The last three times I went there at the one in Altoona they were out of Kibbles and bits and I really needed to get me some Kibbles and bits! LOL

Stood in customer service for over 15 mins just for the MANAGER to argue with me about the serial number on my item not matching the model number. She said they dont match and couldnt return my item... OF COURSE THEY DONT MATCH! Youre checking a SN against a Model number!! Hire people who actually know what they are doing ESPECIALLY for manager spots.

Even was a different lay out like the others stores, the shelves was full of merchandiseVery niceIt took me longer to find what I was looking for

We had forgotten our grocery bag with goods inside, went back the next day. Found our bag without the goods! Lady at the counter requested us to pick up whatever we had lost at no cost.

Found everything I needed at great price. Went to a real person to check out. Thank God they still have real people.

This Walmart in Altoona,Pa has better prices,products and variety. Love it!

Clean, well maintained and stocked store, both in household goods and groceries. Numerous check out lanes were open and there was minimal delay to finish my shopping.

I am giving five stars to this Walmart, because its the only one Ive seen in PA with a liquor store.

It is surprising the availability of products from food auto clothes home etc at the Walmart though they never seem to have enough persons at the service center or at checkout and their carts are in disrepair always clunky and hardly ever roll straight sometimes their veggies are not as fresh but overall the price is ok and the staff are usually nice though the store shoppers and stockers get in the way of in store patrons at times

We use the pickup service for canned goods, bulky items and some refrigerated foods. We shop inside for meat and produce. We like picking those items ourselves and we can breeze through the self checkout’s. Prices, variety,and self checkouts work for me…

They have lots of supplies there, and they have wonderful people working there and almost anything and everything youre looking for

Its an ok Walmart. They have tons of choices but the atmosphere is meh and getting customer service some times is really really difficult.

The only reason Im giving it a three-star is because theres more self checkout lines then there is real checkout lines run by people barely anybodys working anymore but they have really anything that you could possibly want food clothes batteries everything

Altoona Walmart is great store. Very clean and friendly staff. You can find stuff easy. The food part is really reasonable prices. Lots of parking spaces. ❤️🥰🌺🌷🌹🌻👗👚👖🧤🔨🛠️📗💙💜✳️

Walmart is cool they should have better help back at electronics other than that the store is a pleasant shopping EXSPERIENCE. come see for yourself very enjoyable. happy place to go

Tire and Auto center got me me fast and out the door in under a hour.Work I had done is change 4 tires and balance and away I went.So I would recommend going back and I will myself.

I shop Walmart almost daily and they have almost everything a body needs or your home Ive never seen the prices so Iow and this heat WOW ! IM TALKING ABOUT THE AIR Conditioners 1 room size for under 50 dollars go grab one for your room well dont forget the children and grandchildren

The staff was very helpful in helping me fine things and didnt rush me because I do have to walk with a cane I was very pleased to shop at walmart and will shop there again

I shop here a lot despite referring to it as Little China. Lately, they have been increasing prices at an outrageous rate. But, they are still cheaper than the average grocery outlet. I call them Big China now.

Walmarts are all the same wherever you go. It doesnt matter where you are..lousy service and no one to assist you... Pennsylvania or North Carolina

Horrible customer service. Discrimination against people who get help financially or from other outside agencies. I was not allowed to exchange things that a local agency had helped me get for my children for school even though not even 24 hours prior to this we were there and when we mentioned it it seemed to not be a problem I was given a lie about how it affects Walmarts taxes when that makes no sense since it was paid for with a credit card and how are they to ever know that the merchandise on exchanging was the merchandise paid for with that credit card. Im a person that was with me was treated a lot better and a lot more respectful. I have history at this Walmart and Ive worked there and its never been good too its employees let alone its customers

It has everything at a one stop store. From soup to nuts. When you need various items from hardware to groceries, to garden supplies to bed linens. And everythingg in between.

Would love for them to be open 24hrs again.Pick up is a joke . Had an order in to pick up between 9 -10 pm. Got to a parking spot before 10 app wouldnt let me check in .Call the number on the sign . Its say they are helping another customer please leave a voice mail okay. Leave a voicemail. Nothing. Call the main store number rings forever no one answered. Call back keeps ringing. Call again talk to a store employee they transferred me to the manager on duty for night okay sounds good. Nope never answered its just rings and rings . Then it hangs up on me. Getting really mad at this point. Call the store back. 9nce again no one answered the phone. Never got my order. Ill be stopping int today to speak with a manager and will be calling the corporate office.

