Dygert Nature Preserve in Whitley County

Watch out for the ice and look for the painted squares on trees to stay on the trail. Can be very muddy but was a great walk through the woods.

its very pretty once you get into the woods but every time i go i always end up with ticks on me so be warned wear bug spray and do a tick check after

One of my favorite places ever

Very pretty nature. A swamp back in woods like in the movies. lots of off trails. Could easily get lost. Always keep to the right. Always!!!We went on a rainy day so it was muddy. lots of animal sounds but sadly we didnt see any. I would Walk it again. I think it be great as a jogging trail or youth group outing.

You have to walk straight back from the parking lot about a half mile to get to the entrance. I thought our hike was over before we even got there!

Great trail, hidden gem. Could be a little better maintained, but the rusticness of it makes it unique.

An Acres property, it has a large wooded area with several trails. There are a variety of trees, fauna, and wild life to be enjoyed by hikers and naturalists.
