Amazing owner and food
Love it always will be back ❤
Very friendly, courteous, generous and attentive.
Very friendly. So far me being from out of town. They are the nicest people I found in the Glennie area.
Small Town old school restaurant. Food was good and so was the service
Great place to eat and great servers
Really good hamburgers fries are good they have good breakfast too
Nice people and always a good breakfast.
Awesome place!! Dying breed of home cooking!!!
The menu items they’re able to pull off with only a microwave and a frying pan is truly astounding. WiFi password is “chattychewchewcashonly”
Great place to stop and get breakfast always stop there on my way through in the morning
Great food, great service and great people. Best breakfast in town!!
Friendly staff. Food fair. Saw some of the food being microwaved. Restrooms unclean and in disrepair.
Food was really good, if the owner would have had working air conditioning Id have given it 5 stars. But it was hotter inside this cute little restaurant than outside.
Love camping up here in the area and breakfast here. Starts my day. Great staff, good food.
Small place with Great food and people.
Been going here for 35 years and its still great
Good food and friendly owner and waitress. Looking forward to next visit
Friendly staff and even friendlier customers. Coffee great.
Found the food to be good and had a good waitress. Good small town restaurant. Would definitely go there again
Love this place. Beth is an excellent cook and the waitresses Ashley and Theresa are awesome. Food is always fantastic.
Good food, not fast service not terrable clean. Really nice people.
*Everything was really good. Although the biscuits and gravy left a lot to be desired*
Always a favorite! Perfect, simple restaurant. Great for breakfast, reasonably priced (less than $30 for three full meals), and everyone is friendly. Its definitely a bit small for the amount of tables, and the restrooms are very tiny 1 stall rooms - difficult to use for anyone who is tall or bigger.
I absolutely love this little place. Every time we come north we stop in! Everything on the menu is amazing!❤
Food was great .. 3 of us had different breakfasts, a western and country omelets, and a special, everything was fresh cooked to order.. well be back for 👍 sure... small town feel.. friendly staff
If there hadnt been hair on my plate and a dirty coffee cup maybe would have been better. Food itself was good.
The best breakfast around, my eggs & bacon & hashbrowns were cooked perfectly! Recommend to everyone!
Good food at reasonable price, friendly staff and the last two pieces of Strawberry pie fresh made was DELICIOUS!!Breakfast and lunch items are delicious and soups & chili are made from scratch
Food was ok but the service sucked! The cook and waitress was to busy talking to there friend to wait and serve us! I came in there to eat, now hear about there pathetic lives! I won’t be back! They only get one star since there is nothing lower!
Great stop - breakfast is my favoriteCountry omelette is highly recommendedStaff and service is amazingGreat menu selection
Very friendly service, the food was fantastic great atmosphere very friendly people definitely a must whenever were in the area
Friendly diner. The decor needs a little help but the cook and wait staff are warm and friendly.
Staff and cook are fantastic. Great family atmosphere. Glad to be a local
Food was Fantastic. Staff is wonderful and owner is Fantastic.
Great breakfast. Reasonable prices. County omelets are excellent.
Great small town breakfast and lunch place. Their wifi always works, just ask for the password.
The breakfast here was amazing. I got the Chat special and it came with hash browns, sausage patties, eggs, and pancakes. The prices were great as well. However, they only accept cash. Otherwise, it’s a cute little hometown diner worth stopping at!
Great breakfast, great prices. We love this place.
Amazing food. Farm fresh eggs. But cash only
Quaint, small, homey, great service, good coffee, good food. We went for breakfast and enjoyed it very much. It is a small diner in a small town. I recommend it.
Great place for a bread pudding desert. Foods good too, quick service, no bull nice place.
Great little home town diner. Stopped in for breakfast on our way home from a fishing trip and was sure glad we did. PLEASE NOTE: THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY
What a place, it is worth the visit for having said you got to experience it.When the waitress brought water to the table in what looked like an old bleach bottle I got nervous. Looking around though I realized that nothing had been cleaned here since the fall of the Berlin wall so I relaxed and looked closer to see our water was being delivered in an old syrup bottle plucked out of the trash and pressed back into service as a water pitcher. The black mold in the non-working bathroom really rounds out the experience takes this place from a roadside mistake to a must see novelty. Speaking of must see novelties dont miss the wolf posters when you visit. 5/5
I am the buddy who was mentioned in the last review and I can confirm that what he said was true. The cheese did come off in a sloppy greasy square. My omelette was an Irish omelette as well but I did not get extra cheese added so Id give it a 420/420 for taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, with numerous paintings of wolves on the walls, I truly felt one with nature. Also they had the smoothest napkin dispensers in all of glennie. Overall rating is an 8/8 mate.
I had the irish omelet their with extra cheese with a buddy and the waitress came out with it and said oops I forgot the extra cheese and less than a minute later there was two craft singles cheese slices thrown on top barely melted I said thank you and tried to keep my self from tears because I was laughing so hard Im still shocked today by the whole experience. I literally just peeled the cheese off with my fork in the same square shape package it was kept in. also i was going to put salt on it but the salt was multi colored white yellow and orange and gave me a sanitary scare... I gave it 5 stars for the effort
On the off chance I am sober, and in Glennie, I have to stop for a north country microwaved steak. Best way to stifle the whiskey river is a slab of grade B beef flank.
You really have to pick your poison while in Glennie, and I dont mean whether you should go somewhere to talk, or go somewhere to eat. Thankfully the Chatn Chew settles that argument. What Im referring to is which method of bar food cookery is less appetizing. Deep fried or microwaved? We all know where the Tavern sides. Had they not invested in that Panini press I swear that even the sandwiches would be thrown into the fryer. I honestly dont know whats riskier, starting a business in a town the size of Glennie, or operating a restaurant with only a microwave. Clearly the proprietor of the Chatn chew fears nothing and no one. Except of course for properly abbreviated words and the black magic that is Visa and MasterCard. Cash only here folks!
Great place to eat, highly recomend if you`re in Glennie.
