Amazing food, vibe and coffee. All locally sourced ingredients and run by a family that takes great care and pride in their cafe. Theyll make you laugh every time you go in, the dad and son are a crack up combo. Im a repeat customer for life.

I went to Cream Town on my way out of Castlemaine, headed on a 3 hour drive home. It was one if the only cafes open early enough for me to grab some coffee and brekky before my journey.I was so pleased with the coffee and breakfast sandwich I got. I looked at the sandwich and already knew it was going to taste amazing!Highly, highly recommend this cafe if in Castlemaine. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Just in the short time I was there, I could tell that there was genuine care for the service and product, as well as for the people that visited the cafe. Definitely returning next time I’m in the area.

Always enjoy the coffee and the community at Creamtown. How the barrista makes such a great drink with oat milk Ill never know but I cant wait to have another.

So homely. Super friendly staff! Delicious lunches. Sit out the front to people watch, inside for a family home feel, or out the back in the courtyard to enjoy the sun. Love it here

The best service and one of the best coffees in town. Thank you so much, enjoyed the friendliness, smiles and all round pleasant and welcoming atmosphere in a quaint corner Cafe. Came back for a second coffee on day 2 to be pleasantly surprised by a different barista making my coffee to the same delicious standard as the first. Consistency in quality is key, when back in town will surely step back in again. Recommend to anyone who wants to walk away happily enjoying their coffee.

Cream Town is everything we have needed! At the heart it’s a community hub, a place to go and lift your spirits, and surrounding that warm fluffy community centre is good quality local grub, beautiful art on the walls, yummy coffee and lots of smiles!!

My wife and I went to Cream Town with the aim to sit in the courtyard for coffee and have coffee and light brunch. We were given directions by an employee who said they would be with us but never came back. Asked another employee, same result. We were invisible! Having not been served at our table we opted to get takeaway coffee, waited for some time but the coffee was quite good. Nearly 30 mins total just to get a coffee, ended up having no time for brunch.

This is the greatest cafe and one of the most heart-felt places I have ever had the privilege being a part of. My family and I feel so welcome we relate to Cream Town like our other home... our public home. They make such efforts to truly look after and welcome everyone and do the right thing. All the food is local and biodynamic, simple and yummy. The coffee is excellent (critical!). The customers are excellent (they attract the best people!). You can work on a laptop for hours and feel welcome, you can make requests, hang out, eat formal. If the world were like Cream Town it would be a much better place!

Their haloumi is the best. Their pickles are the best. Their brioche buns are the best. The breakfast bun and biodynamic beef burger they came in were the best. Give Cream Town a go when in Castlemaine and enjoy the areas finest breakfast and lunch spread. Thanks!

Popped in on a sunny morning for breaky. Lovely courtyard, relaxed n friendly service and great eggs and fruit bun. Baked tomatoes were a smash. And of course a very nice ☕️ and we liked the hot choc but be warned it is not sweet. Happy as.

Great little spot with friendly service but if youre looking for a place with reasonable prices, this is NOT your place. Prices are on the steep end. $10 for 2 pieces of toast and $6 for 1 piece of bacon which had a lot of fat on it. Coffee was also just okay. Nice place to sit outside but will leave hungry with an empty wallet.

Great food, fresh and presented well but....... $34 for eggs bacon mushrooms on toast with a cuppa tea was hard to stomach even with the 10% surcharge on Saturday. Lots of other options for around the $20 mark.

Unfortunately my partner and I had a disappointing experience at Cream Town.Upon arrival, we were disappointed to hear that there was a shortage of food supplies, and we struggled to find anything suitable to eat on the menu.We ordered the bacon and egg brioche sandwich. It had hardly any bacon in it. In addition to this, only sourdough bread was available.Despite not having all the ingredients for the brioche sandwich as indicated on the menu, we still had to pay full price.

Very excellent black coffee. Lots of spaces, each with its own charm. Outdoor area particularly appealing with the classic dappled light effect. Strongly recommend

I just adore this cafe. As soon as you walk in you feel at ease and so very welcome, nothing is ever too much trouble. One of the best places in town to get coffee and my greyhound very much looks forward to her visits. You dont just feel like a customer when you visit this great little place you get treated like a member of their family. Its very unique. Go Cream town!!

