This place absolutely fantastic!!!! Great food at a fair price. Smiles and Coffee!!! I highly recommend!!!

Jasmine was a great server and quickly became our new friend. We moved away from Monett about 8 years ago and only come through occasionally. We ran into several old friends. Definitely a great gathering place. Compliments to the cooks. The food was great.

Small cafe, older place, mom and pop if you will, now very friendly staff does two or three jobs each food is very good lots of variety . Missouri omelette with biscuits and gravy was excellent.

So me and my husband were just passing through and decided to eat here and it did not disappoint I got the chicken strips with fries and it was delicious my husband got the biscuits and gravy and he loved it so on our way back through We decided to stop again and have breakfast this time since I didnt get to try it and let me tell you I got the meat lover breakfast skillet and it was delicious definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back

The food is typically pretty good. This visit I had a patty melt and fries! Great flavor would eat again. A time before I had the meatloaf and it was not great and completely covered in way too much brown gravy that wasnt the best tasting. Burgers are the best! And I love the steak fries! 😋

Had a few problems with this place starting off outside parking lot was dirty and run down. Upon walking in servers were not friendly. And quite sure ours for our table was high on some type of drugs.Food was edible thats about all I can say about it. After working in restaurants most my life I can say this is one of the worst places I have ever been.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Food was tasteless and service was horrible. Took forever to get some over to take our order and food didnt even come out at the same time. Saw multiple tables get service that came in after us. Server with coffee came by 3 times without refilling after trying to flag her down. Never will come here again.

I had a call in order and wait 45 minutes before getting my order. I ordered one skillet. They told me it would be ready in 20 minutes, drove there after 20 minutes, and proceeded to wait 25 more minutes for one skillet. I wont go back. Their service was not good. The food was pretty decent though.

Much better experience than last time. Nicer waitress/waiter. It was Tuesday, so I had the taco Tuesday special. Tacos were good. Also had a slice of strawberry pie because it was my birthday. Enjoyable experience. Much better than before!

Good service, basic food taste, pancakes were good.

Service is never outstanding, but the food is good and the portions are generous and well priced.

The staff was friendly it was clean and decorated good. The food was delicious and there was plenty. Would recommend it to everyone.

The buffet was great. You will not walk away hungry.

3rd time coming to cubs Cafe and as the times before food was pitiful, hashbrowns undercooked server forgot multiple items on the order, I got a partial refund on the food that was missing, they need to get it together if you are in the mood for bad food and bad service this is the place for you!!

We tried Cubs for the first time today.The menu is huge, covering breakfast, Seafood, Steaks, Mexican, Italian, and diner sandwiches.We had no idea of the extensive menu so we ordered an appetizer sampler while we browsed. It could have been the meal for 2.The wife ordered the catfish, I got steak and eggs. The steak, a 12 ounce ribeye, was 10 dollars cheaper than a steakhouse in town. It was a super tender piece of meat and cooked exactly as ordered.Our server, Jaden, was friendly and knew the menu so was able to answer questions we had.All in all, an outstanding experience and the food was well worth what we paid for it.

Great service, good food, and decent prices. Good prices were before everything went up. Theres still the best price on town for what you get.

My family absolutely loves this place. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious.

Breakfast was mouth watering! They have a great selection, stop by on your way to Cassville or when your out for a Sunday drive and enjoy their Sunday buffet, I hear its pretty good!

Very disappointed. Supposed to open at 6. Didnt open till 6:20 same thing happened last time I tried to come. Everything on the menu is $10-14 even for the most basic breakfast, way overpriced. So I just got the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was so watered down it wouldnt even cover the biscuits and parts of my food was fridge cold. Ordered a fruit smoothie but was told that the person that knows how to make them hasnt came to work yet. Very disappointed 2/10 would not recommend. Will NEVER eat here again.

I came in, we got some drinks and everything so far so good. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and my family got breakfast meals. The spaghetti tasted like microwaved chef boyardee. The meatballs were dryer than the Sahara desert an italian person would cry if they had to come anywhere near this monstrosity of spaghetti. Almost threw up, 0/10 wouldnt eat spaghetti from this whole entire town again after such an experience.

