Icecream was good as expected, the tables were a bit gross and garbage was super full. But they have a wide variety of deliciousness.
When the website says they are open until 10:00, then they should be open.
Horribly mismanaged! I arrive for a Grubhub order and get told, “we’re still working on that,” “I’m too busy to do that order,” and finally after waiting 10 minutes “we don’t have any cane batter ice cream and cannot make the order….” Infuriating!!!!!
This was my first time here. I understand most people have been before, so the staff isnt use to telling someone the way to do things. I informed them Id never been here, asked if people usually get one flavor of ice cream or two. I really wanted some information but I had to pry all of the information out. I dont know what to do or what to ask, since Im new, would have been nice if employees could give a little guidance about what the procedure is. Am I supposed to get 1 topping 2 toppings, 3 toppings? Should I add liquid topping before you smashed it up or does that go on top normally? I know its weird that Ive never been here, but there are people like me who havent. Im not sure about going back, the ice cream was good but it could have been better, maybe its because I didnt have them do the right ingredients.
Ice cream was good, but man, having one employee on a Saturday evening is a bad idea. Our wait was really bad.
This place a great ice cream place to go when your in the mood for a sweet treat on a hot , hot summer day or night.🍧🍨🍦
The place is really clean, and smells really good when you walk in the door.
For how busy it is, the staff is still very kind and respectful. The quality is consistent and ice cream is always delicious without feeling like they skimped on toppings.
Mint Chocolate Chip with Oreos. Yummmm!!!Employees were friendly and quick.
We were celebrating our Moms 100th birthday and Cold Stone did an amazing job of making it WAY better than imagined. Id recommend Cold Stone ANYTIME to ANYONE! A super job Cold Stone!!!
Waited about 15 minutes for my blueberry milkshake. When it arrived, it was GREEN, not remotely blue. Was told, "thats how its supposed to look. Whipped cream was deflated, end of can whipped cream. Had to talk to them for a bit to even get the correct milkshake re-ordered. Waited another 10-15 minutes for it. When I finally got it, it was poorly mixed, with thick in some areas and runny in others. Worst Cold Stone location weve ever been to.UPDATE: Response to management - It was not today. It was yesterday. And yes, I am sure this happened. Kind of an odd story to fabricate.
Not very good the flavor selections are basic and boring, they dont have any good flavors of ice cream
My entire family came in yesterday afternoon, and received some of the best customer service weve ever had. There was two girls working at the time, and because one of of them was busy helping another person, the other served our entire family by herself! She was a rockstar! (We think her name was Layla? She was VERY quick and efficient, was kind and patient with all of my kids, and made all of our ice-creams beautifully! She asked about our day, what we were doing in Utah, and even gave us some suggestions of other restaurants to hit in the area! And then when my mother spilled some of her ice-cream all over herself and the floor, she dropped everything and mopped it up and got her a clean damp towel to clean herself with. When she overheard one of my kids say they were thirsty, she came right out and just gave him an ice water! We werent able to give the tip we wouldve liked to yesterday, but we will DEFINITELY be back to this location. Way to go Coldstone!
Went in to get a shake with my boyfriend and before we even ordered, one of the female employees bent over to grab something out of the ice cream and all of her hair went into a container of it. We left immediately.
Good flavor, but very inconsistent servings. Friend and I ordered same size, yet one had twice as much. Amount served varied greatly between visits. Would raise rating if they could figure out how to make things consistent.
Great ice cream shop, my daughter loves going there. Prices are on the higher end for ice cream and the chocolates, but the quality is amazing. If youve never been, I would recommend this place.
Great experience! They were quick, efficient, and kind. Definitely would come back again. The only con was that it seemed a little pricey.
I frequent the 25th Street Coldstone because I work on 25th Street. I take clients here 3 or 4 times a week. The crew is always friendly! The Manager, Amy, is an amazing individual. I have been there enough to know that she hires employees with limited skills and that other companies will not hire. I have witnessed twice this week a customer complaining and bad mouthing the manager when she wasnt even working- and they implied she was there at the time of the complaint. I asked the employee about it and they said a disgruntled employee, that has mental issues, quit with no notice and is sending people in to complain. I find this disgusting. I have witnessed how Amy treats her employees and customers. If you know Amy and have received excellent service from her and her crew- I am asking you to write a review and lets overshadow this deplorable immaturity. If people knew all the kind, wonderful things Amy does on a daily basis, they wouldnt dare say 1 single bad thing about her. I will always take clients to the 25th Street Coldstone because of Amy.
I genuinely love this place. The manager is phenomenal, the cakes are beautiful, the ice cream is *chefs kiss*! so you can imagine my disappointment when I came in today and saw a 20 somethin year old man making orders and touching food with NO GLOVES ON!!! I even heard the manager ask him to put gloves on and he said no and that he “didn’t have to” I ended up leaving without my ice cream. Not only is it gross to handle peoples food without gloves, it also shows that he has a complete disregard for the health of the patrons and has no respect for his manager. I hope that this employee is reprimanded and made to take more food handlers classes or is fired.
