Econo Lodge in Tift County

After a long drive and being caught in a storm we decided to stop for the night. I had never stood at an econo lodge before and I was extremely shocked. Room was super clean. Bathroom was updated. Front desk clerk was super friendly.

Room walls are dirty bathroom door someone drawled on it with crayon. Room door nasty dirty room phone dirty. Bed skirts are old and stained. Bring you a can if Lysol to spray everything down.

Extremely clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices too. Definitely recommend this place!

I only gave 1 star because I had to to write this review. We arrived late after a long drive. We could not find another hotel because they were all booked up.. We get into the room first glance it looked okay just for a sleep and shower and leave. Towel on bath tub had a smashed still alive roach. Dirty sheets...they seriously had dirt that you could swoop off the sheets. Absolutely disgusting do not stay here.

First time staying at this Econo Lodge. Rooms have been recently remodeled are very nice. Next time I come through this area I will be staying here again.

A standard budget hotel. They have all the basic amenities and the room is spacious and the bed comfy. They do have a fair amount of outlets so you should be fine with all our charging needs. As elsewhere there is no breakfast at this time. They do have a pool but its not in use for the same reasons. The hotel is central to downtown Tifton with many choices for food and entertainment. I would like to share a very pleasant moment when checking in. Sweta, the young and very resourceful clerk, helped me get in a room after a very long day. My company uses CLC lodging to book hotels for us. Recently they made all of us cut up our cards as a few were abusing it (yes, punish the best with the offenders). Because of this my reservation wouldnt work for their system and she couldnt give me a room so Im on the road without a place to sleep. Between calls to the related parties we got it right. Sweta was still having problems checking me in so she made calls to her bosses and got it worked out. During all this she was positive, used humor to calm me and gave me her wonderful smile to keep my hopes up. Econo Lodge o Tipton youre very fortunate to have someone as talented as she is. Thank you Sweta.

Its really clean and neat.very nice rooms and the people r very polite.plus its right in the middle of shopping centers and food restaurants and gas stations.

Room appeared to be clean. In good order. But the bed was very hard. And my wife always wipes everything down with disinfectant wipes before we stay. Took about 10 white to get everything clean the counters the headboard. Whites were all brown and black very nasty. The staff should be wiping the stuff down with the Covid going around.

Newly remodeled. Clean spacious rooms. Walking distance to LOTS of restaurants. Whatever your hungry for its close by! Then even better is the mall right behind the hotel! Mexican restaurant on premises makes a mean Margarita! Recommend. Econolodge highly. That speaks volumes coming from me!

No pool no breakfast due to coronavirus. Nice clean room and grounds nice staff two hotels across street are dumps, smelled some pot out side pet friendly rooms

We have stayed in many motels that were renovated and this is the best ever. They have done it like it should be done. Like a brand new room. Everything 1st class even the coffee pot 5 stars for sure.

Property was very clean! Rooms were beautiful and newly renovated. Every econo lodge should upgrade to the rooms they have here. Amazing and friendly staff was a bonus! Would recommend to anyone!

The rooms have been remodeled and are beautiful! All new bathrooms too. Weve stayed here before and the new changes are remarkable.

If I could I would give it no stars. Dead flies were all over my room floor. They moved me to another room where there were even more dead flies even on the bed. I asked for a refund so that I could go to another hotel and the receptionist told me that she was not authorized to do refunds and that I would have to wait until the next morning when the manager came in. The next morning I went back to the hotel with video I had taken and he admitted that they did have a fly problem but no one else had complained and told me that he could give me $25 back after paying $81 for the room I didn’t get to sleep in. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for travelers.

SPOTLESS. One of the cleanest hotels weve ever stayed at. Rooms were spotless, the entire property was immaculate. Very friendly staff. Right off the interstate perfect spot to sleep a night and continue on to Florida. Not what youd expect from a 1 star hotel. Highly recommend.

