I just moved to Neptune and A friend recommended me to that dentalOffice/. So, I decided to schedule a cleaning. I was really satisfied with both the service and the professionalism of the staff. I have been to other dental offices in the past. I do not have any criticism, but Dental Arts of Freehold is next level Of service. I definitely will go back there for my next appointment.And as a token of my appreciation, I will recommend all friends and family to that office. Thank you’re a job well done. See you soon!

I’ve been to quite a few different dentist in the past but I have to tell you that out of all of them Dental Arts of Freehold has been hands down the absolute best in every way!! Super friendly staff, great service and amazing pricing! I definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs dental work!!

Really bad experience here that has left me in tears and messed with my psyche. Visited between Aug-Sept 2022 and long story short, my doctor didn’t properly fix a chipped tooth, so I gave them a chance to redo it. I was Left my with a broken tooth abt a week after my 2nd visit (even worst than the small chip I had beforegave them ANOTHER chance to fix it (3rd visit in a month)and now I’m left with a front tooth that’s visibly longer than the other. Filed too much. Idk. Just a mess. On the last 2 occasions I felt the doctors were rushing and complaints were made while I was being worked on. My smile is ruined and I am deeply insecure to even open my mouth and speak to people. AND THE WORST PART IS, my insurance company was charged for their mistake EVERYTIME. So now I have to wait to get it fixed by yet another dentist. Now It feels like I have developed PTSDI only gave it a star because I had to in order to post this review.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years now and always have a good experience. Recently finished the sure smile system and extremely with my results and service throughout the process!

I recently did my Invisalign with dr reck and I absolutely love how it turned out I never had to wait more than 5 mins at any appt dr reck did a great job at making me feel comfortable in the chair The assistants were very kind and accommodating overall such a great experience!

The only good part of this practice was and sadly that’s gone is the dental hygienist, Cheryl.Cheryl was phenomenal with the way she dealt with the clientele, her work was exceptional as far as cleaning explaining and guidance. I went there before because of her. During COVID things temporarily stopped, I guess for many.I tried again and I am sadly disappointed Cheryl is gone, not returning. The doctors there do not have thr ability to even do close to what she did with throughout dental hygiene care. Cheryl was amazing, great cleaning ability and would explain what they were doing to the client in real term understanding.It’s not the same place but then it was masked by an awesome hygienist. Will be finding somewhere else to go to. Have heard the same not wanting to continue with the group from others - they complain about trying to be pressured for out of pocket work.Bye bye

Dr. Rimma Chertog is wonderful! She is very patient and does wonderful work. She just replaced my front crown and it looks beautiful! I am so happy with it! It makes my smile look so much better! I highly recommend her.

I terminated my relationship with this dentist office after having several procedures performed here. My husband followed after experiencing problems from canals and chip teeth that werent existing prior to work being don. He had to have repeated refills to the same teeth. I too learn from the hygienist, during a cleaning, there was a crack to the gum-line of a tooth that was worked on. My husband and I take very good care of our teeth, and always have flossed regularly, and brush more than twice per day. My problems began after I had bridge work done slightly at 2 years ago and have since had aching to the teeth under the bridge. I have had bleeding under the bridges, and they all appear lose. My k-9 was shaved down to a round shape, leaving my smile crooked, which was not the case before my visit to this office. I had been referred out to an associate orthodontist, for consideration of implants, but the orthodontist appeared not to be staffed, for he was working the front desk, and there were no patients within the waiting areas; and I was there for a while. I am so disappointed in the smile that was created after seeing this doctor. At one time I had gone back to the dentist to complain of a difference to the appearance of my permanent tooth. There was a crookedness to the smile after a permanent bridge was placed. I was told that was not the tooth he worked on, but I kept insisting something was off with my smile, but could not put my hand to it. After closer examination, it revealed the k9 had been shaved into a round shape, making my smile crooked because the teeth did not line up. I left before any additional work was to be performed, as not to alarm the doctor who seem to not take inquiries well. I believe ALL the work that was done to my teeth, including the bridges placed will have to be redone. I have lots of discomfort to the teeth under the bridges; and although my husband and I thought we had an established relationship with this dentist, we found it warranted to leave; knowing this was an utter waste of money and much time.

