Great food, great service
Loved it here. Gianna was nice. Food was tasty.
The food was delicious and came FAST! Unfortunately, our waitress dropped off the food and never came back. Never checked on how the food was or how we were doing, no drink refills and never even brought us the check.Eventually (we waited almost 15 minutes after we had finished eatingwe had to just go to the register and ask them to cash us out. The very nice gentleman at the resister had to find our bill because it seemed to be lost. Once he found it, our check had some wrong items on it and had to be correctedIt was the first time we had gone there since moving to Medina during the pandemic, and honestly, Im not sure that we will be back. Its a shame, because the food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced, but you only get one chance to make a first impression.
Weve lived in Medina for over two years but hadnt had food from here in many years. I ordered a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and a side salad. First of all the portions were huge! I made 3 meals out of my dinner. The salad had a ton of fresh cucumber, bell peppers and plum tomatoes. It was fantastic. The turkey slices were thick, tender and plentiful. Stuffing, potatoes and cranberries were very delicious as well. I absolutely will be looking forward to my next meal from this great diner!
Only our 3rd visit here but 5 stars each time, great place fair prices, parking sucks
Overpriced however the food is sort of good
THANK YOU GRANT FOR BEING THE BEST WAITER EVER (THESE ARE THE 4 KIDS THAT SIT IN THAT ONE CORNER, YOUR SERVICE IS GREAT)
Great place to bring the family for a delicious meal!
It is amazing. everything. Nice staff, great good, will probably always go again
Great breakfast diner near the Erie Canal. Good food and service.Ps… bread choices cost more
Definitely lived up to expectations as a classic casual diner experience. Dont go expecting anything fancy, but overall a nice relaxed place with good food. Would definitely return for the sausage gravy and biscuits. Hash browns and chicken souvlaki were also highlights. Wait staff were nice and welcoming. No sign saying this, but you can seat yourself when you walk in. Very conveniently located in downtown Medina with ample parking and lots of other shops in the area.
Huge selection and Great food and Great Service
Always good diner food. Never disappointing and good prices.
Good food but holy crapman breakfast is expensive.
Love going here on Fridays for the fish tacos. Best Ive ever had
♿ accessible at front entrance only, with pull open entrance doors. Rear entry is staired with several steps. Large sized small town diner has many tables & booths.Have been here a few times over many years. Ive never had a bad dish. Great service, even when busy.Friday night fish fries were excellent sized & come in several choices of cooking styles. Not just fried. Also, the hot turkey dinner fully mounded on the plate was quite plentiful, the chicken fingers & julienne salad dinners, too, were all generously filling & very fresh, hot & delicious. Our waitress was a real joy! attentive, friendly & worked quickly & efficiently without forgetting any thing. Without even asking, the cook made pancakes for granddaughter in mickey mouse shape!Really enjoy coming here. Kids love it too.
Love this place. Food is always good and great selection
Clean, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff, great food. Was overall impressed and kids were satisfied!! Check was just over $40 for 4 breakfasts and drinks.
While you get a lot of food, my chicken was on the dry side. The spinach pie seemed to be undercooked. The best part was the stuffed pepper soup which was to due for.
We enjoyed our two trips here while camping in the area. Huge menu. Breakfast options were delicious. Very reasonably priced as well.
Nice food at reasonable prices. I love getting the reuben sandwiches. Ive tried them at every place in town and I think theirs are my favorite. 😋
Decent diner food. Service depends on the waitress. There are good, friendly ones and ones that put their hours in.
Been there 3 times enjoyed it. The other two times where better then the first time, first time felt like we were forgotten about right after we got our food
I have been coming to this restaurant since I needed a booster seat, and while the physical menu has changed but this diner has always been a part of "back home". I know I can meet up with friends for breakfast or lunch, visit as long as we want (unless theyre crazy busy), and leave full and having had a few good laughs.I dont know if the owner has changed hands many times or if the original owner is an immortal who changes identities every few decades and passes it on to "his son", but thanks for always being there when I need to come home.
Really great prices and selection. Friendly and nice place to meet up with friends and family
Good place friendly staff food was good prices were reasonable def go back again
This is my first experience with The Country Club restaurant. I got the chicken supreme (or whatever, the one with baconsandwich. If the name went by percentage of each part it would be bread, tomato, lettuce, bacon, lettuce, chicken. Chicken is last bc its so thin I could barely taste the chicken, I took a picture of it next to a French fry and the fry was thicker than the chicken. I couldnt taste the cheese at all. I was expecting Swiss, thats my fault, I didnt read the entire description.the lettuce had just a tiny bit of brown on it but it was fresh, as were the tomatoes. the bread is good but I guess its not memorable.I am a freak about my lettuce. I have never made a sandwich that I didnt cut at the wrinkles in it cuz sometimes those wrinkles mean it tastes like Im eating straight lettuce and tomato. The fries, again were unremarkable. Some were barely cooked but they are exactly the same as every other fry that looks like that 🤦🏼♀️ seasoned but barely. If Im saying that and they dont season anything here at all... 😳Im a 37yo resident of the nursing home so getting this sandwich was a treat for me. Im really not trying to nitpick, I was definitely happier with the sandwich than I wouldve been eating just my dang cheese sandwiches(at the nursing homebut for $16 total, it should definitely be better. I couldve almost ordered a whole pizza. I couldve gotten 3 little Caesars pizza... but I am grateful for the experience.