The cleaning of this store has really gone downhill. The fitting rooms are gross with stuff all over the floors and restrooms half the time arent any better. Customer service isnt real friendly like they use to be half the time you can find a worker to help you.

I never received my order and it was expensive. Also went to pick up an order and they had no idea what I was talking about and took forever to get it right. Used to be a great system and now I dont know. This is not the first time either.

The auto center did an outstanding job for me. Showed up with a spare on and 10 minutes till closing and they put 2 tires on with out a complaint. Thanks you

Before you buy something in store, check prices on the app.. youll find that the same product is usually $2.00 - $10.00 cheaper online price. Make them match the price, walmart is ripping us all off.. do your homework people, with these sky high prices every dollar counts

It had what I needed n the groceries were reasonably priced. The fruit was fresh n nice looking.

A large variety for every taste can be found here. From the discounted brand name clothing at TJ Max, all the way around to the discounted Sams club gasoline, a unique variety of treasures awaits in the middle.

Walmart is Walmart. I would just shop at Hollidaysburg Hometown Market if the prices werent absolutely ridiculous. But, if Walmart had more cashiers to check you out and not have insane lines to stand in, I wouldnt be forced to use the self check ours which I do not mind using, but dont hound me as Im walking out the door to show you my receipt. If you trust me enough to do your job because you dont have enough cashiers out on the floor, then leave me be.

Its pretty much just like other Wal-Marts; for some reason, it seems a little bigger than other ones. For example, there seemed Ike there wae were more clothes in all of the clothing departments.

AWESOME experience at Walmart Supercenter in Altoona PA! I cannot get enough of the store! I love that they have multiple self checkouts set up and OPEN all the time and always have a team member close when needed. This is why I am an avid Walmarter!! Thank you for all the great deals! Food prices have gone up across the board but i do have faith they will come back down to where they should be very shortly!

Picked up soft drinks listed on my app for one price. Checking out they were over a dollar more. I asked about it and they said "Yeah, sometimes the app is different." They didnt honor the app price. Ridiculous.

I always love doing all my shopping at Walmart Supercenter. They have the food items that I like. Such as goats milk, honey butter . And I can alwaysGet home improvement items lawn and garden items and so forth.

We bought two regular burgers and fries. When we took them out of the bag. It had 5 long strains of someones hair in the bag. We wouldnt eat them . we paid $30.00 dollars for the order and couldnt eat it. We didnt have time to take it back because they took too long and we had to get to a meeting. Never will go there again

Just had the WORST customer service experience here just simply asking about a Croc pot. My husband approached "Elma" who first ignored him and got her phone out, when he said maam she started off that she was looking for it, my husband threw his hands up and said nevermind. I asked her what was so complicated about her job that she was so mean, she was a total hag to me too. I turned her in, the team leader apologized and said he would "talk" to her. Im sure he will, he didnt even know who she was LOL so I had to describe her. Pretty sad you run the crew but dont know who works for you. My husband and I WONT be back until we can shop at night where no one is around. All we did was ask where the Croc pots were.

The store is neat and mostly organized but the employees lack sensibility and compassion, they almost never help when I ask them where an item is or blatantly tell me "I dont know"... they should fire everyone except Tom (the only friendly employee yall haveand restaff... I rather travel 20 mins to Dubois because Clearfield Walmart has a very limited selection of good items.

I was not there, but was in telephone contact with 2 of the Auto Center Associates. They went out of their way and stayed open late so my boyfriend could get towed in to get a tired. They were absolutely wonderful and cant thank them enough!

Love Love Love this WALMART!!! First time EVER visiting this location in Altoona Pa. Customer Service was EXCELLENT. Brought some clothes as well, and Mannn the Quality and Variety to choose from is Awesome. Wont be dissapointed.

Generally good deal, its a walmart that is always a little busy because it generally has everything that you are going to need. I am not a fan of thier produce department, they could have a little better variety. Otherwise thier gardening center is pretty nice in season, and sometimes you han find some unusual odds and ends.
