Delicious beers. Ordered wings, they were great. Service was excellent! Would come back!
Very good beers. Better than the bigger, fancier breweries nearby. Parking is rough tho.
We stopped in on a rainy day to try an assortment of 5 of their fruit beers, which they offer in smaller 6 oz servings. We really liked the orange nectarine marmalade and peach lemonade ones, but they were all exceptionally good, very unique, and surprisingly distinct from each other. If you prefer sweeter alcoholic drinks like ciders, you really should give these a try.
Literally my favorite place to get beer! I live in Baltimore but when I go to Delaware I make sure to stop here. Best sour/fruit beers I’ve ever had. Seriously so good. Great food and excellent service/staff. Id give more than 5 stars if I could. Would love if they opened a place in bmore, I’d be there every week 😬
Such a great place!! Not only do they have amazing beers but excellent food as well with a full kitchen staff. We came on a Thursday at happy hour. 15 wings for $15 - cant beat that!! We got 1/2 rub and 1/2 Carolina sauce. Just delicious! We also got the pretzel appetizer with a sweet mustard and cheese queso. So good! Also many areas to sit and enjoy. We came in October and there was plenty of free parking on the side streets. We are coming back to do dinner because the entrees sound delicious!
Nice pub atmosphere. Beer 🍺 made with unusual ingredients! Grunge looking waiter, youthful vibe!!
Always a great stop when we’re in Dewey! Great food and atmosphere, but if love good beer, it’s an absolute must!
Small menu. Small bit interesting draft beer selection. IPA pours are only 13 oz.
Most creative and best new take on what a great beer can be. Dont miss these guys. Not just another craft beer. Truly unique creations.
Loved this place! Im not into malty hoppy brews and the selection of fruit beers at this place was extensive. I have never been to another brewery where I had so many choices. Servers were friendly and attentive as well.
Love the secret machine beers. Highly recommend them. The food was pretty good. The street corn nachos were great and a large portion. The shrimp and chorizo lo mein wasnt my favorite. The noodles werent like your typical lo mein noodles and were much thicker. They almost seemed a little chewy. For the price, I expected a little better portion and quality of shrimp. The kids grilled cheese was excellent, but not basic. If youre looking for something for a picky eater, you might want to be sure theyll like the different cheeses on it.Our service was excellent as well. As youll find from other reviews, Lo is great. Very friendly and quick with anything you need.
Great small brewery! Huge beer and cocktail menus and the food was great! Very nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables and Cornhole.
I don’t know what happened to this place and the menu but wow it went downhill. The beers are good but the food menu is just terrible. The service was awful. I get that it’s understaffed but the server lied and stated she kept running back to tell the kitchen to make the item they forgot, but when she ran back with the check, she said sorry guys, I forgot to put that item in. Huh? At least she took off two of the beers, but never again. Really disappointed with this place. The two stars are for the beer.
Fantastic fruity beers for those that don’t drink beers. We had their Ahi tuna & scallops which where very fresh. The Brussels sprouts and wings was also good. Best part our waiter “Lu” was ver friendly and attentive to our two little furry dogs. My favorite beer is their almond cookie beer which is like dessert in a cup
Beer was solid but menu was a little too many fruit / sours. Street corn Nachos were outstanding. Service good.
Great fruity / smoothie beer selection and solid ipas. Merch is pretty pricey but food was fantastic. Great vegan/vegetarian options as well.
Crazy beer combos. Fruited sours. Great place to go and hang out.
Really solid thick sours , orange peach cranberry sour was almost like a carbonated beer mimosa fusionCool art all over the place fun spot
Lo was an excellent waitress and our food came out quickly and was delicious. The beer is phenomenal and I would highly recommend the secret machine with orange and lemon ice. We will definitely be going back for more good food, service, and beers.
