Ive been here many, many times. Everyone is always so helpful. This time was to match thread up to fabric for memory pillows for my beautiful mother. They were extremely helpful and very caring as I cried.

This location is smaller than most, but they still had everything my wife and I needed for our latest projects. All JOANN locations that I have been to are badly in need of renovations.

I kinda didnt expect much of this store in Lancaster because Im used to going to the huge one in Reynoldsburg. But I was pleasantly surprised. They had exactly what I needed and the staff was super friendly. I will not hesitate to go back.

Sadly, Joann Fabrics and Crafts in Lancaster is a less than ideal place to shop. The selection is small, but at least you can find the basics.My biggest complaint is the staff. The people are unfriendly and not particularly helpful. I visited the shop for the first time in years, hopeful that the situation had improved...it hasnt. Its doubtful Ill return since theres another option in town for crafts, fabrics, and hobbies.

Terrible customer service. The associates are the extremely rude, probably the worst I have ever encountered. For example, a couple weeks ago I was in there for close to 2 hours & not once did someone ask me if I needed any help nor did they greet me.

Awesome sale! Super friendly employees. The girl who helped me check out even found me an online coupon when one of the items rang up more than I expected.

Rude!! If a zero star were possible thats what I would give. Old grumpy lady I think her name was Cindy rudest thing Ive ever come in contact with definitely wont go back!!!

I am a crafter. So I love this place. Customer service is not always the nicest, but some are. Still they have frequent sales and good deals. Clean, quiet place to get your creative supplies.

I did a curbside pick up. Very efficient and friendly. I dont usually go to this Joanne, but will be making this my location of preference !!

You guys have coupons but kinda not always some kind of way you dont get to use it but the workers were very polite and helpful

The staff that work at this location are fantastic. Lots of beautiful fabric too! Lots of goodies to buy and create whatever you can dream up.

You can buy lots of different fabrics for sewing, seasonal items, beads, craft sets, artificial flowers, rubber stamps and more! This is a crafters dream. I bought a Christmas 🎄 necklace and 2 rings that were 70 percent off. They have some new year merchandise also.

Pretty busy, I received great customer service. They have so much to offer. If you take the time to look around you will find something for everyone. Absolutely wonderful place to shop!

I was SUPER impressed with the staff here. I came from Columbus to pick up a online order. Every staff member I interacted with was so kind & helpful. I spoke with at least 5 employees while I was there. I will gladly make this trip again because of the customer service alone. Great job ladies!!!

Can never use coupons. Everything is on sale even if just a little so there is nothing you can buy with a coupon. Why I quit going there.

This is a small Joanns, I wish it was bigger and nicer. The yarn selection is just ok. Hopefully they go all out on the fabrics, but I doubt it. Employees were nice, even though their noses were hanging out of their masks during the worst pandemic of the last 100 years.

Horrible experience here in Lancasters JOANN. I checked their website and found the material I wanted was in stock and cheaper than other places. I went in to find it was higher price than what the site said. I was there so I just decided to go ahead and get it. The biggest problem was the employee who cut it for me. I waited patiently as she took a couple phone calls and knew by her tone it wasnt going to be a friendly interaction. She acted as if she had better things to do and when I brought the fabric to the counter she practically snapped at me and told me to back up away from the counter (I was more than 6 feet from her). If youre that afraid of customers when theyre actually the distance they need to be from you, you probably shouldnt but working with the general public. Im respectful to keep my distance so you telling me that Im not actually pisses me off. This place is a rip-off anyway and I dont need the attitude. Will never be back to this location.

Clean, fairly well stocked. Two employees were not wearing masks while out on the sales floor. When behind CD the cutting counter they had their masks masks on but not covering their noses and loose around their face. The young lady at the register did wear her mask properly. She was very polite and proficient.