I terminated my relationship with this office after 3+ years. They lost a family of five patients today. I blame myself for enduring it for as long as I have. I had a root canal and installed a crown on my tooth 3 years ago, developed an abscess after that procedure. Had the same procedure done a few months later, developed another infection not even one year later and had to do the same procedure on the same tooth a third time. Since my insurance only covered the first, I had to incur the full cost for the next two. Root canal and installing a crown is a very expensive procedure, imagine having to pay for this procedure twice out of pocket. Still, I kept taking my family to this office, giving them the benefit of the doubt.Today was the final straw. My daughter (8 years oldhad a cavity and was experiencing some pain. This office convinced me to do a root canal and filling on my 8 year old. I asked the dentist to remove the tooth since she had not gotten her permanent teeth yet. The dentist went on and on about the root canal being the best thing to do. Not even one month later and my daughter developed an abscess in the same tooth here I am paying an additional cost to have the same tooth removed. The other 2 teeth that was filled apparently wasnt done correctly either because today I was told, they needed to be refilled (after only one month). To top it all off all of a sudden I owed them from the prior visit. When I have paid every single visit in full, sometimes I have a credit for overpaying. I will definitely be following up with my insurance.I am sick of spending money to have procedure after procedure done on the same tooth. It is either they dont know what they are doing or they are doing several procedures for the money. And every time, the patient is paying the full cost. The office takes no responsibility. It is always something that is not their fault and the cost is mine to bear.NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please dont go here. Horrible experience with my treatment with Dr. Max. People at my work never came back to him as well. We dont recommend 100%. Just please find another dentist.

I have been a patient at this practice for 10+ years, last month was my final visit. Just like the review below, they always have prices higher than other dentists. For the past year the front desk has become extremely unfriendly and at times difficult to work with. Last year I had to cancel an appointment due to having a sinus infection and was told I had to pay their outrageous cancellation fee. When I challenged it i was told just this one time I wouldnt have to pay. When I called to schedule my cleaning once the Governor permitted I was told the hygienist had child care issues to call back another time. When I told them if thats the case Ill find a new dentist they magically were able to make me an appointment for a cleaning. What is even more frustrating is that they suggest treatment plans that are unnecessary and pricey. I have been reluctant to leave because of pure laziness on my part. Last month when I arrived for my cleaning I was told I now have a copay. When I challenged the front desk, knowing full well I do not have a copay I was told its a COVID fee. After expressing my frustration that I was not notified PRIOR to coming for the visit and being LIED to I was told fine she will bill my insurance. Why not notify patients of the COVID fee when you send the 500 confirmation texts for the visit? They have no problem telling us we will get charged an insane $80 for a missed appointment, do the same for COVID fees. I then went for my cleaning and after telling them I felt like a filling chipped I was then told I needed a crown. I was then told to come back in a MONTH to get fitted for it and then again for the actual crown. I found this odd because I have NO PAIN. Today I went for a second opinion it turns out I do NOT need a crown the tooth is FINE. This makes me wonder how much work was done that I never needed. Very disappointed at how greedy this office has become. I was a very loyal patient who often sent referrals to this office, sadly I will not come back.

I’ve been going to this practice for 27 years and today was my final visit. In the last few years, this practice has been getting exponentially greedier. They routinely have prices that are higher than they should be, but I’ve been reluctant to switch from their office because it is the only dentist I’ve ever known. Their suggested treatment plans are an attempt at pushing unnecessary charges and they’re currently charging an extra fee for COVID 19 measures that they don’t tell you about until you get to your appointment and you receive said bloated treatment plan. I’m sick of the sales tactics and clout chasing dentists at this office- I’ll finally be going elsewhere.

Ive been going to see Dr Max for over 10 years. He really cares about the patient and I never feel like a # as I had with past experiences at other offices. The last time I went I had to bring my 18 month old and the girls at reception watched her while Amy cleaned my teeth. 5 Stars!!

Cheryl is a very nice lady and a top tier person to see for cleanings. She make us going to the dentist not so bad.

WARNING VERY SHADY!They gave me a extra filling with out telling me its not covered by my insurance.They send me a additional bill a few months after treatment for a additional deductible that was not part of the initial bill.

My family and I have been patients here for years, I can’t even remember how long that’s how loyal we are. Dr. Maks is absolutely the best, and who isn’t sweeter than Cheryl? It’s a family atmosphere here and they always ask how everyone is doing. I’m not sure what previous reviewers are talking about, the staff is so nice and accommodating for appointment rescheduling, take my word for it. I take excellent care of my teeth but from time to time have little cavities, and have never had any issues with work that was done. Zero pain, no follow up appointments necessary. Just top notch! Look no further for your family dental needs.

