The staff at Christy Sports are extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. Cam helped me with a snowboard repair for a broken binding and a wax/tune up. He spent the time to make sure all the screws were fitted correctly and the settings were done right. They also had a quick turnaround for the repair and they are very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone!

I brought my daughter in get her fitted for a ski rental. They measured her and got all the equipment sized. They told me they would set the equipment aside with her name so we could pick it up tomorrow otherwise they would have to charge me for today’s rental. They told me to just swing in tomorrow and pick it up. I showed up and stood in line waiting for everyone in front of me to get sized. I spook to three different people and told them the equipment was on hold and I just needed to pay. They told me I still had to wait in the same line. 90 minutes later I finally got to pay for my daughters equipment. What a waste of my time to have to wait that long to just pick up equipment that had already been sized. Go elsewhere…. do not waste your time. If they had told me the day before that I was going to have to wait that long I would have just paid for the unused day.

I was very happy with the customer service here. Especially from Cam. He was able to fix my snowboard boot clip and teach me how to fix it for next time! I will definitely be back if I have any winter sport issues!

What a disappointment. Drove from out of town and was basically ignored. I guess they were packing up boots and skies to move them to another location. Couldnt be bothered with helping me. If you arent planning on helping customers or selling anything maybe you should just close for day.

I took my skis in to Christie and they put a 1 degree x 1 degree bevel on my edge. Not super fun to ski on skis that engage the edge all the time. Also, I took my skis to another shop in town and they warned me that the base is getting pretty thin. I can only attribute it to the times that I have had my skis tuned at Christie (only place I took them prior to the local shop). My skis have only been skied on 7 days total. I will be taking my skis elsewhere now because the lifespan of my skis has been shortened.

The team here is always so helpful! I got all three kids hooked up with a basic ski package here. It was so convenient before we hit the slopes the next day

Every time I come in and Cam is there, I feel taken care of! Makes me feel like less of an old head and keeps me excited to snowboard. Even hooked me up with some old binding plates that I couldnt find online, right in time for a trip. Cheers Cam!

The customer service could not possibly have been better. We were directed to the warmest gloves they carry and with great knowledge of the kinds of gloves they have and with compassion for keeping us warm. Great store … Great service.

Ive received great service in the past and the customer service has only improved from there. They greet you with a friendly face and it shows they put the customers first. Troy was quick to identify my needs and offer intellectual solutions, including some helpful alternatives, to guide me down the right path. I was in and out quick, problem solved. Check them out!

Great customer service. I stopped in to see if they could replace a missing mounting nut/bolt on my daughters snowboard. Even though it was a busy day, Cam promised to take a look and have an answer (hopefully fixedby the end of the day. As promised, I got a call a few hours later telling me that they found the parts and had it fixed.

The atmosphere of the shop was awesome all the employees are helpful and excited to be there. Tom was by far the best and most knowledgeable employee I met there and had excellent customer service. Tom helped me to get some boots and was the best bootfitter I have ever had and I have been skiing since I was 2. Tom was extremely knowledgeable about all of your products and helpful when it comes to getting you the gear you need. I will definitely be coming back due to how friendly and excited Tom was to help me out, he just helped to make it a great atmosphere and an enjoyable time.

Every time I have been here I have had the best service and been super pleased with the results. Cam the snowboard tech was super knowledgeable and excited to help and talk about snowboarding. 10/10 experience.

Mitch who works in the snowboard sales area helped us to get back into some rad boards, boots and bindings. He was incredibly knowledgable and a well seasoned guide for the entire process. Yall should give that dude (Mitcha raise for the VIP experience.

The customer service here is top notch. You do need to watch for sales and use coupons to get good prices, but I bought my ski boots and poles from Christy this year and they have been awesome. I feel like they really do take care of their customers both before and after the sale. We have also done daily and seasonal ski rentals here for years and it has always gone very smoothly. Finally, since they have locations near many ski resorts, you can always stop in at one of their other stores if you have any issues with your equipment.

Terrible customer service and coordination. The wax and edges were over priced for doing an absolutely terrible job and scratching my board as shown in the picture. I also had to ASK to have it cleaned off before I took it home as it was dirty… just terrible do not waste your time or money.

Tom was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable and patient. He stayed after hours to fit our boots and entertained us with his unique sense of humor and stories of his life. He is the perfect example of what customer service should be but rarely is these days.

Cam. I will always go to Christy Sports for any needed equipment and tune up services because of him! He was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about his products and took his time to make sure I knew exactly what I was buying and the benefits to the product as well as pros and cons of everything else in between. He kept me within my budget and was able to send me on my way with my dream snowboard. Very professional and fun to work with. So thankful and stoked! It’s was also decently busy and he still had outstanding customer service. May not ever buy ski/snowboard equipment anywhere else as I so highly recommend this place. Ask for Cam, he is AWESOME. First time buying skis and ski boots. Davis helped me on my first visit. He educated me on the various types of skis, he took the time to understand my skiing experience, and he patiently answered all of my questions. Bought the skis and boots that visit but ran short on time to have my boots custom fit. When I visited the next trip, Thomas picked up right where Davis left off. Thomas was just as knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing staff!! Amazing selection!! Great prices too!! I could not be happier with my skis and boots.

