CVS in Greenup County
Privilege
Today I had the absolute worst customer experience ever at any CVS. Got an ex called in for my 10yr old son for Tami Flu. Went to pick up and was told they are out of the capsule but they did have the liquid. However they flat out refuse to fill with the liquid form without the Dr.’s consent. I went back to Urgent Care to get Dr. Consent and was told they don’t need consent. I called back and asked again to fill the Rx that I was told they do not need Dr consent. After 2hrs of driving back and forth, walking in/out, phone calls (45 min on hold at CVSI asked them to please call KDMC urgent care and have the Dr give consent. They flat refused again to make the call because they didn’t have enough staff to make a phone call. I will NEVER do any business with or patronize CVS ever again. I will take my Rx business to Stultz Phamacy from now on and buy any other supplies at Walgreens, Walmart Dollar General or Kroger.
MoreTheyre rude there and they never have certain medications in stock. Its unreal. How do you run out of medications? Is someone not ordering them. The pharmacy techs are VERY RUDE
MoreThe black lady at the drive through may be the rudest person I have ever dealt with.
MoreThis is Tjs wife, Courtney Martin. I scheduled boosters for my children bc we are traveling spring break. We had our original vaxes last summer. The website didnt mention that we needed to bring our vax record cards and the gov portal says we do not need them for out boosters anyway. The male pharmacist said that we had to have them to prove we already hadnt had several. This was of course ridiculous. No one would sign off on several and if I was that crazy I would just claim it was our first shot. Not to mention he is just lying to us. He was very rude from the time we walked in to the time we left. Did not want to be bothered.
MoreCVS discriminates against Medicaid recipients by not allowing them to pay for delivery of prescription drugs. They blame the insurance provider. The insurance provider did not create the prohibition, this is obviously a CVS Corporate decision. I will be contacting Kentucky Medicaid at the first opportunity to report the discrimination.
MoreThe pharmacists are very nice .
Very nice staff
Very nice checkout staff. Manager on duty was real close to me, never even said hello of it I needed help. The cashier did all of these things and took me to what I was looking for. As usual the regular staff are the heros. Mangers just make more money and take the credit. They should be the ambassador for the store X10
MoreThis CVS is horrible. It takes HOURS to get your medication and the line in the drive thru is always long. I just spent ages waiting in line only to be told my medication (that was called in this morning & its now after 6pmwould be another 40 minutes to fill. This is absolutely ridiculous.
MoreToo slow
This store is wayyyy over priced!
The service is so slow and painful to sit through. I called the other day and they said I just had to walk in and get my prescriptions. Now they said I have to wait a hour.
MorePharmacy is so slow now & Employees are rude!!!
Went to just buy some candy corn at 5:30. The boy working the counter was very rude and disrespectful to me and my grandpa. One star
MorePharmacy is incredibly slow. There is always a line. You could have a prescription called in and go straight to pick it up and by the time you get to the window or counter they should have it ready cause you have to wait so long. The rest of the store has always been great but Im having prescriptions called in somewhere else from now on.
MoreI wish this review could allow me to give it No Stars! This review is only of the Pharmacy! They are terrible! I called in last night to speak to someone about getting my prescription refilled of my insulin because I was out, they said we will get it put in for you. Then hour later received a text saying it wasn’t time for my refill and I had to wait. So I called back and they said no that’s not right we will get it filled. Next day I called back to see if it was ready and had to speak with the pharmacist he said it did not go through but I will put it in for you and you can pick it up tonight. So I head over to the pharmacy at 6:00pm and was told it wasn’t ready they would expedite it and it would be ready in 1/2 hour. I left and came back 1 1/2 later and was told they were out of stock! Why could they not tell me they were out of stock when I spoke with the past three people. They called another store and they were out of stock too! This is Friday night and said it wouldn’t be back in stock until Monday! This is not the first time it’s happen. Some of the staff are very rude and I hate that I have to use this pharmacy due to my insurance. Worst pharmacy I have ever used before! The Ashland store has never gave me this kind of run around. If you don’t have to go here then don’t period!
MoreVery friendly staff. Always go above and beyond.
This review is only of the pharmacy. My experience with the rest of the store has been good. The older pharmacist that is often there at night is very nice, helpful and friendly. I have never had any issues with him. My dog was dying of cancer and we had some obnoxious neighbors that were upsetting him to the point of having seizures, so our vet gave me an Rx of ativan for him with 2 refills. My regular pharmacy was closed as it was late, so I headed over to CVS. That first visit was great and they didnt ask any weird questions or treat us poorly. The next time I came in with a new Rx for the same thing, the woman who was running the cash register demanded my drivers license "for your protection". My protection? Do I really look so bad that you would mistake me for someones pet? It said K9 on the Rx and was signed by the Doctor with DVM after his name with the office name and address. She insisted that I had to give them my license or I couldnt get the medication and that it had always been that way! It was only a month since I had been there for the last refill. I ended up giving it to her rather than cause a scene and have my dog go without his medicine in case the neighbors acted up again. When he needed a refill, I had it transferred to my normal (in more ways than onepharmacy and have never had anything else filled there. I even spoke to a deputy sheriff I know about it and he said there was no such law or policy that he knew of and the whole thing was idiotic. Go there at your own risk is all I can say.
MoreLove the store part and staff but the young girl in pharmacy is a rude little girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 star rating if not better and for store pharmacy is a negative 10!!!!!
MorePharmacy lady was amazing!
This review is based on my experience with the retail section of CVS. I have never used the pharmacy at this location. This store is cleaner and roomier than the Ashland store. The workers are friendly and helpful. One took the time to help me shop so I could get the most of the CVS Extra Bucks offers. I wish they carried NYX though.
MorePharmacy is absolutely terrible. My prescription was supposed to be on automatic refill and was never filled. Also, was told my script would be ready by and certain time and when I arrived at that time I was told to return the next day. Terrible service. Dont go here.