BED BUGSRoom 109 has bed bugs! I had 6 bites in the morning from staying there. The front desk staff were really friendly and apologetic but the manager was very rude and tried to gaslight us calling us liars. It’s not worth saving $20

Not a bad place. Room was ok. Bathroom stinks, and we killed one adult roach off the wall and one fly. I prayed to not find any more bugs, were only starting the night... Well see what happens. I hate coming to the south because I always find roaches 😔 I hate those bugs. UPDATE: We had a good night sleep. I woke up twice last night, found no other roaches thank God. Down side though: no fruits for breakfast, no wafflemaker, no variety of milk. Other than that, breakfast is OK. BUT paid $70 for 1 night for 2 beds. I was expecting a wafflemaker at least.

We evacuated from Florida for a hurricane with our 2 dogs. I chose this Ecno-Lodge because of the reviews. I was very pleased with our stay. Our room was updated and very clean. Staff was wonderful. Great bargain too! Plenty of restaurants close by and the mall and movie theatre is right behind the motel but is still quiet. Definitely would stay again.

The rooms were presented nice but later on in the night we were killing roaches off the wall and ceiling. Im giving it 2 stars simply because the front desk didnt give me any problem when I asked to switch my room.

Very clean, updated rooms. Didnt allow use of coupon at check-in, even though it was a pay when you arrive reservation, because we booked on line. Rate was still pretty good but coupon wouldve saved us $16, so not insignificant. Breakfast is definitely "continental" - no hot food - but fine if youre good with toast, cereal, bagels, juice, milk, coffee. Didnt get to use the pool due to lightening but it was warm and looked clean. Overall, worth the money since we were looking for a clean, inexpensive place to lay our heads for the night.

Sign says "new rooms" and it doesnt lie. Room is tastefully appointed and comfortable and you can tell all new with the flooring, paint, furniture, bathroom, etc. Great value and quiet, too. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because the bed was way too firm for me.

Was nice and clean. Pillows flat but again was clean. Thats what I look for. Be nice to have big fluffy pillows and beds that arent like boxes with some cushion on them, but hey if its clean and no bed bugs then YAH thats where Im staying. Nice play, nice people or family that works their. Big enough lot that you can walk around it a couple of times after dinner and enjoy the walk.Put it iny your list as a place you can stay at thats not going to kill your wallet.

My wife and I needed to take a trip to Tifton, GA, and needed a cheap and clean place to stay. We chose Econo Lodge because of the price and the Google star rating, which I can say is accurate. Online reservations were easy to make and thankfully did not require creating a logon for loyalty rewards, which has become so pervasive as to be a pet peeve of mine now. They have smoking rooms available, which is nice since I wanted to be able to vape indoors. The front desk was friendly and had the room of the type we requested available. The room is clean and comfortable, with good working A/C, a necessity in Georgia. My only gripe, hence the one star off, is the amount of burn damage in the sheets and the curtains. I understand the furniture and such can only be replaced when corporate says so, and oddly there arent any burns on the furniture itself I could see, but one would think that the blankets could be replaced when burned through by a careless patron. As I said, the room itself was clean and actually smelled neutral, so its a small gripe, but just dont be surprised to find burn marks in the cloth. The pool is clean and well-maintained, as is the rest of the property. If you need a rest or are the kind of vacationer that only needs a reasonably-priced bed for the night, then this hotel will serve you very well.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. But the beds were small (had room w 2 beds), and the tv remote was awful - had to be very close to the tv to work. Even got a replacement but it was the same. Breakfast was minimal.

We were annoyed because there were quite a few things that went wrong. The tv remote control didnt work as well as it should have and the toilet didnt work for a little while. My husband also didnt like how small the bed was. It was ok for me. Not the greatest motel experience for us.

Clean rooms, plenty of space. Nice staff. Breakfast was a little small, but good. The pool was not cleaned & looked like it wasnt being maintained. But other than that we loved it. Its right off the interstate & has shopping stores, restaurants, & other stuff in walking distance.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Great location, situated around shopping and yummy food options. Large parking available for truckers. Newly updated and gorgeous rooms. Pet friendly with cheaper fees than most. Super nice staff members and the property is exceptionally groomed and clean inside and out. We will be using this location as needed in the future. The room was very clean and newly remodeled. Carbs were the only thing available for breakfast, so we didnt eat anything. Great convenient on-off for HWY 75. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

The help there was good. But the room had roaches, and came equipped with their own unique funny smells.The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of one, is because after I killed the five roaches dwelling behind my refrigerator and the one on my bed, I was transferred rooms and spoken with about price negotiations.Worth mentioning is The resturaunt next door has a 10%discount for anyone staying at the lodgeNot great all in all, but what are you doing in tifton anyways?