Great thick smoothie-style beers and a large vegetarian/vegan menu. I got the impossible beef and broccoli lo-mein. It was overly salty.Cons: no parking and below average service
Beer was outstanding with something for everyone. Loved the 1/2 pint option so I could try a few, but a flight of 4s would have been better. Anyway, food was also really good. I had the burger which was actually 2 patties and very tasty. My wife had a blueberry salad that was fresh and creative. Our server was busy, but checked on us often. Challenging to find a parking place, but go down a few blocks on the bay side and there are some metered spots. Highly recommended, and this is a spot at the top of my list when we go back to the beach.
Great beer flavors. Very pricey. But well worth it. I make it a goal to visit whenever I come to Delaware. Especially since they have new flavors almost every time I go.Update: Once again they never disappoint. New flavors again and some better than the last.
Me and my buddy planned this dinner out a month in advance and it did not disappoint. Probably the best food I’ve had in a while, great service/atmosphere and the beer and drinks taste amazing . 10/10
Delicious & dog friendly!Quick and friendly service. Dog friendly seating outside is great! The ahi tuna and fried tofu dishes are awesome! Oh, and the beer…. Just try them all ! Our server, Niculina, gave us a few suggestions and it ended up being the best dinner we had while at Dewey! Very reasonable prices, to boot !
A Dewey miracle! After trying several restaurants, we checked out the menu here. Our group had a few dietary restrictions and we were able to find options for all! The Mahi entree was delicious, perfectly cooked and served with a light dressing and fresh greens. They have cocktails and wine, if youre not in the mood for beer. And our server was super!
I’ve been here since they first opened. Their beer is unmatched. I truly enjoyed watching them grow over the years. Every year their beer recipes become more elite. Their sours are the best in the USA.My favorite dish is off the menu, but it was their plantain nachos. They were so unique, bring it back! Perfect for the beach. The staff is always super chill and the owner is a good guy. You absolutely need to stop here if you are in Dewey Beach.
We stopped by DBC on our way back from the beach yesterday, and we thoroughly enjoyed a couple beers each. Among us, we tried the Thrills, as well as a couple Secret Machines an Orange Crush (Levante Collab), and a couple of IPAs. As always, everything was delicious. Our server was great, and the only very tiny downside was that the condensation from the AC unit above us had a steady drip, so one of us had to scoot over a bit to avoid it.
Your sours are amazing! You’ve struck gold with your brewing recipe on the majority of those items. Please please try to keep as many on tap as possible at all times! My only complaint is that every time I visit it seems like less sours are available than last time
Great assortment of beers. I order wings at almost every restaurant I go to. These were top 3 wings Ive ever had. Got the scallop Po Boy for dinner. Easily the best Po Boy Ive ever had. Will be going back as soon as we possibly can.
Get the IPAs or ales. Avoid the fruity beers, they are called "sours" for a reason; unless you like that pucker. The burger was pretty good. Try some bbq sauce on the mac and cheese also.
Ryan was amazing! Best old bay wings we’ve had in a while and their fruit beers are so fun - I made mine a mixed drink and a manmosa! My fiancé had the best seltzer ever it was peach horchata!! No dairy either. We will be back!
This was our first time going to Dewey Beer Co. And we will most definitely be back! The food and beer were great and came out very quickly.
A friend of mine has been coming here for years and while in the area I tagged along. The brewery had a great atmosphere to include indoor/outdoor sitting, paintings from local artists displayed for sale and a friendly staff. But the beer is what you come for.I tried a variety of brews and all were delicious. Furthermore, the brewery served food which was amazing! My go-to will be and will always be nachos. The nachos were different from anything Ive ever had, and complimented the beers perfect.Definitely worth a stop if youre in the area.
Street parking only, no parking lot. Loads of IPA’s available. Not a beer drinker but other people I was with tried all of them and enjoyed themselves. Mussels, crab bisque and beer pretzel were tasty. Friendly wait staff. Take home several four packs of IPA’s
One of my favorite spots on the shore. Always killer suds, the seafood nachos are to die for and try the Cuban sandwich too!
Awesome place. Their sours are like alcohol infused smoothies. Had the nachos, which were huge and covered with a great salsa. Our table had the jerk wings, chicken sandwich, bacon grilled cheese. Everything was excellent and the service from Ryan was top notch.
