Finding a new hairstylist after I moved from California was a challenge. I set out to find someone that could help me continue to rock my edgy, shorter hair cut while managing the grey that has been taking up permanent residence on my head. Claudette was the women who rose to the challenge and killed it the first time we met. Love my new blonde! I had been growing out my natural gray (white, gray, salt & pepper), but decided I couldnt handle it any longer. Not for me. Im middle aged, have shoulder length hair. Claudette highlighted beautiful platinum blonde and low lights in a way that as my gray roots grow in, it wont be shockingly noticeable. Her experience shouts volumes and she is an expert. It’s been about 7 years since I’ve loved my hair. And I have great hair LOL!….however, I was struggling to find the right stylist.I moved to UT 6 months ago and began the search for a stylist here. Claudette is a mad genius with hair. If there was a PhD in hair Claudette would have it. She is passionate about her work. I could feel that she loves what she does, which reflected in the outcome of my hair. I have had my hair done in varying salons for 10 years and have never left feeling absolutely in love with my hair. This is the first time I have left feeling ecstatic with the results in every aspect cut, color, and blend.I came to Claudette needing color correction from stripy, brassy blonde.  The color I left the salon with was a beautiful blended balayage with beige/cool toned blonde. She hand painted the balayage which I believe made all the difference in the world in regards to perfect blend. The cut she did on my hair gave me so much movement and body.The salon itself is a nice facility. It has a calm and very personal vibe to it. I have found my holy grail salon and stylist. Claudette is wonderful and really knows what she is doing. I really liked how I gave her an idea of what I wanted but she also took it in a wonderful direction. Will be def be going to her for my color going forward.

I agree with the previous reviewer who said Claudette is the best stylist and colorist in Portland. My hair has never looked better and people regularly ask me for her info. She is able to think two cuts ahead to help me achieve my hair goals and every time I leave the salon I feel like a million bucks. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

Best hair colorist in town.

Been going to Claudette around a year ago. I wanted something different from my dark hair, so I needed a change. Taking it slow, my hair has transformed with her help. Claudette is super helpful in decision making and extremely knowledgeable about her work. Truly a master colorist! Also a great person to talk to while on her chair. She definitely knows how to transform a persons hair and enhances a persons overall beauty. I could not stop touching my hair after getting it done. She helped me feel beautiful and wonderfully confident.

I had a hair color disaster with trying to lighten my own hair color. I saw good reviews for Claudette and decided to seek her help. She was honest in saying that my hair was so damaged, it may take more than one attempt to get the color right. So we spent three hours together while she did her magic. I walked out with a beautiful cut and a nice brown color. Claudette uses the best products and is not only a great colorist, she has great skill with cutting and styling as well. She is honest when it comes to her consultation on what would look best for a client. Her goal is to make you feel and look fabulous.

Claudette has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 15 years and she is the best stylist I have ever gone to (and I’ve gone to a lot). Of my many favorite things about her is that she is brutally honest about what my hair is capable of doing and what style/color is best for me. But she is also more than happy to engage in some of my more fanciful ideas if she thinks they will work. She is also smart and funny, which makes my time in the chair all the more enjoyable.

The last straw was when the last person I went to, left me with a head full of brassy stripy highlights and dried out, fried hair. I saw Claudette’s amazing hair photos online and knew I had to have her do my hair. After the first appointment, my hair was so much better. No more orange tones and everything was so nicely blended.
