This store is recommended on the TimberTech website. The only problem is no one helps you. At least not me. I walked in the decking section for 30 minutes and rang the bell for assistance and still nothing. At least I got some Trex and Timbertech color samples I can now take to Tague lumber and order since they actually acknowledge you when you walk in the door. I did return to the store a few days later along with my wife and had the exact same experience.

The yard has a great selection of hardwood and exotic lumber. The shop does an excellent job at producing small or large runs of custom millwork. I’ve used them several times for matching custom or antique millwork with excellent results. Expensive but you get what you pay for. $300 for 60’ of custom trim and the setup charge was 2/3 of the cost. It would have taken me 3 days with my tooling to have produced it. We’ll worth the money.

Lots of lumber choices and very helpful staff.

Love these guys. They are a great place to get hardwoods, building materials and supplies near Philadelphia. Probably the best place for hardwoods like walnut within 40 minutes of the city.

Unbelievable customer service. Took a large piece of wood here that was warped and not squared. The shop manager and I talked about my vision and he gave me several options. All of the work was reasonably priced. I tell anyone that brings up woodworking about this place. My wife wants to do a wall in barn type wood. I’ll be headed back here to look at the wood yard.

Called ahead for millwork to be done on old barnwood siding. DCSC said they could perform the shiplapping and planing no problem and instructed if any nails were to damage the dado or routing bit I would have to replace it. Great no problem bring the wood in. So I rented a trailer and drove 2 hours to deliver it to the store just to have them say they couldnt do the work. No apologies just backpedaling and dishonest.

Very friendly and helpful

The business has some friendly folks and not so friendly folks. Some are glad you are there, some cant be bothered. If you use the services of the wood shop, they quote you one price and then the price was quite higher. It would be nice if they called you and told you. I have used them a few times.however I dont think Ill be back.

They have a very good selection of hard woods ruff cut or planed . Helpful staff.

DCS is Truly "The Best Place" in all of Delaware County to select Prime Hardwoods. Their Mill is one of the Very Best around and Second to None. Extremely Helpful and Knowledgeable Staff with Fair Pricing.

Would have been great if they had bothered to give us any service or help during out visit. We left after 20 minutes of stumbling around trying to find the wood to pick out pieces for our project.
