China Cafe in Benton County
Privilege
Portions were huge, very authentic menu with a great selection, was ready fast for pickup. Was delicious would eat here all the time when visiting. I stopped and dined this time. Had some Crab Rangoon and General Taos. Enough for a second meal left over.
MoreVery good value. Big portions. Lovely taste. Would go back.
Food was pretty good. Service was slightly lacking but that seems to be everywhere these days
MoreGood food but after 25 minutes I asked about my order and she looked and think she forgot to put order in. People that came in after me already got there food. She quickly grabbed the pad and started typing and 10 min later my food appeared. Didnt get the noodles that is supposed to comes with it nor eating utensils. No apologies or anything.
MoreThey have the BEST crab rangoons, the ones that are sweet are my favorite & I can’t find them anywhere except here!! We also came in a little before closing time & we were still extremely satisfied with our meal & server. I’ve also ordered to-go several times & I’m always happy with pricing and the amount of food I get!
MoreWhoever the owners are need to chill out on the DoorDash people. I was sitting to pick up my food, and the owners were very rude to him for no apparent reason. They forced him to show his phone to make sure the order was actually for him to pick up in a rude manner. Im sure to make sure he wasnt stealing or something. He was also was African American.
MoreHands down the best Chinese take-out Ive ever had. Consistently fresh food!!! 10/10 would recommend.
MoreMy food could have been warmer. Not bad but could have been better. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
MoreThis place used to be awesome. The service has been subpar the last few times. I always feel ignored by the servers. A little mad because everyone got fried noodles and edamame except my family. This happened last time too. Kinda bummed about how this place changed. I originally gave it a five star review, but that has changed.
MoreBest in town I dont eat Chinese food ever but have ate this many times over the last few weeks cant get enough of it.
MoreGot the chicken lo mein and the same but with rice noodles. Both were good. Food was ready when they said it would be.
MoreLove the lunch specials. Entree was served on a compartment tray like we got in school. Weird. Very stingy with the sweet and sour sauce. Overall, good. Will likely go back.
MoreMy husband and I come here pretty routinely when we get a break from work. Their food is perfection. I have yet to have something I disliked. The fried rice is delicious, and the crab ragoons are my favorite. I also recently had surgery on my throat, and their egg drop soup is one of the only reasons I’m not starving. So thank you for providing awesome delicious food!
MoreThis is it!!! Will not go to another Chinese restaurant as long as they are here. Flavor is there where it needs to be. Lunch prices are good! Will keep coming back!
MoreWe LOVE this place. Its the only Chinese restaurant I can eat at without it messing with my blood sugar. Not sure why, maybe less MSG or something? Rangoon is incredible, have them substitute lo mein for rice, its amazing. Portions are so big we always take home enough for a second meal so its a pretty good deal for sure. Dine in for the bigger portions, huge plates.
MoreHair in food. Wrong noodles and the beef was really rubbery. Not going back, too many things always go wrong when we order our food from here.
MoreFood is always great here. Even though today I came in to pick up my food and asked if I could get the egg drop soup with my lunch special and she said I couldnt get my soup with my order bc I didnt mention it over the phone. Mind that I got told a 12-15 minute wait it was 30min before I got my food as well.
MoreMy favorite Chinese restaurant in NWA! Very authentic and tasty. I have always had a great experience!
MoreDelicious, authentic Asian cuisine. The service was efficient and the price was right!
MoreOne of my favorite places to eat! Great food, lots of options!Small restaurant, so fills up quickly.
MoreGreat food! Great prices! Great service!
We were very pleased on our first visit to China Cafe. We both ordered soup, and they were very good and hot. Crunchy noodles and edamame were served with the soup. My husband ordered Szechuan Beef, and I had their House Special Moo Shu. We both enjoyed our dishes. My husbands was spicy but not too spicy for him. He said the beef was tender and tasty. My Moo Shu had great taste and plenty of meat and vegetables. Both entrees were served with rice which had a nice texture. My dish was messy to eat because Ive never rolled the Moo Shu before, so Ill have to check out the best way to do that before we go back. The servings are large, and we had enough left to bring home for another meal. If you havent tried China Cafe before give it a try. The employees are very friendly and efficient. We look forward to another visit soon!
