They changed the turkey from deli style to oven roasted so if you dont care for that you may want to order something else. Its too dry now.Been going here for a more than a few years. Usually order subs an sides. Food is always good. If you like soft style sub rolls this is a place to go. Double meat is also recommended. Also try the potato wedges credit card users are charged extra

Subs were not good. $2 worth of ingredients on a $9 sub. Not worth the money, lacking flavor, would rather drive to Andys in Albany for a real sub.

Used to have subs there for lunch in high school. 1977. Still get the exact same great sandwich now. Everything there is great but their subs are the best. 👍🏻

I dont plan on going back was chewy chicken over cooked. And 38 dollars for two 9 pieces with small boney chickens id rather drive to Popeyes and get real chicken.

Best cheese burgers and potato wedges

Ordered chicken dinner. Asked for 2 breasts because I dont eat dark meat. She said that was ok.. I have no idea what I got but doubt it was breasts. 4 small pieces of severely overcooked chicken. Couldnt even eat it. I wont go there again. My last experience wasnt great either but I was in the area and tried again. Nope. Im done.

Was very pleased with my first time getting wings from Dobys. They were one of the best wings I have ever had. They were moist not dried out and not dripping in grease. Also had a lot of meat on them. Got garlic parmesan wings delicious!

Sub rolls are thin, very dry and chewy, the meat is also low quality. Even the banana peppers were somehow chewy and they didnt bother picking out the stems. They also forgot the vinegar part of oil and vinegar.

The cheeseburger sub is the best menu item, and the fries are always perfect. They have a variety of standard sub options and sides. The restaurant is smaller, sorry not a lot of seating area, but the food is have to order very fast so you wont be waiting long. They dont have an online order option, but you can call ahead.

Always a reliable place. Its been there since Jesus wore short pants. Still great subs at fair prices.

Always great food and they are one of the best places when it comes to social distancing. We place our order ahead of time and pay over the phone and then do curb side pick-up. Theyre always fast to bring the food out and dont make it seem like its a huge inconvenience like some other restaurants.

Can’t ever order a toasted sub and actually get home to open a toasted sub , subway across the street follows directions better lmfao

Dobys has been a favorite place to eat since I was a kid and Im 62 years old, my kids and grandkids love it now too!

Simple but flavorful. Not heavy on the meats but suometimes less is more. My favorite roast beef with russian dressing sub

This place has become my familys new obsession...my husbands favorite meal is a hott turkey dinner...fish frys & clam.rolls are amazing...my kids love the cheeseburgers and fries...I ♡ the onion rings....and its VERY affordable!

My grandson loves Dobys burgers and cheese fries. Cheese fries, regular fries and mozzarella sticks are good. Subs are okay - sub rolls could be much, much better.

Subs are good. Made it very clear that I am allergic to green peppers. When they asked me if I wanted onions on my sub I said sure, well they didnt tell me that they mixed green peppers in with the onions; it was not a fun thing for me. I just dont feel I can go back there.

Decided to try Dobys today for the first time. While waiting to order, my food I observed kitchen staff preparing food. They need to go to food service training! One worker had gloves on (yea!however she never took the gloves off when opening containers, fridge, touching counters, her face and then just dug the Same gloves into the bin of shredded lettuce! Chicken for a customers food was placed on same food prepare table as containers taken from fridge! No protection from cross contamination!!!! Walked out without food and WON’T go back!!!!! NYS health inspectors should take a look at these issues!

I drive 40 minutes just to get the potatoes and wings. Totally worth the trip.

Best subs in Rensselaer county. Also has some killer fried chicken.

Wasted $29.. the place is filthy..floor by where they make the subs was nearly black. Lady making the subs was horribly rude and the subs itself are so thin and pathetic. Also the utensil the lady used to cut the sub..when she was done she wiped the utensil on her dirty apron and continued on cutting the other sub rolls!!! Guess shes never heard of cross contamination We ended up throwing 4 subs in the garbage after 2 people both claimed the subs tasted very off. You are also charged .35 extra when using a debit card. How this place passes inspection for the health department is mind boggling.

Subs are delicious. Really good quality veggies. The service is not the best. Girl at front counter had a HUGE attitude and didnt seem to want to be there.
