The actual furniture that Lincoln used in November 1863 before the Gettysburg address was in the bedroom. Very nice exhibits.

Great experience seeing the bed where Abraham Lincoln slept. A lot of other great artifacts.

Interesting piece of history and one of the oldest homes in Gettysburg. More information about Lincoln’s visit and Will’s political influence than time pieces in the home. If you’re not interested in the history then this probably isn’t a must see for you as there isn’t much furniture or decorations in the home.

Everything is so well done here and the videos are definitely worth watching the whole way through. My jaded father in law even hid his teary eyes at one point he was so moved.

Plan an hour. There a two videos (only a few minutes eachbut the host had some great insight and there are interesting displays

Nice museum IF you like reading signs. For those of us who prefer a personal tour, not worth the visit. I hoped that the house would be more as it was in 1863. The only room with furniture was where Lincoln slept.

You have to be a history buff, but if so, and you dont know the importance of David Wills- definitely check it out. Maybe a 25 minute stop if you dont watch the videos that play.

Beautifully maintained. Too be able to be in the house where Lincoln stayed and finished his Address is just awesome.

Lots of historical facts. But the rooms are dark hard to read the postings.

Very interesting place to visit. Setup by National Park service so most of the house is just displays of stories or videos. The only room that was set up as it had been back when Lincoln stayed here is the bedroom he slept in. A good history lesson for homeschoolers!

Travelers, we really enjoyed visiting this museum. It is loaded with information about Lincoln and the civil war. This is where Lincoln finished writing the Gettysburg address. The entire town of Gettysburg is serene and peaceful and it seems strange to walk through town and places like the Wills house and know what happened in those walls. I wish they could talk. We recommend getting your American history lesson. Enjoy.

This was the place where Abe Lincoln stayed overnight before giving the Gettysburg adress. Very interesting and gave lots of insight to what was going on during and after the civil war.

This is a very informative museum. There are lots of interesting signs to read telling about the Gettysburg Address and the establishment of the Gettysburg National Cemetery. There are two short movies to watch. Also, you can see the bedroom where Lincoln slept the night before the Address. Our group was mostly children, and it wasnt the museum for them. They were done long before the adults. Just too much reading for them.

Amazing experience at the David Wills House today. David the docent, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many wonderful details about the history of this house and how the owner played a huge part in Lincoln coming to Gettysburg. Extremely education. The home itself is incredibly done with pictures, handwritten notes, and short movies that really take you back to the year 1863. The white bedspread on the bed in the pic is confirmed to be the one President Lincoln actually used. If you love history this is a must see while traveling thru Gettysburg.

We learned a lot about Gettysburg history from touring this house. The guide was very friendly and helpful. Will take the G kids back again in warmer weather to see more of the surrounding things.

Was not sure what to expect going there. But I learned a lot and really enjoyed the tour.

Need a history lesson...this is the place. Dont forget to visit the rest of the town. Summer hours are different from of peak hours.

Pretty cool place that displays where Lincoln stayed and finished editing the Gettysburg Address. Also very cool to see some of the effects the war had on the small growing farm town.

Very interesting and well preserved. There are individuals on both floors of the museum to give you more information about Gettysburg during the war and address topics of individual interest.Best part? Until December 31, 2018, this museum is free!

A must see if youre in Gettysburg. The home is beautifully restored to when president Lincoln slept here the night before delivering the Gettysburg address.

Where Lincoln wrote/finalized the Gettysburg Address. Self-guided tour is informative. Good background on the development of the National Cemetery.

This well maintained and thoughtfully furnished with memorabilia and films and display provides a view of a pivotal moment in our countrys history - President Lincolns Gettysburg Address.

Not worth the price. Nothing in there to see. In the summer it is free, so take advantage of it.

Anyone who appreciates military and US history will absolutely love Gettysburg and the Wills House is a must see while there!

Very much enjoyed our visit to the wills house museum. There were lots of facts and details to find outSome of the exhibit was interactive. We enjoyed the videos and the building itself was beautiful. My favorite thing was the mimi scale city of Gettysburg.

History should be studied and remembered so that tragedies of the past do not become tragedies of the future. The Wills house perfectly captures what happened during the horrific battle at Gettysburg, PA.

We only saw the David Wills House from the outside, so I cant really give an honest review of it. Gettysburg has lots of history and historical sites, homes, etc to see and visit. You will need multiple days to see everything. We had to pick & choose what we wanted to see as we were unable to do it all. What we did see was great and may do a return trip in the future to cover some of what we didnt have time to visit.

We were slightly disappointed. Dont get me wrong, the house and the information displayed in the museum was great but we expected more period furnishings (such as the room that Lincoln slept inand not mostly empty rooms with small exhibits.

Very Large menu sets my expectations at mediocre food. Thats what I got.I wouldnt plan to go here again.

Although it is a small museum, the exhibits are informative. No interactive exhibits for small kids, but the was several short videos to watch.

This is the same company as wills house in boot hill. Smells of the colour green and post teenage angst. Occasionally spot a wild bear and Rasputin in their natural state. Well worth a visit. Ew.

Great find. $6.50/adult admission price to see where Lincoln slept, wrote the Gettysburg address, and the house if the lawyer who commissioned the national cemetery. Very cool piece of history.

I saw the bed Lincoln slept in, the articles of his grooming and touched the very bed post Lincoln touched. That by itself was awe creating. The cost was negligible Dont know what the other rater and the unimpressed children on this page expected. May I suggest Disney?

With the exception of the bedroom that Lincoln slept in this house has been so modernized its lost all its historical charm. It would be fine for an adult very into history but doesnt really show you anything new and wasnt interesting for our children at all.