Great service, everyone was so friendly. Food was incredible. Steak was cooked to perfection. I’m a truck driver and I hope I’m around for lunch so I can get some of their fish. Great little place to eat

This place is AWESOME!!!!!!The menu selection was large and not your typical “greasy spoon” food either, although there are the regular menu items to pick from. I’d have to say that they CRUSH Denny’s,I-Hop, and Any other Chain Restaurants! I’ve only had Breakfast here but I’m Confident the other meals will be fantastic! I decided to skip the normal breakfast stuff and try the Huevos Rancheros! Mmmmmm!!! Delicious!!!The place has Tons of seating and the wait staff are on point and on their game! I would never have suspected such a Diamond to exist where it’s located just outside city limits of Monett Missouri. There is plenty of truck parking too!

Went here after hiking in Arkansas. Food was delicious and brought out in huge, affordable portions. Will definitely stop by here on our next trip through the area!!

Excellent menu and food, but a little pricey. If you go, you must try the steak nacho supreme. Holy cow! Its AMAZING

Second time eating here and I didnt think they cod top my last meal. I was wrong!! The chicken fried chicken was the best I have ever eaten - and I was a 4star chef for 35 years!!

Went there for dinner last night for the first time. It was freezing cold. Then go to pay bill and with no notice they charge you a sir charge for using a debit card. The food wasnt very good either. Chicken strips were very touch. Husband got a burrito with no cheese or anything over it. So wont go back!!!!!

Wanted Dr. Pepper. Sold out. Got tea and it tasted old and a dirty tasteTook over 20 min to get appetizer. Chips and salsa.Waitress seemed VERY out of it. Eyes very red.Our whole table ordered fish meals. After we all placed order we asked for extra tarter sauce to be told “ they were out.” Glad we asked before meal was placed because none of us would have ate it without the sauce.( send someone to the store to get some lol)The food we ended up changing our orders to did end up to be VERY good. The portions are more than plentiful. A couple of us ordered Mexican dishes and I would definitely order Mexican food again from here vs other local Mexican restaurants.

The Sunday buffet was incredible with a great variety. The service was top notch; friendly, efficient, and prompt. The French toast with the mixed berries was fantastic! So glad we gave this place a try. Completely worth the stop!

The food was amazing, although the service itself was slightly lacking. In spite of not being very busy, our server was not very attentive. It was very difficult to get her attention. Eventually one of the other servers stepped in to pick up her slack. The portions were a little smaller than I would have hoped for the price, but well within reason. We had the Diablo burger and a Peach Waffle Combo. It all tasted heavenly, and the wait time was very reasonable. They have a large variety of food, including breakfast all day, burgers, chicken fingers, seafood, and Mexican, so there is sure to be something for every taste!

Hadda buy two this place is the bomb and homemade hotsause is in point

It was a great experienece! The food was perfect, the service was perfect, just and all around perfect experience! It was homie which was perfect because me and my husband are truck drivers and we dont get a lot of home cooked meals just a bunch of truck stop food, but we came here and it was like having a hot home cooked meal and everything was fresh! It was amazing!

We got there about 10:15am 9/7/20 today told us we could sit anywhere she came over gave us our menus our drink order which we all got water, came back over took our ordersWe understood they had big table to take care of first. There was 2 others couples that came in about 10-15 mins after us got their food then there was a party of 3 that came in way after so my husband said if that is not our food we will leave wow it was not ours but the table of 3 that came in way after us.When traveling my husband likes to support the local cafe’s but this was not very good service especially when you serve everyone else.....we could of been home instead of waiting almost a hour.

Dont let the history of restaurants at this location fool you. This place is AWESOME! I always get the fajitas, but Ive heard the burgers and chicken sandwiches are great too. I do have to say that one of the waitresses is very rude, though. While the food is great, she made it so we wont be going back.

The restaurant had a very welcoming and homey atmosphere when you first walk in. The waitress had a really sweet and friendly personality. She was really attentive and always made sure to check to see if everything was okay. They pretty much have anything you could possibly want on their menu. Come hungry, because they serve really huge portions at a very reasonable price. I ordered a steak burrito and it was absolutely delicious.I could not finish it all. Will most definitely stop again.

Being a otr trucker my husband and I eat at ALOT of different places but this little place is by far my favorite! We got the lunch buffet and oh my goodness. Everything I tried is amazing. Especially the potatoes! Their fried fish is perfect! we will definitely make this a permanent stop if we come through here again!
