The store was neat and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I spend nearly no time at all in most of the store, but the food section is great. Lots of great hard to get items.
Taylor was especially helpful and knowledgeable.
Great service, and no shortage or out of stock items. Great selection of food and drinks from around the world that you cant get anywhere else!
Best capers and foreign foods in this area!
Good variety of items but the products were poorly arranged
I had a bad service today with the cashier. I like the store, the products are really great! But an experience I had today is not ok at all, I told about my concerns to the cashier but it did not help, thats why I want to left a review here. The problem was when I asked to wrap separately the Christmas toys made of glass because they may brake in my luggage. The answer I get - we have a tax on paper in Boulder. I get it but it is something very normal to wrap glass separately because its fragile. I did not ask to put it in separate bags, I just asked to wrap them in any kind paper you have. I also mentioned that its a gift and expected to get at list one bag for all my purchases but she didnt give it to me. I think its weird that such a big shop has troubles with wrapping paper or its just a worker...
I like this store. Shelves were stocked and we were able to find everything we were shopping for! Try a little Marmite and butter on crackers for a savory treat.
Love world market. People are so friendly and nice 🙂
Favorite place to shop for furniture and unique gifts. Always something new to explore
Love World Market! 😍 I head straight for the foods. I like to look for different kind of jams and jellies. They have a good selection of coffees and teas. They sell incense, dish towels, earrings, kitchen utensils, decorations from other countries, and furniture, really nice furniture. Also, baskets, cookies, international chocolate, framed art, and art from other countries. It doesnt ever seem to be too busy when I am there. There is a clearance section, but do yourself a favor and search for promo codes... Theyre out there.
2nd visit within a few weeks.1st trip was online & curbside pickup, a great service. Then needed Birthday Cards - great selection and a few other items.Employees are all helpful.
Kayla Hill, employee here, was fantastic. She helped me call a dozen stores to find the couch I wanted for my new home. Her patience, professionalism, kindness, and wonderful customer service skills were extraordinary. I will be back to the store and being asking for her support in the future.
I always love going to World Market. There are so many unique items....food, household goods, clothing, jewelry, furniture, etc...I always leave with more than I intended to get. The employees are always fun, kind, and helpful!!!
Cool store - I bought my live edge coffee table & some lightening/lamps at the Boulder store.
If there were more stars I would happily give them. Very cute store, and exceptional customer service. I got exactly what I was looking and the help and knowledge were fantastic. A big shout out to Jeff, the store manager who was extremely helpful, polite and professional! Thank you, Jeff!
Very clean, great customer service, and I absolutely love their inventory.
Love this store. Varied selection. Great for gifts and to fill baskets with great food and treats for birthdays and christmas. The glassware and furniture is wonderful. Beautiful christmas decorations and cards.
Terrible halloween music. Had to leave the store because how stressful that was. People have enough to be stressed about than terrible eerie music..
Excellent customer service and wonderful layout! Checking out with the cashiers was fun and jovial, the product was diverse and engaging, and I especially love the halloween display up front; really gets ya into the spooky spirit 🎃 Must be fun to work somewhere like this!
The store is very clean and uncluttered. Cashier was very friendly and helpful, with a couple of items I was looking for.
Dylan helped us with purchasing a rug the other day. He was extremely helpful and made our shopping experience great! Well be back to shop for sure.
Always like going in here and looking at all the fun stuff. We brought my nephew here a couple years back and he always wants to go back when he visits. Lol the incredible selection of candy from around the world probably has something to do with that. I had him try those maple sugar candies that are shaped like maple leafs and now it is a must purchase. The staff are always friendly at these stores. Lately I have had a hard time finding some of the Indian food mixes I like at the grocery store and this cost plus had it, woohoo! If you are looking for gifts this is a fantastic place to check out.
Somethings are a good deal when they’re on clearance or on sale, and somethings are waaaay overpriced. But this is a cute store with a lot of good imported food and snacks!Ps. We got Dylan as our cashier today and he was super helpful and kind!
Manager went out of his way to make me and my baby feel clean and safe during the pandemic. The store is spotless. Staff is awesome. Goods are nicely curated, as always, at a good price.
Love this store ! A little pricey but overall its quality items with a large variety. I cant find fluff anywhere around these parts and I found fluff, crunchy biacoff butter, and even moxie! All items that were random and hard (some impossible to find in a normal grocery store.
Not a fan of this location, I went in with my birthday coupon...I had my eye on a cute side table, I found it along with a stupid cat dish...instead taking the 15% off the side table, the cashier applied it to the .99 dish. I felt like a fool
This place has a lot of options for anything you may want. The employees are wonderful. They were out of a rug I wanted and so did my sister and they called a few other stores till we found it and they held it for us at the other store. This employee really could have blown us off and just said, eh...we are out. But he didnt. I highly recommend shopping here and also talking to the employees. They are very pleasant!!
I took my mother today. She really loves shopping here and the deals we found were steller. The customer service really is good at this store.
Super cute, however it is on the smaller side of the World markets that I have been too. I dont mean square footage, more so inventory.
Always a good time at this store. Staff is always friendly. So many fun knickknacks, cute household items, and food/drinks. Pricing is fairly good throughout, though some of the same food items I have seen cheaper at the grocery store. Thats the only problem. Otherwise I LOVE going here.
Nice staff, Very helpful. Good shopping experience. Decent selection on merchandise.
I like the products very much but prices are crazy high (I buy only with a coupon), but mostly the wait to check out that bothers me, it’s too long in my opinion, sometimes I just give up and leAve without what I picked up.So the 2 Stars is for the great products, but only 2 stars because of the wait in line to check out.
