Went two weeks ago for oil change etc on my 2021 Genesis G80-this was by a previous appointment.About 1 hr ride, when I got there I was told they didn’t have an oil filter or cabin filter!!Waited 2 weeks for parts to arrive, drove back and they filled up my tank and washed the car for my inconvenience.Pretty nice!!!Thx.
What an incredible experience I had with Darlings! Dan in Sales was an absolute pleasure to work with- honest, genuine and extremely knowledgeable. It was a zero pressure environment and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.Nate in the finance department made the purchasing process quick and easy.I am so happy with my 2023 Hyundai Palisade! Buyer/seller beware! Unscrupulous business practices within. Lowball trade-in values, and high interest financing relative to market averages! I strongly suggest looking elsewhere…
My vehicle was waiting at this service center for over 3 months to get an engine replacement. When i went to get it after the repair was completed, I was informed the cost would be over a thousand dollars more than the initial quote. The total for parts and labor was over $8,000 which I believe is much higher than what other shops would charge.A few days after the engine repair, the vehicle broke down again due to a starter issue.
Traded in my 2018 Ford Focus and purchased the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. All the staff were very friendly and the building seemed to be well kept. I was informed that Darlings does not up-charge their vehicles and they certainly didnt which was relieving. Dan, the sales man, was very informative and came in on his day off in order to help me officially purchase the Hyundai Tucson. Definitely would recommend working with Dan and this dealership to anyone.

With a former 23-year career in retail sales, I set the bar high when it comes to my definition of outstanding customer service. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Grace Dunderdale of Darling’s. Not only did she meet my customer service standard, she knocked it out of the park! We purchased our last two vehicles from Darling’s, and having been delighted with the entire experience, both sales and service, when the time came to replace our 2013 Elantra there was no question where we’d go to find our next vehicle. Grace listened to our wish list, and then promptly set out to connect us with our dream car. She was AMAZING!!! She took the time to show us the vehicles we were considering in great detail and helped us settle on the vehicle that was right for us, which she then promptly tracked down. She kept us informed throughout the entire process, and made it an effortless, fun experience.My husband and I would be amiss if we didn’t also share that we found each and every member of the Darling’s Augusta staff that we encountered while purchasing our new car embody that same high level of courteous, caring service and commitment to customer satisfaction. And don’t even get us started on bang-for-the-buck value…Darlings knocked it out of the park there, as well! Jon Condon made the financing process incredibly easy, and Jason Decker and Jim Englehardt were incredibly helpful, as well. I’ve forgotten his name, unfortunately, but another member of their staff very patiently walked us through the techy bits of setting up out blue link account and was also amazing to work with! The entire experience rates a ten a thousand times over. We didn’t simply find our new vehicle, which we LOVE, but we also forged friendships.

Whenever I go to Darling’s I am always greeted with friendly faces who listen to my needs with my vehicle. They explain when they find issues and the impacts of fixing versus not fixing. I never feel pressured to make unnecessary repairs to make the dealer more money.
This is the second car I have bought from Darlings and the service is prompt, customer friendly, and impeccable. I recommend them often to friends and family.

Went to Darlings... Unsure of what I would want to buy if I wanted to buy anything... I am a disabled vet who has a tendency to be nervous around people... The staff at darlings specifically the finance department and Ted and sales treated me with the utmost respect and kindness... In this environment we are living in I think everyone is a little afraid to deal with car dealers or any place they have to stay in for any. Of time but these guys are super great and I would recommend them to any

Darlings performed a major scheduled service on my 2019 Kona. The arrival procedure was efficient with covid safety in mind. The staff was professional and kept me updated on the progress of the service, which was completed ahead of schedule. I was offered a ride to any location in Augusta. My overall experience at Darlings was very positive.
We had repairs made to our AC system. The problem came as a result of an accident we had several months ago. They made the repairs and dealt with the insurance company, and we paid nothing. Thank you.

Any time I am at Darlings, I am greeted with a big smile from Devon. He is always so friendly and accomodating. He has great people skills. I have seen him interact with other customers and always treats them with respect. He can answer any questions I have about my car and will keep me up to date with maintenance issues I would not have known about. The rest of the crew that I have come in contact with are also very friendly. I will not go anywhere else to have my car worked on.

My wife and I went in last weekend with the intent on purchasing a 2nd vehicle as we have been a 1 vehicle family for quite some time. I am not a fan of car buying in general, have never really liked the "experience" of it, but this experience was different. It started with a phone call and speaking to Brandy who listened to what I was looking for, asked a couple of clarifying questions, and set an appt for the next day for us (Covid-19 is changing the way dealerships can do business). We showed up the next day and were immediately made to feel welcome by our salesman, Toby. Toby was phenomenal to deal with. He was down to earth, never pushy, and bent over backwards to help us. Great sense of humor always helps as well! We looked at a couple of new vehicles, but just couldnt make the number work to what we were looking for, but in the end we found a great used 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe which we were able to make work. We will absolutely use Darlings (and Tobyagain the next time we are in the market for a car!

