The seats are much cheaper AND recline. Honestly comfy while watching movies, the leg space is incredible!
This is one of the best places to see movies, all the seats are reclining. Because of that I always check to see if the movie I want to see is playing here first. Sound is also good too!
Love the seats and my feet didnt stick to the floor! Always a bonus!
i am in DISBELIEF that i just spent $5.70 on a large water. WATER ?!?!?!?!?! that this establishment probably spent 10 cents on. i will NEVER come back to this movie theater in my life, and that’s sad considering fact that i live very close and love going to the movie. this place is a absolute RIP OFF. i will gladly take my business elsewhere.
Love this theater. Clean and it is not so cold your nose gets drippy:). We laugh every time because the seats almost, almost recline enough. I do run the risk of falling asleep if I get too comfy so I see the method behind almost reclining enough;Who wants to wake up a line of sleeping patrons...not I!
Love this theater great seating and clean Bathrooms plus their popcorn is amazing and delicious not horrible priced but still theater pricing. Lol they do have a fun arcade there as well and everything is about a dollar for the games.
Clean. Affordable. Seats comfy and recline
Prices are not reasonable spent over 150 for 4 people to get tickets and a drink and popcorn. I’ll stick to Netflix and the dollar store.
Love going to the movies at Cinemark Tinseltow. Very nice and comfortable seat. The reclining seats are just as it should be, super comfortable. Love the movie theater very beautiful theater.
The cute lady at the front ticket desk is amazing!!! She is why we returned tonight and why I signed up for the movie club! I believe her name is Susan! She is so guest friendly and so knowledgeable about the app! She is a definite asset to your team!
My favorite place to go watch movies! Always clean! Nice staff! Great comfortable seats!
Not the best theater. The staff was huge but most were just standing around. We went to a 4pm show and the consessions stand had one person actually doing orders while 4 others just stood around behind the counter. They were out of nearly everything from nachos to slushies to hot dogs. No signs to let us know prior to ordering. The girl actually working was possibly tired, but very unfriendly. And there was another line of 5 employees with purple just standing around in the hall. The theater itself had nice seating and good sound. It was sad how dead the place was with more employees than customers. On leaving the theater the strange line of employees just stood staring at us....we left nothing to clean up. It was a bit disconcerting. I wont return to this particular theater. The location inside the mall was not very convenient and the poor staff made it unattractive for future shows.
Great place to watch a movie with clean and comfortable seats. The good looking boys working in concessions must be the selling point as it is very pricey. (Btw Finley, my daughter wants your number.Good Popcorn, but due to no refills and slightly pricey concessions, I give this 4 stars.
Very nice, clean theaters, staff was friendly, easy to purchase tickets online, could choose your seats when you purchased your tickets online.
Everything was very clean including the restrooms. The Stadium reclining seats was really nice. Good sound and picture quality in the theater.
I LOVE THIS THEATER! Discount Tuesdays are amazing, the seats are comfy, and its always clean. Best theater in the Ogden area, hands down.
This is my first time going to the movies since covid I had a great experience Ill certainly be going back.
Great movie. Tom Hanks was perfect as Col Parker. Played him so well.
Hard to take a family to see a kids movie. They won’t allow diaper bags because of “fear of alcohol”. But when I removed the diapers from the diaper bag they had a problem with bringing “any outside items” into the theater. On top of that they didn’t have butter but still charge the same prices for popcorn. Cracks me up.You’re better going to a megaplex or walker cinema. They’re more family friendly. Probably won’t be back at least until my kids are adults or teenagers. But I doubt they’ll survive the mall closers before that time
Wish i could give it less stars but If any of yall go to the Cinemark in the Newgate Mall aka Tinseltown 14 be VERY careful with you belongings. I went and saw Black Phone and left my wallet in the theatre on accident and when I retirieved it $100 was stolen from inside. It coyldnt have fallen out because the pocket was secured inside where it latches and the bills were folded bigger than the latch.Thw two who cleaned the theatre told me to my face they didnt take it and we turned up the seats looking for it. But liar and thieves will be liars and thieves. The two who cleaned rhe thwatre were a blonde white woman with glasses name Sabrina McCombs and a hispanic(I thinkman named Adam (i think and i didnt see his name tag for last name). The man turned out his wallet to prove he didnt steal it while Sabrina said nothing to me other than telling the woman who called them over that she didnt find anything.I can tell you I was in theatre 2 for the 11:05 showing for blackphone sitting in seat D9 and i had 1-2 20s and the rest of in tens to man a total of $100. Wish I had serial numbers so i could have made them turn out their pockets but just as a warning this Cinemark employs liars and thieves.