Love this store!!I wish I had more room in my home to put more of the items they carry! And their food section is so much fun, and delicious! I buy something new and different everytime I visit there. One thing I do purchase regularly is their coffee, Italian Roast, great coffee and freshly ground in-store. Purchased a French press there as well. Just hope they do not stop carrying that, Id be crushed. Great stuff!!!
Cost Plus World Market is a great store to pick up food items from overseas that may be difficult to find elsewhere. I go for Bisto gravy but they carry a lot of other items you may not be able to find at the standard supermarkets. This location is always clean and friendly.
Amazing selection of gifts and home goods! Prices here are really fantastic as well. The food selection is great with lots of specialty items that youd otherwise have to look harder for.
Fun store to shop at, lots of unusual items, did a bunch of Christmas shopping. Friendly at the check out and helpful floor staff.
I love World Market. This one is a little light on selection compared to the one in Cherry Creek but the staff is friendly and it generally isnt too crowded.
The selection here is so great. Love the style. Only negative is when they dont have something in stock and they wont sell you the floor model.
Really loved the merchandise and reasonable prices! Just thought the employees couldve made the experience better.
Incredibly friendly staff! 😊 I luv this place. They have food, snacks and beverages from all over the world, so I can feel like Im home, back in Europe.
A great place for wares. Maybe its cost effective for some, but not in my price range. I like their selection of odd items (vintage sodas and wax seals for envelopes).
This is a pretty fun place to find that unique gift or to simply peruse. From rugs to imported candies there is sure to be something for everyone. On this particular occasion I was in search of some hot sauces Id received as a gift (alas I have almost devoured all 6, or maybe there were bottles). So glad I found them!!!Saw so many boxes (some were MASSIVEof holiday candies and treats. The cute little marzipan piggies were my favorite (which reminds me that Ive been meaning to look up if it is pronounced mar-zah-pan or mar-zee-pan).Also noted loads of holiday decorations and several varietals of Stollen breads.Ive given this establishment 4 out of 5 stars as I didnt receive a greeting or any acknowledgement from the staffers.Bottom line - If like international treats (I.e. burdock root soda, European kit-katsI recommend checking here as I noted the prices to be more favorable than on Pearl street.
I love their quirky, rotating selection of foods from around the world. Its an awesome place to get fun stocking stuffers.
I bought a Galvin Cafeteria dining table for my clients to use as a place to sit, look through catalogs and even work on their laptops etc; while in our showroom / service center. The pivoting seats eliminate chairs and stools being moved around by clients, and makes it easy for our vacuum to navigate itself without chair legs interfering with it!The design is rather cool, a throwback to cafeterias in old mills and other huge factories. Refined and sized as a home dining table, It was perfect for my alternate use.I heeded the advice of others, store employee was happy to open a carton, so I could examine the wood top. I lucked out, first one we opened was perfect!Assembly requires two reasonable strong people. We assembled it upside down, but in the end, the pictured instructions would have prevented my having to redo one step.Dining sets seem to go on a super deep 25% Discount around November, but this particular set may get closed out without notice, so at least get 15% off in store by signing up for an email "account".Note to World Market, rather than making these products in Vietnam, why not consider resurrecting a large factory complex in Detroit; provide a 10 year production program, and help solve one of Americas problems with unemployment, trade deficits etc? Your buying capacity can guarantee a successful, domestic production capability, and still be highly profitable.Quality control, materials handling, packaging design and shipping logistics in your firm are miserable. Items shipped to clients RARELY arrive on-time, undamaged and without some problem. Your reach, given proper process; could expand exponentially if you deal with the problems.I learned to only buy what is in the store, that I can take with me. That limits your reach. The people working in your BOULDER COLORADO store, and the one I called on the phone in BROOMFIELD COLORADO site are phenomenal. They totally carry your company.Fix your processes, include USA production, and you will BLOW UP your sales
I bought a little metal and wood side table made in Vietnam from Cost Plus in Boulder. It was very light, so I carried it to the checkout stand to buy it. They refused to sell it to me, demanding that I buy a disassembled one in the box or pay them an extra fee to assemble it for me. Since it was late in the day and I and needed to leave town the next morning, I asked to please buy the floor model. They steadfastly refused, but promised me the item was super-simple to assemble, requiring only three bolts. I should have walked out, but I stupidly let them talk me into buying the item on their promise of a quick, simple assembly. BOY, WERE THEY WRONG. I spent two hours struggling to put this stupid little table together, but the bolts were just too big for the holes. I thought I was doing something wrong, but I made two concerted efforts to follow the instructions and assemble the item before I had to conclude it was just an extremely poorly-made item and the bolts just did not fit the holes. I will return it and get my money back as soon as they open in the morning, and will not shop there ever again.
I come here for the foreign foods they stock. The selection is great and I find things here that I dream about finding elsewhere. The home goods are great but can be pricey. The staff is slow but helpful. Fun place to shop.
Fun stuff from around the world, mostly of very good quality. I would have expected more fair trade merchandise, with this being Boulder, but if thats specifically what Im looking for there are other shops around town specializing in fair trade. Because there is SO much in World Market the aisles can get tight, but not usually uncomfortably so. Pricing is reasonable and coupons and their rewards program help.
Ive been past the store many times but only recently stopped in on a whim. We ended up buying two desks that day, which were a great deal and are perfect for our needs. The prices are very reasonable, the quality seems good and the staff is really nice and helpful. The store has a nice mix of food, kitchen items, furniture and more. I was really happy with our purchase, the prices and service.
Love their products and reasonable prices. Our favorite is our Abbot Sofa with lounger, its similar to Crate & Barrel or restoration hardware but half the cost and much better quality than IKEA.