I have had a great experience with Darlings Hyundai in Augusta,Maine.Had serious issues with a 2016 Ford Focus that I had leased through another dealership, Yankee Ford in South Portland, Maine. I received very little assistance from Yankee Ford or Ford Motor Company with the transmissions issues with my car. It was a well known issue with the Focus and eventually Ford ended up taking the car back.A friend of mine suggested that I meet with Paul Watson, who was her Salesman. Paul was nothing but honest, sincere and extremely patient with me. Paul even went above and beyond to help me navigate the process with Ford buying back my car.Then we sat down and discussed options and vehicle makes and styles. Again, Paul was awesome with the whole process of buying versus lease and from a financial standpoint, it made sense for me to lease my 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night.Honestly, if there has ever been an issue service wise, Devin Greenier has been my go to guy. Devin and Paul are a credit to Darlings and I hope they receive the recognition. One time I had to go out of town for funeral and I had a service issue. Devin was able to squeeze me in that same day and get me on the road so that I can attend the funeral.I would highly recommend Darlings.
Took my car in on a Thursday because the hatch back would not work. First repair, putting in a new "module" did not solve the problem. The service people then appealed to Hyundai to cover 95% of the cost of new "struts" to lift the back door, which they did. Finally got repaired by late Wednesday evening. Darlings advocated for us to get this repair covered, which is appreciated.With an oil change, Darlings usually vacuums the front seat area. This time appeared to have vacuumed just the driver side. Car had not been vacuumed the last 2 times it was in, as well.Took the car back the next day (Fridaybecause something else was not working. Was able to get the car back in for service on next Monday. Service people were quick to respond to the issue. Now to get it fixed!
As usual., everyone was really nice and informative. I got a ride in the courtesy van because I didnt have one to work and the woman who drove was very friendly (also as usual, there is a guy who is nice as well).
It was a very pleasant experience. Everybody was polite and helpful and they washed my poor car that was coated in road dirt and salt I really appreciated that.
I am always impressed and satisfied when I get my car serviced at this dealership. Highly recommend!
Very pleased with salesmanship answered any questions wanted to look at truck and said he would have it gassed up and ready to go by the time I got there and it was . He wasnt pushy and when I need another vehicle Im definitely going back

My go to local Hyundai dealership for service and cars. There staff is great to deal with especially in the service side. One of my personal favorite things they do is when you bring your car in for service they hand wash and vacuum out your car for you along with top off of window washer fluid. Costs of service is about the same from other local dealers, I believe its $60 an hour. The typical oil change and tire rotation is never over $70. Ive been using Darlings for the past 5 years and would recommend them to anyone.
Service was terrible, it was awkward walking in, all the sails people stared at me, I waited for almost 20 minutes before receiving any help. They are not consistent, they do not treat everybody the same. My mom got a good deal and they offered her $1500 for her 2009 Ford Fusion that needed rocket panels, front end alignment and had a hose leaking. They offered me $2500 for my 2013 impala which has a brand new engine and needs zero work done. Even though they valued it at almost 8 grand. They were not helpful at all, I put in a application for a truck and was promised I would hear back from them the next day about what the banks said. They blew me off and I never got a call back or anything. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF.

Some of the staff here are friendly but when me and my fiance went there to purchase a car we found out only her on the loan would be most beneficial. After they found that out, I was treated as if I didnt matter even though mostly my income was going to be paying the loan. I felt unimportant and very disrespected by most of the staff. My opinion didnt matter, and even today when my fiance when in to cancel the service agreement because I told her it would be better for us of we did. Nate in the finance office told her that its HER car and HER decision. My fiance doesnt know much about finance so at that point she was just confused because I told her one thing and Nate told her another. He will saying anything to just keep his commission. Im very upset with how they have treated me, especially Nate in finance.
Love the professionalism of the staff. The waiting area is very comfortable to the point waiting there is not a big deal, but if youd rather go somewhere while youre car is serviced they offer a very convenient a shuttle service to anywhere in Augusta. Top notch all around!
Just got a accent from them. Paul was was the sales person I dealt with. He communicated threw e-mail with a family member. knew my situation, and was able to get me into a brand new car.

Leased a brand new vehicle ( 2017 Santa fain May. It has less than 9000 miles on it and so far the radio had to be replaced and today the engine control system broke down. I had to wait 2 hours in the cold ( about 25 degrees outside)because I was afraid to leave the engine running ( it smelt like something was burning).My fiancé had to go rush and pick my kids up so they wouldnt be stranded at school and I had to miss out on time I could have been spending on my finals that are were due today.The only slightly helpful one was the service manager Devon. The manager kept saying things like “ vehicles break down sometimes” and “ no one likes to be inconvenienced ”.... yes vehicles break down but we spent a lot of money on getting this newer vehicle so we wouldn’t have to worry about this and it was way more than an inconvenience. On top of that they only had one loaner which was a compact car with 2 wheel drive which is gonna be fun shoving my 4 teenage kids into and driving in the snow tomorrow. At least I got a car I guess, they almost didn’t let me rent it because I’m going to be the primary driver and the insurance is in my fiancé’s name/ they needed to see the newest card. I called my insurance company and had them email it over.After all that the lady from the front said “ there’s a full tank of gas in there, would appreciate it if you’d fill it up before you bring it back”.The whole ordeal was painful and we felt like the manager just wanted us out of his hair.I can’t wait for this lease to be over so I can never go there again!!!!!
I bought a used van from Darlings on 12/16. In 4 months time the van was falling apart. Door seal gone, cracked exhaust, blind-spot detection system gone, automatic doors wont open. A complete lemon. Nothing they will do.In November 2017, I took my Ram, that I bought from another dealer, to Darlings to have recall work done. An hour tops they tell me. 3 hours later I get my truck back. I was told the technician broke something while fixing the recall. They fixed it tho. However they washed my truck afterwards with my power tools in the bed of the truck. Im already late to my job, now I dont have the tools to do my work. Talked with the GM, he laughed at me and told me hed be in touch. That was two weeks ago.Ill never recommend Darlings and Ill make sure every soul I meet knows it.
