This is the go to for Chinese food in the area. Their house chow mein is a staple and the only places I know of that can rival it are in the bay area. They also have amazing soups that are perfect on a colder evening or rainy day.Favorite Chinese restaurant, hands down.
This was the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had in my life. the cream cheese wontons were like a salty hush puppy. My kids wouldn’t even take more then one bite of the egg rolls. Biggest waste of $75 dollars. I would never come back!!
Good serviceFood was hot.
Not as good as it used to be 5 years ago or so. Cashew chicken was bland. Chow mein kind of dry and spring rolls over fried. Gave it two stars because I don’t know if any other places in town that are good.
Been coming here for years, great food. I prefer take-out.
I’d definitely give no stars if I could. The food was absolutely disgusting. I sweet and sour pork was really hard and tasted really old same thing with the chicken fried rice. The chicken corn soup tasted like straight Worcestershire sauce. The walnut shrimp was probably the only thing that was edible and I couldn’t even eat it cuz I’m allergic to shrimp but my family enjoyed it. The only thing that was good was the white rice and even that looked a couple days old. Lastly and grossest of all the shrimp Chomein was a total joke it was crusted over on the top and looked like it’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a week. I’ve never been more disappointed with the food and service of a place. I’m totally grossed out and will never be here again and would never recommend to my wordt
When we were seated the woman just walked away with the menus and said in a short manner, “over here” set the menus down on the table and walked away. Food came out way too fast so obviously was not fresh. Paper wrapped chicken was balls of chewey meat with very little flavor. The chicken fried rice was bery bland and had small chuncks of dry chicken. My daughter’s boyfriend ordered shrimp chow mein which presented as a dark brown blob of noodles, crusted over and appearing had been reheated several times. The shrimp was mushy. My daughter said the white rice was good. 😂. I hadn’t been here in years and the quality of food has quite obviously diminished. No soup offered with meals or hot tea. We were celebrating my son’s birthday and had planned to go to Chinese Garden but they were closed. I complained and was able to get the shrimp chow mein taken off. Still paid $71.00. Will not be back. Surprisingly did not get sick from food. Kitchen looked cleaned when walking past outside entrance. When we got home my daughter said,”They didn’t even give us fortune cookies!” I agree Panda Express is even better! Shout out to Chinese Garden for preparing their food with flavor and obvious consistency of freshness compared to Chinese Garden. When I can afford it will be doing a “redo” at Chinese Garden.
Best chinese in the Yuba-Sutter area!
I have to give it four stars its not as good as it used to be
Good food!Outstanding service!
Its one of my favorite places to go eat the food is amazing and if you dine in the staff is friendly and quick and the portions of food is big i would recommend you eating here the egg rolls are amazing
We found our new Chinese food spot! Delicious. Hot. Great service.
Great chinese food!! We ordered the dinner for 2 and were allowed to change 1 of the entree choices to lemon chicken at no extra charge. EVERY OTHER chinese restaurant Ive eaten at charges extra to change. Great food! Great place!
If I can give no stars I WOULD.Very bad Customer Service. Especially the lady who greets you, has very bad attitude.
Nice quiet place to eat. Try the shrimp toast with hot mustard and plum sauce while enjoying a Zombie. They are polite and fast with the service.
Surprisingly great food! Definitely worth it.
I am just wondering for the people who had “great experiences here” what did you get because the food there was not good what’s so ever. The rice they served us looked like rice from last night barely warmed up. All my food was greasy and leek warm. My beef and broccoli tasted like frozen food from winco microwaved. Would never come here again But if you are looking for a PERFECT CHINESE IN THE CORNER GEM! Try CHINA MOON
I dont usually leave bad reviews but this was the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. The Panda Express or mall food court food tastes better. Overall it was extremely bland and overpriced for the poor quality. The Singapore fried rice had no flavor, and had hard grains of rice in it. We also ordered Mongolian chicken but they served beef; when the order was remade, it was tasteless. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour and had pork in it despite my specifying no pork in my order. The service was also extremely slow, but thats because they only had one server for the whole restaurant and seemed short of staff in general, which I can understand these days. The only positive is the interior of the restaurant is actually decent looking. I would not at all recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My wife and I got married here just about 10 years ago. Food was great at the time, and it still holds up today. Fantastic place. Great service, great food.
Been going to this place since the 70s and since the new ownership took over a couple years ago this place went downhill as far as the food quality goes..Brandy fried chicken had no batter just plain chicken.no flavor, the noodles looked like top ramen.I definitely vowed not to go back t this place ever again. .Go to Chinese Garden instead
Great selection, Good food maybe a little pricey. But that doesnt stop my family from return visits. Definitely not my last visit!
Always amazing food! My favorite since I was a kid! 30+ years I still love this place
Food was good, that said they did not offer or bring hot tea, menu said dinner came with soup, it was not provided. Waitress was new and I think that was part of the problem.
The service was good. Food was bland I had s&s pork. Very tough and the oil tasted old. This place use to be great. I no longer serve hard liquor but wine and beer although I dont drink. Plenty of food but not good tasting. 2019 wasgreat then. May go back later in year
We called in our order. We asked them to have it ready for pick up by 6pm. Guess what? When we went inside at 6pm, we paid the bill, and VOILA! The employee handed me a box with our order. When we arrived home, and set down to eat, the food was piping hot, all of it! The food was delicious, a tad different from the previous owners, but still very good.