I have been going to this theater for years and have spent alot of money. Today I took my Granddaughter to see a movie. We bought a large popcorn, 2 large drinks and 3 different candies. Spent 60.00 in total. I asked for extra butter on my Large popcorn and the girl at the counter hesitated and had the nerve to tell me that they are having a butter shortage so she isnt suppose to, but will give me a little more this time. AMC in Layton does not seem to have a butter shortage so I will go there from now on. Ridiculous!
Went here to see the new Top Gun Maverick movie. Love how all the seats were the luxury type and you didnt feel like you were on top of each other. I dont know what its called but everything kind of vibrated and stuff when the Jets were accelerating. Made you feel like you were right there. Will definitely come back again.
Movies are pricey, they just are. Concessions are pricey, the just are. So that in mind know that the theater experience has changed. Electric recliners with great armrests and places for everything. The audience is cut by 2/3s and all this makes all the prices worth while. Youre buying the experience and if you pick a film you love, good times await you. Cinemark has made going to the movies fun again. Oh yeah, they deliver to your seat now.
I always get fast and kind service. Theres an arcade attached to the theater, mostly new styled arcade games. All of the theater seats recline and are cushioned, great to sit in for hours at a time. Theres always a couple wheelchair accessible seating in each theater as well. Worth the money, my favorite theater in Ogden.
Great theater with excellent seating, plenty of space and friendly employees. I took the bosses grandsons to see The Batman and it was a really cool time. Immersive sound and screens.
Wow, first show of the day today and the theater is filthy. Floors unswept and seats with food on them. Does no one check before allowing customers into the theater?Daughter had to ask for someone to remove old popcorn and drink containers from our seats.I havent come to this theater in years and thought I would give another chance. Not impressed.
The theater is great less seats so all have recliners and a wonderful rewards program
Cinemark Tinseltown 14 in the Newgate Mall is my favorite theater locally. All of the seating is recliners, which is one of the best evolutions of movie theaters to date. My only complaint would be that the seats dont recline quite enough. Beyond that, the theater is always clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Tinseltown over the other theaters.
Luxury loungers are super comfortable, sound system is fantastic and well balanced, and the customer service from everyone from the ticket seller to the concessions to the ushers was just absolutely top notch. Fantastic experience.
A very large theatre screen and recliner seats were awesome. They also deliver food to the seating area before the movie which was awesome.Loved it!
The chairs are always clean and comfy. The reclining is amazing and they dont crush them into little spaces. Its an excellent price for what you get.
This is a great theater in a good location. Its massive on the inside and its always clean. The seats are comfortable, the staff is usually nice. Concessions is also usually quick. This is my go-to for movies.
This place is average priced and well maintained. Theres no rips or marks on the screens cause thats the worst! The seats are new and comfy and they recline. The food is good and the lines go fast. No complaints!
Mr.Fullmer was very kind and helpful after providing me excellent service at the concession stand, he was able to help me further when I asked, I was having issues finding my theater and seat, he took the time to walk me to my seat, I greatly appreciated his kindness as well as his time and help. Definitely will return to this location.
Clean, comfy, theater. Recommend buying tickets ahead of time. Wasnt too busy for a Friday night and opening for Doctor strange.
Since they changed the seating to recliners a few years ago Ive been going there more. Way more comfortable, more space. I love their $5 Tuesdays!
