Highly recommended. Excellent food, amazing cheese board and a very nice outdoor table for our big night out. Special thanks to Dustin for making my kids first fine dining experience special.
My wife and I just love this place! Everything has always been fantastic from the drinks and appetizers, to the main courses. Off the main strip, which is a good thing to avoid the boardwalk crowd.
Had a wonderful night at Eden. Kevin was a very attentive server and provided an excellent dining experience. We loved everything from the seafood tower to the flat bread. The wine list was great! We will make this our new go-to restaurant when in Rehoboth.
Not so special occasion. Party of seven upstairs for special occasion Friday night 8/26/22. Our server forgot a first course item, so we reminded him, then we didn’t get 2 other appetizers, so we reminded him, and then he forgot a drink reorder and a coffee drink. His responses were not rude but were unprofessional. And yes, decor upstairs was disappointing for the price point. My antelope lacked flavor and was tough. There was no compensation.
Interesting fare. Great restaurant for a date. Portions smaller than you would expect, but tasted good.
Everything was just “okay.” I think the restaurant is overpriced based on the quality of their food and the overall dining experience. I paid $40 for a ribeye that was thin cut, grainy, overcooked and ultimately unimpressive based on the price paid. The chicken breast entree was dry and had a stale taste. Despite making a reservation for three adults and two kids, we were placed on the second floor where a dinner reception was taking place for a very large party. Hauling strollers, car seats (and the youngsters, of courseup a long narrow stairway wasn’t the best start to our dining experience, though I promised to keep an open mind throughout the course of the night. In my opinion, there are far better options nearby.
Eden is my new favorite restaurant in Rehoboth. It is new/bold American food in a calm setting, lit with fairy lights. Great for romantic dinners. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Their wine list is extensive. Their cocktail list is great. I particularly enjoyed the Last Call Martini at the end of the meal. My partner likes Negronis and he enjoyed their Negroni. We also had Cava with the meal. They have seasonal farm fresh food. We had the watermelon gazpacho, crab and lobster tower, and ceviche. The main course was delicious. I had ahi tuna which was the perfect/ideal form ahi tuna. My partner had the filet mignon - also perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. We went several times in our 2 week trip to Rehoboth this year (2022). They have a nice list of bourbon/rye and single malts. Their food menu changes based on seasonal ingredients. Kudos to the whole team at Eden for creating an amazing dining experience with outstanding food and drinks.
easy reservation process through website. Food and drinks were excellent. Service fantastic. Very personal atmosphere.
Non Romantic but very tastefully done. The food was superb. A bit pricey but worthwhile nonetheless.
Dear Mr. Capriotti! It is with great pleasure that I write this Commendation letter on behalf of JAM Bistro, Inc. and your Cook, Mr. Dre Boone! On Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 6:15 p.m., my Harvard University colleagues visited your Restaurant, JAM Bistro, Inc. in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They all desired to sample your pork chops. Hence, the group ordered the reasonable priced Slow Roasted Pork Chop, Buttered Squash and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. To add, they purchased Rhone wine and the JAM Collins drinks. Admittedly, the dinner and beverages were superb! More importantly, JAM Bistro provided amazing customer service and a clean, structured, and pleasant atmosphere! What stands out is the professional and personable attitude of Dre Boone. He may not recall, but the group requested to have a brief word with Dre to let him know how satisfied they were with the meal he prepared. The portions and presentation were equally awe-striking! They discerned by Dres demeanor that he is a modest, contentious, and detailed-oriented Cook. These are leadership qualities and attributes all restaurants should strive to employ at their establishments! As a result of the remarkable service the host, wait staff, and Mr. Boone provided, the group plans to revisit Eden/JAM Bistro, Inc. the Summer of 2022! This time, the group will bring additional colleagues who specialize in hospitality management. I feel it is worthwhile for these individuals to experience the unique service, as well as the first-rate food preparation Dre provides. Until then, I wish Eden/JAM Bistro, Inc. a prosperous Summer season! Considering that Mr. Boone personally prepares our meals, we shall see you then!Warmest Regards,-Dr. Darrell M. If you can look past the stale decor (especially on the top floor), Eden is a great destination a superb beach-side dinner. There are two levels. On my particular visit, we ate on the 2nd floor. Strange, white curtains and tablecloths. Super white and super bland. It wasnt modern, it wasnt sleek.Luckily, the food and service made up for the ambiance.Super accommodating & friendly server + support staff. Great team effort.Great offerings for seafood & land lubbers alike. I wanted some fresh seafood, so I went with the scallops. So succulent.Wonderful dining experience overall. Just ignore the curtains.