Excellent food. Very expansive menu. Friendly staff. Very nice dining experience would highly recommend!
It was super! There were four of us Everyone was very happy with their meals! I had taco salad it was delicious 😋!The place is clean, bright ,the waitress was very nice and helpful. We will be back ! 👍
Great little diner with reasonable prices. Had a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. Fast service with a hefty serving size.
Nice little place! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was great. I do wish they had a kids menu, but other than that I really enjoyed myself here and would come again!
The burgers used to be the best in town. They changed to thicker patty and it doesnt taste good. The rest of their food is on point though and the waitress are really friendly. I recommend the hot turkey sandwich now.
Great service, good food, fair prices, good portions and quality was good. They obviously care about what they do. Thank you hope to be back again some day!
Food is fantastic. Not a long wait at all. Staff are very friendly and respectful. Recommend anyone whos visiting, passing through or lives near by try them.
My husband and I enjoy visiting this restaurant for brunch when we’re visiting his family. The portions are generous, the staff are pleasant, and the food is delicious!
We came here for dinner a few times while visiting the area. The food was delicious every time and dessert was also excellent. I would recommend this stop for anyone who likes diner food or who just wants a good meal anytime of the day.
Great breakfast, very friendly fast attentive service. If Im in the area again I world definitely go back. All at a great price.
First visit there. The suvlaki wrap was wonderful. My husband had the beef on weck. He said the beef was wonderful but the roll was a little heavy. But the wait staff was great and we really enjoyed it!
The food was great. The service was outstanding as well. Food came out fast and was delicious
The food was extremely good and the staff were very accommodating and very friendly, overall an amazing experience.
Love this place. Its become our go to restaurant since we moved out this way. Great home cooked meals, large portions at Great prices. Friendly staff with quick service. We eat here often.
This restaurant was absolutely terrible. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment I felt as if I was unwelcomed. The servers were terrible and took forever to take our order. They were impolite and didn’t make my experience any better. The food was gross. I ordered a sandwich and received no condiments. Then, I had to literally walk to the kitchen to ask for condiments because the waitress never came back and asked how the food was. Top 5 worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. My appetizer and entree arrived at exactly the same time... Lol. I literally can’t think of any redeeming quality this establishment has.
So want to give it 5 stars, but I cant since they are not perfect. But what I can share with you is that we have been coming to Country Club Family Restaurant for over 12 years and we think it is the best local spot. Best service and prices the way locals charge. Will continue to come here as long as I can.
Went there 13 years ago on a date. Ate fried chicken. It was hand breaded and golden brown perfect. Wife just brought home dinner after passing by on the way home. Perfect again. Hand made cole slaw. Who does that anymore?
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at this cute (somewhatlittle diner. Our waitress Cindy was super nice and the food was very reasonable and delicious!!! Well definitely be back whenever were in the area! -Bob from Cheektowaga.
As soon as we walked in everything was clean and the staff helped us and were very friendly. The food was amazing and exactly how we wanted it cooked. The atmosphere is great and we felt right at home...... not to mention how ice cold the beer was! The prices are great for the amount of food you get and the great quality.
We were delighted with our breakfast. Our waitress was kind, punctual and accurate. My ham and cheese omelet was cooked to perfection and delicious. The side order of fruit was a wonderful complement to my breakfast. Each of our 4 orders was met with great reviews. So glad that we found this gem on our Erie Canal bike ride.
Ive been visiting this diner for decades. Was just in there tonight and the service was excellent..food excellent and it was clean and cozy. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The new booths look very nice. I am always impressed with the wall murals..hand painted artwork! My prime rib was delicious and dessert was perfection.
Terrible lunchtime experience. 1st time customer. Long wait for server to take order. Even longer wait to receive food order. Both orders were cold. Baked potato was hard and uncooked. Sorry was expressed by server but nothing further. I look at Medina as an adopted town, but will not return to this restaurant. Too bad, it has an integral location for visitors. I hope they dont treat others in this manner.
A fine restaurant with decent and gullible food and a affordable price. Waitress very formal, educated, and attentive. They type of person that doesnt feel bad just because you ordered only a coffee. My friend ordered scrambled eggs. Ambiance is cozy, clean bathroom and plenty street parking.