Great customer service. Theater was clean, had good spacing between chairs, chairs recline which was really nice and people still had room to walk by without hitting your feet. The only thing is the drinks and food are a little costly if you dont have a membership which will give you good deals on food drinks and movie tickets. So check it out! Great experience!
The movies are good, the seating is good but the food is not. The popcorn tastes like Styrofoam and grease, the chicken nuggets are worse than dog food. Provide some decent food and people will stop sneaking it in.
Took my 3 grandkids, since they were on spring break. It is always nice to spend time together and make memories. Place was clean and staff was very polite. Kids loved watching Batman too
I LOVE THE SEATS in the theaters now a days. Went and saw Uncharted with my husband, daughter and mother-in-law. The only bummer was that the ONLY seats available were in front. We were about to pay for 4 tickets but someone online had barley beaten us to those 4 seats together. I think that if a Customer Service Agent is clicking on the seats then the people in the line should have first pick of seats...so we had to sit 2 and 2. Luckily only a few seats in between us;
A well maintained theater with comfortable seats. The sound was set too high for me, but a little cotton in the ears fixed that. I was greatful they offered a senior discount, but the price was still a little more than we pay at the cinima near our home, thus the rating of 4 and not 5 stars.
Went to the early show. 6.50 per seat. Selection was decent, especially for a newer movie. Short wait for concessions. Fresh popcorn & yummy hot dog. Employees nice & dressed clean & tidy.
Awesome Movie Theater!! Fun Time to Take the Family Out!! Love the Comfy Reclining Seats!! I Do not Recommend The Pizza. It was Not Very Tasty. Also Over Priced. The Popcorn Was Super Fresh and Very Tasty!!Saw Scream Today... Loved It!! I love That I could Reserve Our Seats the Day before Online. Awesome Seats and We had the Whole Row to Us!!
The issues from the pandemic had made the movie experience not so ideal. I went to see Spider-Man No Way Home. The reclining seats are weird, but even the back row had some space to recline. The bathrooms were a little dirty. The sound and visual systems during the showing added to greater immersion with the story.
Great place for films. Nice screens. Inside a decent mall. Good sound and reclining chairs make this theater a must in Ogden!
Mitch was genuinely the nicest theater employee Ive ever met. Most of the time it feels like theater employees just want us gone (which, fair, dealing with people is annoying), but Mitch was kind and patient while I tried to figure out what to eat. the vibe was immaculate 🤠
I was excited about the comfortable seating, but both my chair and my girlfriends chair wouldnt recline at all. Button did nothing. The theater was full so moving wasnt an option either. We stayed for the movie, but after 3 hours of sitting up straight as a board, I left with a pretty sore neck.
Love this cinema. Great location, plenty of parking and you can grab a bite to eat before or after in the food court.Took my two teens and reserved seats online, then scanned the barcode from my phone. There’s a small arcade in the entrance which is fun for the little ones (and big ones :Extremely clean, spacious with great decor. As always, the drinks and other concessions are well overpriced- $5 for a soda 🤔 BYO drinks and treats … sorry Cinemarkbut defo get the popcorn 🍿 The seats are luxury recliners which stretch all the way out so if you’re a bit tired, you might doze off, they’re that comfy! We went on a Sunday and we virtually had the place to ourselves. I’m sure Fri and Sat nights are buzzing but I like the chill, quiet Sunday vibe. The biggest draw is easy access with loads of parking outside the mall (park on the SW or SE end for easy access). The mall itself is fairly basic although the food court is alright (Pretzel-maker, the Chinese and Greek place is good). There’s a few decent stores although footlocker has been quite disappointing lately. I’ll do a separate review on the mall sometime : I’d give this an absolute 10/10, but Cinemark, please reduce your concession prices - they cost more than the movie tickets. We’ll be back soon!
Come mark is a great theater. Price was surprisingly good, and the seats are incredibly comfortable... reclining with foot lift. The movie (Venomplayed with no issues, and the digital screen was crystal clear. The lobby and restrooms were clean as well.
this place is a pretty rocking theater. East to sneak into and great Service if you decide to pay.
