disappointed at the food and drinks at this old school cafe. located inside a shopping centre so it does get quite busy.extremely poor value for your money, recommend you elsewhere to avoid disappointment.🍲 : ordered eggs benedict with ham. the eggs were way over cooked and almost feels like a hard boiled egg. the hollandaise sauce just taste like butter and nothing else. chips were stale. one of the worst eggs benedict i have had in years. 😐☕️: ordered soy flat white, came a cappuccino-style coffee with a lot of foam.

Just had had breakfast the most horrible Ive ever come across need to update menu over priced for what you order will not be coming back sorry guys brush up on your skills

It was my first time visiting this cafe.my daughter ordered lemon crepe with ice cream which consisted of 2 thin crepes (size of a large tea saucerfor $11.5. we were stunned by the small portion for such price. I ordered a smash arvo on one slice of toast (not sourdough, Vienna perhapswith a thin layer of smash avo with poached eggs and 3 small squares of hallumi cheese and bacon, cost me $19.8. Im not sure if its the inflation, but did not expect that at all. Anyway, wont go back again.

Always good food and spectacular service. The owner/manager is always attentive to his customers needs, as are his staff. I wish all restaurants and cafes were like that. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Or even just a coffee/tea etc.

I am not from this area, just happened to walk pass it when looking for shop location. Ordered long black coffee take away. Staff was ok.Owner/barista is rude! Coffee tastes burn. Filled 3/4 of the small cup for $4.Save yourself from disappointment - avoid this place.

3.7 - Had an old favourite today - Chicken & Mushroom Crepe ($20.80), Pomegranata Tea ($6.5and have tried the Lamb Shank another day! Visit this cafe if youre craving old fashioned foods like ice-cream spiders, milkshakes, sandwiches and soups, burgers and chips, plus simple dessert crepes with ice cream! A tad on the expensive side! Lots of seating - which is a comfortable hideaway from the rest of the shopping centre.

Loved my bread and butter pudding, it was to die for 😍 my sister loved her basil, mushroom, sun dried tomato and capsicum omelette with fresh chilli 🌶 The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the chef happily caters for your needs. The owners are great and I love the barista, she always greets me by name with a beaming smile 😃 made me a nice oat piccolo with a pretty face ( reckon it looked like me 😉Chantilly’s is a little gem in the shopping centre. It’s my go to place now when I’m in the area. The vanilla slice William recommended was simply divine 🤩 his attention to detail, genuine menu recommendations and exceptional customer service is a breath of fresh air. The little things make for an amazing experience, that’s why Table 4 has become my new favourite place to work, visit and indulge 🥰

A quiet cafe with nice seating and a varied menu, prices are average and coffee was so-so. The eggs on toast were slightly disappointing looking as the plate was a little empty, couldve used a side salad. Large wedges were very impressive, massive serving of crunchy and fresh wedges! Would recommend a bite to eat here.

Chantillys is an institution at Macquarie Centre. Good value and a good menu selection. Still going strong after all these years!

Had a hot chocolate and a new York cheese cake here in the afternoon. Good setting.The staff were a little rude and the waiter was mumbling so I couldnt hear him a few times.

My favourite cafe… the triple stack pancakes are so cheap and delicious, comes with a scoop of icecream. I usually add a serving of bacon and sausages on it. Great customer service as well.

Quality of food is not worth the price you pay. They serve supermarket sandwich bread for toast. Not going back.

Extremely rude and unprofessionalThey yell at us due to having a takeaway coffee while my old dad and mum sitting to rest outside their cafe while we were waiting for coffee to be ready. I did not receive the great customer service I read from the reviews.I know it was busy but I saw waitresses looking at me and well I finally got to order. I was hoping the pancakes with a side of maple syrup will save it all but sadly no. My maple syrup was left out so the customer on the next table had to save me because she saw me still waiting. The three pancakes were not the wow factor so I left disappointed.

Always eat a Chantillys. The staff are always friendly. The food is good and there is plenty of choice. I love the cheese omelette.

Pretty good, classic diner style cafe food in Macquarie Centre but I have to rate 5 for excellent service. Really appreciated the attentiveness of the wait staff and attention to detail.Waiter was efficient with taking my orders. They were busy on a Sunday brunch, saw me looking around and told me it would only be another 3-4 minutes without prompting and when the bread came with butter and I requested for non buttered, they changed it right away, free of charge with apologies. Had a very good experience and would come back for the diverse menu and comfortable seating.

Great old style Cafe. It has an amazing menu in that it is full of choices. All the classic favourites are there. You may not get the fancy or trendy service on wooden boards or schmancy plating, but the food is delicious, the coffee is good (or so the coffee drinkers in the family sayand they have lime milkshakes which make it a quality establishment in my books. Lactose free is available as well. All day breakfast available.Its been a go-to for our family for over 20 years.

