Coldwell Banker in Cape May County

Staying at the Courtyard #3 rental at 99th & 2nd Avenue in Stone Harbor, NJ. We checked in July 28th, 2018 to find the screen/storm door was broken with sharp edges exposed. The door looked as though it had been damaged some time ago. We reported this hazard to the rental agent at check in time and again a few hours later as we were very concerned for the safety of our grandchildren. They said they would remove the door to eliminate the hazard but could not replace the door until Monday. Its now Thursday and a new door has not been installed.The unit has a large picture window which has a cheap see through blind which does not allow for privacy. Theres a bright light outside the unit which lights the living room making the task of falling asleep on the pull out hide-a-bed problematic. The other units at this property have room darkening shades that provide complete privacy.The bathroom sink faucet was missing a part exposing a heavily rusted/corroded faucet stem. The bathroom heat register was rusted as well. The vanity had rusty hinges and cabinet doors had nicks and chips. The bottom of the bathroom door and vanity door appeared to have water damage.All units at Courtyard, except unit 3 have two chairs and a small table outside the front door. Not a big deal but would have used them on multiple occasions if they were available.The light bulbs were missing in one of the bedrooms. All the bed pillows were badly stained.The freezer has a single ice cube tray. Again, not a big deal just another example of the little things that are indicative.Weve stayed at the Courtyard previously and were very satisfied. Theyve obviously lowered their standards significantly.