It really is brand new in all ways. Prices are great. Beds are comfy and the place is really clean. The best you can get for the price. And they serve simple breakfast from 6 to 9.30. Cant go wrong with this place. Will come again!!

We paid $85 a night for 2 nights. Which was the cheapest decent reviewed hotel in Tifton. The only complaints I have are my hairdryer didnt work, the mattresses were horrible my back has killed me both days because of it and the breakfast is bare minimum.

We had to evacuate PI SC due to Florence. Hotel was as advertised. Rooms recently remodeled, clean, staff very helpful. Were there for five days before heading home. They take pets. If theres anything to complain about is the continental breakfast. A bigger variety would be nice. Theres a McDonalds just a down the street less than a 1/4 mile.

Very good experience here! Friendly staff, high ratings that are true, and the best price in Tifton for the high ratings. The room was clean and modern. The TV channels are sparse at best. The pool was clean and the place was quiet.

We stopped here early Saturday morning around one oclock on our way to Fort Myers. 1st of all the front desk lady and I forgot her name was very professional and very nice. 2nd of all the room did exceed my expectations from a comfort standpoint as well as an appearance standpoint. I have had bad experiences at other econo lodge hotels, but this one was by far the best. I do recommend for a quick stay or even a long stay.

Came in at 1230 am and was greeted with a kind clerk at the desk. This check in was the fastest we had ever experienced. We were given a double bed room non smoking. The room did not smell like smoke! I can not tell you how many non smoking rooms we have gotten at other hotel chains that reeked on smoke. The room was on the 2nd floor. The exterior of the hotel had been freshly painted. Our room was also recently refirbished. Fresh paint in a nice soft yellow with one burnt orange accent wall. New carpet and bedding. Bath had new tile and the shower had plenty of water pressure and was clean and also recently refirbished. Very pleasant room. I heard no noise from the parking lot, road or other rooms. The rate room rate with tax was $77.00. We travel with our dog so getting a hotel room in this condition was not only a surprise but an exceptional price. We would stay here again. The owner of this hotel does a wonderful job maintaining his hotel. Thanks!

All my husband and i can say is WOW! This motel is great. We checked in with Mike and he was very friendly. It took no time at all. Went to our room and it was great. The room has laminate floors, new mattress, freshly painted, and new furniture. We could have stayed in a more costly room somewhere else but this room was lower in price and equal in appearance. This is the half way point to get our great grandchild and we will be back. We will recommend this motel to family, friends or anyone who will listen. Thanks Mike for offering such a nice place at an affordable price. By the way, his rating is 100. Did not see one bug. Can not say enough good about it.

I havent stayed in and Econo Lodge in a long time. The sign out front stating they had brand new rooms was a huge plus. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the pillow was awesome! We basically pulled in went to bed and woke up LOL I had a nice bagel with cream cheese for breakfast in the nice lady gave me a bottle of water from a small refrigerator she had by the front desk. I would stay there again!

This is a great place. Room was clean, comfortable and affordable. The man who checked us in was pleasant and the check out person was also very friendly.You cant go wrong staying here

This was a surprising treat. I did not have high expectations, but this is a very nice place.You can tell the management is on the ball at this location. The rooms were spotless and recently updated. The common areas were very clean and the grounds well kept.Please note they have dog friendly rooms with a nice wood finished appearance. Easy clean ups asks no lingering odors in the carpet.Keep up the Good Work guys 💪🏻👍🏻

I have no clue where all these people that gave them even a 2 star much less a 4 star review have ever stayed. But this place a dump beds are very very small and it very loud place. No sleep thinks to small hard stinking beds and dog barking next door. No more Ecolodge for me.