This was the BEST dentist visit I have ever had. I can say as a person who hates dentists – this particular dentist that I have met Dr. Rimma Chertog, the most dedicated, devoted, and works with passion is really the best dentist you can possible have. I was always nervous when I visited dentist in the past –but she helped me to get past fear of dentists. Dr. Rimma makes you comfortable and explaining everything by giving you the options of what has to be done. She is taking her time and explaining the procedure ( which not every dentist in the past did that to me ). I appreciated the excellent service she provided me with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The staff is incredible wonderful and so polite. They are very courteous and very professional. This whole office makes you feel like part of the family, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Rimma provided proper instructions, kept asking if I was comfortable throughout my procedures and even asked for feedback when I was done. Thanks a million to Dr. Rimma Chertog that put me at ease and made my visit so enjoyable. It has relieved all the stress of going to the dentists. I can’t wait to go back!

I came in for a Groupon cleaning and exam and Sheryl the hygienist was very nice & informative. Dr Max was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Great service. Have had major work there and I have arthritic tmj which makes it all a very painful process. They work great the with taking care of me and helping me manage the pain. Would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. rimma is by far the best dentist I have ever been to is always very professional and does an amazing job. I never have sensitivity after an appointment which I had to deal with at previous dentists. All of the staff is very friendly and courteous and the office is very clean.

I always have a good experience with Dr. Rimma at Dental arts of freehold. She has been the only dentist to numb me with the initial injection and it with no pain from there. Highly recommend this office.

I started going to Dental Arts of Freehold in 2016 when they gave me options (zirconium crowns as opposed to other materialsthat my other dentists never mentioned.My hygienist (Sherylalways does an amazing job and makes sure that all of my questions are answered.My dentist (Dr. Chertogis the best dentist I have seen. In addtional to doing a top notch job, she lets me know what all my options are, explains the pros and cons of each, and patiently works with me to make a plan.

Been here a few times getting treatments done, Dr. Rimma is very professional, explained everything to me before all the procedures, staffs are nice and friendly. This office didnt make me feel that all they care about is how to get my insurance money.

Dr. Rimma Chertog is absolutely amazing. She is very professional, knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable. She explained all my options including all pros and cons so I could make the best decision. My most problematic tooth was fixed when it was almost at a point of no return. The root canal procedure was painless and thorough.

I want to thank Dr Rimma for saving my tooth, and Improving my smile so much. Shes so thoroughly . She diagnosed where the pain was coming from, when my previous dentist said "we will watch it " , fixed my teeth with no pain , I am able to smile and chew again ! I love her !!!

Got there 15 minutes early, and they took me in even before my appointment. They were very informative about everything that was going on with my mouth, explained my treatment options fully, and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with my experience.

Dr. Rimma Chertog is a great and compassionate practitioner. She is very knowledgeble, courteous, professional and caring. Pain control during the procedures is always her priority. She always makes sure that her patients are at comfort and not stressed during dental work. Dr. Chertog is great with kids and adults. Highly recommended

WORST dentist office ever. Dr.Rimma is a SCAM i bet anyone who gets a second opinion will get total different results. She is only after money and will over book while leaving you sitting in a chair for hours so she can fit more people in leave a half ass job. DONT EVER GO THERE!!!

I had a terrible pain , my tooth was killing me. it was close to 7:30, all dental offices were closed, i just got home. desperate i started calling and this office told me to come in. Dr Rimma Chertog was working that day and she stayed later for 1.5 hours for me just to help me. She did a painless injection and comforted me and procedure did not hurt at all. I was dreading going to the dentist my whole life but not anymore..Thank you so much !!! love her

they are thieves. I had a bad pain in my jaw that shot into my ear. I went in and asked if they could see me as an emergency. They did, first she told me I needed a root canal when I said forget that she banged on my teeth in the area of the pain. it didnt hurt so she told me I have a canker sore in the back of my mouth. I could rinse with salt water and it would go away in 7 to 10 days. .....or she could laser it for $150. I asked if that would make it go away. she said it might heal faster. I told her I didnt have $150. or insurance so she told me to rinse with salt water. on my way out I was billed $180. FOR THE VISIT. They took advantage of me because I was in pain. They are only in it for the money. if you go there keep one hand on your wallet they will rob you.

