Its a very nice park I enjoy walking the bike trail and today they had a senior walk the three mile they had different people from around Modesto they had breakfast there and then we all went for a three mile walk it was great
LOVE taking my cats for a walk. The view is amazing. There is alot of kitties and its safe to take your kids, the park is really big, but well taken care of. Restrooms are always open and enough space to go run and exercise.
This is a great place to meet friends and go for a run, walk or bike ride. You can get over 8 miles just staying on the paved path. There are also picnic tables, grills, childrens play area, tennis courts, grassy areas, disc golf course and restrooms.
I go bike riding with my son every week. Beautiful bike trail, easy to ride, no steep hills.
Nice spot to catch a breath while bike riding. Usually I see families and groups of friends here. Good shade from some trees. Bring extra water, Dont drink from the water fountains, I saw a homeless man washing his hair in one. There are bathrooms here but with no doors, as well as homeless filtering in and out of them.
I love this park! It has a great disc golf course, great path and trails for bikes, walking, or running! My girl Ginger loves to come here! She says bring it Mom!
Great park and trail to ride bikes, walk, run and spend time as a family. A much loved part of Modesto!
This park is one of the better equipped ones in Modesto, though it has a little bit of trash laying around its generally well kept. Awesome place to bring the kiddos and let them run wild
Nice dry park full of homeless drug using not for children
An okay park, as parks go. Felt safe, just a little unkept and run down.
Hit or miss kinda park, pros is that it’s a big park with lots of space to run and jog and have a good time with family, Cons: homeless in the area, sleeping in the brush and behind bushes, kinda surprise you if you aren’t aware they are there. I’ve never had an experience where they confront or bother but there are a few with mental disorders so be aware.Another is some bikers on the path are kind of rude and you can get hurt by them if not careful.
Great park my son and wife love to come here! The trail end on La loma neighborhood as you walk west
Great mountain biking trails for beginners. I really enjoy this park.
Nice play structure, lots of grass to play on. Nice for walking riding a bike are jogging during the day. Covered Party area. Includes pretty good disc golf corse with 18 holes crossing a river. Parking is not great. Restrooms are not clean, homeless and drug attics are not uncommon to the park.
The front nine is a short birdie fest but the 18 in back starts way on the other end of the park and is much more challenging.
Each time is a new adventure loved the trail i took. Love the squirrels and nature
Beautiful Saturday. Nice path and the vibes were friendly. It does get crowded with parking but it was worth it with my family and I! Also very clean as well.
Great big place 2 vizit wit the fam.. Somethan 4 all
Nice park to ride your bike or take your pooch for a walk
Always busy with people biking, playing tennis, walking their dogs, bringing their kids to play. Parking is sometimes crowded at certain times of the day and on weekends. There are public restrooms kinda small though with an occasional bike rider smoking in the stall. Just once in a while though. Big place to walk and there are picnic tables too.
I was surprised with the new childrens playground. It has a lot of cool things for kids to play on. I always love the closeness I feel to nature when visiting this park. Its pretty well maintained and families can come here to enjoy time together..
Safe and beautiful and ample green space to walk by the creek. New playground for the kids too. 2 disc golf courses, a 9 hole and 18. Tennis courts and a basketball court
I love riding along the path. I wished theyd put up solar lights or something cause not all of us can go during the sun shining parts of the day!
This is a very nice park. Great for the kids to play at the playground with the other children. Good place to go for a stroll or a run. Good place to go play some sports.
Great place to get out, and and do things and stuff.
Awesome place to walk or exercise, play tennis & basketball, also Frisbee games going on. Clean park, daily maintained by great staff! Totally recommend, safe with many people always around, 🐕 of leashes 👍.
Nice park, typically fairly quiet and well maintained. People seem to be reasonably respectful and not throw trash everywhere, which is nice. Cans seem to be regularly cleaned out and maintained, the picnic areas seem to always be beat and tidy when not in use. Parking is normally the factor as there are only a limited number of spaces and they fill up quickly. That said there is a lot of in and out so there is always an opportunity to snag a spot.As always, pack it in and pack it out and be respectful of others
Love my runs at this location. The view is great and seeing cute squirrels never gets old. The new playground is in a perfect location, good place for a small birthday party.