Excellent spot. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of TV’s and great beer. This is my favorite brewery to go to and yes, that is keeping in mind of the “big” name brand brewery’s in the area. It is great for finger foods and a few beers or for a full entree dinner. When we are in Delaware, we seek them out.
One of the best beer on tap locations featuring multiple IPAs & sours(fruitmade in house. Kenny & Ryan are always there proving great service and a fun atmosphere. The food is on point specifically the street style corn nachos🥲. Shout-out to all of the wonderful servers too & crew. They also have 4-packs to go in the fridges from recent drops!
BEST! CANNOLIS! EVER! The staff were friendly and engaged in conversation with me, the food came out extremely quick, and the simple environment just made it an overall relaxing place to eat and have a few drinks. The staff is amazing 👏🏼 👏🏼
Stellar burger, great service, great beer. Cant ask for more here.If you like fruited sours, their thrills stack up with the best. The secret machines are also really good and refreshing for the beach scene.Burgerwise, I ended up with the All-In for $19, which came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, cheddar cheese, bacon, ham, and a fried egg. It was solid and I got it with fries. The only complaint I had is that they didnt have any pint glasses available for sale other than a tall pilsner glass, but cant ding them on that.Ill be back if Im ever in town, though I might wander over to their new taproom instead as Im more about the beer!
Incredible burger! I know it is just a burger, but the house burger is cooked so well with great flavors. The mac and cheese was good too but had nothing on the burger. The staff was very attentive, but not bothersome.
Always try the Thrills and Secret Machine! The food here is always amazing here. They sell crowlers and 4 packs, check their Instagram for fridge updates.
Awesome restaurant with great food and beer. Service was wonderful. Recently visited here during Covid and felt very safe. Had the lobster roll as well as shrimp lo mein. Both were very good. Sampled a few beers, all of which were great. I don’t enjoy IPAs therefore I did not try any of them. prefer fruity/wheat beer and Stouts. Their french fries are also pretty awesome. We enjoyed it so much that we actually ate here twice in three days.
Beer was decent. They have a good variety of sour beers. Wait staff and door greater were awesome! We had the all you eat wings and I loved them.Very cool atmosphere.Close to the beach.
Their sour beers are fantastic! The food was great! We got the chorizo and shrimp lo mein and the crab cakes, I highly recommend. We tried all of the sours and a blood orange gose, all were distinct and delicious. The location has a great atmosphere, feels like a cozy beach shack. All of staff was very friendly. Our server was Andrea, she had the perfect level of attentiveness. Another server helped me pick out a shirt while I happen to be looking. I’ll definitely be back!
Great beach brewery, top place in Dewey. Had a great variety of sours they had brewed. Lover the cherry lime and strawberry the best. Going back to get a six pack to take home. Only tried the pretzel but the rest of the stuff comming from the kitchen looked just as yummy. Is a must stop comming around Dewey and Rehoboth area.
We were greeted with a free sample of a new beer which hadnt even been released yet so right off the bat we were impressed with this place. They are known for their sours and we enjoyed all of them very much! The food was also excellent and decently priced! Wish we had found this place sooner, we always end up at Dogfish in Rehoboth and this place blows them out of the water.
It was the beer that got me here. But it was the food that really won me over. So I’m a big beer guy. And going to the best local beer places is my jam. But in this case the reason I really want to go back is because of the quality of the food. Grant it, I only had the Burrata and Tomato Salad and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi, but wow. Both were sooooo good. So want to go back.
Delicious food and craft beer! We usually visit Dewey Beach/Rehoboth Beach during the off season and love to visit local breweries. The Dewey Beer Company didnt disappoint! We sampled a flight of beers, beer slushie, and tried their Grapefruit Crush. We also had their Cuban Sandwich, nachos, and their steamed shrimp. Parking was pretty limited, but its the beach and is expected. We will definitely go back.
Wow, what a find! Everything tastes fantastic. Everything is fresh and local whenever possible. We came with a big group, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Its one thing for a brewery to make fantastic beer, but its another thing for their food to possibly be better than most other restaurants. If tky dont come here, you will miss out on a great lunch or dinner. Guaranteed.