Many Americanized Japanese food items, but don’t be discouraged, it’s done extremely well and there are authentic options. Nice service and fun, quirky and spacious setting
Cafeteria meets “fancy” American. The cocktails were tasty and interesting, and the seasonal apps were good. The entrees were very hit-and-miss. I’d expect a $37 filet mignon to have some flavor, but at least it was tender (if overcooked), but the potatoes were not quite as good as my high school cafeteria potatoes, so there’s room for improvement. The ribeye was mostly gristle, but the mac and the chicken were good. Overall, the table of 8 just felt “eh” about the experience.
We went there last night for the wine dinner with Frog Leap. The food was absolutely great. Every course was fantastic. The seafood pot pie and the beef were some of the best I have had.
On our "Date Night" I took my wife to this restaurant which was rated as one of the top romantic in Rehoboth Beach. It was certainly that. As you enter, you notice that the lights are lowered. We requested a booth when we made the reservation and was taken one which has sheer curtains if you want more privacy. We notice that the acoustics was excellent, being quieter than most restaurants at the beach with a great soundtrack playing in the background. Our waiter, Kevin, was excellent and very attentive. The Chef, Nelson Chase, came over to our table and introduced himself. He was trained at the C.I.A. (Culinary Institute of America). On Wednesday nights they have a Piced Fixed menue for $40 with 50 % off of wines. The food was to die for . This is now our favorite at the beach.
Great environment designed to convey class and romance. Happy workers happy costumers, I ordered a bottle of wine and a ribeye to nibble on, and I was utterly satisfied .I will come back for more experiences.
Absolutely wonderful! The service was top notch and the food delicious. Although a bit pricey, the meal was well worth it and the atmosphere wonderful. The restaurant is across from Clear Space Theater so well worth parking, seeing a show and dinner!!!
The evening started great and we were very excited for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice but we had a few issues that could have been addressed properly to move the needle (and stars). My fiance wanted to sample two wines like weve always done at any other restaurant. He was told he could only taste one because the other was too expensive to allow tastings. He decided to order it anyways and was not happy with the choice and told the server. It was a $26 glass of wine and the servers solution was to comp his $9 dessert. Also he ordered his steak medium rare and it came out closer to medium. He showed the server who agreed and didnt do anything or ask if he would like anything different. My dish was ok but could have been a lot more flavorful. I had much higher expectations for the quality of food and service. If it has only been one issue or if the server had done more to help I would definitely have given them four stars.
Very disappointed tonite at Jam a favorite for happy hour and apps during the season. While the drinks and appetizers were good, the dinner quickly went downhill. The beef dish was cold and had to be sent back, Brussel Sprouts had no flavor. Seafood Fra Diablo didnt have much to offer except some shrimp and mussels that were dry and tiny sea scallops. The sauce was dry and was over cooked. We won’t be going back. Too bad. The vibe was great during the season. Tonite it was freezing cold and not much in the way of hospitality. People were eating with their coats on.
One of the top restaurants in Rehoboth. The food was five star quality. The cocktails were top notch, and the wine list was amazing. Our waiters knowledge of the food and wine made it easier to select a dinner and wine....We will back again and again.
Definitely one of Rehoboths best restaurants. A wonderful halibut ceviche started things off nicely perfectly balanced in flavors. The entrees features were fantastic with the antelope loin and rockfish perfectly executed and generously portioned. The sides that accompanied them could have used the same TLC, but overall a delicious dinner.