One of the best places left in town to get decent Chinese food. We ordered ahead and they had it ready and all right when we got there. We always get extra for the next day! My favorite thing here is honey walnut shrimp and the egg rolls 😋
We had a party of 12 and we’re treated like gold! It was my mama’s 84th birthday and we got the party room to ourselves. Which is great with special needs kidsThe food is perfect!! Huge props(and tipsto our waitress!
Very good food .quick service wish they had more selection of drinks there was nothing caffien free .when we first went in the lady behind the counter said 3 of you table or bouth we said booth.we set down were she said she give us 2 menues 2waters 2 plates.little puzzles but ok then the waitress comes and says ohh there are 3 of you any way I got Crispy duck was very tender but had a wired flavor mabey cooked in peanut oil just not my flavor every one Easley injoyed it .tho.mom had a birds-nest it was very good my wife had a calmarie was also good thank you dragon inn I will be back
First time coming here I ordered orange chicken for take out came out to 14$. Portion size is great but the chicken is so dry that it makes me really upset. :(
Always have the best Chinese food in the whole zip code. Have never had a bad experience in the 20+ years eating hereAs of 2019 Dragon Inn is under new management. The food is still good, but its not the same. Prices have gone up too.
The food is great but you get what you pay for, higher cost means better food. From the other responses you can see that some people in Marysville dont know taste and price so they should stick with Panda Express for FAST FOOD, BAD food low price.
Dragon Inn is ALWAYS a reliable spot for good food. Even when theyre busy, they keep wait times to a relatively manageable time. I HIGHLY recommend their brandy fried chicken.
Too expensive for the quality. Obviously cheap ingredients. Bland tastes. Rice and noodles were hot when I got my food but the lemon chicken was cold. Lemon sauce was very sweet. Tasted exactly like melted Lemonhead candies🤢. Thru it away!🗑 Any other local Asian eatery is better bet. Id rather had Panda panda panda... 🐼✌
The food is awesome! Our favorites are the House Special Lo Mein, General Chicken, and the egg rolls are the best Ive ever had. Friendly service and decent prices.
we had the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. both were good and tasted good. the lady that helped me was friendly. the dining area looked clean, but with covid inside dining is not allowed. will definitely return to sample their other menu items.
This place is always amazing. It doesnt look like much from the outside but theres a good amount of space inside to seat a few large groups and lots of smaller tables. I really like the sweet and sour pork but their shrimp in lobster sauce is addicting! So good!
VERY RESPECTFUL STAFF. QUALITY OF CHICKEN I HAD WAS VERY VERY GOOD. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN BECAUSE A GOOD SMALL FAMILY RESTO IS HARD TO FIND IN THIS TOWN. WELL DONE
The staff was great... our waiter was actually spectacular... the food was average... Id say worth a try... but the chow mein didnt look like any Id seen before and could have used a few more veggies... the general chicken wasnt very spicy ... but the white rice was cooked perfect...
Still have the same menu with small alterations and price increase. No more mixed drinks, which I will miss. Food was fantastic, same as before. Service is new and working out the kinks, but was still reasonably fast. I will definitely be going back.
I coworker brought me here for lunch and it was delicious pear soup has so much flavor and is piping hot. Airport tions are large and there a girls are absolutely humongous. I really enjoyed my lunch and well be back again.
This restaurant was such a bummer experience for me and my family. The food looked so good very well presented. However with each different dish I tried I can taste something that resembled a dirty pan. It was unexplainable and gross. I literally could not choke it down. A big thumbs down from me and my family as we did not eat more than what we tried and we left without to-go boxes
Delicious food at a reasonable price. Called in our order for the first time. They said it would be about 45 minutes, but it was about 1 hour. Not too bad. We usually eat there. Faster service and they really watch for your needs. Love Dragon Inn.
I do believe this is the best Chinese food Ive ever had. Lee canton is also excellent, and youd have to eat each side by side to declare a winner. A bit pricey but extremely good. Go and do try the shrimp toast. Its incredible.
Im a regular. Staff knows my orders and how I prefer they make them. They even gave me an extra egg roll because I packed, but forgot one a few days prior.
Polite staff. Very fast service for a restaurant. Seriously, drive through timing. Purchased beef and asparagus and wonton soup. Excellent!!!!!! This Tennessee gal approves! YUMMY!!!!!
Oh my god, its so good its ridiculous I cant even describe the godliness that is this food. Scrumptious, flavorful, mouthwatering, heavenly, divine, and succulent are only a few words that come to mind when I eat this food. And plus this place rocks with the environment, so classy and nice. And the staff are the homies, theyre awesome too.
The fried rice and won tons are amazingly delicious here. I also enjoyed the sweet and sour pork. The Chow mien tasted more like old chicken noodle soup, wasnt very good. Worth a visit if you like Chinese food.
Nice atmosphere -white tablecloths! Good food, generous portions. The shrimp toast is incredible! Waiter was most helpful; showed us better menu choice for what we originally ordered. Chatted with other long-time patrons, praise all around.
I absolutely love the chow mein! The staff does speak English some better than others. Food is pretty fast, but if youre ordering to go I suggest calling. My boyfriend and I love this place and order from here or dine in a couple times a month. Prices to me are fare.
Me and my family have been eating their for over 3 generations! Everything is delicious and the service is quick and the dining is traditional and beautiful. The waitresses know my family and know what we like definitely a great place to celebrate or go to after church for lunch!P.S its a bit pricey but!!! They give you way more then you need. :definitely recommend it to my friends family and strangers!
