East Shore Lodging in Pike County

Great place to stay and reasonably priced. We were so surprised when we walked into our room. It was much bigger than expected and very clean. Check in and out was super easy. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 2 nights the beginning of November. Room was immaculate nice surprise for PA. It was a last minute getaway and had stayed in 2 other hotels in the area through the years. This was by far the nicest. Beds were very comfortable plenty of coffee pods, towels, and toiletries. The location was perfect for years Ive wanted to walk the walking path around Lake Wallenpaupack finally did it before we checked out. Definitely something to consider doing.

Nice and quaint place. Great view of Lake Wallenpaupack. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that in spite of the beautiful weather, the boat tours had shut down for the winter.

Enjoyed our stay with East Shore Lodging. The lake is right across the street and very easy to access from the motel. The motel was very clean and the room was HUGE! We stayed in a double queen room and were shocked by the amount of space we had. Check-in and check-out were super easy. I would recommend this motel.

The staff/owners were friendly and down to earth. The rooms were spotless and smelled great! Each room is unique with many nice touches. Four of our rooms had walk in showers and each had a couch or other sitting area. The location is perfect too - the lake is across the street with hiking trails as well as boat rentals. Its within walking distance of restaurants and a short drive to town. We will be back for the boat tour and fishing next time. Thanks very much!

Loved the place and the amenities...super friendly staff. We accidentally left a few items in the room when we checked out. The front desk called me and told us and they are willing to ship the items back to us. Top notch staff and place to stay if you want to be by the lake 👌

Convenient location close to restaurants and right across street from boat rentals, tours and a beach. Very clean and modern rooms. No check-in required as you get a door code to use, which isnt activated until check in time.Already booked another trip in September.

If youre looking to stay at the lake, this really is the best place to be. The public beach and trails you can all walk to, and theres places to eat in walking distance as well! They also offer discounted rentals and offer a WONDERFUL Boat Tour.

Great location! Staff friendly and helpful! Room exactly as pictured! We had a wonderful long weekend! I left a few pieces of clothing they actually went to the post office and mailed them to us!

Callie was fantastic when we called to reserve our rooms - very friendly and professional! Rooms were updated, close to the lake and extremely clean.

Very clean.....especially shower & bathroom area! Loved the No-Contact check-in & check-out. Bedding was new. Generous room size. Perfect location to enjoy little adventures like East Shore Lodging Boat Tour of Lake Wallenpaupack and the Soarin Eagle Rail Trail. Delicious ice cream right next door. Across the street was a walking trail and benches perched on a long curving embankment around lake to watch sunsets!

We have stayed here several times. The staff is wonderful. They are always kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is great and close to everything. I have recommended my family and friends to stay here as well. Great place!

Our room was large and clean. Check in and check out was super easy. The only negative was that we would have appreciated safety bars in the shower. It wasnt a problem for us but could be an issue for other guests.

After many years of boating trips to Lake Wallenpaupack we stumbled upon this gem called East Shore Lodging, which exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, well-stocked and very well taken care of. The staff we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. From the initial booking, the young lady that got our room prepared, and the gentleman that got us situated once we arrived, we couldn’t ask for a more enjoyable experience. Being a small business owner myself, I was pleased to find this to be a family-owned business doing an exceptional job. We will be returning soon! Thank you East Shore Lodging!

Nice place. Modestly priced. Very friendly staff. Super clean rooms, with the typical amenities that youd expect of an upscale hotel (refrigerator, microwave, coffee, nice soap and shampoo, etc). The room was well kept, with updated furniture and paint. The beds were comfortable, with plenty enough pillows. Conveniently located on the side of a small plaza, which hosts a variety of services, including an ice cream shop. If traveling with a boat or camper, there are an allotment of parking spaces available.If I am ever in the area again, I would certainly stay here again.

I would love to start off with yall are so kind!The staff is so sweet , very easy and no haste to get in the room. Very spacious. Slept at peace with my kids. Very quiet. Clean space. We are planning a family get away here in the summer with extended family.We appreciated and enjoyed the games in the closet.The writing desk was amazing for my girls they enjoyed coloring and writing spot.

A great "port in any storm"! Discovered this quaint family owned lodging on a winter business trip to Tafton. Extended my stay due to snow and ice storm "Landon"! Felt more like home than a motel! Exceptional service, well appointed rooms and up to date accommodations!

These rooms are modern and comfortable! TV, fridge, microwave, easy room access that doesnt require key, and trendy little rooms. I had a great two nights here and will definitely be back.

Great place! Just as all good reviews say. Was impressed and I only like to stay at places that are really clean, nice. It was a clean, lovely room. Very spacious compared to your typical hotel room which was great with kids. Easy contactless check in. Plenty of space like chairs, tabletops in room. And great location near good restaurants and the beautiful lake is immediately across the street.

Great location..minor issue with room once communicated to management thy took immediate action. Loved the contact less check in and out. Guests respected quiet hours very peaceful stay.

My husband and I had such a great experience overall. The view from our room was gorgeous and we loved seating outside our room at night to watch the sunset. Everyone was so nice and the room was very clean.