TRY IT - you too will be surprised... Price was in range of near 4 properties - choose this one - good reviews - GLAD I DID.Staff - both counter and mgr were GREAT.Room - clean - simple - functional. No issues or problems - everything worked. WILL stay here again.Checked in after midnight - and unlike most - I found both the mgr and the desk clerk OVERLY PLEASANT... Usually road-rashed and weary - I NEVER find kind and courteous - but rude and disrespectful - so this was a PLEASANT SURPRISE - as they genuinely seemed to care - rare but none the less welcomed..

Great place. Clean, non- smoking room was actually smoke free. Staff very friendly and efficient. Fruit with breakfast would be nice. Definitely will stay again.

My dog and I got a good nights sleep. The room was clean and updated. Bathroom also. We spotted this after driving a long time and needing a rest. We both are accustomed to 4 and 5 star hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. Being pet friendly is ALWAYS A PLUS! Only a 10$ charge!

For being a lower end motel, it was a pleasant experience. I had been traveling many hours and every place I found or called was booked. I generally stay in higher end places, and when this place had a room available I took it. It was half the price I am use to paying for a hotel, and though it was nice fancy, the room was clean. Beds, were clean and well made. The bathroom had been more recently updated. It had a newer TV wall mounted and a fridge and microwave in the room. The lady at check in was most friendly and welcoming. She made sure to tell me to contact her if I had any problems at all. I didnt have any problems and it was a good nights sleep. I slept better here than in a room that cost 5 times as much last week. I didnt check out the breakfast the next morning , but they did have one. Oh also the wifi worked well. Comfortable Clean room and good wifi was all I needed for my short stay and this place was above my expectations and a good value for the money.

Went to make coffee and the water would not go through. Poured the water out of the reservoir and it was full of mold. Discussing and when there was a dead bug on the chair by the table it made my stay very unpleasant. The TV remote did not work and found out the batteries were put in wrong. Informed them at check out and nothing was done. I should have gotten a reduced rate. There was no coffee in the office either, well decaf and who wants decaf in the morning! the only reason I did not give it a one is the bathroom was clean.

Ive stayed there several times and always had a good experience. The staff is always super nice. The rooms have always been clean. Everything works as it should. They have a large gravel lot out back for semis which is why I stay there when Im in Tifton. Plus there are a few places to eat withing a short walk.

As a frantic Hurricane evacuee, the staff was welcoming and took excellent care of us during our stay. Nice little mall nearby with a Publix grocery, Waffle house and other reasonably priced eateries. If I ever have to do it again ( hopefully NEVER!), Id head back here. Rooms were clean, grounds decently maintained, and we were always greeted with a smile and a hello.

The initial impression is average but when I got into the room there were stains on the sheets, on the headboard, a paper towel with something gooey stuck above the door and a dead roach in a spider web above the door too. I went back to the front desk and had them look at the room, they said it wasnt like them and they would change rooms for me. I asked to check the room first and when I went in it looked better...until I got to the bathroom where I saw a live crawling cockroach on the wall. Needless to say I got a refund and left. Wont be staying there again!

Very friendly courteous staff. From my initial interaction on the phone with Mrs. Jane, to Mrs. Deidra (sorry ladies if I spelled the names wrong), to all the cleaning staff they were all most friendly and accommodating! Indeed the bathroom could use some refreshing or updating but they are thoroughly cleaned! Beds are super comfortable and there is a fridge (miniand microwave in all the rooms and they also have a pool. Convenient eatery places and shopping in walking distance. There is a mall and publix grocery shopping directly behind the hotel. Great location, great staff, great price and they honor military and senior citizen, some organization and club member discounts too. Give Em a ring and they will answer with a smile 😄 Pleasant stay and day(severyone. Safe travels 👍

Very clean hotel. The only critique was that "breakfast" consisted of cold cereal, white bread, pre-packaged honey buns, milk, juice, and not so great coffee. I would have enjoyed some hot food or something that wasnt full of sugar.Otherwise, fantastic stay.