Brenda and I, on our first stay in Rehobeth Beach, were looking for somewhere nice for dinner with outside seating. We saw that Eden could accommodate us so we made a reservation. We were seated on the patio where our server, Kevin moved a heater closer to us so that it was very comfortable. We shared an awesome crab & lobster appetizer and both ordered Filet. It was cooked to perfection and was delicious.Kevin was very attentive, making sure everything was good. It was a great dining experience.I highly recommend Eden and Kevin.Shout out to the lovely Delaware County couplesitting at the next table. Brenda & John, thanks for the nice conversation.
This is the premier restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. We have dined here every year of the past several years that we have vacationed in Rehoboth Beach. Excellent ambiance. Superior service. Delicious food. Delightful cocktails. Highly recommended.
We were so excited to eat at Eden, but were so disappointed by our main dishes. Despite the promise of “bold” food and tempting descriptions, both the Pan Roasted Chicken Breast Saltimbocca and the Pan Roasted Coho Salmon were bland and unimpressive. Just no notable flavors or sophistication we were hoping for.On the bright side, we did enjoy a selection of three cheeses and charcuterie as an appetizer, but certainly not enough to make up for a sad main course. Service was friendly, but food was slow to come.
Service was good, but the food was lacking for the price. Most of my group agreed that dishes were consistently under-seasoned and that they didn’t live up to their price tags as well as other restaurants in the area. Portion sizing, however, was good. The house cocktails were much better than the mains, having sampled most of the ones on their menu (our party was 11 people).
Food was delicious, drinks excellent, dessert off the charts. Our server Kevin was very attentive & all his recommendations were spot on.This is our new go to place😋
Took my wife here for her Birthday Food was good and nice atmosphere..Nice place to do a date night....
Had high expectations going in based on reviews and menu, but left feeling a little underwhelmed. Beef tenderloin flatbread was of ground beef consistency and taste. Food consistently lack adequate seasoning. The menu was bold but the execution was lacking oomph. Cocktails were great, and service was excellent, just underwhelmed by the food.
Weve been here about 4 times now. Its always a treat! The atmosphere and service are casual, but top notch. The food is always delicious. One of my favorites is the cheese platter. Definitely a refined selection!
Have enjoyed dinner at Eden a few times before and were looking forward to sharing one of the areas excellent restaurants with our out-of-town friends. Atmosphere, cocktails, and service (Ryanwere excellent. Unfortunately, the food was only average. The Grilled Caesar was satisfactory; the flatbread had good flavor but about 25% of the crust was burnt and inedible; our Rockfish specials (large portion with nice presentationwere barely warm; and the Pan Roasted Chicken Breast was good but unremarkable. We like this restaurant and will try it again with the hope that this was an off night; just disappointing with out of town guests visiting Rehoboth for the first time. We skipped dessert and went to Kilwans for ice cream, which saved the night.
Nice, capable staff. The old fashion was just what I had hoped, a true cocktail. Cheese board, empanada arugula salad were all good. The ossobuco was good, left me wondering if I should have gotten something else. I could guess another time it could have been a hit. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The cocktails were definitely the highlight.
We’ve dined at Eden before and had our daughter’s wedding reception there with great success, so when I had made reservations we expected another wonderful experience with friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately this time it was very disappointing. The tone was set up front by the hostess “Mattie” who was visibly irritated when we told her that our party of 6 was now 5 as one friend was ill and would not be attending. For some reason this was a big deal as she was throwing the place settings around to reset the table. We were then ushered to the table in the back of the dining right next to the kitchen doorway and under a speaker. At first it seemed ok, but it was too loud and busy. Fortunately there were plenty of tables available so we asked our server (Grantto move us to the next one to get away from the kitchen doorway. Our server asked the hostess Mattie if we could move, she said no. After a second request she asked for an explanation (well this certainly was a new experience for us, wisely she relented and we were moved. We noticed that no one ever sat at the original table so again I’m not sure what the bid deal was. Anyway, the food was good, but some of the appetizers (the baked clamswere mediocre and tasted like they were leftovers. The service provided by our server (Grant was superb and a gentlemen who was helping up front (perhaps a managerwas very gracious in checking in with us.I hope this was just a bad night. As there are a number of great restaurants here it’s a competitive market. I certainly don’t mind paying and tipping well for great services and food, but the attitude has to go.
