Best brewery/tasting bar in the State.
Nice brewery - fun activities on many nights of the week and often music or comedy on the weekends. Beer is good and not very expensive for Denver. Closes a bit early for my taste, but you can’t have everything!
Their apricot ale is always a hit when I introduce people to it, and I like the free popcorn. Theyve had some good seasonal beers and firkins too.
Great beer. world class! Staff superb. Hit it when in CO!
Weve been going to Dry Dock for years. Their flagship beers have always been good, especially the Apricot Blonde and Vanilla Porter. They added seltzers to the menu a while back and theyre definitely worth a try (or a flight). The Pineapple Coconut is my absolute fav. The most recent addition of Docktails is something you wont find at many breweries. Dry Dock constantly finds ways to set themselves apart from the rest of the brewery crowd. Between beers, seltzers, cocktails and house made non alcoholic root beer... Youre sure to find something to quench your thirst.Merch:Tin trackers, t-shirts, hoodies, sun glasses, hats, masks, variety of glassware
Great beer, but not the place to get a growler filled. $26-$32 to fill a 64oz? That’s way more than competitors who start at $12.
Best brewery ever! Great service and my glass is never empty. Love love the staff! Always a fun time here
Sat at the bar for 25 minutes while all the guests around me got served. Didn’t even get a hey, we’ll be right with you. That’s literally all it takes. The beer is so subpar it’s crazy, not one bubble of CO2 in solution in the hef.
Had a few good drinks here. Parking lot that runs around the building probably makes this a good place to go! I enjoyed a Pomegranate Smoothie and the old favorite, Apricot Blonde.
These guys are doing some great things. The dark and stormy lager is very interesting. Never had anything like it. All the brews so far are wonderful. Was able to chat a bit with the head brewer. Really great chat!
One of our favorite spots to relax and grab a beer. Always a wonderful selection and we love stopping in on Fridays to grab a glass of their weekly small batch release. Dry Dock never disappoints!
Solid selection of beers, nice atmosphere, with a friendly staff. They always have popcorn on hand and to go beer! You can order delivery from lots of local restaurants or bring your own food if you want. Definitely worth stoning in if youre in the area.
I bought a Shirt to support them because their seasonal beers are absolutely delightful. The staff is fun and the atmosphere just wonderful. Great memories have been made at this place.Big fan of their Cherry Blonde!!!Update Nov. 2021: I now own 3 Shirts.
The beer here is unique and well crafted. The apricot blonde is tried and true, but if adventurous try their small batch releases!
Awesome vanilla beer. But no food.. good service 👍
We enjoyed the Belgin and Blackberry Blonde- very nice brewery
Have been taking my sons there since little drinking the best Root beers in the world and playing shuffle board and popcorn! Vanilla Porter is always my go-to! Been coming here when Kevin used to sell me beer out of his trunk! Lol. JK. Family place! Thank you for being the best and now my son who used to drink root beer 10 plus years ago now drinks the Porter! Best brewery ever come at me!
I enjoy stopping at Dry Dock for one of my favorites, Apricot Blonde. They have indoor and outdoor seating, including a tented area with picnic tables that allows you to bring your dog along. Add in the attached brew makers shop, for all your home brewing needs it becomes a truly unique stop. Be aware, there werent any food trucks when I was there, so the popcorn machine is the only food available. Maybe a stop at the nearby Golden Wok (another on my favorites listis in order.
Great selection of Brews! (Hard Seltzer options too!Good rotating items and the Flagship brews are always a good choice.
Nice space and good beer. I came here after visiting The Brew Hut next door. I have had some of Dry Docks beer in the past, but this was the first time in the brewery itself. It was not busy, but it was mid afternoon on a weekday. I sampled the hazy IPA and then ordered Hop Abomination. The IPA was good, but the hazy had a slight apricot flavor that seemed out of place. I asked the beertender about it, but she told me emphatically that she gave me the right beer and didnt seem interested in any further conversation about it. I was actually surprised by her response, but maybe she was more interested in her book. I really enjoyed the barrels in the tasting room and the space was large, with a connection to the brew shop. I am sure this is a popular spot for locals and they all seemed pretty content. As someone who often travels just to visit different breweries, this one will not be one I plan to revisit. I admit I may have a completely different experience if I was to come again and I know the beer is good, but the first impression did not impress.
