Dr. Ansley W. Sawyer III, DDS in Kennebec County

Yeah my wife was just in his office getting the first filling of her life. This dentist spent the entire time making misogynistic comments and jokes about women and sarcastic comments about Unions. Mind you, my wife is the president of her Union and he did this after she was in a very vulnerable position (already drilled and under Novocain). She also writes for a Maine newspaper. So no matter what his views are, this is not not a smart man. I like someone with better common sense and bedside manner than that. You might think twice before using him as your family dentist. I have three generations of family living in this area and not one of them will allow him to touch their mouths after that. GROSS. My wife came home with extreme anxiety. Lastly, she says the filling he put in “feels sharp” as though he didn’t smooth it down correctly for her mouth. I doubt it will stay in long. That’s our experience with him, so that’s the end of using him for us. Nope.
