While waiting for my dog to be groomed, I went To Dennys on Dunlawton to have breakfast. I had the most amazing waitress Heather serve me. In all my years of eating out Heather was the best waitress I have encounter. She was organized and professional. She served my food order and knew what I would need to eat my food.I am handicapped and use a cane. Since I can’t stand very long, she took my bill up to the register for me. That alone helped me a lot! I would recommend that you are seated in her section together the top of the line service!

Took my 4 and 6 year old grandkids. My 6 year old grandson loves their chocolate chipPancakes. Good friendly service and clean.

As soon as we walked in Dennys the whole store smelled like a restroom..There was only 2 other customers in the restaurant. It took 1/2 hour for our food. It was a plate of scrambled eggs and pancakes.The food tasted aweful.It was my first time in Dennys and will be my only rime.

Great place to eat....would recommend it highly... our order was for breakfast and had to wait a little while to get our food.. the server Sherri gave us exceptional service... nice to go out to eat and find friendly service for once in years!!!!!....

I just have to give Sam an awesome review! She was outstanding with customer service and handled every diner in the restaurant without missing a beat. She is a keeper and Dennys would be smart to offer her top pay.

Its 12:51 p.m. 07/26/22...every single one of the ladies working there is very rude...its called acknowledge the customers and be polite and respectful. On my way in I had a lady working there close the door in my face as I walked in behind her. None of them would make eye contact and I had to really go out of my way to get theyre attention.I would literally fire all three of them and have them replaced ASAP ! If you dont like dealing with customers work somewhere ekse

Your hours of operation says the Dennys in Port Orange is open until 2 am. I drove up to Dennys with my fiancé and a friend last night, and arrived at 1:25 am, and a lady at the desk told me they were only taking orders to go. No where in your website does it say you stop dining in service at 1:25 am. I proceeded to tell this to your staff, and they repeatedly said they are only doing take out orders, which was clearly a lie. Also, there was another employee who came out and was very rude to me. This type of behavior is so unacceptable and so unprofessional. Your employees should not be working the night shift if they clearly do not want to work at all.

Yummy I love the buffalo tenders every time I go, but the cooks are rude they yell at the waitresses and take their sweet time cooking I sat for two hours waiting for our food, and they run out of allot of foods through out the week for this location if I were you as soon as you sit down ask what they do not have first I will not recommend their are other locations try them instead. Location is on Dunlawton Blvd

Ordered sausage gravy and biscuits. They must have been out of what they normally serve. And instead of coming to me to tell me they were out.They chopped up sausage links. Threw it in the gravy. It was awful to look at. Since we eat with our eyes first. And then they thought it was funny, and excepting. I walked out and will never return to this Dennys restaurant again. The server/waitress agreed. These ppl have no pride!!!

With my most recent experience Im giving 3 stars. The wait staff earned a 5 star, and the food quality, flavor, and accuracy earned a 0. Sadi (waitresswas awesome.Im never one to accept a free food voucher, but this experience warranted one.The burgers were flavored only of grease, from the hamburger meat, to the bacon.Im not used to this out of this location, but it was awful. The district manager was professional and resolved our issue and hopefully the issue.

Went in to pick up pancakes today. Truly, just 3 plain pancakes ordered ahead. Walked in and stood waiting then hostess finally acknowledges me. She checks and doesn’t see it. Comes back says it will be 5 minutes. I step back and wait but I notice a “to go” bag set separate from the other to go thinking that’s probably mine. Waited a bit again and walked over to where drink orders are being made by same hostess and said if my order is not ready just cancel. Manager happens to walk by and she snags him so he looks sees the bag off to the side and brings them to the cashier but he stays and waits for her to finish. She finishes and then instead of acknowledging her manager she takes another customer. I was furious, I said you know what forget about it and walked out. You would have thought manager would have said just take them after all how much did that really cost them for 3 plain pancakes!

Food takes wayyyy too long espicially if you aren’t low on staff. Food was “warm” and somewhat cold and the bathrooms are disgusting

This was the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had!!!! And Im typically very understanding! Ive managed restaurants and have worked in the food industry for many years so I get it but this.... was absolutely horrible. We got sat at our table was told it would be a 30 - 45 min wait for food even though there was only 2 tables occupied at the moment. My family ordered our food 3 out of 6 received our food about 35 mins later me and my twin 5 year Olds did not after another 25 to 30 min wait their father had already gave the kids his food and everyone was already done eating I finally received my food with the check it was also incorrect and had to have it remade. Our waitress never checked on our table we had to ask for the things we needed. Our food was terrible. We then asked to speak to a manager was told he was busy after 15 mins he finally came out didnt say a word stood there in awkward silence as we explained what happened never offered any way to correct any of the problems their attitudes where absolutely rude. Worst experience ever. We where there over 2 hours with 2 of us never getting to eat . We will never be back and I would not recommend this place. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! ZERO STARS!!!!

My food was amazing, but the server was not very attentive we only seen her twice once to take the order and 2nd to get the check . Someone other then my server brought us our food and our drinks never got refilled. If nit for the service this would have been a 5 star visit

It wasnt possible to order by phone because of an apparent equipment breakdown. It was instead necessary to place a take-out order in person and then wait on the premises for half an hour. As typical with this restaurant, the entrees were accurate but the side dishes were not as ordered; by the time we discovered this we simply had no desire to return to the restaurant to get the problem solved.