Earlier this week, my friend and I stopped into Eden for a late dinner. We hadn’t really done our research; we were just hungry and stopped at the first restaurant we walked past. We were seated outside. Our server Grant was very kind and accommodating; I think we were one of his last tables for the night but he didn’t make us feel rushed. It was a bit confusing when he explained how the food would come out. I requested my salad to come as my appetizer but he said that wasn’t possible…but then he asked my friend if she wanted her food to come out as an appetizer or main. A bit of a contradiction so just be aware that it may be free-flow, it may not be, who knows? But nonetheless, the soup du jour, a melon gazpacho, was fantastic, very refreshing for the summer. All of our other food was pretty good, all could use a bit more seasoning but the flavor was there. Seems like a good date-night place. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-see, but I wouldn’t steer you away either.
Eden has always been our go to spot in Rehoboth when we visit once or twice a year. We have always enjoyed the romantic ambiance and creative preparations. Last nights visit was less impressive. Though we arrived right at opening time and were the second couple in the door, we were ushered up the stairs to the much less romantic second floor. I asked for a table down stairs but was told they were reserved. I have a reservation. Those people made their reservations earlier. But I’m here and they aren’t. You can always go elsewhere. Well after that pleasant exchange our meal might have been ruined were it not for the exceptional service of Tim and the delightful food.Still, I have dined at thousands of restaurants over the years. I’m not sure I’ve been seated based on the age of my reservation. And I don’t recall when I was last schooled on the reservation process. Perhaps time to explore some of Rehoboth’s other dining options. There were still empty tables downstairs when we left.
Food was good. Party of 6 on the outside second floor. Table was perfect. The only thing that keeps this review low was the waiters...rushed us all the way through, even made a point of it 8 or 9 times throughout the meal. Waiter from the get go was trying to force us to order the main course with the appetizers?...we want to turn the table mojo. I get it, space is tight but that amount of money ($650+should have afforded us less of a headache and the forced to leave feel.
Fantastic experience, excellent service, great outside seating options. I will absolutely come back.
We had a lovely meal at Eden while making a quick stop in Rehoboth Beach during our drive home. We enjoyed outdoor seating and the service was attentive and friendly. We each had a salad and an entree. The salad tasted great, but could have used more greens. As an entree, we ordered the Macaroni and Cheese, but without the chicken. It tasted good, but I wish there was a vegetarian substitution for the chicken.
One of the best places for Martinis (incredible Martini menuin Rehoboth beach! Food is top notch as well! Must visit!
My husband and I came on a Wednesday, it was nice because wine is half priced. The service was good, not much interaction with us but still good. For dinner I ordered the day boat scallops which were great and the risotto and brussel sprouts that came with it were flavorful. The portion was small. My hubby got the filet mignon, it was tender but bland and the presentation was sloppy, it also was a very small portion. We had creme brûlée for dessert which was probably the winner for the evening. The place is nice but I would probably only come back for drinks and dessert.
This place has the best cheese plate/charcuterie board ever. Do not skip the Humboldt Fog cheese, it is everything. Seriously, this is a do-not-miss order.Eden is a great spot for celebrating with some intimate, fine dining. Came here for my birthday and it was very special. Its a fresh, tasteful setting, the service is fab, and I just about died over how good my creme brulee was. My antelope steak couldve done with a few flakes of salt, but it was still melt in your mouth tender. Husband loved the Eden mac and cheese, and yeah, it was decadent!Really lovely spot, and wed come back for the cheese board alone!
Just had my Valentine’s Day dinner celebrating my parents 40 year anniversary. We were there for over 2 hours. The Caesar salad was served as cooked Romain whole leaves. Which made the leaf extremely soggy. It was difficult to cut up the salad and an awful first taste. My dinner was scallops. There was no seasoning, they were served cold, the broccoli was tasteless and also cold. All food was WAY too peppery. It’s a lovely environment, however it was not a lovely experience. Staff is very kind, however I will never eat dinner here again. Not worth the wait nor the price they are charging.