Pleasant cafe tucked away on lower level of Macquarie Centre, opposite ANZ bank. The menu is quite extensive and the cafe is very popular. Quality of their meals is very good, would recommend for breakfast or lunch

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years bringing my elderly Mother & others on occasions. The Manager/Owners work alongside their staff when the place gets busy. Once you secure a table a waiter appears promptly to offer you a Menu then returns shortly after to take your order. There are many aspects of this restaurant that has benefits. Apart from prompt service no matter how busy or full they are, the MENU is a WIÑNER. They cater for EVERYONES tastes. You can select simple Scones & Tea with the trimmings, or a Crepe with ice cream. Yummy Garlic Prawns on pasta or rice, a great varièty of Salads e.g Smoked salmon or Caesar salad. A variety of Sandwiches or simply grilled cheese on toast. Wagu beef burgers or chook burgers, Fish & chips, Steak, etc etc AND breakfast ALL DAY which is always a PLUS in my books. Variety of teas & juices or shakes, no alcohol tho. Im not a fan of their COFFEE tho. The flavour is not to my liking. My only criticism. The restaurant cater very well to the Pensioners in the surrounding districts who frequent the place, offering a Pensioner Discount & importantly access for those with aid frames even tables set just outside main area for wheelchair bound patrons. Staff have always been attentive & friendly & appear to have been trained well by Management. Great to go there anytime during day as the WHOLE MENU selection is available without restrictions as imposed by some restaurants. The restaurant can become noisy at times as the layout is not acoustically sound. In saying that, still a great place to go for either a simple snack or a full blown meal. Try CHANTILLY & see for yourselves, Im sure you wont be disappointed. CHEERS!!

Very disappointing. I waited for ten minutes and no waiter even came near me.I went to a different restaurant - The Loft - and was greeted and seated and service was faultless. The crepe was $1 dearer and superb.

Lots of menu items to choose from.My coffee came almost within a minute of ordering which was really fast.Good place for grabbing a bite before shopping

Served me wrong size of coffee, overcharged me, and then made some silly excuse to justify it.Also order small spaghetti bolognese from kids menu. What arrived was quite large, so before touching the food, I asked the waiter if the order was correct, he confirmed it was a small spaghetti even though he made the comment it looked like a large. Guess what, when it came time to pay, it was not a kids small spaghetti.I’m not going to argue with you over a few dollars but the whole experience was quite disappointing

I had a strong large Flat White and Scones for dine in.- The Flat white: if you like the Italian aroma taste you will like this coffee otherwise you will find it too bold. 2/5- The Scones: less than average, not fresh (was heatedthe plate was wet mad the scones become soft from the bottom. The jam and cream is regular nothing special. 1/5- Dine in experience: clean and comfortable tables. Waiters were nice. Waiting time was 3 mins to set, 6 mins to get your coffee, and 17 mins to get the scones (they forget to bring it, i had to remind them). 3/5- Prices: Coffee is average price. Scones was 2 pieces for 6$, i fond this not worthy.- would i comeback: maybe to try something else.

My Wife and I have been eating here mainly for breakfasts on Saturdays but the occasional lunch and the odd business meeting coffee. The place has a wonderful atmosphere and the food and coffee is always on point. There are many staff but the owner is always hands on which is why I think it is such a great experience time and again.

A cafe with welcoming service members and cozy booths. The service team was patient and willing to answer any queries or concerns and made us feel welcomed in the restaurant. We were seated in a timely manner despite it being quite busy on a weekend. The booths we were placed in were clean, especially important during COVID times. The decor produced a quiet ambiance that made us feel at ease whilst my partner and I enjoyed our latte, a creaming soda float and a lemon meringue tart. The latte was to our liking although the float was a little flat - which I didnt mind too much because the ice cream was creamy and smooth. The meringue lemon tart had a generous topping of meringue and was definitely the star of the show. Thank you Chantillys for an enjoyable cafe experience during busy times!

Chantillys is a great place to have a quick snack or a full meal.The menu is extensive and there it lots of variety. I had the lamb shanks and my wife had seafood risotto. Both of which were delicious.

Awful food thats overpriced. Never again.We got the pancakes that were terrible with melting ice cream. I can make better pancakes at home with the ready-made pancake mix. My husbands coffee had rings of soap on it. And mine tasted watered down.We left our table with food and coffee unfinished.

Ordered a ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich. It was probably the worst sandwich I’ve eaten in a decade. The bread was the quality of stale supermarket white bread, inadequately toasted, and the contents were not melted or seasoned in any way. The portion was small and generally unsatisfying.Do yourselves a favour and get a proper bread supplier. Get it fresh. Butter the outside of your bread and toast it properly.

This is my favourite cafe in all of Macquarie Centre. I have been coming here for many years now and will continue to come back for many years more. From their Schnitzels to their Melts to their Chocolate Milkshakes they are all amazing.Not to mention the excellent customer service and friendly treatment by all of their staff always leaves my day a little bit brighter.

I ordered a ~$17 smashed avo from this seemingly popular place at Macquarie Centre, but was quite disappointed. There was barely any avocado, the toast was burnt on its underside and honestly, the picture below speaks a thousand words.

Coffee was fine, but got a large late and it cost $5. Twice Ive been here and the coffee has been alright, defiantly not worth the premium you pay.Further, change the decor, seriously though.It looks like an optical illusion from afar and gives you a head ache when sitting in store.The chandelier also need to change, just rip them down!Its got such great potential!!! Great location and existing customer base

Decent cafe to meet friends for early breakfast or brunch on the weekend. Would recommend a hot beverage and a small meal. The food is nothing special. The booth seating it pretty comfortable for small groups. The seniors like to hang out here, so its great if you do want a quiet gathering.
