Eat'n Park in Allegheny County
Privilege
I saw these all over Pittsburgh but after trying it I cant figure out why.
Every time we order take out from this Eat n Park, they screw our order up. There is always food missing and there is one lady who is miserable!
MoreA very good breakfast at reasonable prices. Good friendly service.
Great food and Great staff. Alittle unhappy about doing away with wheat bread. The one healthier bread I enjoy.
MoreNot a lot of staff messy tables food is not like how it is supposed to other eat n parks disgusting
MoreFood was great, our waitress was really nice. The place was packed so i can understand how the workers are working extra hard and it may be stressful for them. Our food came out quicker than expectex which was nice. Our only problem was the hostess. The hostess at the door was extremely rude from the get-go. She yelled at us when we told her there was only two of us because i misunderstood her question. Then as we were leaving to pay we went up to the cash register because we thought that was where we were supposed to pay. She literally yelled at us and said "you pay your waitress". I also heard her complaining to other people about her working and how she was happy to be leaving at noon. This woman should not be working with people when she has an attitude like this. Ive worked jobs where i have worked with the general public and i have never treated a customer the way she treated us and everyone that walked through the door. If i come back to this location i hope to not see her again or see her with a changed attitude.
MoreStopped by the drive thru last night to pick up a pie 4 mom. The person was irritated that we didnt call ahead. We were only a minute away when she decided she wanted a pie.The lady went and got the pie ,left it on the counter while she was preparing other orders 4 a few minutes. When she finally decided to give us the order, she said theres people waiting 4 there food thats while u need to call ahead. EXCUSE me if u would given us the pie when u brought it back, we would have been gone!!
MoreI have loved Eat n Park for many years! Enjoy the food, the Servers, and always meet wonderful people there! It is the place that makes people Smile! I am 83 and feel young after a meal there!
MoreWe went to Eat N Park (South Hills Village locationtoday with a group of friends for a casual meal. Shaun was our server. All I can say is this guy could and should work in a five star restaurant. Best service I’ve had in a very long time. Eat N Park needs to promote this man.
MoreMe and my girlfriend love Eatn Park. We have been to many locations and have loved every moment as the waitresses are nice and make sure we are doing good throughout our visits and usually ask us for refills if they see our glasses empty. The food always fills us up as well. Yesterday was my only day off of the week, so I thought Id treat my girlfriend and I to lunch at this location. Everything was fine until we ordered our food. Im not sure if I said anything rude to the waitress who took our order as Im honestly a polite person, but she ignored us for the entire meal. We werent asked if were good, we needed refills and she didnt seem to notice. We looked around to see if she was doing the same to others, but every other customer that had her as a waitress was being spoken to and taken care of with refills and other questions. We just felt outright ignored. Every other location also asks if we wanted dessert or anything else, but our waitress handed us our bill rather quickly, so it felt as if we were being rushed to get out. Well be going back to Eatn Park, but definitely not this location.
MoreGlad they had salad bar open, great service.
Very good breakfast that ended up exceeding expectations. Only downer was somewhat dower waiter....months later now( no idea why Google doesnt want me to do a completely separate reviewand a Thursday dinner was exactly what I needed...quality food...SuperBurger for me. Zucchini lasagna for my wife, and chicken bacon ranch wrap for my son. All were delicious...dessert was very good also.
MoreIt was good. We were killing time before my Doctors appointment. I had a double burger that was very good. My husband had a breakfast Bagel with egg and sausage. He said it was ok.
MoreGood for a family dinner with kids. Salad bar is minimal. Service is ok. Food took too long.
MoreWe had Emily as our server today. She was getting crushed with large parties but still made sure to check in with us for ensure we were ok
MoreUse to love breakfast here especially the pancakes (this is what I love to get but the pancakes are soooo thin, its like eating a paper thin crepe. I wonder what happened?
MoreWorst experience Ive had here. Was an expiration date sticker in my food. Service was slow, but Im guessing they didnt have alot of people on hand, So I dont blame the staff. Feel like they should have done a bit more about foreign objects in my food. But they at least didnt make me pay for the food I sent back. But it was bare minimum effort.
MoreDo you want an inexpensive local meal that is well seasoned? Well Eatn Park is the perfect place for that. The food is really good for what it is. I dont think you would expect the best meal of your life here. Alternatively, its much cheaper than comparable diners in the area. Plus they give you free cookies.
MoreA very well appointed salad bar & expertly maintained. A very busy place. The wait for a table was about 40 minutes.
