommodation of students of all intelligence levels. However, presumably due to lack of funding, the school had no place to accommodate the mentally handicapped and those slow at learning. The schools solution was to put these students in a small room at the center of the school, next to a lot of classrooms. These students constantly screamed and made bird noises, and their door was left open so that most of the school could hear this at all times. Oftentimes, they would wander into our rooms and interrupt class, their attendants nowhere to be seen, and would not leave for the rest of the period. I have never been so distracted in my life, and the school needs to stop sweeping these students under the rug and treat them like human beings, and give them a healthy environment in which to learn.All in all, this is still probably the best school in Lebanon county, which is probably the largest contributing factor to its mediocrity. Rather than pushing its students to excel, Cedar Crest is content at remaining status quo.

Absolutely disgustingCeiling is wet and rotting to the point of black mold covered bulges in the ceiling tiles. There are leaks all over the building and instead of fixing the pipes, they switch the ceiling tiles which only lasts for a few days until the water, stains and mold return.The bathrooms reek and the smell often leaks into the hallways. It is obvious that they are not being cleaned regularly/efficiently. One of the worst bathrooms is closest to the cafeteria which puts students in a great mood to eat. Though personally, I have been served expired meat on two occasions and do not recommend anything other than prepackaged food there.The water from sinks AND drinking fountains... yes dRINKING fountains is either yellow or a cloudy white. At one point it looked like yellow Gatorade... Though it always smells unsafe to drink.These issues have been apparent for the entire two years that I have been in this school and so far there seem to be no attempts at fixing the disgusting state this school is in.

Great staff helpful

One of the worst schools Ive ever seen. Over crowded, horrible teachers, and snotty kids. The teachers choose favorites and arent fair to everyone. They dont care about their students and within the first week, there is tons of stress and anxiety. There are tons of cliques and new kids struggle to fit in and make friends. Would never suggest this school to anyone. Not to mention, the bus system is horrible

There are a variety of students and some of the staff are friendly but most have controlling issues and take a lot of things too seriously or dont have their priorities straight.

This is one of the best schools, I am proud to be part of Falcon Nation. Teachers here are absolutely helpful in every way. guidance counselors help you with everything you need. I recommend this school to anyone and everyone. GOOOOOOOO FALCONS!🔵⚪⚫