MoreCame in for lunch today and it was delicious. I ordered the roast pork lo mein. It was fresh and fast. Absolutely excellent food and service. Definitely recommend 👌
MoreI really enjoy their scheshuan style food. Peppercorn and spicy! Been eating there since they were in springsale!
Morefood is always good but customer service is horrible. lady at the front desk is clearly never happy to be there, otherwise great establishment.
MoreIm from Houston, Texas and came out in search of some authentic chinese. The crab rangoon was light and crispy and I had the absolute best Mongolian Beef Ive ever put in my mouth. Was in heaven! The best here.
MoreFirst time eating here. It’s Delicious, friendly staff, and has fast service. Definitely will come back.
MoreThe shrimp was raw. This is unacceptable and unsanitary. I was offer a coupon in exchange for potential food poisoning. Get your act together!
MoreThe cream cheese wontons are delicious. The sesame chicken was tough. The portions are really small for the price.
MoreTheir service has gotten worse. The food is still pretty good, but the staff seems annoyed with all customers’ presence. They also don’t offer the little cakes for dessert anymore because, “we have to use our hands to make them.”
MoreGreat quality food and great service. Best sweet/sour chicken and orange chicken in a long time. Hot and sour soup was top notch!
MoreLove their Sichuan menu items!!! Very friendly staff. Hot & Spicy Chicken from the traditional menu hit the apot!
MoreI’ve been here a few times and the wait wasn’t too bad, maybe 10 or so minutes which is understandable. The past 2 times have been pretty bad, I asked for a side of lo mein and they charged me for a full portion of it. The most recent time was when I went there to get food and ended up waiting over 35 minutes for 2 things. I asked again for a side of lo mein so I could have both rice and lo mein but they ended up substituting my rice and as for my girlfriend who got fried rice it is laughable at how it was just white rice with a lot of soy sauce on top. It was very light and very sticky just like white rice. The food got set out for about 5 minutes while all the other waiters were walking right past it without bringing it to us. We had been waiting for about 30 minutes at this time and people that walked in instantly got seated and taken care of which is a good thing if there wasn’t a customer waiting for over 30 minutes already and the food is set out. The food is very good but the service just isn’t there.
MoreI havent been here in about 5 years. It still looks and feels the same, but the service was VERY slow at noon on a weekday. They still serve lunch on trays, and I remember thinking it was off-putting last time, too. But at least I enjoyed my food at that time. The food during my recent visit looked good, but the sesame chicken was not crispy and the eggroll was completely soggy inside, which was gross. I will not be back again.
MoreThis used to be my favorite chinese restaurant. We ate there last month and waited forever for food and they forgot one entree. Thought it was a fluke, tried again, food was HORRIBLE. Very salty, and that was the only flavor. Both of us have been sick all day after eating there. So sad.
MoreTodays experience was extra good. The Latin music goes surprisingly well in the atmosphere. 2 new servers who were on point. The spicy fish in clay pot is always delicious. If you come here order from the Szechuan menu located in the back of the menue. Best Chinese food I have found in NWA.
MoreSaturday night 8 Jan. 2022. Very busy, floor staff seem...."lost". China Cafe has been in business to many years at this location for this lack of organization. As mentioned when we arrived the Cafe was very busy one table was open but had yet to be "bussed" and cleaned. We waited 15min while the waiter ignored us at the door and ignored the open table. I took a bussing kit and cleared the table myself. Now seated we waited another 10min for a drink and appetizer order to be taken. Another 10min for "Luke Warm" egg rolls to arrive. Another 30min of waiting for our order and I left a five for the eggrolls and walked out. Two years ago this was my favorite Chinese restaurant.....I doubt I will ever go back.
MoreOrdered a dish named “cumin lamb chops with potato” but it came without potatoes, disappointing with this $22 takeout meal. the food quality is not as good as before, doesn’t taste like fresh cooked
MoreI had heard that there was authentic Chinese food in Rogers and I had to prove it while visiting Eureka Springs. I drove over to try China Cafe. They greeted me with a basket of "crunchies" that were delicious. The waitress told me that they make their own noodles, but I had already decided on the chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce, and started off with steamed dumplings. Both were delicious and plenty enough for two. It was worth the drive from Eureka Springs!
MoreThis is hands-down the best place to get Chinese cuisine in Northwest Arkansas. The portion sizes are so incredibly big and family style. The food is always hot and delicious. True comfort food right here! The staff is always so kind and accommodating. Some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Phenomenal food, service and quality!