My wife and I both bought ski boots and had them fitted from this store over the past couple months. My wife bought my pair as a gift, and Terry was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping her pick out a pair of boots for me. She later purchased a pair for herself from another Christy sports store, and after wearing them around the house a bit, they didnt feel right, so we brought them back here. We worked with Tom getting her set up with a different pair of boots, and getting them fit to her foot. Her feet can be sensitive, but after about two hours of working with us and fine tuning the boots, Tom was able to meticulously make one small adjustment after another in the shell and liner of the boot to get a good fit. After skiing in the boots, shes very happy and comfortable in them! First day out, my boots were a little uncomfortable, but I was able to come back, and Tom and Davis did an excellent job adjusting my boots to make them fit comfortably. Im super impressed with these guys. They definitely put a lot of passion and knowledge into the boot fitting process, and we never felt rushed. If one toe was a little smashed in the boot, they were happy to make one adjustment after another until the fit was perfect. Ive always bought used boots in the past, but this experience really helped me to appreciate the value of working with a good boot fitter. Huge thanks to Terry, Tom, and Davis! Really appreciate all of your work!

Hunter in the shop was able to mount a binding for me that Christy doesnt carry/doesnt have a jig for. The work was outstanding, the price was reasonable and no one else in town that I contacted would even do the job. To be fair to On The Edge, I didnt call them. But I did call everyone else and they turned me away, while Christy said "no problem" and set me up! Psyched. Oh and Ill add that they were able to turn it around faster than expected, even just before Thanksgiving. Of course that depends on volume, but that was my experience!

We had a great experience here! Collin helped my wife get fitted into some new boots and also helped relieve a pressure spot in my current boots that had been bothering me for some time. They also had my skis tuned up and back to me really quickly. Great service!

Bought a brand new Super 8 board a couple months from here and it worked awesome! No problems until one day before going to Steamboat, the board cracked right on a manufacturer seam. As soon as I got back to Fort Collins, I took it to Christys thinking I was gonna have to explain what had happened and go through a long, arduous process of trying to get it fixed or replaced. Tom, the manager, saw the board and immediately got the process rolling. No questions, no hassles. Just got my name and number and began righting the situation. Not only did he take care of the replacement without bothering me, he hooked me up with a demo board to ride until the board was shipped. After finding out that Salomon was going to ship me the new model in the fall, he offered to let me take the demo for the rest of this season, but if I wanted to try any other board, I could come in and just swap it. The staff at Christys is amazing, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable about their products. Thank you Tom and Cam for making my buying experience easy, even when the equipment hit a few snags. You both deserve raises and a few extra days off to go skiing! Thanks again!

Great place to rent a board! Congress with helmet, boots, bindings and they dont gouge you or charge extra days. Staff was very helpful, and friendly. My friends rented from Scheels and were stressing to get their boards back by the deadline. So sad. Skip the hassle, go with Christy! A local outfit with a track record of great service! I know I will.

I went last year and bought a new snowboard bindings and boots great service awesome stuff all the best stuff. Lost my snowboarding boots went back same guy helped me great guy really appreciate the service I’ll always shop here for my boarding stuff. Appreciate the great customer service and the help.

Christy’s in Fort Collins always has top notch customer service. All the employees are knowledgable, patient, and are very eager to assist you with whatever your needs. I use Christy’s to rent my ski equipment because they have great gear for rentals, but mainly because the staff treats me like an old friend and make me want them to have my business. I would highly recommend this location in Fort Collins at College and Horsetooth to any and everyone.

We were super thankful for a great boot fitting experience for our backcountry ski boots! Friendly, helpful, etc! :(We might come back in for some more fine tuning in certain spots on our AT boots though...)

So THE most difficult thing to buy and get a great fit and function is ski boots. The other day my 18 year old son and I went to Christy Sports in Fort Collins to buy the dreaded ski boots. We were immensely fortunate to be waited on by Terry. Terry really knows his ski boots, and proceeded in a very logical, careful, thoughtful way to fit my son with boots. I really appreciated that he focused exclusively on working with us, and explained the reasoning behind each step he was taking to help us find the perfect boots. After trying on maybe 5 pairs or so, Terry proceeded to focus on fine-tuning the boots with the custom inserts ( extra cost but soooo worth it!), heated and shaped the soft inner liners, and even modified the hard outer shell a bit in order to get a perfect custom fitted boot for my son. I cannot tell you how pleased my son is with the boots and the exemplary service Terry gave us that afternoon.

I did a snowboard rental, the staff walked me through the different options, and hooked it up with a pretty dope board. Kind enough to waive any fee after I returned the board late due to conflicting hours with my job. I was literally ready to pay and they just thanked me and said not to worry about it..Just topped off the entire experience, highly recommended!

