Huge selection of bourbons and cocktails. Poor selection of craft beer (1and the rest were major brands on tap. We had the pulled pork hoagie, Cobb salad and pretzel bites. Sandwich was ok, the meat had very little texture, but good flavor, salad and pretzels were great. Nice atmosphere, we sat outside.

Pretty cool "speakeasy" environment, with good mixed drinks / bourbon and a decent wine selection. Beer selection lacking though. Had some pretty interesting charcuterie boards and with the significant other enjoyed one with a nice salmon and crab dip. The Copper Still Coffee is quite fun as they will on request at the bar light it on fire! Moscow mules are pretty solid as well. Order a few mixed drinks here, a charcuterie board to share and you will have a fun night.4.1/5 stars

We loved the drinks and the charcuterie board. Their soup of the day was very delicious as well. Very cute inside and they have a patio. Will definitely be going back.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly, but slightly slow, service. Great drink selection and healthy portion sizes at decent prices. The beef and green onion cheese ball appetizer was great and enough for two to split. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Hoagie was shredded chicken with bacon bits in a ranch sauce, reminiscent of a chicken salad, which wasn’t bad, just slightly salty for my tastes. In their defense, I had tasted the aforementioned hoagie after tasting their Wild Turkey Cowboy Hoagie, which was the best sandwich I’ve ever tasted...hands down the BEST!! Pastrami, summer sausage, Colby-jack and pepper-jack cheeses, with sweet pickles and Cowboy Candy (candied jalapeños!!!!!!!and cream cheese spread...so many flavor profiles going on at one time it was heavenly in my mouth! I absolutely loved this hoagie!! Definitely worth the drive to Roanoke!

Love the food, drinks, and atmosphere here! The wide variety of charcuterie boards are amazing, especially the seafood board. Although a fairly small menu the sandwiches and salads are delicious! Staff is so friendly! They recently just brought in the Bread Guy, and the bread is DELICIOUS. It’s great to see small businesses supporting other small businesses! The fall drinks this year were also great! Such a great selection of liquor. We love this place and can’t wait to visit again!

Great bourbon selections and atmosphere. Smokey old fashion was prepared perfectly. I recommend sitting outside with the outside heaters on.

This bar is fantastic for whiskey lovers, charcuterie lovers, and wine lovers. Inside is extremely loud, but its really nice outside on the porch.

There was a nice variety of bourbon here, but the food was just ok. We had the wild turkey hoagie and the seafood board. The hoagie was pretty good with a nice portion of meat, the board was just average, the dips although they were supposed to be made in house, were not special, they were similar to what you would get at the Kroger deli. The bartender was very nice and talkative but he was alone and had no help serving a busy dining room and bar rail. Service was very slow due to understaffing and the bartender didn’t have the recipes for the drinks on the board as specials. This was not a great dining experience for the cost of the meal and drinks. We may give it another chance once it becomes more established and the owners resolve the staffing problems. Maybe???

Got to be a favorite of mine. The food boards are delicious and creative. The drinks are phenomenal and the atmosphere promotes conversation in real life!

Omg!!!!! We love this awesome restaurant!!! We have been several times within the last year. Just seeing the staffs smiling faces is so great, thats one reason we keep coming back. The food is always sooo good and the handcrafted drinks too. Thank your for providing an awesome atmosphere. Its worth the long drive everytime.

Wonderful people, great atmosphere, excellent food. For the whiny reviewers complaining about people showing their smiles in public, I suggest you stay at home with your faces all masked up. Then you won’t be traumatized by people who don’t share your fear.

Owners are so fun and hardworking my experience is always amazing. The drinks are the best around and everything is so fresh!!! Highly recommend this bar for the food, drinks, and atmosphere!!!!

Drinks were alright. The part that throws me off is the fact that you believe it is your right to not make your employees wear a mask when serving customers and I guess if you really want to have a major turn off for some customers go right ahead. Usually businesses require all employees to wear masks because it will bring comfort to your guests and make them feel safe while at the same time still getting to enjoy some drinks and a great experience. I guess go ahead and do whatever you feel is the most business oriented way to get people to walk in the door, but for us it was a definite turn off. We will not be returning to the copper still. An idea would be to handle your business in a more professional way and just wear the masks no matter what your personal opinion may be as a business or what you may feel is your “constitutional right”. Remember customers always come first. What an idea right?

Visited because a friend recommended, first the good the place had a lovely setting and that’s about it. The food wasn’t bad but let me just say when it comes the price vs portion size you are not getting your money’s worth. For an establishment that prepares food it is strange that they were refusing to let their employees wear masks, the fact is that I witnessed coughing in the building. My group and I had to wait a long time for our food I understand that they are busy but our waitress did not even communicate with us on why our food was taking a long period of time. The water glasses that were given to my friend and I had lipstick stains on it which was very disturbing. It was a bad experience for me, I see that others have had different; maybe they were having an off day? I personally would not recommend visiting.

Met friends here last night for drinks and a snack and we were all very impressed. None of us had ever been before, but we will for sure be back. The service was great— from walking in & being greeted by the hostess to our awesome waiter, everyone was very friendly. The drinks were awesome, the food was delicious, & the place was immaculate. Excited to have such a great place close to home!Also, this didn’t factor in to my rating since a small business should be rated on its own merits & not in relation to current events, but we loved the sign on the door. Happy to support free thinkers!

Very nice place and delicious looking menu but they clearly do not care about patrons at all as evidenced by sign saying that servers and staff will NOT wears masks during pandemic. Probably should have left but we came from Fort Wayne and ended up having quick drink on the patio and leaving. I was VERY uncomfortable that they had so little regard for safety.

What a great time at the Copper Still. Great place to hang up and enjoy an adult beverage. Clean, friendly, but maybe a little loud from all the chadder. I cant wait until the weather warms up a little and we can hang out on the patio to watch and listen to the babbling Brook that run beside it.

Nice place, tons of bourbon and bourbon drinks to chose from, along with a small craft beer selection, wine, and other spirits. Food menu is limited, but we got a seafood charcuterie board, which was very nice. Service was very friendly. What knocked a star off for me was during the daylight hours, and considering this is for the most part a somewhat upscale bar, the place was far too bright. It just didnt have that intimate, cozy, bar like feel to it. Could be a different story when the sun goes down, however. Also the bar rail itself was very small, 6 or 8 seats. Still a nice place for a high quality snack/drink if you are in the area.
