Dairy Queen Store in Henderson County

Stopped at DQ for a drink, only one car in front of me in the drive-thru. Instead of pulling the car in front of me up to wait for their food to cook, DQ left the car sitting there. After waiting 15 minutes, I hand the lady my debit card and she tells me that my drink is $5 if I’m paying with a card. I let them keep their $5 Diet Coke, drove a couple miles up the road to McD. I got the same Diet Coke for $1 in under 1 minute.

Great place to eat. Great service.

We drove 30mins to get here and they were not open. Five other cars where there too for serve. Internet reads open till 9pm on Mon. Very disappointed in management.

You just cant beat a Burger ,That they cook That they cook. Place was clean food was hot.

Im a truck driver and was happy to see an area for truckers to park nearby with a 2-hour time limit. This restaurant was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The food is good and the prices are good, too. I will be happy to go here again!

We come here every Friday to get ice cream. One of our kiddos relies on sign language to communicate and the ladies there learned sign just so they could talk to him! So awesome. These employees go above and beyond!! Thank you for being such a great place!!

Even after a mistake they get 5 stars. They work hard with short staff. God bless those that do double duty for the same pay. Id have to ask for more. Lol

Food was fine. People who ordered after us were being substituted buns, etc. We dined in & our order arrived on 2 different kind of paper plates. They seemed to be running out of alot of things. Poor ordering.

Been here several times and the staff and service is always great. They really hustle to get the order out. A local eatery for many and I can see why. Good job.

I really enjoyed lunch from this Dairy Queen! It was like I remembered Dairy Queen tasting like 30+ years ago.

The employees at this place are absolutely worthless. A slug has better customer service than the individuals that were here close to 8pm 7-30-21!

The young lady waiting on us was super nice, real good at her job. When back in this area we will be back.

Love the steak finger basket. Im from Tennessee and they dont have it at TN Dairy Queens. So when I visit Texas I make it a point to get it.

I was out exploring the backroads and small towns. The moment I felt hungry I knew it was time for some DQ. Friendly folks and great food. Sensible policy on masks and social distancing.

I wanted a mocha moolatte. Theyre machine wasnt working, but they offered to make a shake with the espresso instead. I stressed that I would want the chocolate in there too, and she told me thats what a mocha is... it has chocolate, in what sounded like an annoyed tone. There was nobody in front of me & I ordered the 1 item. They took what I felt was pretty long to make it. When I got it, it looked more like vanilla with coffee, than a mocha, & I decided not say anything. They had to charge me $5 to use my CC, but did give me the change, but I havent heard of a chain ever doing that. So it was odd. Then I tasted the shake, & in fact, it tasted like there was little to no chocolate in it. I was disappointed at every point in this visit.

I really enjoyed this Dairy Queen for two reasons. Firstly, the customer service was to notch! Service with a smile! Secondly, this location has BUTTERSCOTCH for a dipped come!!! It is truly rare to find a DQ with butterscotch! I will be going back!

The food was good as well as the service I received. This is a review for the fact that besides the trainee who took my order, not a single person I could see including those making the food, were wearing a mask. The one other front of house worker wore it on the mouth only. Its just irresponsible, especially when you have so many people coming through and youre making/handling/breathing on their food.

I wanted so badly to give 5 stars but this location does not work with the app. The food here is old-school out of this world and the people are friendly and very customer service oriented.

Maybe they just close when they feel like it? We rolled into the drive thru at 8:15 (they usually close at 9). Lady stuck her head out the drive thru window and said that they were closing early and shut the glass.

This particular Dairy Queen has been one of my favorites since we discovered it about 5 years ago food is always excellent

Im not sure what the issue was this day but service was extremely slow. The people were nice and helpful with the menu. The food was very good. I will give it another try but my expectations have been set.

Ive been going to this location for almost thirty years and usually its really good and great service but today I went and got 2 beef taco salads and 6 tacos. All of it was awful! Soggy and no love in it. Sad...

Service was mediocre but I found a piece of plastic inside my chicken fried steak sandwich. We took it to go, and about 5 minutes later we found a live cockroach crawling on the bag and we were in the vehicle so it couldnt have come from anywhere else. I think they were bothered my friend asked to substitute chicken for ground beef in the nacho salad. And the fact that our skin was brown, but lets not even dive into that. Wouldve gone back but we were just passing through. Wouldnt recommend this location at all, and weve been there about 4 times up until this last one.

Went in there today in a truck, told me I couldnt go in the lobby go through the dive though told me I had to be in a vehicle. Really! Started once to pull my truck up to the dive though and wait! Went to sonic and got a hamburger. No more dairy Queen for me.

Always get good food at the Trinidad Dairy Queen. I call in orders on my way home, & pick them up. Orders are always correct, & the staff is friendly.

Terrible Dairy Queen !! No Taco Tuesday!! Everything more expensive than other DQ’s !! The Workers were in a big arguing fight right in front of everybody!! Stay Away !!

New DQ in Athens. As always a new place had some growing to do. But not DQ, please work on making the ice cream cones fuller. My cone was shaped like a polish sausage, the sundae was just as bad. Come on DQ keep the signature look.

My boyfriend and i drive through here to get to my moms house to see my baby sister and we stop here on every drive ever since we received really awful service from them as a running joke, and out of all the times we have been here and actually gotten good service (correct order, timely service, politenessdefinitely outweighed the one time we got bad service, i think they replaced a lot of people at some point so it got better, now everytime we go there my boyfriend gets excited

Pretty good DQ. Plenty of veggies on the burgers. Fresh and hot fries though they could have been crispier. Friendly service.

The DQ was pretty good but I experienced a stomach problem after eating there I probably will be back even though I had explosive diarrhea for a day and a half

When I ordered nachos deluxe they had no refried beans, no jalepenos, no sour cream. Just a little meat and cheese over chips, small portion compaired to all other Dairy Queens. I always love Dairy Queen nachos. When I asked about it I was told, "this is a privately owned franchise and you will have to pay $1.09 per each nacho topping that is missing?! Dont falsely call yourself Dairy Queen when you are clearly no where close! False advertising to get you in the door, then they rip you off! bad business!

Loved the old school feel of this DQ, the food was delicious. The staff was awesome and so friendly. The restaurant was clean and welcoming.

LOVE this Dairy Queen. Locally owned and managed with that small town feel. Staff is friendly and involved. Food is fresh, made to order and for the most part orders are made correctly each time I’ve gone. Asking for certain extra items is a must here as not everything is included (ex: sour cream with the taco salad). Overall, a family friendly place to enjoy a good fast food meal. 😊🍟🍔

The food is great and always fresh and hot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The negatives are the prices and they charge for every little thing. I do mean every little thing, even a glass of tap water. Even if you have just spent $50, which is very easy to do. You also have to make sure to ask for gravy, sour cream, etc. or you will not get it. Even if it suppose to come with you meal, such as steak fingers chicken strips or nachos. Love this place and eat there all the time. But seriously bring your BIG wallet because prices are high.

My family has been going to this establishment for years, and today the employee got rude with us and tried to charge us over 50.00 for three combo meals. They have lost my families business. I hope charging for every little extra is worth it.
