Pharmacy closed in middle of day

Didn’t bother giving another chance when i ordered a refill at 12 pm and on the next day at 8am when i went to pick up, i was told it wasn’t ready and they didn’t even have the refill order… Lol i called my doctor in the parking lot and switched pharmacies immediately, especially with how the store looked, not very sanitary or organized. Proceed at your own risk lol

Slow refilling prescriptions, two day adventure.They’ve also forgot to use my insurance for a prescription. Hassle getting reimbursed. Had to call national CVS

Lady that answers the phone in pharmacy is very ignorant and rude. A minor miss communication with my doctor and the pharmacy. Been with them for years and that is how you get treated. You always get a smart answer and attitude. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Not handicap friendly. They have ramp in a parking spot if car is parked there you can not use ramp.

Absolutely horrible. Staff are all ignorant and not helpful. You can never get ahold of anyone on the phone and they do not try to help you. Changing pharmacies.

Lost my heart HEART MEDS after my Dr died of covid. Asked if i could get a refill which i had 4 of and was told by the actual pharmacist "Id better get a doctor or im gonna die" and LAUGHED and hung up. Jokes on him he already filled 4 scripts from a dead Dr. PRETTY SURE THATS ILLEGAL. GUESS THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH NEEDS A CALL. AVOID!!

I went to cvs in Altoona on plank road Aug 7 2021 the hours outside said closing 9 pm it was 5:55 and they were closing the doors so much for following a schedule and customer service is out the window

Doors locked 6 min early and man working refused to let me in to get emergency medical supplies for my child. Horrible.

Got my 2 doses COVID vaccines here but remembered the wrong day for the second dose. I felt sorry for the inconvenience but everyone was welcoming and friendly. A lot of thanks to the nurses and staffs at CVS!!

Great Pharmacy!

This used to be a great but the last couple of prescriptions werent charged to my insurance even though they said they tried and it was not covered. I KNOW its covered! The lady was rude and would not retry. I called the insurance company and they didnt even try to bill the insurance! We need these medications and cant pay for them. Not bothering with getting my prescriptions here anymore.

My boyfriend went in to pick up money gram as he asked an employee a question another employee who is off that day arrives and cuts in line in front of my boyfriend and her and the cashier made fun of him and they both joked about it. Then the cashier informs the other employee that he was behind her. No respect at all. When will the people in this world grow up and stop their childish games. Act your age not your shoe size.

Regrettably had to give a star to say they lost me and my script business before they got it.In a competitive w rite aid to lose

I dealt with the pharmacy in both my visits. The gals in there helped me tremendously with my prescriptions and I had a great experience there. It was easy and quick both times!

Store was well organized and very clean!! Staff was very nice and helped us find exactly what we need. I wish more cvs stores where like this one!!

I am rating the services of the store NOT the pharmacy. The pharmacy is 5 starts all the way. If you offer a service such as Money Gram your register should be stocked and ready for any amount needed. Being told that you havent made enough money in so far is unprofessional and a failure as a store. All services should be stocked and ready for consumer usage. This is a complete disappointment and should drop Money Gram if you can not comply with the standards of Money Gram at 10 AM.

Very quick and friendly, even during a rush. The Pharmacy staff is very helpful in filling prescriptions when Im in town visiting. Excellent service! Thank you Altoona CVS!

They never contact you when your script is ready to pick up. They are rude and smart with you every time you pick up or drop off. Today, I found out that theyve known for 5 days that I was out of refills for a necessary medication, but neglected to inform me that Ill be out of medication until they contact my doctor. Ive had enough.