MoreFood and Service outstanding as always. Eatn Park is always on the top of the list for Pittsburghers to visit for good food. Our server, Melissa provided prompt and courteous service and added a congenial atmosphere to the birthday dinner. I expect to return soon.
MoreShowed up at 10:45 and there were still workers there to get a pie. Doors were unlocked… 15 minutes before closing time and they told me they were closed. Wasn’t there to sit down. Was simply there to grab a already made pie. Guess worker was more worried about smoking a cig than ringing me up.
MoreAs a first-time solo Eatn Park patron, I wasnt sure if my experience would be different than with others, but it is not. Kudos to the cooks, as always, and my waiter is very friendly and respectful; shout out to Brandon. I also observe the other waiters/waitresses also being quite friendly. One suggestion: dishwashers might need a bit of attentiveness. This is not a complaint, just a thought; others may complain about water spots. Given the chance, I would dine solo again. 01/27/22
MoreThe service is never great but its never horrible. They tend to not watch for needed refills. I also found a hair in my food in 2 of my 4 trips here. Never fun finding a strangers random hair in your food.
MoreShaun could not have been more helpful and pleasant! We were doing that dreadful last minute Christmas shopping. We are from Ohio, and for a fantastic change of pace he couldn’t been more courteous waiter, we were pleasantly surprised. This man needs noticed, people don’t run into pleasant people these days,Thank you ShaunCarrie and Tim WatsonDecember 23,2021 4:17
MoreHad to wait a little while to get seated due to the ongoing issues of not enough people wanting to work like almost all other places. But the food was good.
MoreThese restaurants are everywhere in Pittsburgh so we tried it. In my opinion not worth the money. The service is mediocre and the place isnt very clean. I had a burger and fries and only ate half because I was hungry but nothing special about it.
MoreFantastic service! I had the western breakfast wrap & had them put my home fries inside it & it was amazing! Maybe the best wrap Ive ever had!
MoreMy wife and I went to Eat N Park for a Super Burger after seeing a commercial on television. Jess E our server rolled her eyes when we both ordered a Super Burger meal that came with milk shakes. She used an excuse that she was tired due to her long shift that day that started at 7:30 am. Our milk shakes came and were good, the Super Burger meal was served on stale bread. The bun was falling apart when we picked our sandwich up. We have had other bad experiences at other Eat N Park locations. This restaurant chain is in trouble if they dont turn things around.
MoreToday, we had Jennifer as a waitress and she was pretty good. She was attentive to our needs. Makes a nice appearance. This Eatn Park is very spacious and has a lot of seats to choose from. The best part of Eatn Park today was the smile of our hostess, Tori, who was exceptionally friendly. It makes all the difference in the world starting your day with a bright smile.
MoreBreakfast with the family. What a nice place. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was fun.
MoreAverage food if that. Dont the egg wrap. It can with hardly any eggs and uncooked onion and peppers. I would never eat here again. Cookies for the kids are also a negative. No taste but sugary frosting. Server was very nice and very attentive!
MoreTypical ENP food. Good, but not great. Seated promptly, restaurant was not busy. Order was taken and food brought promptly. However, server did not return until I was almost finished eating. Hard to understand, considering that they appeared adequately staffed, and, they were not that busy.
MoreThe food tasted good but my particular food was cold everything was cold. My sister and I shared two meals I ate a half of a breakfast roll up and half of the Eggs Benedict and it was tasty but cold!!
MoreWaited to be told we wouldnt be served. South hills Village location. Never had a problem at the South Park Rd restaurant! I will certainly head there first in the future!!Visited again today and was very pleased with Shyan and her excellent service! My fish sandwich was prepared excellent which made this a very good experience, thank you!
MoreEating Park next to South Hills Village Mall reall let me down this time. Salad bar is still not open (as of 7-21-21). It took over 10 minutes after we were seated to be acknowledged and then our orders taken. Food was average, at best. The server we had was super nice and kind. She seemed very overwhelmed. I hope they get more help soon.
MoreHad the cookie milk. Way high in fat and sugar. Advertising led us to think we were getting a cookie and milk. Instead we got milk that was supposed to fast like an eatn Park cookie. Totally not worth the price. Definitely not suitable for kids.
MoreDecent food and a nice atmosphere but unfortunately without a salad bar theres little reason to come. The dessert sizes have really gone downhill as well. Menu items claim to have two scoops of vanilla ice cream and received one scoop the size of a golf ball on most items.
MoreOrdered grilled chicken for takeout…enough said
My has the mighty fallen. The once great location in Bridgeville has had over five trips where they have either turned away my order or dont make it properly. I cant wait to this place closes and something else that can provide a good meal replaces the worst place Ive been to in 2020 as well as 2021.
