Got here first thing the other morning for an inspection and oil change… was out in 30 minutes. Super nice!!!

Great mechanic! He got me in and out quickly. I was in for an inspection and he took my car right away and got me out in record time! Honest and fair mechanic!

Great first time experience. Dan is friendly and nice guy. Look forward to future help from this establishment. He has coffee in the waiting area which seats 6 chairs and TV for comfort. Clean and cozy. Love the sunblock in the front. Went in for a inspection and waited no more then 45 min if that. Thank god my car passed. See you soon.

This was the worst experience I have had with any mechanic ever !!! Dan is a crook!! I do not advise anyone to go to this shop . I took 2 cars to Dans shop to be serviced , he told me he diagnosed both vehicle’s and he could fix them. I called a few days later after leaving the cars with him and he stated the cars were completed and then called me back 15 mins later stating only one was complete . I went back to his shop to pick up my cars and he told me I would have to pay him for both cars before he can release them to me . I paid him ! Started driving the car he said he fixed and I still had the same problem . I called him to let him know nothing was fixed and he said he tried his best but previously informed me that he had completed the work and the car was ready with no issues he Stole $700 from me . Nothing was done to both vehicles!!!!! I strongly advise you not to ever go to this shop. Dan makes you think he is a nice guy trying to give you a discount but really he is upcharging you to pay his employees and the work is not complete .

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR UHAUL THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. Just when you think you cant get ripped off theres always another scam. Pick up my truck i reserved to rent, first off i want to get from a different place way closer and Uhaul changed my reservation to here. Dan who works here helps me, give him my ID and debit card. He says ok and gives me the keys. Asked me for estimated miles and charged my debit card $459 immediatly. I ask about the gas , he looks it up and tells me to bring it back at 3/4. No reciept or rental agreeement printed and given to me. I get in the truck and write the mileage in a text to myself. I had to load a truck myself drive over 200 miles to binghampton ny , unload myself and drive another 200 miles back. Last thing im thinking about is getting ripped off by a uhaul spot.Bring the truck back gas right, all the information in my hand Miles in and out and this guy goes ok ill email you your bill. No reciept, no rental agreement with the costs , mileage. I had to insist he looked at the gas. Then shows me just the finial total on a tablet , no mileage agian. I know exactly how many miles i drove LEARN FROM THIS. Uhaul wouldnt do anything because i didnt have photo proof. i got had for $119 extra that somone used on the truck. I can care less about your response, this will cost your business a lot more then $119 scammers

This is coming from someone who has used Dave and gotten to know him. I was a mechanic but got hurt as a firefighter and cant do alot of my own work anymore so I did my research and spoke with Dave before allowing him to work on my cars and I discovered he is a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic who cares about his customers. I hope this helps you if your looking for a quality mechanic who loves his job and takes pride in his work.. A good mechanic is as important as a good doctor

Been going here for a long time. Always completed in a timely manner. Upon getting a new car I first went to the dealership i purchased it at for some issues and they kept telling me the car was fine despite returning multiple times bc it was obviously not fine (brakes literally didnt work). Dan found the problem in 1 visit.

Great auto place.

Needed a inspection and oil change. Took me right away and completed the job in a timely fashion. Staff is polite and knowledgeable.

Honest and goes above and beyond for customers.

Very unreliable service. Did not fix the 2 cars we sent in. They told us that everything was fixed, yet both cars have broken down within the same day of "repair". We checked in with another person/company and they said the wires inside were still outdated. Would not recommend under any circumstance.

If you love your car dont go

I’ve known Dan for a while and he always did solid work on my cars, which were more than 10 years old and sometimes had major repairs. He’s honest and really cares about each customer.

Been bringing my vehicles in for at least 10yrs. He would inspect my vehicles and b4 even doing anything he would go over what needs to be done and even times i could not afford some of the repairs he would help out and either cut cost of some labor or work on it to cleab it up so it will meet reaquirements. Never did my wife or I feel like he was being dishonest like other shops are. I read previous review about how honest dan is and its spot on. We just bought a truck and feel like we are not getting the whole truth about the truck. So we are taking it to dan for oil change and a look ovee because we know he will tell us the truth even though he is not the one who will benefit from it. Now tell me another mechanic like that ANYWHERE. We are glad to have met and found champion auto and even told other people to go to him

Best shop in the area. Dan will take your vehicle in his shop and explain the entire process of what he did to resolve your issue and even talk about the challenges he faced if their were any. He’s the most honest mechanic on the island! Very professional!

I was vey upset with the unprofessional service. Way overpriced. A true thief. He said he fixed it and I have proof from another mechanic I went to that actually fixed it for half the price. Dan the thief. Stay away!!!!!
