I dont leave reviews often, but felt this was necessary.I go to this Cafe often. Ive taken many people there and also recommend it to others. Today, I was sadly disappointed by the lack of understanding and customer service from the chef.I ordered eggs Benedict on English muffins. The eggs were cooked just fine, but the English muffin was soggy and showed no signs of being toasted. When asking the waitress (who was lovely and accommodatingif the muffins should have been toasted, she agreed and took the dish back to the kitchen, but came back out moments later stating they had been toasted.I took one bite of the muffin, and can confirmed they were not toasted at all.Usually, I will just deal with this kind of thing and not make a fuss, but this really bothered me. Could have easily been resolved with further toasting the muffins, yet the chef refused to accommodate.Ill also note there werent many customers at the time we sat down, so they would have had ample time to re-toast the muffins.The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the waitress was really lovely and I made it clear this was not her fault.I wont recommend this Cafe to anyone anymore. They lost a local customer today.

The price to halloumi ratio is insane. $20 for the tiniest morsels of halloumi. Dont stinge out with the cheese, dudes, its weird.

Nice atmosphere good food, clean, great place to catch up with friends. Had coffee and cake, then decided to stay for lunch.

Disappointing customer service and coffee. Took them 5 mins to notice we were waiting to order - the person serving took a phone call before taking our order, and without apologising or acknowledging us. After ordering, we waited 15 more mins for 2 takeaway coffees. The coffee was decent, but unfortunately not worth going through such an arduous process.

I rarely leave reviews but that avocado smash was bang on delicious! Great portion size, well presented crunchy and tasty!

Newly renovated, same subpar coffee, same poor customer service. What a shame.

Everything tastes fantastic. Banana smoothie and BLT, so good.

Had iced chocolate. Looked spectacular on arrival at table. Rich, lots of icecream and no ice, large glass with interesting design (like a Maori or Indian totem). Was excellent - so good I had a second. Thoroughly recommend.

One of the best cafes in the upper North shore.

Could not get a simple order like a chicken and salad roll correct. Ordered and received without the chicken. When asked about this the chicken was provided almost instantly and clearly not made fresh. Food is below average at best. Have ordered food/drinks here twice and on both occasions customer service was horrible and would agree with most of these negative reviews on this cafe. Would strongly avoid.

Cant get a simple take away order right.. last chance was today, and they completely got it wrong again and I had to wait over 30mins for something that wasnt the right thing anyways. Go the next coffee shop up next time.

If I could give this place a minus rating I certainly would. Waited for over 30 mins for my takeaway only to get home to find half of it missing. Mistakes happen of course, but it was the attitude of the person with whom I spoke when I called to complain that was quite unbelievable. The most appalling and rude customer service I have ever experienced. Never again. Note to the owner: your staff are doing your business a great disservice.

As always, good coffee is to be found here. Friendly team. A nice place to sit out in the sun when Covid over

Used to love this place. Have been coming here for many years. Recent renovations are a bit of a let down. None of the usual food in stock or on display. Had to settle for what was supposed to be a chicken wrap. Consisted of salad and one small thin slice of chicken loaf cut in half. Wouldnt even call it a chicken wrap. Dont think Ill be going back after today

We went to Munch for lunch on a Thursday and found the food to be excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. The seating was well spaced and social distancing protocols were well observed.We thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips as well as the prawn caesar salad.Well be back.

Staff, service, coffee very goodAvo mash - couldnt finish it, so acidic, you can see avocado, tomato, onion but all you tasting was citric acid.

Local Cafe at West Pymble Phillip Mall. Good quality coffee. Ideal for quick bite to eat. Family and pet friendly. Reasonably priced meals. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Munch is following covid-19 safety guidelines.

Wonderful cafe. We stopped by during our journey to fill our tummy. Few of my friends tried Avo smash and much iconic brekkie for the first time and they totally enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Thanks guys!

Quality but not outstanding food. Disconnected waitress was interesting. Nice outdoor seating. Pleasant. Worth a visit. Good coffee. Great gluten free options. Parking can be a bit tight. An interesting cafe in a very old style suburban development which makes it a worthy tourist stop and better than the busy nearby Pacific Highway offerings. Definitely one to try.

Much better than brick lane expreso...better selection...nicer staff...the owner of brick lane spread a rumour that the antique store did a runner...Thats not true it took two months to move

Had an awful experience here.The food is lacking and the atmosphere cold and unwelcoming. Cheap decor, cushions looking like theyre from a charity store.The worse was the food. We were served tasteless eggs, brown and days old avocado smash on burnt toast. The waffles are the kind you would find at a supermarket - sugary, bland, hard and so tiny. Cheap syrup on top.Overpriced for the sub par quality.The staff were friendly and servics was quick but theres definitely room for improvement.

This is a truly lovely cafe. The coffee is as good as it gets. I had a pumpkin frittata and it was delicious. Thanks! My partner had a brewed chai tea. She said it was really really nice and her lemon cake -yum

There is nothing much wrong with this cafe when it comes to coffee. As with many cafes they are used to making lots of milk based coffees and so failed to perfectly make my mac (with only a little milk), but not by much.As the flavour goes... the Di Gabriel is not horrendous, nor something I would travel out of my way to get.