MoreChina Cafe is a quaint, well established restaurant in the Pleasant Crossings area. I had a great first time experience. The service is very good, friendly, courteous and attentive. The staff seems happy and you can tell just from the atmosphere surrounding the restaurant. The food was delicious and surprisingly bountiful. I had the Happy Family dinner plate filled with mixed beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. It tasted great and I had plenty of leftovers for a second meal the next day. Oh and the price is very much affordable. This restaurant seems to be very popular with to go orders, as evidenced by the number of people that picked up food in the 30 minutes I was there. I counted over 15 people. If youre ever in the Lowell or Rogers, AR area (Northwest Arkansas), give China Cafe a try. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant.
MoreNice atmosphere but workers were rude.I got the spicy chicken and it wasnt what i expected. It was like fried chicken nuggets with red pepper flakes on them with peppers and peanuts thrown in. No sauce. Not good. Also, I did not get the crispy noodle or salad of choice options the menu says it comes with.
MoreThis was food was fast and delicious. I really enjoyed the H4. Triple Delight Hunan Style with white rice. The 25. Singapore Rice Noodles was better after I added some soy sauce to it. The spring rolls were crisp and flavorful.
MoreFood is very fresh and tasty. They exceeded my "Chinese restaurant beef test" by having perfectly cooked tender - not chewy or cheap - beef in their dishes. Lunch portions are perfect. Everything Ive had here has been excellent. Great choice for menu-based Chinese food!
MoreI placed an online order over an hour ahead of the pickup time. I arrived at the pickup time only to find out that it was not ready. I placed the order online because I had been driving for some time and wanted to make sure it would be ready when I got there so I could get home at a decent time and eat. 15 minutes later my food finally comes out from a very nice but unapologetic lady. I was hoping the food was going to be worth the wait. I hurried out to my car and quickly opened the bag. Ahhh.... The bitter taste disappointment. The generals chicken was average at best and the rice was bland. A very disappointing experience. Needless to say, I would not recommend ordering online from the China Cafe. I think you would be better off calling your order in over the phone. Their food is usually good, so Im chalking this up to just an off-night (hopefully).
MoreThis place exceeded my expectations. My family and I got the chicken and veggies, chicken lo mein, crab rangoons, and chicken fried rice. We INHALED everything! The restaurant offers complimentary edamame with a spicy mustard-like sauce. Everything was delicious and we will be returning! Along with the food our service was awesome! Ask for Susan! She’s the best! This place is better than shogun, pandas express and Lin’s garden. It’s my new favorite Chinese food spot!
More(3.5When my Spring Rolls arrived I thought I had made a mistake. Two tiny frozen rolls served with sweet & sour out of a jar. Thankfully my main dish the Curry Chicken and Jumbo Shrimp with Coconut Flavors in Clay Pot was much better thou I’m not a fan of the fried rice they served with it. Service was ok if not a bit unrefined. The price for portion and quality was not bad.My disappointment arose again after seeing other reviews that mentioned free appetizers and desserts like Edamame, fried wontons and sauce, fruit and cake for dessert; none were offered on my visit. Another nitpick, the horrible house/EDM music along with useless tv screens killed an otherwise decent atmosphere.Still I look forward to going back to sample more of their extensive menu, the entree menu that is, no more appetizers.
MoreIt was ok... the house fried rice was good. I absolutely hated the sesame chicken and egg rolls. The sesame chicken tasted weird, it was not the traditional sauce. I think it maybe made with siracha sauce and I hate siracha sauce. The egg rolls were different than what I’m used too. The staff was friendly... however when I came the whole staff was having lunch, which didn’t bother. What did bother me is I waited awhile for my check because my waitress was eating... I was a little annoyed because I was ready to leave and I had to wait for her to finish eating.
MoreThis is a nice little spot to go to. Their spring rolls were pretty good. Their main food was even better! Super tasty and was plenty of food!!!! Had lots to take home. Their free little desserts they bring out are super tasty as well!!
MoreIt was a great atmosphere, wait staff was perfect. The lunch special comes on cafeteria trays and thats okay, but I honestly dont eat salad and just wanted the noodles. I didnt need all the extra stuff. And I got less noodles with the lunch special, Id of rather just gotten the entree and no salad or egg rolls.
