I recently moved to Sussex County due to the death of my parents and inheriting their beach house. I needed a new CPA being new to the area. I had a very complex complicated situation that warranted an extension on my taxes. When I called Diehl Foraker on APRIL 1ST, I was a complete emotional mess. Don Forakeranswered the phone and said in his very CALMING voice, it’s OK, WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.And take care of me is exactly what he did. He made sure my extension was filed by the tax deadline. Mr. Foraker is extremely knowledgeable in the area of Trust and Estate Taxes. I was scared and upset because the Trustee of my daddy’s Trust was not being forthcoming with all the financials. Mr. Foraker’s empathetic and kind disposition calmed me. Made me feel at ease. It’s one thing to lose your parents then to have to worry if you are going to be in trouble with the IRS because of taxes due to someone else’s error. I wanted a CPA to do my rather complicated taxes for 2018; relocation, home sale, two states. Not a problem for Don Foraker! Very friendly and competent. We went through the taxes and he gave me an estimate of what my tax liabilities would be. His final figures were better than the estimate, for which I was very grateful. He answered any and all questions that I had and had my taxes ready within a week. I would definitely recommend him.