This experience was not the first HORRIBLE experience. But this time was worse than the first time. They didn’t get our order right. The food was so cold that the server asked us if we wanted her to heat it up -I’m assuming in a microwave 😳. We had to get up several times and ask for stuff for our table because the server wouldn’t come to our table. I ordered chicken nuggets (which was on the menufor my daughter & they claimed that they didn’t have any -which is all my daughter eats when going out to eat. Our bread on our sandwiches were super soggy. And me and the person I was with split the checks and the server could not figure out who ordered what and couldn’t split the check properly. She couldn’t even get it right AFTER I told her what goes on which check. I asked for a manager and the manager was “busy”. So I called corporate and was told that the owner of the franchise would call me within 3-5 days to correct my issues and I never heard from him/her. Other customers were complaining about their horrible experience while I was standing there trying to get someone to resolve my issue. I was really disappointed with how far downhill this place has gone. I paid $33 for food that we never ate because the server refused to refund it. So I ended up going somewhere else and paying for food that we could actually eat. It saddens me that the owner never reached out after either. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.

Menu has been recently updated. I had a really bad experience. I asked for egg whites be substituted gor scrambled eggs. I was told substitution was not possible. I explained that egg yolk causes an anaphylaxis (i am deathly allergic to egg yolk). I agreed to pay any price for any menu item that included egg whites, hash browns and bacon. Both the waitress snd the manager insisted that there was no solution. What poor customer service...i wont be going back.

I couldnt get the BLT I wanted so I got the super bird with lettuce and onion rings on the side, the onion rings wore burnt and the sandwich was so salty, the food tasted nasty. Id give them no stars if theyd let me. Ill never order late at night again from this place, now wishing I got Taco bell instead.

The staff screwed up every order. The Manager was rude and made comments that my childrenHeard about me, when He was confronted he said the kids were lying. I will never go to Dennys again.

brought my kids here, kids cheeseburger was very red and bleeding in the middle they couldnt eat it. was told that this is how its supposed to be. took over 20 minutes to get drinks another 20 minute wait to place our orders. 30 plus minutes to get food. it was cold and old looking or raw. after i left, i had to stop somewhere else to get kids food due to be grossed by the bleeding cheeseburgers. the one in ormond is 50 times better then this place.. will not be returning to this location

Our server this time was great! She was on top of it. Bless her, she even slipped and fell, but got right up and kept going! Such a sweet young lady. I wished I had more to tip her with. I could only leave her $10.... but I seriously thought she deserved more.

We waited an hour and a half for our meal at10:30 at night when the restaurant was not busy. They were out of food items to complete meals as well as having no napkins, they literally brought us torn pieces of hand towels.

Not impressed! Eggs were saturated in cooking butter oil whatever that foreign stuff was. No matter that I used 5 napkins to soak it up it still had that nasty taste. Got to listen to the employees spilling the tea about other employees. The people I was speaking with on the phone found it interesting too. If you have people stealing waitresses tips yall should have asked for the money back and then fired them. Just saying.Stop standing around gossiping and get this place right. Other dennys have this place beat hands down.

I have been going to this Dennys for years and the staff is always super nice. They definitely go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and enjoying your food! I went in and ordered and surprisingly my food was ready fairly quickly and it was correct.

My wife and I had a good breakfast. Waitress was great. Not too many customers at 6:30 in the morning. I must say that the place inside needed some cleaning. Didnt feel comfortable looking at the floors or walls. Had to brush off some crumbs off of my seat before sitting down which makes me think that sanitation is lacking.

I stopped in for breakfast on a whim. I ordered the French Toast Slam, the eggs over medium, were cooked perfectly. I asked for extra crispy bacon and it was perfect. The sausage links were very good and the French Toast was excellent. It was the first time in recent memory that I received everything very hot. Usually when I go out to breakfast and I order pancakes, a waffle or French Toast, it never arrives hot, only warm. The waitress was friendly, efficient and polite. The coffee was also very good. Next time Im in the area, I will stop in at this Dennys location for sure.

Go early, no standing in line, can sit wherever you want, very pleasant people and atmosphere and very clean! Food was delicious and tasty! I was so pleased, I gave the cook (Johna tip! From the plate he fixed I could tell he enjoys what he does!

It the usual Dennys. Order 2 red,white, and blue pancakes. It comes with cream cheese icing. One order came with it the other didnt. Waitress says oh while putting plate down they forgot the icing. She comes back a while later with a little container of it for my daughter. Get bill she charged us for extra icing even though it wasnt on there to begin with. Order 2 hot chocolates. Sons say they taste like water. They drink all if them and notice all the powder was on the bottom never got stirred. I ordered county fried steak and ask that they make sure the steak has the gravy on it. It come completely covered (greatbut she also brings a bowl full on the side. Guess what she charged me for extra gravy even though I never wanted extra, just wanted to make sure it came with pepper gravy.

Great food, super friendly service, and very reasonable prices. The cook just needs to be more careful with the orders placed. I asked for a T-bone steak to be cooked medium and I got it well done, but the steak was still tender. Everything else was really good. I absolutely loved the waitresses super friendly service.

Prefer Denny’s over IHOP any day and this day was no different. While outta town this past weekend decided to order online from this Denny’s location with the fam. Nice clean 😷 establishment only issue was unfortunately not having our food ready according to what the email stated it would be done but was not. The hostess who brought me the food and offered a free complimentary drink of my choice to make up for the slow time which I gladly accepted. Food was great 😊 would come back again.