While I understand we are in difficult times, what I don’t agree with is how they handle their “curbside” pick up orders. First come first served right? Not at this store. I ordered and paid for some fabric, which mind you, I wanted 2 yards of, which said this location had 7-8 In stock. Because they didn’t prioritize properly for already paid for items, for more then a week the fabric i purchased, was left on the shelf and able to be purchased, even though technically I had already purchased the material 7 days ago. Bad move JoAnn’s. Will never purchase again!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews however I feel the need to share my bad experience. I understand we are experiencing a pandemic but there is no excuse for how I was treated. On Saturday I placed an online order at the Lancaster Ohio Joann Fabric. I generally shop at the Heath Ohio location and I love it. I had to drive to Lancaster to go to another store so I decided to order from the Lancaster location. When I got to the Lancaster store I hadn’t received an email that my order was ready but I went inside to check if it was ready, there were two employees at the fabric counter talking to each other. I asked if they could check on my online order. She was rude and acted put out. She then said it wasn’t ready and it may not be ready for days. The order was for thread and material. She then continued her conversation with other employee. I left. On Monday I got an email saying my order was ready to pick up and I ONLY had till the next day to pick it up. So on Tuesday I drive the half hour to pick it up since there are only ten people allowed in the store I called for curb side pick up. I got hung up on twice and the third call finally talked to an employee. An employee brings out two orders, goes to the other vehicle gives her the order and is a few inches from the persons window (I think they knew each otherjust talking away with what ended up being my bag in her other hand, she then goes to walk away and turns around and goes back to talk more. Finally she finishes and looks around and I wave her over. End of rant: the point is even during a pandemic you can provide good customer service.

a little more on the expensive side on some of the best fabric otherwise overall customer service courtesy the lady cutting the craft was could have been a little more friendly and talkative and another girl was too worried about having a cigarette instead of helping someone but other than that we love shopping at Jo-Ann fabrics

Got items and went to check out. Fabric wouldnt scan had to wait. The girl checking me out kept apologising. Then coupon for 20% off total purchase wasnt right. Told to get it off my account. When try signing into my account it wanted me to change my password. Another lady came up and said I had to download app to get the 20% off. I already have app and it wouldnt let me sign in because I needed to change password. The second lady (possible managertreated me like I lied about having coupons at home and in my email at home. A long line had formed behind me before a second person came up. I left the fabric and other items and will get them somewhere that doesnt have an employee that embarrasses me and treats me like a liar. Ive never been treated this way at Hobby Lobby or online. I did have the mailer at home. Wont need it!

The space is a little small and cramped. And sometimes when I go there it seems like theres only one person helping the customers find things and checking people out. It makes for some long waits at the check out line. The employees are nice and some of their premium fabrics are great.

Amazing staff theyre so helpful but not the kind thats pushy. They have what I need there Ive yet to not find something I need there. The store is clean and well kept, the aisles are easy to browse.

I love this store. They are small and dont have a lot of stuff so I do not go there often. I go when I get coupons. I am signed up for text and I get 60% off a regular price item at leastonce a month. The workers are always very friendly. They help way more than what is expected. The cashier taught me how to stack coupons there to get the best deals! The workers are the best part!! They make shopping so easy.

Not a fan of this store due to size and availability of items. Didnt have the fabric I needed either time I visited. Its an old building. Service at checkout was great, but the fabric cutting lady was not too kind when I was deciding the length by asking her questions.

The Lancaster Joanns is great. I love all the workers and even though its small I still manage to find everything I need plus more... Also, the digital coupons are lovely. . They have the best sales and coupons each week!

Great assortment of materials and such. Customer service was wonderful. They even helped us find coupons that we were able to use for our purchase. Would highly recommend.

Joanns is a great craft & fabric store, reasonably priced. The biggest problem I see with Joanns is they need in a store twice the size they have. Things are placed very close together.

I like the store, but Ill never order online to pick up at store. Its never ready and they always say "can you come back later or tomorrow? " might as well get it myself. It doesnt save time nor is it convenient.

Very good selection, very good deals, almost everthing is 50% off plus you can use a coupon on their website on your phone to get another 20% off so thats 70% off your purchse. I got everthing I needed for $6 and it will bring an extra $75-$100 out of my project and the staff are always friendly and knowledgable even at closing time.

Ive been going to this JoAnn Fabrics for decades. They have a huge selection of all types of fabrics but Ive also purchased an endless amount of ribbons, floral and craft materials. Love that they offer great discounts via texts etc., too. Sad to say most (not allemployees are always complaining and have a negative attitude. This has been going on as long as I can remember.

There have a good assortment of fabrics, but the store is a bit limited in other crafting supplies. Its also looked mostly the same for about 20 years, now, and is a bit dated and cramped, in my opinion. I would really like to see this store up-grade and get a newer, larger store front so that they could have a larger selection.

Their selection isnt that great and the employees have to be found if you need help even when theyre not busy (as opposed to say, the reynoldsburg location that is much larger, has wonderful selection and always has employees walking around checking if you can find things). I only come to this location for the convenience of it being closer to where I live than others when I need something generic, like elastic or a crochet hook.