My husband and I have been going to the place for years, but had been recently tried to go every Friday, mainly for their fun and tasty small batches. While most of the staff had been consistently great with us for all these years and we really love the variety in beers they have, we have been noticing that for the last three or four visits, first with one staff member in particular, and now with pretty much anyone on staff that, regardless of where we happen to be seated, service is inconsistent at best, and dismissive at worse.Tonight was probably the last time visiting, since we sat at our table without having anyone check up on us after dropping one drink off 35 minutes prior. As much as I love the place and as much as love their beer and especially their small batches, I think that if I feel like having anything from Dry Dock, I will probably be better off drinking it elsewhere, or just buying some from the liquor store to take home.
They have taken great efforts to stay open, while providing as safe of an environment as possible. Constantly cleaning and contact free payment. I enjoy the variety of options on tap of freshly brewed products.
Usually have a good time at this location. The staff has been pretty rude lately. They think they "know" better since they work in a brewery. One employee said he wasnt working, then went behind the bar to pour beers. You work in hospitality, might want to act like it.
Every week they have a small batch and its really amazing. The servers are really great, I really enjoy coming here. Their beers are awesome, they have a flavor for everyone.
Made a drive up because we were big fans of the beer. I came on my birthday so we were excited about the beer, merch, and just hanging out. Sour Apricot is my favorite, but sour customer service bites! The beer and merch scan code that was on the table brought up glasses, shirts, and hats that were one price, but the bartender argued that we used the wrong site and the stuff actually cost more. Vibes werent super welcoming, but service was quick. Anywho, beer would have tasted a lot better with cooler staff. Thanks anyway!
Delicious selection of great beer. The staff is really nice and helpful, they gave great suggestions when we were having trouble to decide which beers to order. The space is really big, but because it fills up fast and it’s first come first serve.
Bingo every Monday! Stellar stouts and fruity beers. Excellent seasonals.seasonal. I miss the Chocolate Coconut Blonde, I dont think people gave it a chance, but it was stellar. Everything I love goes away...sob..🤣
I love this brewery! They are doing what they can through the covid restrictions, however the last time we went it was 32° and we received extra discounts for supporting them! They dont have a heated patio though, bring a hat and gloves if its cold out!
Great beer! The tap room is the way to drink drydock beer. The tap room is great for families, has shuffleboard and board games, outdoor seating, popcorn, and you can bring your own food. Only downside is there is never a food truck here.
This place is amongst my favorite small-medium sized craft breweries in Denver. Despite having expanded to distribute throughout much of Colorado they’ve maintained the neighborhood taproom feel here. And the beer is still top-notch.
Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this brewery. Ive been coming to Dry Dock since they first opened. My complaint is please for the love of God stop putting up so many fruity, flavored beers on tap. I dont understand why you guys drop your home fleet and award winning recipes for peanut butter and coconut blonde ales. Its alright to have a few fruit spiced beers but went tonight and theyve got 18 drinks available and only 6 arent something infused with a flavor. I love Dry Dock but this is depressing and Ive noticed this a lot lately. Maybe its about pleasing the crowd and the tread but please dont stop what made you guys awesome. I hope to see my favorite brewery get their focus back because I dont want to go elsewhere to enjoy the beers that I like
The Chocolate Coconut Blonde is incredible! Must try it before its gone!
I always have an excellent experience when I come in here. Theyre always rotating their seasonal taps with new and incredible brews!!! If you want to experience the Best in Colorado Craft Brewing, Dry Dock is the place to go!
Love Dry Dock Brewing, my favorite local brewery so far. Great Oktoberfest, Docktoberfest, and excellent beer. The staff always takes time to describe the new beers on tap when we have questions. If you’re a home brewer, they have an amazing store with everything you could possibly need for Brewing including recipes and all the ingredients. Can’t say enough great things about them.
There is a reason this place is popular among locals and well known in Denver. The selection of styles of beer is great and the quality is above average. They really know what they are doing here. Their barrel-aged stuff is amazing. The apricot blond is delicious and makes sense why theres so much of their merchandise is centered around it. Really love what they are doing with their sours I wish I could get more than a 10 ounce pour. This is my second time going and I will definitely be back. Also looking forward to check out to the home brewing area during the day Ive only come at night so far.
