Dollar General in Venango County

On memorial day,the store manager ,Donna,( I believe thats her nameis very rude. I came up to the check out as she was going to walk away and said out loud,"I might as well stand back here all day. Im not going to get anything done."I asked if the sold chew by the can as I only saw rolls at that time. I asked for wintergreen long cut. She rudely asked" which is it winter green or long cut? "She threw the can in the bag. And slammed the cat food back on the counter. After the transaction I asked for the district managers phone number and she responded she couldnt give that out. I firm ly told her I would find our and that she was rude and walked out. ..The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced.

Lady working the register is miserable. Not friendly at all. Maybe she should get a job that doesn’t require customer service. I’d rather shop at Walmart then deal with her attitude. Everyone complains about her yet she’s still there, spreading her misery.

This is my favorite Dollar General! The staff is always welcoming, kind and helpful!

Covid safety measures on full display. The cashier was friendly. I stopped here for water during my 100 mile bike ride. Fellow customers were kind, asked me questions, and maintained proper social distancing.

I tried to get a cell phone that had a $40 discount with the purchase of a $40 card. The computers were never set up for the sale. I waited over an hour in the store while the employee was on the phone trying to get the computers up to date. I am still in the store. The sale was supposed to be in the computers three months ago. I want to file a complaint. THIS IS AN UPDATE: The District Manager come through, He was very concern. He personally made sure the issue was corrected to my satisfaction. I was impressed by his actions to resolve the issue. I change the stars to 5 from a 1 solely on The District Managers actions, Thank you.

Difficult to navigate aisles Narrow stock carts everywhere

Friendly people and many items to choose from

We pulled up to Dollar General at 2 minutes till 9:00 needing some treats for our dogs, and before I could even get out of the truck, the woman locked the door and basically laughed in our faces. Good job, Dollar General. You want to beat Walmart, but they would sell me dog treats at 8:58, so who do you think is the winner here? Not you.

Always have to wait for a cashier. Frequent worker is a whiner, complains about having to work and about the amount of items you purchase. Not friendly.

Very unsatisfied. My digital coupon for 5 dollars didnt go through and the person at register didnt do anything to make it right!

Great little store with a little bit of everything.

I love Dollar General and do 85% of my families shopping at there locations. I visited this Dollar General 3 times while on a 9day vacation. It was a different layout then my home Dollar General. It was clean and tidy. The employees where talkative and helpful.

Not open because electric was supposed to be out. Redbox running fine plugged in outside of front door.

This place has almost anything for a quick and cheap grocery shop run. The products were easy to find and service was good.

Yes I always loved going to go to there Pleasantville Dollar General they always have more than we do in Titusville its a great store.... We just love going there.....!!!!!!

The Pleasantville DG is one of the better DG by far.. Their "modern" primitive decor is really nice and extremely fair prices...

4 Stars for convenience but have noticed that several items priced higher than supermarket prices...

They had a speciality throw blanket of Spiderman at a price $3.25

Nice small town Dollar General. Well kept and clean.

Reliably good food with a reliably consistent clientele. Dont come looking for craft brews here. Building is the market to be sold so its anybodys guess after that.
