This was a hit and miss, the wings were great tasted amazing! The steaks we ordered were supposed to be medium and medium rare both came out well done and the loaded potatoes were watery and the cheese looked and tasted like it had been reheated and it was hard the fish however amazing best fish we’ve had at a restaurant in ages but the chips were over cooked tasted like they had been refried which you can probably get away with IF they’re not shoe string but these were dead I covered my chips in gravy to see if that would help soften them and it did a little bit. My partner walked in a different enterance and there was throw up in various places as well, we spoke to 2 different staff who said collectively maybe 50 words to us so all in all won’t be returning

Came here for the first time since the renovations and its great! The food was delicious, well priced and not too long of a wait. The staff member went above and beyond for my children as well, thank you Erin!

There is always fights at the tavern and lots of aggressive people hanging around out the front making it unsafe to walk to and from your car. Often young girls working and no security even though its not a good area. Always feel uncomfortable with the swearing and aggressiveness while you are trying to enjoy yourself.

This redevelopment has changed a relaxed restaurant with seniors meals into a sports bar with a dark interior, loud music, no seniors meals and an atmosphere which turned me off ever going there again.

The floor staff were lovely… they need a better chef…. the “chips” were basically undercooked frozen fries… cold by the time they got to the table…. They were not “chips” as described on the menu. The hollandaise sauce I ordered was not hollandaise… it was some spicy green concoction. YUCK🤢🤮 . Caesar salad was made with dried out bacon, too salty and the extra chicken was totally left out. A very unimpressive meal! We were offered a complimentary coffee which must have ended up with the fairies because we never got them… we will not return…. and do not recommend the tavern at all….☹️☹️☹️

This place was pumping..the most impressive staff Ive encountered at a pub..lovely ladies with very short blonde hair..would be a credit to anyone she worked for

Other gaming venues atleast bring out finger food again some even making free toasties but not the tavern.

Hard to judge accurately as extensive renovations being undertaken. I visited the gaming room to kill time while waiting for my car to be washed. Was impressed with what I saw...clean, spacious, friendly staff, good selection of machines...and I came out in front!!! Worth returning once the Renos are completed.

Very poor food had the anglers plate, battered fish was passable, crumbed prawns where the worst I have ever eaten frozen packet stuff, salt and pepper squid seemed the same. Have eaten here every 3/4 months to see if the food has changed unfortunately it hasnt.

I dropped in for lunch with family and enjoyed the meal as did everyone in my group, the service was excellent, after our meal we went into the gaming room to pass a few hours away and we all enjoyed our time at Colonnades Tavern and will definitely go again

A venomous work place. Front bar service is deplorable. Syringes found in toilets often. If youre looking for a nice safe night out with your family dont go to Colonnades Tavern. Money laundry centrel.

We had a Christmas function had a meal there and I thought it was very ordinary The meals did not come out as a group meals and came out individually and as a result the people that had their meals first had finished before other other members of our group had even got theirsOn top of that the chips were over done on the positive the waiting staff did an amazing jobSo a rating out of 10 would be 5

Has great menu options for those of us who cant eat a full size meal. Plenty of 1/2 serve options. Great meal & service. Only disappointing thing was 4 people put in a booth when tables were all vacant. Table & proper chair would have been more comfortable.

Staff is good but clearly the chef doesnt know what constitutes good, consistent food. My partner got the full sized parmi and I got the schnitzel. My schnitzel was half the size of my partners and slightly thinner. the server said the chef said My partners was butterflied slightly differently bit was clearly a larger breast fillet compared to mine. Highly disappointed considering you can tell the quality of a pub buy the quality of their schnitzels.

Stopped in today at 6:15 28 -10-21 staff said there booked out. But web indicates easy seating.. HUH

Disappointing service, told when given cultery that they would bring some bread rolls over (didnt happenfood just warm, some had been microwaved should have mixed it as hot saucer but contents cold in places, steak not rare and cold , no steak knike, staff seemed to occupied with there phones.Dissappointting as have had some great meals here

Horrible experience didnt give us the right food I ordered had us waiting over an hour for our meal we ordered a steak well done came out rare I ordered beef but got chicken now waiting another hour for my meal

The Bistro. The food was fresh and delicious. It was cooked to perfection. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be going again.

Havent been here for a long time so we thought we would give it a try last time we went it was good but this time it was ok but not the same Emma was fantastic and friendly but some of the food wasnt as good it was a bit disappointing

Didnt get the name of the girl who served us but, would give her 10/10 for friendliest & most efficient. She was taking orders for food, drinks coffee etc on her own & did it so lovely (& it started to get busy). Food & coffee was lovely. Havent been there for years but will go back. Well done (whoever you are lol)

Well priced, friendly staff, quick service. Not any special atmosphere and the food was fair - steak was ok but not great. Presentation was more like put on your plate than nice. I did love the fried ice-cream though!

Little wait on our meal due to being a little busy. Ordered Chicken Burger, which I ate as cant waste food but it did have an oily taste to it, so if i were to go back it wont be my first choice but the chips were nice. The lady who served us, was very friendly.

Third time I have booked and my booking has disappeared in to thin air. Booked 3 weeks ago for a meal before a show at the Hopgood Theatre. One person taking orders and payment queued for 20 mins just to order. No cutlery on table, had to ask twice. Not staff fault they are doing the best they can. Management needs a kick up the arseIts not like they didnt know.

I go here at least once a week & I just cant get enough of their beef schnitzel! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and their specials every day of the week are awesome as well. I love this place.

Value for money dining, especially the Monday to Friday lunch time specials, in an open spacious resturant...

We were greeted by a lovely girl Emma who showed enthusiasm for her job with smiles and conversation which is a rarity these days, so thank you. Everyone’s meals wereyummy and it was also nice to get a warm bread roll with meal. I loved my barramundi. Keep it up, we will definitely be back.

Service good. Nice quiet environment pm could hear each other talking. Food was lovely - again. Have been here several times, and will be back. Salads leave a lot to be desired.

We enjoyed the friendly service & the great Aussie style chicken schnitzels. The manager went out of his way to make our time there enjoyable and very graciously cleaned up the mess when my husband knocked over his glass of water & ice. I would definitely recommend any one to enjoy a meal there.