I normally have a great experience at this location. I’ve never had an issue before. But as I came in today and waited in line, I noticed that an employee was touching the food with his bare hands. And as a different employee asked him if he was going to put gloves on (because he shouldThis employee said he didn’t have to because he’s the owner. That attitude and the fact that he was touching the food with his bare hands made me walk right out the door..
Love coldstone. What I don’t love is one employee who doesn’t care about their work. The one on the right was supposed to look similar to the other-> appetizing. This guy decided to mash it into a mushy sloppy mess. The girl employee who made the other clearly takes pride in her work and it looks great and tastes fantastic. I wish I caught her name because she deserves the tip tonight.
My original order was incorrect and the manager Amy resolved my issue quickly with professionalism and kindness. All of the workers were very sweet and the cupcakes were perfect. Thank you
The open sign is on. We showed up at 850 PM and they had two people in the store. They had locked the doors so no one could get in. In my opinion, if you close at 9 PM, your doors should remain unlocked until 9 PM; you dont lock your doors 10 minutes early. Very unprofessional.
We come in every now and then… it’s usually not too bad. But tonight wasn’t great. We got a kid size and usually it isn’t just two spoonfuls of ice cream. They didn’t chop the toppings. We got two shakes and the one was totally liquid. The other one was blended so much that the toppings just mixed in rather chunky and it was just awful. We threw most of it away. Probably won’t come to this location again.
Great energy, awesome service and the pumpkin bread ice-cream was outstanding!Whoever the ladies were working on 10/21/2021 were beyond amazing and compassionate. Our little one made a mess there and they were all exceptional, they were very helpful andade us feel comfortable. They all need a raise.
The ice cream is always top notch. But tonight one of the employees was just highly engaging in talk and interest in the customers. I wish I remembered his name. What a positive experience.
I love Coldstone! However, I did an online pickup order, which was very easy. When I went to pick it up I called like the instructions said to and was never helped. I went in finally and there were plenty of staff just listening to the phone ring and ignoring it. It wasnt even busy!
I came to pick up am order for Uber eats and I dont understand how they will just lock the doors 10 minutes before closing time with orders pending to be picked up and they obviously knew I was there and they just made eye contact and ignored me and I dont know how many times I tried telling them they should have my order ready Im an Uber eats driver but Im assuming they mustve thought I was a walk in customer and didnt want to clean up again....I get it but I shouldnt have to suffer bad points for Uber because of their carelessness. And this isnt the first time and it happens on Fridays alot....looking at you manager...need to see whats going on with the closing shift on Fridays they are making uberdrivers, customers, and this business loose money.
Summertime blues hit the ice cream shop. The kids seemed a little grumpy when we went. Didnt know or didnt want to answer questions about ingredients. Another smacked the ice cream down with attitude and then another seemed to have a fit changing the garbage.Maybe they feel guilty about being on the wrong side of an obesity problem. If you have a bland unsweetened cream "keto" ice cream garnished with nuts or a real fruit sherbet for vegans then you could arm your sales kids with healthy choices. No sad faces.
Gotta have it. Nice evening enjoying Founders Favorite on the sidewalk tables on historic 25th street. Parking during busy hours might be a challenge, but theres usually enough activity (coming and going), that you can park fairly closely.
Giving it a 2 only because I still love the ice cream but the reason for the low score is because my husband ordered a custom Mother’s Day cake and they didn’t make it. He was super excited to surprise me and very disappointed they had it in the system but never got it done.... why? I don’t know. Instead of making it right, they took the easy way out and just refunded the money. Getting a refund is fine but the best outcome or best customer service would’ve been that they got it done even if it was a day later but for some reason they didn’t have none of the ingredients. But ingredients he asked for were the same ones upfront that I order when I just get ice cream so.....🤷🏻♀️ They did give a small free cake but wasn’t good.
Just went there at 4pm on March 20th and the workers were not very friendly. It was our first time there and they didn’t explain anything. The ice cream was melted and she didn’t ask if I wanted any toppings nor did she ask what kind of cone I wanted; it felt like they just wanted us to leave. We will not be coming back anymore.
I love coldstone! I always get mud pie mojo and sub some of the ingredients and they are always willing to do it! My husband always gets the peanut butter cup perfection with a brownie. Also their caramel apples are do good! I prefer the apple pie caramel apple. We also like that they are open late on Saturdays but unfortunately they are closed on Sundays.
Its great to see little business flourishing. The staff was super friendly to my five kids and I when we went to get a special treat. They all love that the young lady that helped us toss the ice cream in the air and magically caught it in the cup.