It is a clean, small business motel. The room was large and well appointed with two tables, a couch, fridge, microwave and a couple beds. We just drove right up, entered our code and walked right in. It is also across the street from the lake and a scenic viewpoint and a couple restaurants.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The room was super clean, the people were very friendly. So convenient, we were able to rent paddle boards and walk across the street to the lake. Walk around the corner and get ice cream! Perfect place to go.

We loved our trip to Lake Wallenpaupack and East Shore Lodging and Boating helped to make it easy, comfortable, and affordable. Suite was huge and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and it was nice to have a separate living area with dining table. Staff was helpful and friendly prior to check in and during our stay. Loved the keypad door locks. No keys to remember or misplace! Very nice lake themed decor and comfortable linens. Boating folks, Nathan and Fred were great. They got us all set up. The boat was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed for an afternoon in the sunshine, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful lake. Prices for the boat could be more competitive though. Paid the same price for a whole day rental at another place, that we paid for 2 hours here. Overall a great stay for our 4 night vacation. We will be back. Great, family run place!

The room was spacious and they had thought of everything. Ample storage space, extremely clean, recycling and trash both offered, fridge, freezer, microwave, board games- basically allAmenities to make the stay very comfortable! Located perfectly to access boat tours, kayaks, lake beach and trail directly across on foot. Icecream shop right next door was great too. My kids loved the gift shop on property too! Totally will return for a repeat stay in winter!

A perfect location. A very spacious room. Sparklingly clean, inviting and comfortable. All the amenities. Reasonable rates. I would turn around and stay here again without hesitation.

Stayed here for a March weekend getaway and had a great time! We stayed in the first corner room, directly across from Lake Wallenpaupak. We were provided a keypad code to access our room when we arrived and use throughout our stay. The room and the bathroom are clean and large! Behind the lodge, within a minute walking distance is a pizza shop, which is nice when you are hungry and not in the mood to drive around looking for food after arrival. Despite the COVID situation and the time of year, restaurants were heavily booked, I highly suggest reservations. We tried, but were told because it was only the two of us, wed be fine-we arrive to learn of a 90 minute wait! We ended up eating Wendys, because every other restaurant in the area we called afterwards had waits. 4 stars because our bed was against the same wall that the tv is on for the people in the next room over. They kept the tv on all night, not a good nights sleep. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if Id come up that way in the future.

I stayed here for some business I had in the area and was very pleasantly surprised. I usually stay at chain hotels so I wasnt sure what to expect at an independent motel like this but the accommodations were very spacious and well done, its really nice to just pull up in front of your door. I will definitely stay there again if Im in the area, and it was also a very reasonably priced.

Everything about this trip was on point. The central location, the room and amenities provided, keyless entry and the snug quiet at the end of each day. Because of Covid19 there was no daily cleaning service, however the trash and recyclables were removed promptly from the front step each morning. We would definitely choose this location in the future.

We booked this location because of the reviews and we wholeheartedly agree that this is a great place. Clean, spacious, thoughtful extras like games. Great location and view! We had to cancel a trip to CA and decided to stay in PA and this was the perfect last minute decision to visit Lake Wallenpaupack.

The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. The room has a small fridge and a microwave. It would be nice if they also provided a coffeemaker and hot drinks in the room, especially in winter, when its freezing outside, and people ski all day. Also, the breakfast would be better if healthy choices were added, such as skim milk, whole grain bagels/muffins, and some kind of fruit.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating to make sure the stay was as nice as possible. The room was large and clean including the restroom and shower. TV, microwave, and refrigerator in room. Fantastic service and very clean. Would stay again.

We were looking for a fall foliage getaway and in our search came across this charming motel. It has the classic motel look and feel, and I mean this in the best way. No glitzy plastic or chain hotel mediocrity. This motel is the real deal, not a corporate attempt to mimic the nostalgic feel of a vacation on the lake. The staff are sincerely friendly and helpful. I met the son of the founding owner at work during the complementary continental breakfast. The rooms are much larger than expected and furnished with a lake side cabin ambiance. The location was ideal for driving through winding roads and enjoying the autumn experience. We had a wonderful trip.

Excellent! By far one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. The room was huge and spotless. It was very comfortable in the inseide, as well as, on the little porch outside. I really cant say enough. There was absolutely no musty smell that usually happens at the Lake, they had magazines in the room (from this month not 10 years ago!), a blow dryer that worked perfectly, an iron and ironing board, a huge closet, and even board games to play in the closet as well. The staff was friendly and I cannot wait to go back. Perfect hotel and a perfect location.

This place was excellent.I was in town for a wedding that recommended this place, and I was not disappointed. The rooms are huge, friendly, and well decorated. Mini fridge was convenient for the leftovers we had from restaurants nearby. The staff was cheerful, friendly and very helpful. Gift shop was adorable and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked. Location was nice, nearby restaurants, a few shops, and across from the lake with a nice hiking trail. Easy drive to more destinations. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to others.
