I was at the Greenacres branch yesterday; and for the first time ever, I received the cordial and professional service that the tax payers deserve. I was attended by C.J. Smith and it was a pleasure.
MoreI was treated so well first by the customer service representative on the phone and later when I came in to drop of a document. I know some services take a while and yet, I walked out in less than 10 min, cared for today instead of a week later like I expected. Thank you- that helped me greatly.
MoreThis just happened, about 45 minutes ago. I go to the Tax Collectors Office in Greenacres. Before entering I finish a smoke, otherwise Im completely healthy. Security here called PBSO, the sheriff on me. Why, is beyond me. Do reply to this comment of any alarming behaviors prior to entering during the one oclock hour.After entering and discovering this place is only accepting appointments yet again, I leave. The last time I came here walk-ins were available in 2021. I wasnt able to get a new ID because some lady wanted to charge even with the documents I had to get it free. I leave. That was a waste of a good picture. Back to today, A security officer for the location came speeding and nearly hit me as I was walking to enter the building and as I was leaving a PBSO Deputy came even closer to hitting me at the intersection of Lake Worth Road and Military Trail. Im not one for taking bodily harm for a payout, but had this happened that wouldve been the icing on the cake to have and to eat too. Ive a got a book of complaints for Florida Faculties and apparently there is still information needed to be added before publishing. This is the effects of libel. Their own libel. This is the effect of believing your own bullshizz.
MoreThey only take appointments, and it takes 6 weeks for one, this is ridiculous. Just stay working normally, this is not 2020, almost 3 years passed and you still forcing this stuff. This is not NY or California, our governor does not approve this

MoreI was surprised how quick my appointment was to renew my license. I already had the star on it and just needed a vision test. My appointment was 8:15, and I was out at 8:30.
MoreToday I went to this location and I had to take an eye test so I could renew my license. The cashier P7950JAP was the worse she first said do I have eye problems and I said no. I had to go to three machines and at the third machine she started laughing at me for not being able to see well. But all three machines I was not informed that they move down until another customer told me. I will never recommend anyone going to this location due to the fact it was unprofessional for this cashier to laugh at a customer

MorePlease tell people on the website that you have to have an appointment to get a DL. Also how can you mandate a FL DL within 10 days if it takes 3 to 6 weeks to get an appointment!!!! I’m from “backwards “ Arkansas and they make you guys look like pulookas!

Better after 3:30 on Wednesday’s. Avoid coming at the end of the month when everybody rushes to renew stuff. Print out your appointment confirmation QR code on paper because the scanners are glitchy sometimes with smartphones. Minus two stars for enforcing $15 late registration fees due to COVID and statewide computer network outages. I tried to renew on time in October 2021 but their server was down I had to drive with an expired license for three months. That’s really annoying considering our taxes and insurance rates already went up anyway! $15 is a lot of money to people right now especially with inflation and high gas prices. Tip: if you are getting your “real ID” make sure you to bring your old license with you. Also bring a sweater it can get cold inside.
MoreJust had very bad experience with this branch. Had to make an appointment 4 weeks prior in December so I can take care of some mistakes made by FLHSMV not for the first time either. After speaking to a regular clerk and 4 "supervisors" including branch manager Michel, at least that what she said her name was, not to mention that none of them were wearing name tags.I realized that these are exceptionally stupid people with attention span shorter than my cats. These people only care to talk and listen to themselves. Even after I showed the letter from FLHSMV that clearly black on white states when and if I had to pay fine for cancelled insurance. Unfortunately they CAN read (big plus,BUT they Can NOT comprehend what they read. They still "serve" people by appointment even there are more employees hanging around than customers. I counted around 6-7 clerks just sitting in the windows doing nothing not to mention 5 so called "supervisors" black women and 1 guy congregating in an inset space in the middle just chirping and smiling. Those people are useless and getting decent salaries for nothing! Appointment system should have been cancelled long time ago. Nevertheless I started talking to Michelle (branch managerwho was prior standing back and mocking my accent while I was talking to a guy ,her subordinate, she was asking him what I was saying, even though my English is pretty clear as it reflected on audio I was recording. So needless to say she wasnt the sharpest tool in a bucket. After realizing I will get a better result by talking to a wall I said: " hell with you I pay the fine, even the official letter clearly beared otherwise instructions,that they also tried to snatch away from me. She decided to call the security and escort me out the building for being right and more intelligent than she is. She simply couldnt handle that fact. Hopefully the Governor or Tax Collector can clear out this swampy, nonsensical mess that they have in that particular DMV. Needless to say letters will go out to the Governors office, cc Consitutional Tax Collector and a complaint will be filed.
MoreI been there twice to get my learner license, and the second time is to replace it. Well there are are some great people there they help. The guy was just nice he actually understood my situation and he was kind. And he explain the answer to my question.
MoreI was having a difficult time renewing my license. I reached out to customer relation advocate office. Michelle contacted me the next day, and made sure my problems were address and taken care of. Also these have been trying times and people have bad days me included. So lets all take a deep breath and do the right things. Thanks again for all you help.
MoreEven with an appointment expect to wait a minimum of 2 hours to be called. There are 40 stations but only 12 open. I ended up having to leave after an hour because I was told it would be at least one more hour and I had other appointments that day.
MoreWorst office in PB County. Wait time to speak with someone is always over an hour. Who in their right mind waits that long. I can’t even get client advocate to answer emails. Maybe it’s time for Anne Gannon to step aside and let a more pragmatic person to correct this fiasco of an office. Simply horrible experience.