They seemed to find a lot of things wrong with my teeth and it was just a routine check-up. I followed some of there suggestions but not everything, and things seem fine. A bit expensive for what I had done.

Terrible experience. I recently got new insurance which forced me to choose a new dentist, hence how I ended up at Dental Arts of Freehold. In my opinion, both the dentist and hygienist were extremely pushy trying to sell extra services and were quick to tell me I had all kinds of things wrong with my teeth. I just went to the dentist last year where I was given a clean bill of health and in my lifetime have only had 1 cavity. After what felt like a rushed cleaning - they didnt floss my teeth or spend more than 5 minutes total cleaning the teeth, they told me I had over 12 cavities and needed to be sedated for a deep cleaning because I had gingivitis. The dentist discussed having me come in for multiple procedures so not all the work would be billed at once with the insurance company. I felt very uncomfortable with this discussion and left not scheduling any future treatment. To my surprise, I received a preliminary notice in the mail from BCBS for some of the work they wanted to do - which I never scheduled or approved. Baffled by this appointment, I decided to return to my old dentist. Before I went I requested a copy of my records and paid $15, but what resulted was a poor photocopy of my x-rays. At my old dentist, they called over to Dental Arts and requested to see the x-rays they took, but the receptionist at Dental Arts said they would not send over. At my old dentist, I received a full exam, thorough cleaning and x-rays and was given a clean bill of health. Not one cavity, no gingivitis. To this day, I still have not had an issue with my teeth. I will never recommend.

I would recommend this place to anyone who needs any dental work. The Dentists are so attentive and ensure that you have no pain. The prices are reasonable and appointments schedule are on time.

I have been going here for some time and I have to say I love the service! They are always friendly and informative. They do offer a ton of services and will tell you about them but they have never made me feel pressured to buy them so I dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. Dr.Max is an awesome dentist and Vita is a superb hygienist, both are very thorough and careful to keep your comfort in mind during every visit. I have had multiple fillings and had the deep cleaning done, and never had an issue with any of this being out of my budget and I definitely do not make a lot of money all. I have gotten both silver and clear fillings here and neither of them have had any problems. The deep cleaning was a two visit process for both sides of my mouth and did take about an hour and a half each visit but it was very thorough and I can see, and feel, the difference in my teeth. I havent gone for a whitening yet, even though I need it, as I am contemplating the whole process. If I do it will be here for sure!

The staff was very friendly and helpful ,scheduling appointments has been very easy and they always are able to find times that work with my crazy work schedule. Dr. Max did an amazing job with my root canal, I have had problems with root canals in the past but his was done properly and professionally.

I have to say my whole family uses Dr Chertog, there is nothing but wonderful experiences with her. Not only is she completely understanding her patient care and bedside manors are wonderful. I had alot of Dental work done and she worked out payment plan and made my smile beautiful. The staff and office have always been very accommodating. Highly recommend her. I also had a very big fear of the Dentist... Dr.Chertog has always been soft spoken and calming.

I’ve been recommended this doctor by a friend of mine when I started having a sudden and really bad toothache – I needed a pretty much an immediate help and was even considering going to an emergency room, considering it was Saturday late afternoon and the dentist that I’ve been using for years is located in Manhattan, where I work. Dr. Rimma was about to leave when I called and I was really luck that agreed to see me. Needless to say how anxious and miserable I was coming with excruciating pain to a new dentist. Dr. Rimma was so compassionate and so professional that it made me feel that I was in good hands right away. She took care of the pain rather quickly, she did the root canal and saved my tooth (which I still have ). It’s been over 2 years now since that first emergency visit and I’ve seen Dr. Rimma probably 5-6 times over this period. Every single visit I had the same impression of this doctor: very professional yet very compassionate and human, someone I can trust for best possible recommendation and treatment. I feel very thankful to dr. Rimma and can confidently recommend her to others (which I actually many times).

Great Dentist!When I moved to NJ, I had still been going to my NY dentist for a couple of years because he was good and attentive. Finally I decided to try a local dentist that several people recommended to me.Rimma was excellent!After I had my teeth cleaned, Rimma explained to me the benefits I would get from their laser treatment on my gums and I decided to do it. Worked out great! Flossing feels better now.Certainly a 5 star experience, will keep going back.