MoreI always get the burgers 🍔 always great to eat. We waited for 10 mins, took 15 mins or so to order and probably 30 mins or so to eat. Overall, we were there for an hour and eatting there was worth the wait. My girlfriend always eats the impossible burgers, which are a more pricey. But at the end she said therere worth it.always have great service 👍
MoreGood old fashioned diner setting! Ive eaten at a few different locations, but this location is my favorite. The entire wait staff is great, but ask for Angela if you can. Shes wonderful! Thank you for a classic burger, fries, and milkshake.
MoreI love their smiley face cookies. I wish they had outlets at the tables so you could charge your device. I ordered their burger. It was reasonably priced, but you could tell it was processed meat.
MoreMade a trip to the hometown first time in 6 yrs. We stayed in the South Hills. There were only 2 places I wanted to eat. Eatn Park was one of them. Got there no wait to sit. Our waitress was very pleasant and on the ball. My favorite meal is the shredded pot roast. Just as good as I remembered. Keep up the good work.
MoreSome staff is very good. Food is consistent. They are consistently off with seating time estimates. Like, it will always be a 5 minute wait, but always actually takes 20-25 minutes during busy times. Not an unreasonable time to wait, just annoying when youre expecting 5 minutes.
MoreEat-N-Park was always a "go-to". This time just happen to be a different location. I ordered Nantucket Cod - always excellent (but even though the skillet was sizzling, the food was oddly cold, and same with the baked potato - the butter wouldnt even melt). It was good just the same. My 10yr old granddaughter however, ordered the shredded pork roast sandwich (absolutely uneatable). Smothered in an over-abundant scoop of gravy, the meat was so salty and taste like it came from a can. Could not get further than 3 forks to taste. Even though the server and manager asked for something else to substitute the dinner, she chose not to even eat. Very disappointing.
MoreTook 5 minutes for someone to come out to get our name for the wait when there really wasn’t that many people here to begin with. Then took another 10 minutes for our waitress to even get our drink order and order. She walked past multiple times as well and didn’t even think to say, “I’ll be with you in one minute.” I’ve been a server before and no matter how busy I was, I would always make sure to let my customers know I would be right with them. Almost spilled the soup on me and I get that you might have some tables but please don’t assume I’m going to need a refill on my drink and bring me two drinks because then, it’s just a waste. I usually love coming to this location but this has been the worst experience I’ve had so far her. Don’t worry I can’t tell you her name because she never even stated it to us.
MoreBreakfast buffet was varied an well stocked which kept the grandsons happy. Seated quickly but had to wait for the check and were charged for the four year olds breakfast buffet which should have been free per the waitress when taking our orders. Had a coupon for the other boy and although not a big deal just not correct. Stuff happens but all in all experience was on the very good side.
MoreThe menu is wide ranging and is perfect for a family to dine in. The costs are just perfect and the quality of the dishes are spectacular. The waitresses and waiters had great service and often asks if everything is okay. Not to mention the cringe worthy but amazing birthday song the staff has.
MoreMy complaint is the same as many of these other reviews: the staff. When we walked in at 10:00 on a Monday night, there were no employees in sight. After about 5 minutes someone came out of the kitchen and realized we were there. Before the kitchen door shut we could see 3 other waitresses back there leaning on the counters chatting away. Fortunately, our waitress ended up being nice and attentive. When we got up to leave we faced the same problem: no-one in sight. A waitress finally came out of the kitchen (once again, multiple employees standing around talkingand got us checked out. We didnt order any food, just coffee, so I cant testify to the quality of the food. We are going back tonight because it is a convenient location, so hopefully our experience is better.*UPDATE: We went back last night and it was a completely different experience. We were seated as soon we walked through the door. Our waiter, Brian, was polite, attentive, and overall just very nice to deal with all night. The food was hot and very good. I am much happier with this second visit!
MoreThis is the worst Eat n Park I ever been too! Are server was nowhere to be found. We got no refills the whole time at least 55 mins are server name was Sarah she looked liked she had not slept in 4 days and her hair was dyed at least 19 different colors and had the worst tattoos I ever seen! I seen bikers in the hells angels have better prison tattoos then Sarah.. She had to be the worst sever me and my family and I ever experienced! Ok the food OMG is was colder then the other side of the pillow it came out at ALL different times too like there was no structure in the back of the house. I tried to find a manager that was like trying to find some of Pablo Escobar’s old buried money! When I finally got a hold of him he acknowledged they were busy and he offered free dessert by that time it was to late we just wanted to leave I will never return again!