Had an awesome experience today. They were EXTREMELY patient with me. I tried at least 7 different pairs of boots - this along with looking up other options that they could special order for me.I was really timid about stepping into a store because I knew I have a difficult need to fill (size, stiffness of boot, fitbut the guys at the store never missed a beat and helped me find the perfect fit!Just honestly the best customer service. We went to Christy Sports last night to get our seasonal ski and snowboard rentals. Tom (managerand his team and were super helpful in getting our gear right-sized and adjusted for each of our family members. They were friendly, professional and efficient. They gave us a competitive price for being returning customers, matching the online seasonal rental price - told us to come back if we experienced any issues, needed adjustments. I came into Christy Sports a few weeks ago looking for patio furniture and was helped by both Karen and Zach the store manager, both were incredibly kind and helpful. They even surprised us with a housewarming present when our patio furniture arrived! Great customer service and patio furniture selection. They are also the best place in town for ski gear in the area.

Service at Christy’s was friendly and fast. The young man helping us was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable! This is our first time renting from Christy’s and the price was a little shocking, but the quality of their equipment was much better than what we might have gotten at the resort rental shop. Also, they do season long rentals, which I know many families that do the seasonal rentals and Love it!

I appreciate the ability to either walk in or pre-reserve online for ski rental which gives a discount and makes the pick up process quicker.The first time I rented as a walk in, there was a big group and I had to try multiple boots (the agent seemed not to believe me that the boots literally would not go on - I have wide feet). The second time the employees were excellent at getting us boots that fit.Equipment worked fine.It would be great if they had a wagon or something to help carry equipment, you cant park super close and then you have to walk to the back of the store, and I had to carry a lot for our whole family since the store doesnt open until 10 am. However the staff helped me carry in the equipment and the return process was easy.

We went to Christys looking for new ski boots. Kevin was very helpful and attentive and extremely friendly. We found him to be very knowledgeable and comfortable fitting us with the proper boots we needed.We went back the next Friday night and had Matt custom fit our boots. He was very patient and did an awesome job relieving the trouble spots like the bursitis in my right foot. He was able to easily identify the problem areas and quickly heat them up and form them so they fit my poor feet perfectly.Matt also helped us in purchasing new poles. He was very patient with us and made sure we all had the right length.They put new binding on my sons skis while we were waiting and waxed the skis at no charge without us even asking. I am very happy with the new bindings.Karen was super friendly while helping us find new mittens and face cover for my wife.My wife and I also rented skis from the premium line and found them to be excellent quality and in great shape. I didnt catch the guys name that was doing the rentals but he was on the ball. He hustled around getting our stuff not wasting any time.They made sure to adjust the bindings for us for our boots. I really like the fact that I can pick them up the day before the trip , ski the following day and then return them the day after. It makes it very convenient and I am essentially getting a 3 day rental.I took the time to be very specific in my review because I am so happy with every aspect of my shopping visits to Christys. A great place for the beginner to gain knowledge and not be made to feel like an idiot. great place for the advanced to find high quality gear.I found the prices to be very competitive and then with the coupons offered, the prices were great.I highly recommend doing your snow sports shopping at Christys Sports in Fort Collins. And be sure to ask for Kevin, Matt or Karen as they were all 3 very personable and extremely helpful.

The rental equipment is total junk here. I reserved season rentals because my own gear is getting rather old. I paid extra for the "premium package" thinking that Id get relatively recent stuff. When trying on boots, I had to go through 4 different pairs to find boots that werent broken. Every pair I tried on had a strap or a clip or something else that was broken. Then they brought out the skis. Im pretty sure theyre older than the 16 yr old kid who was fitting them. Definitely not a recent years model by any stretch. When I saw how bad the equipment all was, I tried to back out and say I didnt want to rent from them anymore. I was informed that because Id made a reservation, and hadnt canceled at least 24 hours in advance, I would not get a refund. The gear here might be ok for a beginner who just needs something functional to learn on, but if youre an experienced skier or snowboarder, and you want some good rentals for the season, avoid this place at all costs, and do not pay extra for their "premium" garbage.Update: Zach reached out, and I was able to go back in and exchange my gear for some better stuff. Turns out that they actually do have some decent gear here. Still, I had to make a complaint in a very public way to get it. Props to the management for trying to make it right, but it shouldnt have happened in the first place. I think the takeaway is that if they offer you gear youre not happy with, dont leave until they give you something better.

I recently was fitted for new downhill ski boots and the customer service was great! Sean is very knowledgeable about the products and knows how to help you narrow down the selection to get the perfect fit. It takes a while to go through the whole process, but well worth the investment in time. I appreciated someone taking time to help me get the perfect fit, plus match my budget and style. I have always used Christy Sports as my go to location for ski equipment and this recent experience will keep me coming back.

Was truly blown away by the customer service I received from Cam at the Fort Collins location. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helped me find the perfect pair of snowboarding boots. They didnt have my exact size in stock, but went way above and beyond to get them shipped in within a week, even during the holiday season. Thanks for creating a customer for life Cam!!

I rented skis, boots, and helmets for a four day trip to Steamboat for myself and my two boys, ages 10 and 12. The experience was fantastic; the equipment fit well and was in great shape, and the staff members who helped us were personable and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. Hayden, especially, was very kind and professional throughout our visit. We will definitely plan our next rental through this store.