Great Beers, Ales, IPAs, Porters and Stouts! My favorite Aurora Brewery in A-Town! I love being an Pure Aurora Native! Come on in and tip a pint. Clean and Bright. Kind staff. Good folks. Great music. (free popcorn but no food (usuallyon site, they dont care if you order in. Wing Hut is just kitty-corner, SUPER good and the place delivers...🎼❤🍺
Phenomenal Colorado brews can be found here, from whiskey barrel-aged chocolate stouts to double grapefruit IPAs. Always nice staff. In addition, this brewery welcomes and promotes local restaurants giving people the option to enjoy their favorite brews with their favorite food. Try them out if you havent, you wont regret it.
One of the best local breweries around! I absolutely love their beer and have bought it and shipped it to friends in 3 other states whom have also enjoyed the beer immensely! I will say tho that the popcorn used to be better when it was the actual butter on it vs. the canola oil which is now vegetable oil so it doesnt have any flavor now, but hey its free! Ive got some disc golf discs, a hat, and a shirt from there as well as some stickers on my car too. This place is great and their staff is awesome at both locations!
Great atmosphere, super laid-back staff and some truly superb craft beers. They dont serve food, but allow you to bring in anything from anywhere--Ive brought Tupperware with home-cooked meals--and ordered pizza, wings, whatever, from a couple of notebooks full of local menus that float around. The Dry Dock is kid-friendly (technically, its a tasting room, not a bar), with shuffleboard, shelves full of games (gotta make sure they have all the pieces), and their own root beer and cream soda brewed on the premises. The place is spacious enough for parties (I threw my 55th there, simply gave them a heads-up). Its often crowded and loud, especially if theres a party, live music or trivia, but it can also be quite quiet (I spent many nights studying for my CDL there). The beers are a tad pricey, but regular customers often enjoy deep discounts!
Large tap room. Friendly bar staff and patrons and, of course, great selection of beer.
It’s funny, most people know them for their Apricot Blond, but we come to the brewery for the dark beers! Naked Porter, Imperial Stout, and the amazing Wee Heavy. Dry Dock is a must stop in Denver! Follow us on Instagram for the best in craft beer: hop_republic
A bit loud, but really neat atmosphere and really good beer! I especially enjoyed the "latte" - a coffee stout and vanilla porter combination beer. (Picture of it attached.)
Dry Dock has been my North Star of South Denver breweries. Tap selection is always plentiful and varied for most pallets. And if you are a home brewer...? Then you’re in luck as you can walk next door, beer in hand, and purchase the ingredients for your next brew day! Cheers.
Always a fun time. Their tasting room is quite large, and they have a good selection of beers on tap. Usually 12 or more. Good atmosphere. I have never seen a good truck here, and thats one thing I wish they did have.
Great environment, free popcorn with your beer and plenty of house brews. Must try.
Great place to grab a delicious beer but is lacking big screen TVs. Staff was great and courteous.
Relaxing place to grab some brew. Great outdoor and indoor seating, informative bartenders, and great music to really set the tone. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to grab some quality "mile high" craft beer!
Quite the experience.Love the staff, the brew and the atmosphere. To visit is to experience the small independent brewery at its finest. The staff are always helpful and looking to serve. They are knowledgeable about all their menu items. The brew is a must. There is nothing more fine than trying their delicious concoctions. They keep it fresh with experimental firkins and if something works, it stays. The atmosphere is fantastic. Theres a large crowd at peak times, but you never feel crowded out. I can sit and carry on a conversation with nearby patrons and enjoy myself alone it with a group of friends. The atmosphere is complete by the attached brewery supply store. They sell kits to make their brews and offer advice to novice and veteran alike. If you have not been to dry dock, you are missing out. This gem stand out amongst the crowd and sets a standard that is hard to beat.
Easily my favorite brewing company! Their apricot blond is a must try; however, Ive enjoyed almost all of their staple beers and they are all great (although the rotating menu is definitely worth trying and I always cave in and get a growler, haha)! The staff has always been very friendly and Id strongly recommend this to anyone in the Denver/Aurora area looking to enjoy some delicious beer.
This place is amazing and Ive only been here 30 minutes. The staff are very personable and attentive, the beer is delicious, and they allow dogs on the patio. I may have found a new favorite brewery. <edit> also they havent played a song that I wasnt hooked on at some point in my life.
