Dollar General in New Castle County

Store closes early from not enough staff. Rude staff. Isles filled with inventory carts. Surprised this place aint shut down yet.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. Avoid.

Employees are friendly and down to earth. Most customers that shop there are as well.

I was here for business. The store was well stocked and everything was easy to find. ALL of the associates and management were very polite and helpful. They remained pleasant even after mistakes were made and the job that my company was doing did not turn out well. I loved the time I spent at this location. If I am ever in the area again, I will ALWAYS visit this location. Kudos!

Friendly courteous staff, items easily found, can get crowded at times.

Almost had everything on the list. Store could also use a good cleaning and stock the shelves. Things were still in boxes piled up on carts. Almost like a treasure hunt to find things. I think that we went on there stock day but the employees made it fun in spite of all the hard work they were doing plus taking care of customers.

I was very pleased with cleanliness of store. It was organized and agent assisted with all price checks and there were a lot!! This is were I purchased my 96 items.. I go there sometimes daily!

I love the products but the employees are ignorant and lazy. They really need a whole new crew inside that location. 2/2 the time they talk about you in spanish thinking you dont understand them and when you say something to them they get angry. Almost everyone knows spanish these days. Other than the employees its a nice store. Just be careful of the Looney tunes up the shopping center theyre a lil crazy

Lots of empty shelves. Two people working; one stocking shelves and one on register. Nice, friendly employees.

People buying up everything so fast, they cant keep nothing on the shelves. No fault of theres.

Its ok but they dont have any cart cuz the customer stole them all

I like dollar stores. Yet, this one is not good. Mostly one worker who gives you a look of disdain when you ask for something. I dropped a product and she just laughed. Didnt even offer for me to get a new one. Ive seen other staff at Dollar Stores and they are happy.Be happy! A job is a job.

The employees here are VERY rude to their delivery people! Slow and not AT ALL friendly!!

Rarely stocked well. Couldnt get down an aisle because of stock not put away.

The prices are decent and the staff was friendly. I wish they had hair products in stock.

Though I go there often and I am satisfied with most of the prices, having to jump through hoops and you have to have your phone in order to clip or qualify for the special prices is inconvenient.

Very cluttered. I always come in for my phone cards an have to move there creates to get to wat I need. Could barely move in there

Dollar general had everything I wanted as far snacks and kid drinks for my grandchildren for our road trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture .

Always friendly and helpful workers here. The store is kind of a mess, but I think they may be understaffed. Can always find a good deal on something. Cheap seasonal items and its a great place to pick up bread and milk or snacks. Especially since the New Castle area has a real shortage of good grocery stores. Usually end up splitting the food shopping between Walmart and the Farmers Market.

Great atmosphere and People that work there were very pleasant and friendly staffThey also didn’t follow us around thinking we were stealing stuff!!! I can’t stand that!!! I hate liars and Thieves so whenever I’m followed I won’t return.

Has pretty much anything you will need. Not the fanciest or particularly well merchandised, but they have it...what ever it is you may need. Great prices.

Great Store, only down fall of it is the Store is too small. There are products all over the store! Isles are very small and a few you can barely get a cart down, Hopefully no one else tries to come down the isle while you are in it! You have to back out! Employees are always polite and helpful! Need a bigger store!

I live less than a mile from this one and frequent it for snacks. It never fails to satisfy my snack attack cravings. Sure things could be a little less cluttered and the store could be better organized and better stocked but lets be real, Im rolling in in sweats and a ratty sweatshirt for a dr pepper and chips. Im not going here for the atmosphere.

We shop there every week, sometimes twice. Can be a little disorganized as they could use more staff. However, all in all, the deals are worth it.Staff are extremely genial, as helpful as they can be, and the stock moves off the shelves, unlike other, similar stores, where the stock is hot or miss.

Nice store. It is clean and organized. The associates are friendly and welcoming. They ask if you need help. Checkout is quick and efficient. The store is on a safe location.

Limited in cash back options with a fee (might as well get cash back at walmartbut is good for grabbing quick items you may need in a pinch or while on the road. I stopped in to get some chips and they had a pretty decent selection. Had to wait at the register though for someone to help me

Reasonable prices for most things. However to many bulk stock carts are left in aisle.

DG is great. Employees are friendly and helpful. At the New Castle store one of the earlier managers came back and she is the best.

Ive been to many Dollar General and this particular store is the best hands down!! The employees and Manager are ALWAYS so personable and down to earth. We just moved in this area and this is one of my favorite stores. Thank you for a job well done. Denise is the store Manager & she is wonderful.

Employees very helpful and friendly. Store aisles a little difficult to maneuver with the cart. Would be hard to get through with a wheelchair.

Huge variety of items and the associates are really pleasant. The store could be a little cleaner though.

I dislike this store due to it is messy and there are boxes and stuff all over the floor.. Its an accident waiting to happen . To many hazardous situation that can happen. Its just a matter of time .. What ever happened to the managers that was there about a year ago . They kept that store cleaned . There was never anything on the floor or anything. Shelves are empty stuff in boxes blocking aisle floors dirty and stuff thrown all over the place the only register with a belt has been broken for over a year usually you only see two workers in the store today only saw one whats up with this store its been like this since the other workers went to rt 40 new store I guess last summer