Came for breakfast in a large group today .Food did come out very quickThrough the fact I was charged $6 for not even a mouthful of bacon which was only fat and asked if they had gluten free which I was told they had and came out as a wrap? When I went to pay the front of house was surprised by the gf saying they don’t have bread but still charged for the wrapAnother in our group had hair in the eggs and staff turned around and rolled her eyes.

I have been to Cream Town regularly (whenever I am in Castlemainefrom the time it opened, and it is my ‘go to’ spot to meet friends and family, have a beautiful coffee or two, enjoy some of the delectable food and snack offerings, and to soak up the unique atmosphere of this special place. The staff are always engaging and thoughtful, and it is truly a pleasure to go to this café and art space.

I had the most delicious brunch and I honestly dont understand how they made the side salad on my plate so tasty... seriously. Gorgeous place, love the art and the overall vibe was very chill and enjoyable! Highly recommend. A hidden gem in Castlemaine!

Cream Town is definitely worth a visit. Layout is chilled, the service is excellent and the coffee would rival anything you find in Melbourne. Oh, you must try their version of baked cheesecake, delicious!Jenny Makros

Poor service. Had to ask for water, cutlery etc. No toilet paper. Lots of flies over our table. $6 for a single slice of bacon with our eggs. Will not be returning.Edit to respond to owner: as you can see from my reviews, I love sharing positive experiences. I only share negative reviews to warn others when I cant get the attention of staff at the time.

This is my all time favorite cafe in castlemaine. Great coffee, awesome people. I feel so welcome everytime I come. The coffee is excellent. The food is locally sourced organic and ethical. A must go whenever in the maine.

It was great to be served by a group of people that really seemed to enjoy their jobs. First experience in a café that is based on organic produce and ill be back. The flavours were great service was fantastic and pricing was good.

Beautiful spot for breakfast - amazing food and lovely courtyard garden. Coffee was perfect too. Just visited with my 11 month old and had a great time, highly recommended.

A lovely spot to hang out and has great potential to grow. The coffee need a bit of tweaking / improvement. Being lactose intolerant, I’d totally recommend using Bonsoy, Almond Lab and Oatly for alternative milks. It will make such a huge difference to the texture/creaminess of the coffees. The pure harvest products are not the best fit for a cafe. Would also be great to see more plant-based / vegan options on the menu as well. Overall the chai latte and mochas need some improvement too (the milk to chai/coffee ratio needs to less otherwise it feels a bit watery)There is great potential guys, don’t let it sleep, go for it! I’d love to be able to call this place my favourite cafe and visit more often.

As long as you have plenty of time to wait! It took 45mins for our fruit buns to arrive. Given the Covid situation they may have been caught off-guard by the influx of people (possibly short-staffed.Food delicious however, and the cafe very popular.

Good spot and table service was friendly. My oat latte was very disappointing, tasted like flavoured coffee water. When paying I told the waitress and explained I barely drank it, she didn’t seemed concerned and just said hopefully it’s better next time.

Utterly impressed with the space that has been created here! Part gallery with art for sale covering the walls, part cafe alongside serving amazing food and drink.. all producing what I believe to have been the best cafe experience I’ve had in years. Polite and friendly staff also.. which was an extra bonus for me on what had been a really morning.

this place is buzzing - great QR Code checkin, good queuing signage, quick order taking (can even do it on line from your table!- sanitizing procedures between customers - the number of filled tables tells the story - all socially distance - even the footpaths on both streets filled with happy customers - good coffee, tasty food. Cream Town is such an amazing online platform for artists to showcase their work and is super accessible for anyone wanting to adorn their walls with some sweet prints. So much work has gone into making this site both beautiful & functional. Keep up the great work guys!

Incredible platform that supports local artists. To be able to pick from such a diverse range of art, by such talented local artists, for $100 and from my home, is just the best! This is an incredible initiative, if every business had the values of Cream Town we would live in a better world. I want all the prints!!!