MoreThese people don’t understand that because they have bad days, they shouldn’t project it on us. One woman didn’t understand that the looking glass for the eyesight test wasn’t working correctly she got her supervisor and we tried another one, I told her okay and she said with the most sluggish attitude, excuse me? I just got a little frustrated and she got angry and just said whatever gave me a waiver and said to reschedule. Love if I wanted disrespect I would have gone to a jailhouse.
MoreI just want to say that Amber King is the best at what she does. She was the only employee that took her time and helped me out with a situation that I was dealing for about 4 months and I was directed to contact the Tallahassee department and I called numerous of times and I did not get a live person on the phone. This is so unfair on how this system work.But thank you Amber so much for your help and for going out and beyond on helping me.
MoreAfter reading the reviews of other people about this place, it’s sad I found myself relating to them about their experience at this office. I come by this location as it’s relatively close to where I stay but the last two times I came, the customer service was not good. The employees are generally unfriendly and act like customers being present is a burden to them. Next time I need something scheduled, I will make an appointment at the Palm Beach Gardens Campus. Highly recommend Gardens!
MoreRenewed my license two years ago, I spent about seven hours there. This is terrible, in the third world countries it takes less than one hour. I hold Annne Gannon responsible for the service being so poor for so long. After all she is in charge, and has not done anything effective to change the service after seeing the numerous complaints.I cannot support this poor performance.

I have been dealing with them from a distance, but I will say the person handling my paperwork has been very pleasant and above all extremely efficient. I have been there plenty of times, and nearly dreaded dealing with them again. This last time was a breeze. If your lucky and you get her to help you, you will understand.

Rude, impatient, condescending, uncaring, mean... Not at all a sunshine attitude. They need customer service training, a vacation, a new job, something. Next time I’ll try another location.

You cannot get through to any one. If you happen to speak to a real person they quickly give you an attitude. I need a license I cannot cash a check or get Into a federal office building. This is a broken system. I will remember your efficiency at election time.

MoreWorst than the original building. No parking. Empty spaces where people can park but instead, put tow away signs. Seems unorganized. They call one letter then stop for 45 minutes on that letter and call all other letters. I’ve had to wait an hour or 2 before at the DMV but this was the worst place I’ve ever experienced. Now I know for future that I’ll go to Belle Glade. Originally went there but the drive is too far. But might be worth it than sitting here listening to every letter in the alphabet being called except yours and seeing the time go to 2 and a half hours all for a DL renewal
MoreLet me tell you, I had an appointment at 12:10pm and was out of there by 12:15pm. I HIGHLY suggest you make an appointment as the wait time was 2.5 hours and there were barely any seats to sit in! As soon as I walked in and was given my number by the really nice receptionist (I wish I got her name), I sat down and my number was called right away. People that had been waiting there looked at me crazy!Then the woman that helped me with my license was THE NICEST and most helpful employee (again, wish I got her name, too). Everyone that I made contact with at this location was super nice and not what Ive experienced in the past at most DMVs. Fast and very friendly service!
MoreClosed a bunch of small inefficient offices to open 1 large inefficient office. Annes pictures are plastered all over the place so we know who profited and gained from this. This combining offices had no positive impact on the tax payers who paid for it all. The employees on the other hand are great, friendly and helpful.
MoreLet me start by saying, if you want fast service, come to this office only between 4:30-5pm... there will be virtually NO line. On the other hand, the staff here are not very educated about their jobs. I had to make 4 trips total to the tax collectors office with 3 of them being at this location. I had 3 parking violations back from 2015 that were unpaid and I was told I needed to pay them at the city of west palm beach parking administration. So, I went and paid all of my tickets that following Monday and went back to this office yesterday (Tuesday). I go to the counter and the Hispanic woman sitting at the counter was extremely rude and was only acknowledging what she saw on her screen. According to what she saw I owed money on a ticket from February this year that was non existent. I gave her the papers from the Parking Administration and she got snippy with me about going to the parking admin and clearing the issue with them when I had the clearance in hand and she refused to listen. I left and came BACK to the same office this morning and spoke with a completely different employee, handed her the papers and she told me THE SAME THING. I called the parking administration to clarify and they confirmed that was an error and I had NO outstanding tickets. After finally going to the tax collectors office in downtown West Palm Beach, they reviewed the paperwork and immediately allowed me to renew my registration. I will NEVER go back to this office again. The wait time was also set at 2 hours at the time I walked in and when I went to the office downtown it only took 15 minutes to be seen. BEWARE OF STUPIDITY WHEN GOING TO THIS OFFICE!
MoreI registered and paid for license plate and registration online 07/02/2019. Once paid the email confirmation read: 3days!!! What?! I paid a ticket 2010 - I got sent back to me in 2018 - it had been circulating PBC for eight years, so my expectation was low. Friday July 5th viola! in my mailbox. Anne Gannon should take over our health care system!

MoreWent in to renew my license at like 9:30 on a Friday and only waited about an hour and a half. Place very clean, stuff wasnt rude and there were plenty of seats.

MoreThe wait for a new drivers license was horrendous over fours during the work week. The inefficiency was incomprehensible fours to get a picture taken is inexcusable. Tax payer dollars at waste they are grossly understaffed and clearly they dont monitor what services are highest in demand to staff those categories appropriately. You can hear people in the rear laughing and shooting the breeze while the lobby is filled with distraught people and crying babies.
