No professional behaviour has been seen. Customer have to wait so long. Waiters taking orders with out the availability of food. Pls avoid this hotel.

The quality of food very bad based on the amount

We had a poor experience and didnt eat any food because the waiter was so careless.

Very bad service given from the waitor.we are a team of 25 member visit the shop waiter can take the order and give the plates then he told the dishes are not this shop. So the service is very bad

One normal chicken biryani is Rs.293 including taxes..Very very expensive..

Very disappointing experience. 💢👎👎👎We Ordered both chicken and mutton biriyani.There were only 4 tiny little mutton pieces with the biriyani and chicken biriyani is not so different.The price of this biriyani is around double that of normal local biriyani 😬😬😬

Very worst experience. If we ask any kind of dishes they say its over and only briyani is available and funny part is even tissue paper is not available they its over in Lunch itself...

It is not a good restaurant. Cheapest quality and not a very tasty one. They are looking like Highway burglars. Their main aim is not to satisfy their customers but to steal their money from their purses by serving them poor quality food. Today, I went there with my Colleague to take our lunch. Menu card shows that the lunch for 2 people is nearly Rs.1000. Menu card says that it is a combo lunch.My fellowmen, At first, please note, the lunch is not within our budget. Then, you have to note, it is very very costly and so very expensive. Last but not least, the served food is not worthy to the money spent for that.After I registered my review, I received a reply for my review. It is an auto reply whenever they receive a review. Four months before, a Local guide complained that the food served here was not good. The Thalappakatty admin replied that the complaint will be taken into the ears of their team., What happened, even after 4 months, they are serving poor quaity food., It means that they have no ears., Our complaints are not heard. They are not ready to change their typical style.What we have to do is, to spread this news to everybody. We should not enter into this restaurant. Worst food ever tasted, service not friendly

The place is really upscale and not a place for normal diet. Their chicken biriyani tastes good, didnt feel anything extraordinary. The quantity is just adequate and not so filling. The amount 280 is just unjustifiable for that quantity. Got 3 very small pieces of chicken in which 70% was only bones. Got a 300ml coke whose price written in the menu as MRP. However it costed 40 bucks. Somehow the price and other factors arent matching up. The final bill, taxes and service charges are just insane.

Used to go thalappakatti every alternative week in chennai for super taste. Expected same taste in theni branch.Cons:1.Dont go for combo until unless going in group2. Biryani coming from dingukal and almost no taste.. All chicken pieces are very big and chewey.. Not able to eat.. Even road side biryani has softer pieces.3. Mutton biryani - not boiled the mutton pieces again too big and not able to eat..Overall its waste to go this branch.. Id you want biryani..Other side dishes are good..

The place is located in roadside and its easy to spot. They have a very nice set of menus and options to choose from, i had a Thalappakattu Mutton Biryani it was good.Too much rice and ok-ok meat, had mutton biryani, rice was well cooked and had a good taste, daal curry came along with i dont know what was it for because it kinda ruins the whole biryani thing, may be its the tradition of that region. Egg was perfectly boiled, mutton was great but lesd in quantity i would say. The place looked nice neat and clean.

Very bad service. Pathetic Mutton biriyaniToday we dine at this restaurant. Service was very poor.Mutton biriyani was pathetic. We couldn’t find even a single mutton piece in it. They charged us ₹309 for 1 mutton biriyani.I never recommend anybody to eat out from this looters.

Mutton Biriyani is Awesome. Different than Hyderabad biriyani but its really good.

Tried chicken n mutton Biryani . Loved the taste . Way different from what we are used to in Kerala.

I have never seen such worst behaviour from the staffs, we have been waiting for half an hour still no one have came to take order from us. In other table, they taking half an hour to delivery the food to customer. Dont try this.

Very few waiting staff. The place is on the highway so they should hire more people. Not sure if it was only that day. Taste wise really good like most branches of the restaurant

Worst experience we had and we dine in yesterday. Whatever we asked for nothing was there. Worst service and no courtesy in addressing the customers . Lots of miscommunication among the staff there. I would suggest to close this branch. Even the orders we placed through swiggy also not getting delivered properly. It’s high time to rework on improving the branch.

It was very average and not up to the expectation, we went for dinner and there only mutton biryani available .when enquired we were informed that they concentrate only on Lunch and dinner is not their main revenue hence food were not available.Do avoid visiting for dinner time

They say they dont have item names they provided added in their system and billed for items which we didnt had saying they are the same price of items served. Not sure how correct it is.

Not great like what it rated as. Service is average and Biriyani was just average here. Quality and quantity doesnt work with what the price we pay.Coke is charged in dollars, if served in glass. Check the bill before you leave.

Please dont buy from here, The quantity is very less and way too expensive, I took a take away of one egg biriyani and one kuska. When opened, the rice for both were the same and for egg biriyani plain 2 eggs were kept on top of it

Premises is well maintained, follows covid protocol well.This time missed the authentic taste of Dindigul Thalappakkatti Biriyani. Less spicy and aromatic components were less compared to the original.quantity is enough for one person .

Biriyani taste is good but in combo pack they are cheating like (they gave one lime juice for not having 2 coke combo option). And also they charged 74Rs for package charges

Its one of the good place in Theni to have a good food. The starters and main courses are mind blowing. If more dessert available like tender coconut dishes it will be more enlightenment. The service is best and every corner of the place are cleaned and maintained well. Most beautiful time to have the food is dinner. Try Muru Muru Chicken stick and Palipalayam Boneless chicken those are the must try in this restaurant.

Ive covered almost all the branches of Dindigul thalappakatti restaurants, all the branches maintain a great quality except the Namakkal one.

Talapakatti aka Turban Briyani in Theni. Not that great.Very very tiny portions of meat. The tawa fish is a let down. No fish but a lot of batter. The onion curd had gone bad because it sat on the table for a long time.The straw for the soft drink is too big. Toilet very very dirty. Has not been washed for years.

Worst experience. I called 15 min before to confirm briyani availability for big number of ppl and they confirmed all type briyani available but once reached they said only mutton and chicken 65 briyani available. Please do not go to this restaurant.

When your travel by Theni, this place is definitely a great choice to get a satisfying food. Food is pricey. Definitely yum, no doubts on that.

Price is high. Parking is not impressive. Taste is somewhat ok. Response is not good. And quantity is also less.

Awful place. The service is almost non-existent. They took our letter after two different waiters made us repeat it two times in a row. Then they messed it up and said we didnt order some. The biriyani is nothing special. Tastes bland. It is just over priced. Costs more than 200 for a mini portion. Best to avoid this place.

Best place for having Biriyani. Great atmosphere. Good option for travellers, as it’s on the highway and have clean toilets.

The biriyani place has got a taste of its own. Though it is a bit overpriced yet , it satisfies the customers appetite.

Very good food. Also conveniently on the Highway. Nice clean interiors and washrooms, which is an added bonus!!