Ladies were very nice! Clean and organized, have special dog bones too! Good icecream, amazing add ins! Come here every chance I get
Tonight I decided to splurge on myself! I order online for curbside pick up, one of the signatures.when I got there I was told Im sorry but we are busy and short staffed so you will have to come in!I was told come to the front and we will give it to you. I walked in and was asked my name which I gave them and they went back to what they were doing. Finally another young lady came and asked my name again, she handed me a bag from the freezer and told me to have a good night!I went to my car and decided to double check. Well Im glad I did because the waffle bowl was not in my bag so I go back in where I am again ignored. Finally I get my bowl and leave, my house is 3 minutes from the store. When get home my ice cream is a melted mess like it was sitting out but the fruit is completely frozen... I am not impressed with the service or ice cream. P.S. if you are going to do curbside pick up have enough staff to actually accommodate.
Great. Place, ice cream is great. Anything you want mixed in is offered, the salted caramel apples are really really great. All the servers are very good. We had Lexi what a great smile she has and very friendly . Had a great time. Thanks 🌞
The ice cream was great, but the girl serving us made us wait for her to get a tiktok dance down before actually serving us. She also forgot part of our order, we were not picky enough to have her fix it.
Some sherbet and non dairy options. Its good. its cold stone. but I would suggest visiting the local ice cream places Ive reviewed ... I guess I should mention when they opened the were handing out slices of candy and caramel covered apples to local businesses.... They were going bad and we couldnt even eat them... Only bad interaction Ive had tho.If you just want ice cream..get it. they will do it up nice. Plus they got the cakes.
I started going here last winter and the prices were a bit high but not bad. The manager, I think her name was Remy, and workers were nice and quick. After a few months I noticed the staff had changed and with it the quality of service and cleanliness of the facility. I came back a week ago to give it another shot and it was even worse. Avoid if possible!
You know what. If this would have been a week ago I would have gave it higher stars. I went in there the other day for some ice cream. There was no one at the counter. I was fine with that at the time because I was looking over the product. After 5-10 of waiting though it was not fine. There was now a line forming and still no one to be seen. I ended up getting tired of waiting and left. Wont be going back to that location which is sad because the a close and convenient. 0/10 would recommend.
The size and location of this venue is perfect for the crowd it could pull in. The layout is great to keep serving a large amount of people. If you need a nice cold treat while youre walking downtown this is definitely something to be of mention. My favorite is their strawberry blonde.
The best ice cream with mix in items around. My favorite is amaretto and cheese cake bites. The staff always have great suggestions if you dont know what you want. They gladly give you samples to taste. The cakes are a little pricey but so worth it. They have a great variety of carmel apples anytime and fresh dipped chocolate strawberries for Valentines day.
Cindy was awesome and super helpful, she was patient and helped create beautiful and taste concoction. Thank you cindy I will definitely come back.
This Cold Stone Creamery location was FANTASTIC. We have a little one with celiac, and when we mentioned it they got all new ice cream from the back, toppings straight out of their packages from the back, washed their hands, and put a plate down on top of their cold mix plate to prevent cross contamination! I would highly recommend this place. Besides the awesome allergy experience, the value you get for the money is great, and the selection is way good. The cookie dough ice cream is the bomb.
This ice cream is some of the best I’ve had. And the workers are very kind. The only issue I had was the cashier got confused but other than that I completely recommend coming here the ice cream is AMAZING!!
A very cool experience. Kind and warm reception and just overall a great place to chill out.
Delicious, but WAY overpriced and AWFUL customer service.Last night, right before closing, I spent $5 on a single milk chocolate peanut butter bucket. Only, it was supposed to have creamy peanut butter, and when I got home, I was quite disappointed to bite into it and discover it was filled with whole peanuts. I didnt even eat it, because I strongly dislike chunky peanut butter, and since I spent $5 on this relatively small piece of chocolate, I called them back today to tell them about what happened and ask if I could bring it in and exchange it. I wasnt angry because I understood that this was just a small mistake and it could be easily solved. But when I called, they told me that they cant offer me anything and if I wanted a creamy peanut butter bucket, Id have to purchase another. Im not about to spend $10 just to get a single peanut butter cup for myself, especially when this mixup was entirely due to employee error!! And its absolutely unreasonable that they expect me to spend MORE money just to get the thing I originally ordered!!!The worst part? This isnt even the first time this has happened! In March, I spent several dollars on a "birthday cake" chocolate bar that was supposed to have sprinkles in it, according to the picture and description on the package. Not only did it not have sprinkles in it, but it tasted horrible--like fake Halloween chocolate and corn syrup. I was irritated about the false advertising and tried to return or exchange it, but they told me there was nothing they could do.Its a shame because I love Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory products, but Im definitely going to have to stop purchasing from this location, if not just the store in general.
Delicious ice cream and chocolate in one place, what more could you want???
Yummy. Very clean. Lots of seating. Very nice staff
