supervisors are very disrespectful everytime i come here . i thought we as tax payers should be treated with respect not like the people working there are doing us a favor

The staff were courteous and knowledgable. I dropped by for help to know if I assembled all the needed docs to obtain a Delaware license. With clarity and knowing the missing piece, Ill confidently return.

I will stick to the one in Wilmington first time at this location and it was a horrible experience. Went in got my number got called i.was missing a document went to get it came back only to tell me.i needed receipts of repair to get a second temporary tag. Why wouldnt the first employee tell me I needed receipts? 3 hours later its closed now so I have to wait till tomorrow to try this again. Time wasted. Attitude is horrible . No customer service skills. They look so annoyed smdh. I dread going to any state buildings.Wish they were a little more helpful and polite.

Definitely one of the worse experiences I’ve ever had. When I got here I told the lady at the front what I was here for (tags), she was too busy talking so maybe she didn’t hear me and she gave me ID. So I waited for a bit and realized she gave me the wrong thing. I went back up and said something to her and she had a attitude about it but then gave me the correct one after she finished her conversation of course.I get to the window and the lady is new so she can’t help me. She call for someone else to help and he comes over and tells me to go to his window. That’s fine, I did it. But it took him 20 min to come to his window. During this time he walked away maybe 6-7x to help other people didn’t excuse himself just walked away while I waited there. Co-workers come over and interrupt him while he is working with me and again no excuse just cuts us off talking and ask whatever they want to ask.This place is horrible !!! Derrick (station 8is rude and probably shouldn’t be working here. Tried to make it seem like I didn’t have $80 when I was only asking a question of WHY…. He needs to revisit some training sessions

EXTREMELY SLOW today ... there was only one vehicle ahead of me, and i sat there for 20 minutes. Then it took 20 minutes to do my inspection. However, VERY FRIENDLY employees. So the wait wasnt as bad as it could have been 👍👍

Funny to see how Angry the employees are here at this location not only the inspection lanes but also drive thru when paying wow they are very condescending & cut you off when asking a civilized question Yikes

clean environment. Safe environment for everyone. Not a long line as many clerks were available. Even the vehhicle inspection area sped by relatively fast.

If you get in MS. Os line for help she will give you a VERY HARD time no matter what you are there for. She is very very RUDE.

I went in to the DMV to get my license renewal.The personnel was very friendly and it only took me less than five minutes to get my license renewal at the counter and the young lady behind the counter was very very courteous

I had a bad experience at the Delaware City DMV today. Long wait very rude clerks. Wasnt pleased. I used to rate this DMV the best but new staff has really run it in the ground.

Surprisingly it was better than expected. 30 min total. The inspection lane was no line no waiting. Staff at the drive through was exceptional.

As far DMVs go, this is one of the better ones. Clean. Efficient. Never too crowded. And most of the workers here are nice.

We got here right when they opened at 8 am to take care of title paperwork. Fast, very friendly and patient service.

Im very impressed by how they service so many people with reasonable ease. Skilled staff, personable consideration of everyones needs. It sure beats standing in the multiple corral lines of years ago. Job well done!

License renewal through kiosk was easy and quick, only gave three stars because employee who gave my license to me was super rude and miserable.

The DMV is so much faster than it used to be. I cant imagine being much better than it is now. Im sure people from other states will be jealous.

Today i I came here at 10:45 and i done by 12:45. was out with a renewal registration and car passing. It’s not fair to stand 2 hours in lines for working peoples.

Um, never ever expected dmv services could actually be efficient but this place is amazing. Fast, clean, and told me appropriately what paperwork I needed. Other states need to take a page out of their book.

Services with a smile. Nobody enjoys a trip to the DMV the staff here are professional and polite. Be nice.

I went to the DMV today to test for my CDL A today,I was nervous as hell but the examiner Brad calmed me down,he said Im not here to fail you Im just here to watch you show what you know,the load was lifted I was given the whole truck to pretrip and the dreaded 90 alley dock,I made it and hit the road test,again very easy way of giving instructions made me calm and I passed,then I met Jose who helped me at the counter gave me his sofrito recipe and congratulated me I feel so good tonight.Thanks to DMV for having great competent people who work there.

A+++ Experience. Everything is rather efficient for such a busy and large-scale operation. Most customers are in and out within 20 minutes. They have almost 40 customer service representatives working simultaneously to handle the volume of people. They also have a handful of kiosks for convenience. I definitely recommend the Delaware City DMV for all of your driver-related services.

Staff in both the inspection lane and main area for a vehicle inspection and registration were pleasant and professional. Efficient DMV, very positive experience.

Review pt 2/2(cont.of the NMI. Its a US territory. Why do I need to be the one the one to educate employees at government agencies on where it is and if its a part of the US. And why do I have to have employee talking down at me as if Im not just as American as they are? Its sad honestly. After all the backhanded remarks and attitude given from the staff, I did not even get an apology from the ones who made them. The ONLY person who apologized to me out of the 4 people that were trying to help me was the ONE guy who was nice at the end and didnt even need to apologize. So thank you to the man in the wheelchair who was sitting at station 23 yesterday morning 06/06. You were the hero of the day, and sometimes being nice and understanding to customers is JUST enough.Other staff members, take notes from him!! and catch up on some US history! :)

The waiting time isnt that long, usually 10-20 minutes max. Not crowded to the point your shoulders are touching with strangers. The only complaint i have is the road test preparation. They dont provide cars to take the test, you have to bring your own. However what if I dont have my own. Then it becomes even more frustrating because they recommend for you rent out a vehicle, but how can I rent out a vehicle with no license- so now im just stuck in a loop hole. Oh- and another thing they recommend is to borrow a friend or family member car, but that option is thrown out the window since family is not in the state and friends are nonexistent lol. However you need to have them present... Im tired

I’ve had to visit here twice since moving here from NC & BOTH times I was in & out!First time, I had the truck inspected and got my DE driver’s license…out in less than a half hour. Two weeks later for my title, registration and license plate…same thing!Anyone complaining about this particular (Delaware Citybranch either weren’t prepared or are just miserable lol.From the helpful folks as soon as ya walk in to each person I encountered at the windows…knew their jobs and smiled as they were helping me (well, maybe not the inspection lane, but he was helpful!).Ya get what ya give, folks!