Great, semi-casual dining experience. Food was superb, service well paced, very friendly staff, menu limited but that is a good thing, interesting cocktails offered, extensive wine selection. We had a 3 course dinner which took about 105 minutes. Restaurant was full for a Saturday night in January. Tables well spaces given spacing requirements. We ate in the restaurant but they also have a casual bistro next door, called Jam, that looked inviting. A hidden gem in Rehoboth.
So, review time. I have dined in some extremely fancy, formal attire required establishments. To say Im a foodie is putting it mildly. This meal was, hands down, one of the best meals of my entire life. I would put myself on death row just to request this meal again. The meat, bison short ribs, melted off the bone, and continued on my tongue. The surprise star of the evening was the brussel sprout kimchee. Truly inspired side dish. The antelope filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The horseradish sauce complimented literally everything on his plate. We are living! And we ordered dessert! I am having the dark chocolate torte with vanilla bean ice cream, and my fiance went for the key lime pie, and a cannoli!Kevin, our server, made this experience even better. Friendly, attentive, and even brought out the chef without us having to ask.
Food was mediocre, at best. Service was good. Ambiance was descent. For appetizers we ordered the curried shrimp and the crab/lobster tower. The curried shrimp was actually good (and was probably the best dish of the nightand the seafood tower was tasteless. Salt/pepper couldn’t help it it. For the main entrees we had the filet mignon and the scallops with risotto. Again, both the filet mignon and the scallops were tasteless and overly done. Risotto and mashed potatoes was a little blah as well. Given how disappointed we were about the food, we decided to forgo dessert and go elsewhere. My cousin enjoyed their espresso martini; I didn’t care for their wine selection that they apparently rave about. Ambiance was nice and our server somewhat made up for the mediocre/bad food. However, I did specify that it was my cousins’ birthday when I made the reservation and they did nothing special. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, experience was okay. Overly priced for what you get. While I was not expecting a Michelin rated experience (even a 1-star), it was NOT what I was expecting given the reviews on Google, Yelp, or even Open Table. Given that, I don’t know who I should be more disappointed at — Eden or the reviews???
We started with the grilled Caesar salad and seafood tower. Both were very good. Entrees were day boat scallops and an Arctic char special. Also very good. I think I was hoping for a little more though. Everything was solid but not exceptional. The service was very attentive and on point so definitely no issues there. Spaced out seating on the upstairs balcony was very nice. It’s covered too so you don’t have to worry about rain.
I was incredibly nervous going here because of Covid 19 but my server Kevin was beyond fantastic. Not only did he cater to all my needs but he ensured the food runners and everyone else did too.Aside from the amazing service the food is pretty good too. They have a Barolo by the glass which is amazing and oddly enough my favorite thing was the carrots. Everything was good but they were fantastic.
Fantastic meal and service . They accepted reservations for our large party and accommodated us when we arrived with extra guests from a miscount. They made extra arrangements with flowers on the table and decorations for one of our guests birthday . Holly did a great job serving us and keeping our drinks flowing . The appetizers and entrees were fantastic.
This is a fun magical place to eat. Its pricier, but so worth a night out to treat yourself or for date night. The inside is very cute and will remind some of Allison Blyths La La Land back in the 90s...without all the glitter. An amazing staff tops off the night of fantastic food.
Great food and service. Like the ambient. Highly recommend to make reservations. Best desserts in town. I would give 4.5 stars.
Really wonderful place. Great ambiance. Romantic. Wonderful service. All 3 of the appetizers where great. The crab and lobster tower was amazing, I loved the pork belly and the chicken empanadas was very good.We wanted the filet mignon very rare which is often a problem. Not for the Eden. It was perfect. The Ahi tuna was superb.Deserts were as good as the rest of the meal. Torte with carmel ice cream was very tasty but the black and blue cobbler was my favorite.