Favorite park lots of activities to do , one of my favorites things to do mtb, lots of trails to ride
Great course, just has a walking path through the park. We had a great time here for a great cause. And that was for a junior girl to help get her to junior worlds 2021.
Has a nice disc golf course wirh 4 different baskets per hole but its nor very desciptive when it comes to which basket to play and irs hard to find some of the tee boxes. Its also has heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the park
Beautiful day, nice walking trails, pet friendly😊👍
Great place to bring the family! Brand new play ground. Picnic tables. Tennis courts. Large disc golf course. Paved trail for biking, walking, etc. Large open fields. Come and check it out!
Great park! Very large and scenic right by the river. Has nice bball courts, great disk golf area and large grassy area for all kinds of activities.** as an update... I was told someone would contact me about my bad experience yet now nearly 2mos later and Ive heard nothing, not even through my formal herts review.
One of the best parks we have in Modesto. Lots of trails to skate/walk/bike. New playground. Picnic tables and green grass. Love coming here with the family
love coming here for a walk. Very nice Walking and bike path nice scenery. City and community has done pretty good taking care of the homeless problem.
Great park! Ive been playing disk golf there for about two years now, such a fun sport and pastime. Always meeting meeting awesome new people. And they added a new playground for the kids. Its good seeing all the families out there!
Visited this park several times in recent months. Great place to chill under a shady tree, take a walk, have a picnic, go for a bike ride or let the kids loose on the playground. Plenty of parking. Theres also tennis, basketball and frisbee golf courts.
Cool park.. good variety of things to do.
Great park with lots of activities. Theres a creek, playground, basketball court, whatever those metal things are called for frisbee golf, and lots of hiking trails. Could use more parking spaces though and the bathrooms werent the cleanest or best stocked. There are lots, and I mean lots, of people there, on foot, on bikes and with dogs so you have to pay attention to your surroundings but if youre ok with that then please give this park a visit.
Great place for some exercise and hike. At times its a little sketchy. There are several homeless people living around there. I had found used condoms, needles, and trash while going for a run. It gets crowed too often and sometimes there is no parking. There have been a few improvements throughout the years but it is still unsafe at times.
Great trail. Lots of room for people to hike or ride bikes. A few different paths to take as well ...most important, I felt safe, with just myself & my dog!!
The park is beautiful during most of year, just choose a time for that works and simply go to nature.I would avoid, before 6am and after 9pm though the parks attendees can get unsavory. The rest of the time there is activity of various types; Disc golf, picnics, volleyball, bikes, basketball, and long trail walks.During the day MPD has bike patrols, from time to time, and make sure you leave nothing on your seats if you plan to be away for a while.
Excellent park for a long.... Walk. Watch out for snakes. Not kidding..
Been going to this park most Sunday’s with our family and friends since 2001. Love the area. Very fun long and paved bike trial curves from one side to the other across town with the creek running beside. You can find off-road dirt bike trails with sweet jumps and gaps even closer to the creek - beautiful views.
beautiful park this is where my daughter meets up for practice for her school trm looks like a great place to run its kind of hard to find its a little hidden but once youre inside there is parking at the bottom and its huge park with different activities to enjoy alot of people here
Nice bicycle, walking, or running trail, about 4 + miles long
This park is really busy and is lovely. It is well kept and clean. Has basketball courts, paved biking, walking trails, dogs allowed, Frisbee Golf, Bathrooms with running water ( no soap or hand dryer or doors to bathroomsCovered picnicking area, tennis courts. It is easy to access by car, bike or walking. Has a certain amount of friendly homeless folks but you feel safe with the park being so busy.
There is dirt and paved trails for walking/jogging/running. The play ground is now gone and just sand.
Favorite place to walk, bike, palm tennis, just relax and enjoy nature in the middle of the city. Great place to be.