Staff at the entrance was very helpful. Inspection went smoothly. The lady at the vehicle title booth was very helpful, excellent service today. In and out in less than thirty minutes.👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The DMV in Delaware City are still taking good germ safety precautions by sanitizing separate booth areas after each customer. Tip: Go to DMV during the middle of the month during the morning hours you will be in and out in no time!

In and out with a cdl license transfer with several endorsements in approx. 25 minutes. The clerk was attentive, answered all of my questions, truly impressed with this DMV.

Really bad customer service. I actually had to educate 3 DMV employees on how the state license renewal works and gave them a lesson on international drivers licenses (which they claimed to know everything about)I cant imagine everyone who works here is miserable. But God, today, whoever was staffed at renewal and the front desk... You embody the stereotype that all DMV employees are miserable, ignorant and hate the world.Dont take it out on us that you work there.1 Star because the wait time was fantastic around 12PM on a Tuesday.Other than that, it looks like the DMV needs to issue new employee guidelines, packets, whatever they can do to improve their staff because theyre downright awful and very uneducated.Stop being rude to nice people.

I came here at 8:15 and by 8:50, i was out with a new title, tag, registration and passed the cat inspection. The lady helping me was very nice and kind. Go early if possible. You will get everything done in an hour or so IF you have all the papers you need.

Blown away at how quickly we were in and out. My wife and I both had to do new licenses with a name change and we were in and out in 30 min! They had the services rolling incredibly smoothly!

I brought a family member in to renew an ID card. The man at window 29 was very kind and accommodating as my family member has mobility issues. He went out of his way to help us with the process. Thank you!!

Went there on my day off, just after 1:30. After a twenty minute wait time. Got my car registration, license renewal and a new veterans ID card. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. Not Bad!

Out of all the dmvs Ive been to which is quite a few this is the best fastest and easiest one Ive ever been too. The workers are usuallt nice and friendly but theres a few bad ones of course like any place. Usually its not that busy and if they are it goes fast longest I ever waited was a hour there compared to the 4 hour or longer wait at the Wilmington which is horrible I think. This is a very nice clean and easy place to go to and get what you need quick highly recommended to everyone!!!!

I must say this place was not bad. My experience at this one was pretty good. For a place like this everyone was very friendly and efficient. The inspection line was kind of long but it went fast. The guy at the front entrance had people sign in and write down your number so they can call you when ready from your car because they have limit. Being COVID times and all. It was a good system. The wait times where much faster than expected.

Never thought there would be a day where I would leave a review for the DMV but here we are. Never in my life have I had such a good experience with a DMV. I have lived in two other states and neither has been anything like this. I got my license, my car inspected, new registration, and transferred my title in 1 hour total. Plus, I walked out of there with license and title in hand. Try doing that in PA. So impressed by Delaware!!

Love this facility! Even if its crowded there is plenty of space so youre not sitting too close, which is nice, especially in these Covid times. Ive always received fast, courteous service here from very pleasant employees. Plus, in and out- fast service.

Delaware folks know what an experience the New Castle DMV trailer was. This place inspected and had a new registration in hand in less than 23 minutes, during the Wednesday after work rush. Night and day improvement, I highly recommend.

Had a a little bit of a wait for car inspection but the people were very pleasant and it was very easy and convenient

The map says theyre open but theyre closed. Still have to wear a mask.And both DMVs have unpleasant people working there. some have attitudes.If I had to pick I would say this is the better one out of the two went back to this one and finally got a decent person.Oh and I see some people right "the line move quickly"..... Well personally if you go in the early morning the line might move quick. I wouldnt count on it if you go there later in the day. Just saying

Best DMV Ive been to, far better than ones Ive encountered in California & New York. Beautiful, clean building, very helpful staff. Went in with 3 items to accomplish and left with them all completed in a reasonable time! The only thing that could be improved would be the ability to make appointments online.

Normally dont have a problem here, but yesterday 6/15/21 the guy working station 13 around 1230 had a horrible attitude, was unhelpful, and seemed genuinely disinterested in providing customer service. When we were (apparentlydone he handed the papers back and said nothing...as a test I kinda lingered a few minutes to see if he was going to say something (I also honestly wasnt sure if we were finished), so I finally asked if we were finished and he confirmed. I was not being unpleasant in any way. He was perfectly content letting the long line of people behind me wait instead of doing his job the right way. Also the ticket lady at the front counter was miserable too.

Best DMV in Delaware, hands down! Amazing workflow to get us in and out. You can check wait times online to better plan your visit. All COVID-19 safety precautions were being followed. Make sure to double check all your paperwork before leaving!

This is the best DMV I have ever too. very nice & very clean. Great customer service attitude. very well organized we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. I would like to thank management and I hope that they keep this place great and always upscaled. The most important thing is great customer service and keeping the place clean.
